I hired Chef Aless and her team this past weekend for my birthday/housewarming party in Manhattan. I told her from the first phone call that I didn't want to have to do anything for the party (in terms of preparation and serving) and she went above and beyond my expectations. First off, the communication for the planning was outstanding. She answered all of my questions and never made me feel like I was a pest (there were a lot of them). For the food, I chose to have passed hors d'oeuvres and allowed her to select them for me and include some vegan options. Needless, to say, they were all unique and totally delicious (especially the lollipop pigs in a blanket)! All of my guests were raving! Once Aless and her team arrived to set up, I knew I was in good hands. They brought everything and were totally prepared and organized. I felt so relieved. Once the party started, they took care of everything, just as I had requested. Her team did a fantastic job (Nacho's cocktails can't be beaten), Madina (thanks for calming my nerves), and Stephen were all awesome! I felt so lucky to have such a great crew! They even cleaned up after so I had no work to do. Everything was presented elegantly and Cheff Aless was a major contributor to making my party a huge success. I would highly recommend hiring Chef Aless and her team for your event!

This Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for Chef Aless! My husband and I wanted to host Thanksgiving in NY, but since we were coming in from California and staying at an airbnb, we thought it would be a lot to have to cook everything. Enter Chef Aless. After reaching out, she responded right away and suggested a menu that sounded excellent. Communicating ahead of time was easy and seamless. Chef Aless delivered the food with simple instructions and everything looked great. She even brought extra decorations so we could present the Turkey beautifully to our guests. The food was delicious! My favorite was the truffle mashed potatoes but everything was yummy. Everyone that lives in NY asked for Chef Aless's number so they could use here in the future too. If you want to host a party with great food and no stress I definitely recommend reaching out to Chef Aless.

10000000 stars!!! Chef Aless prepared amazing food for my husband and I's wedding. I would recommend a thousand times over. Not only does she perfect her main courses but the presentation of appetizers and salads are beautiful as well. Her team does an incredible job and it shows. Our wedding guests continue to talk about the food and how absolutely delicious everything was. She can do it all, classic comfort food or a fancy French meal. Thank you thank you thank you!!

We had Chef Aless cater our 12 person wedding weekend, and we could not recommend her highly enough. The food was incredible and she went above and beyond to work with us to make sure it was organized as we'd like and everything was coordinated safely during COVID. She is not only an incredible chef but also a wonderful person and was such a fantastic addition to the weekend. She had incredible range - covering everything from a fancy sit down plated dinner with steak / seafood to a more casual grab and go lunch to canapés for the group (the Wagu beef pigs in a blanket were A HIT). You have to try the Famous Chicken and Pasta au Jus. Plus the shrimp curry. Plus everything, honestly. You should absolutely work with Aless to cater any future events! Thank you so much, Chef Aless!

I found Chef Aless on Yelp and booked her for my son's 1st birthday last week for a 15 people private dinner party at my house. She was very nice and professional (came to my house with face mask and gloves which I really appreciate because I have small children at home), quick at responding emails, we discussed the menu and she also took care of the serveware rentals for me. The food was very delicious and the presentation was a bomb! ( I reached out to two other catering/private chefs and they only offer drop off service during COVID-19 time, but Aless helped with setting up the table and as well as the presentation). My personal favorites were: -Chef Aless's famous chicken -Lobster sliders -Kobe beef lollipops -Brie and fig crostini Will definitely book her for my next event!

AMAZING!! My husband booked Carlos for my birthday dinner. He was so amazing!!! Not only was the food delicious but he was so neat. You would never know someone was in my kitchen. He even offered to throw away the garbage. Highly recommend!!!

Our daughter's wedding weekend was amazing! Due to COVID she did not want any "extra people" - only Chef Aless. We lucked out because Chef Aless is so experienced and professional and flexible and creative and an amazing chef with a wonderful personality and mad cooking skills. The quality of the spreads for breakfast, lunch and dinner were A+. We only had 12 people including the bride and groom but everyone was thrilled with their food experience. My favorite thing was the curry shrimp atop coconut rice! My daughter and her husband loved the "special chef Aless chicken pasta". It was really good. The vegetable frittata at brunch on Sunday was a huge hit as was the Nutella crepes with the freshest berries and homemade whipped cream. Oh and the passed hors d'oeuvres - lobster salad cones and wagyu pigs in the blanket made everyone pretty happy ! Our more formal sit down dinner on Saturday night was prepared, plated and served all by Chef Aless. She also cleared our plates and cleaned up (which I would think for such an amazing chef is unheard of but these are unique times). Chef truly wanted us to have a great wedding food experience and she surpassed our pretty high expectations. Thank you Chef Aless. You are a special talent!

    Lobster cones

Chef Aless was amazing and exceeded all my expectations of a home chef experience. From the moment I reached out to her about an at home dinner party celebration for 7, she was professional, easy to work with and imaginative. She worked with me to create a menu that was even better than I was thinking of and she was very flexible with great communication skills. The food was out of this world, her lobster cones and tuna tartare in cucumber were huge hits. The dinner had so much variety and was plated beautifully and tasted great. (The guys are still talking about her sweet and spicy ribeye and how perfectly it was cooked.) I have nothing but great things to say about Chef Aless, and I highly recommend her for whatever your cooking needs may be. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!!

Duck Cassoulet, Vegetable Tian, Duck fat roasted potatoes

Chef Aless cooked an amazing dinner for us! I wanted to do something special for my wife's birthday since we could not go out due to the shelter-in-place orders from the pandemic. We had one of the best Duck Cassoulet's ever and some excellent starters and sides. We will definitely order from Chef Aless again in the future and highly recommend her. http://www.chefaless.com/

I've met, mentored, trained, worked along side of, for and with amazing groups of individuals all encompassing this world of creatives. So this brings me to this...how did I not discover Jason's Kitchen until recently? Where has this Chef been and why has he not blown up bigger than he has?!?! Jason is actually a classmate of mine from my hometown in New Jersey. I've followed him lightly on social media platforms through his culinary journey from birth of his unfathomable determination and skill to break out on his own - a self taught Chef running a full service catering company. Encompassing Private and Personal dining experiences in the luxury of your private home or event space, Chef Jason brings not only his complete professionalism, but also a mind blowing culinary exploration of perfectly balanced ingredients that not only touch each of your five senses, but envokes a feeling of complete bliss. Each dish is thought out with culinary precision and executed beautifully. You can taste each ingredient as it rolls around your mouth and tongue. Balanced with the simplicity of what brought this dish to concept. This culinary journey his menu takes you on is unreal. I have never worked for or with a more talented Chef, who's personal energy is calm and humble, and confident not cocky. We had a dinner party to celebrate a birthday and a divorce with 9 close friends. Chef Jason, his Sous Chef June, and our lovely servers Karl and Cara really made this evening special. Everything flowed seamlessly. Any anxiety I had walked out the door as soon as this team went to work. It was a quiet calm and focused energy. They also didn't mind me being in the kitchen watching and tasting and asking a million questions. I can not recommend enough Jason's Kitchen for your next event. Exceptional! Thank you Chef Jason and Sous June. You blew our minds away!

Never have I ever been more disappointed... that Yelp doesn't let users give more than 5 stars…read more Because Jason's Kitchen deserves at least 100. My now-husband and I were searching for chefs to cater our small, intimate wedding of 13 people in our home. We found Jason on Yelp and from his first friendly email and sample menu, we knew it was a perfect fit. Thank you, Yelp! It is not hyperbole when I tell you that Jason's Kitchen is some of the best food you will ever eat. Jason and June are phenomenal chefs; to eat their Michelin Star-worthy food in your own home feels like a decadent privilege reserved for royalty. A few of our favorite dishes were the yellowtail crudo (to die for), tuna tartare (floated up to heaven), mini french onion soup bites (became reincarnated), burrata salad (was reborn), paella (lived a full other life), and rack of lamb with pesto sauce (found enlightenment). They worked with attentiveness, diligence, and grace, but what was most impressive was the down-to-earth, calm, and good-natured attitude throughout the night. The spectacular food AND their presence was truly an amazing addition to our day. Special shout-out to Jason for being a fellow Petty fan. The server, Marybeth, and the bartender, Anthony, carried the same good-natured, relaxed, and kind presence. Marybeth was gracious and friendly, and I swear my kitchen was cleaner at the end of the night than before. I only had a vacuum and small dustpan and brush on-hand and Marybeth used that little brush to clean everything because she didn't want to disturb us with too much noise with the vacuum. The small things! Anthony prepared copious amounts of cocktails with a smile and a good laugh throughout the day and evening. The drinks were as smooth as his pours and I am fairly certain every family member personally bonded with him in a way that I wouldn't be surprised if he is invited to another family wedding. Or a golf match. Overall, my husband and I agree that Jason's Kitchen was the best decision we made on that day, as well as deciding to spend our lives together. I'm now scheming other events we can have just to work with Jason's Kitchen again. 1 month wedding anniversary? And then again for our 2 months? Jason, we'll be in touch. In all seriousness, I would like to extend the most heartfelt thank you to this team. We are beyond grateful for your help to make our day the most special. We called Olivia after speaking with many caterers about about approach, cuisine and budget, and we were honestly getting a bit defeated. My first conversation with Olivia was so incredibly refreshing in that I told her we are trying to decide between tacos or barbeque and she responded with a very effortless, "why choose?". This immediately put me at ease as we started to brainstorm together. All other caterers were now subpar. She crafted a beautiful menu for us that included mini (single-bite) sized tacos as part of the hors d'oeuvres and an upscale barbeque with hometown roots for the entree. Our guests have not stopped RAVING about our food (strong accolades for the BBQ still rolling in from our Texas and Tennessee-native guests, so you know it was great!). I'll admit, a small part of the reason is because I keep my apartment very cold and really love soups. The primary reason though is that I found an executive chef who is a culinary genius that will cater and deliver phenomenal gourmet food directly to my door at very reasonable prices. This was one of the best original soups that I've tasted in a very long while. A great thick, creamy texture, good heat (without being too spicy), and you could taste the flavor of the ingredients, not just get overwhelmed by the red pepper. The taste and texture worked in perfect concert together, just like the cream and the red pepper. I've been paying ten bucks a quart for deli-quality soups during this quarantine. This was certainly in a much different class of quality, for the same exact price. Once people catch on to this amazing value, I'll likely end up paying far more for the same caliber of cuisine. However, supporting a well-deserving and hardworking small business with an honest and positive is more important to me than saving a little money. By the way, in addition to his well-honed, epicurean chops, Chef Sebastian is also a real sweetheart of a guy. I know a lot of great chefs and they're not all...oh, what's a good euphemism to use here? As good at dealing with people as they are with knives. Well, Chef Sebastian is wonderful with both. A true professional and a good person. Alright, now let me review some more of his food. In the late 1990s, I lived in New Orleans. So, I definitely know a thing or two about great-tasting cornbread. Chef Sebastian makes excellent cornbread. Not too crumbly, but also not sticky. There's nice pieces of whole corn and little pieces of jalapenos inside. Remember, I'm not a big fan of spicy, but this cornbread was perfect. Not too spicy and it was pre-cut into small squares for me and filled an entire sizeable container. I've eaten a few pieces with 4 meals already and I still have leftovers. His portions are immense. That goes double for the Slow Smoked Beer Marinated Local Shortrib ($27 with corn and cornbread). I've never been given that much shortrib in a single portion intended for one person. I LOVE his homemade BBQ sauce so much that I used it abundantly, put the shortribs in potato roll buns and served them up similar to pulled pork sandwiches, only these were far better because they were beer marinated shortribs. There was enough for 4.5 overstuffed sandwiches. My executive chef friend ate one, along with a piece of cornbread, and was extremely impressed with both as well. The Smoked Whole Trout ($14) was actually a bit overwhelming. Even with my big appetite, I certainly couldn't finish it. It's an entire large cooked trout. For $14 and hand delivered to your door by the chef himself? Where else will you get that type of value? Nowhere! Certainly not near Port Washington, where I live. I ate half of the fish the first day that the food arrived because obviously it's seafood. Although, I did decide to sneak Chef S's New Jersey grilled corn on the cob into this meal, even though it really came to compliment another dish. I didn't want to wait though. The fish was cooked nicely and traveled very well. A nice thickness, easy to cut the meat away, and just a nice smokey flavor throughout. However, I avoided the recommended horseradish sauce that came with it because I was in the mood for more of a fish flavor. I wasn't disappointed. The corn was tasty too. The 24 Hour Slow Smoked BBQ Pork Shoulder ($21 with corn and cornbread) was another massive creation. Once again, I had leftovers. You can taste the time it took to cook this. Completely fall off-the-bone type of dish and so savory. Extremely tender and also beautifully complimented by Chef's homeade BBQ sauce. Honestly, that stuff could go with anything. It's delicious. Local Jersey Peach Crisp with Homemade Whipped Cream ($7). My favorite dessert from anywhere this month. It's a giant piece made for 2 people, as long as one of them isn't me. LOL. I devoured about 3/4 of it because it was so incredible. Thin fresh peach slices with a deliciously sugary crust. This dessert could start an addiction. Just before writing this paragraph I polished off the remaining 1/4 piece left in my fridge. By the way, his food and containers keep very well. The food is delicious, but the portions are huge! Pickle Spears ($8). These are smaller sized pickle spears. However, there's enough of them to fill the jar and they're obviously pickled that way to provide much more surface area and access to the flavors of Chef's special blend of peppers and seasonings. They're very good. If you like pickles, you'll totally like these. Lots of flavors: garlic, peppers, mustard seeds, and some others. Be careful though, these bite back. Everything is PERFECT!
