I absolutely love this spot and the staff is incredibly welcoming. My go to is the Hawaiian Pitaya Bowl. That dragonfruit base is divine and that fruit is ALWAYS fresh. The dragonfruit is the right amount of sweet. The bottom of the bowl is granola and when you mix it in you get absolute magic. *This review is for the new Bora Bora location in Jamaica (Queens), NY.*. I had high hopes for this place as it looked really nice and is but to charge such obscenely high prices especially for the area that it's in seems absolutely absurd to me. $10 for a smoothie? In Jamaica...really? I can go to the deli across the street and get it for half the price and still at reliable quality. I didn't even bother with the smoothies and opted for a halloumi cheese croffle instead. First, there was supposed to be pesto sauce in this and I saw virtually none of it and had to take the croffle apart to see if it was actually there. Second, the cucumbers + croffle are not a great texture combo at all. Third, again, the price doesn't make sense granted the croffle was so small but it's a *tad* bit more reasonable than the smoothies. All in all, I wish this place luck but I don't see them succeeding in this neighborhood at all. read more

I got so overwhelmed with so many options that all sounded amazing. I ended up getting an acai bowl recommended by him (I believe it was the bora nut). It was absolutely delicious! Let me start with the positive, I had the date smoothie. Which I thought was tasty and very filling. All my fav ingredients. A little milky but really good, I love dates. The order was taken right away, not many people when we walked in. There was 4 people behind the counter, but it took them 15 minutes to start making the smoothie. It didn't make sense to me, I've been in busy locations and received my order in 10 minutes or less. The store is very nicely designed, they have smoothies, coffee, açaí bowls, waffles etc. lots of what looks like yummy options. 3 days in a row my daughter and I have bought food from here and I can honestly say legit, EVERYTHING they make here is delicious! The crepes are to die for! You need to try them. The drinks are perfectly refreshing and everything is made fresh from scratch nothing is old or leftover. The ambience is super chill and cute with nice music to vibe out to. Not to mention as well the customer service is on par, every single person who has served us there has been so Friendly with a beautiful smile and heart. This place is exceptional and deserves every ounce of credit and praise it gets! I went there tonight to get crepes again as my daughter was craving them. I was greeted by a beautiful sweet girl named shysta, ( i probably spelled that wrong) her conversation and recommendations were awesome. She recommended the lychee lemonade and it was delicious! We ordered a green juice that should have included cucumber, celery, spinach, ginger. They obviously don't clean their machine because all I could taste was orange juice in it. I stopped by to try this new establishment as it looked very appealing from the outside. I ordered the: Eggs Benedict croffle Smoked turkey croffle These croffles were decent. The croffles itself were more flat than fluffy and was very oily. If you like thin croffles that are crunchy, give these a try. The flavors were okay but did not wow me. Bora bora crepe We tried they namesake crepe. I should have looked at the pictures online before ordering this as this was one of the most chocolatey crepe I've ever had. It was a regular crepe with fruits but drenched in layers of different melted chocolates. If you like chocolate like that, give it a try. But for me, we couldn't finish it amongst 2 people. Too sweet and too much chocolate, which overpowered any other aspect of the crepe. Overall this place was decent to try. Should be a negative stars review, but no one allows that. Well I am sure the person who bought food on my card without my permission will be back. I don't live in NY and never give anyone permission to use me card. These people don't seem concerned about fraud nor are they in any hurry to do anything besides emailing about it. After multipule contacts regarding the fraud they keep asking for info and then not doing anything about it. So from their actions I can figure they either don't care about the fraud or there is so much they can't keep up? Either way it took what, a minute to take the money but more then a week to not return it. If your system can't find a specific amount on a specific day in under 20 minutes then you might need a different system. Just a thought. But anyway thanks so much for the service, I will remember it. read more

I've come a few times before and I've never really loved anything (way too sweet) but was happy to see they were on classpass (free to me from work), so I ordered something on classpass. The employees had no idea what it is (was anything disclosed to them about a new operation? Obviously not). The girl at the register had no clue what to do and wouldn't honor the order. So I had to cancel the order but because of how slow the employees seem to be and the bad service, I wont be returning. Nothing here is worth it unless it's free! But even then, good luck getting them to honor your orders! read more
