I'm always craving a smoothie especially on a hot summer day. I got the mango peach banana smoothie because that seemed the most "pure" of the ones I was eyeing. One has ice cream and I wasn't aware they would be like a milkshake lol. It was a solid smoothie and had mango chunks at the end. I got the small which was 16 oz and $9.78. It hit the spot but Hawa will always be my go to smoothie place.

    #9 Halloumi- very mediocre

*This review is for the new Bora Bora location in Jamaica (Queens), NY.*. I had high hopes for this place as it looked really nice and is but to charge such obscenely high prices especially for the area that it's in seems absolutely absurd to me. $10 for a smoothie? In Jamaica...really? I can go to the deli across the street and get it for half the price and still at reliable quality. I didn't even bother with the smoothies and opted for a halloumi cheese croffle instead. First, there was supposed to be pesto sauce in this and I saw virtually none of it and had to take the croffle apart to see if it was actually there. Second, the cucumbers + croffle are not a great texture combo at all. Third, again, the price doesn't make sense granted the croffle was so small but it's a *tad* bit more reasonable than the smoothies. All in all, I wish this place luck but I don't see them succeeding in this neighborhood at all.

I was visiting a friend in Bay Ridge who has raved about Bora Bora forever & I was finally able to try it out. We ordered on Uber Eats - when he gave me the menu to check out, it was endless. I got so overwhelmed with so many options that all sounded amazing. I ended up getting an acai bowl recommended by him (I believe it was the bora nut). It was absolutely delicious! The size was perfect & it tasted so fresh. I am craving it till this day... I am coming back to Bay Ridge just for this .. (& my friend ofc ... maybe) haha

Let me start with the positive, I had the date smoothie. Which I thought was tasty and very filling. All my fav ingredients. A little milky but really good, I love dates. The order was taken right away, not many people when we walked in. There was 4 people behind the counter, but it took them 15 minutes to start making the smoothie. It didn't make sense to me, I've been in busy locations and received my order in 10 minutes or less. The store is very nicely designed, they have smoothies, coffee, açaí bowls, waffles etc. lots of what looks like yummy options. The floor could have used a good sweep and spot mop, outside of that everything else seemed clean. I would've given more stars if it weren't for the wait time. Looked a bit disorganized with their execution.

3 days in a row my daughter and I have bought food from here and I can honestly say legit, EVERYTHING they make here is delicious! The crepes are to die for! You need to try them. The drinks are perfectly refreshing and everything is made fresh from scratch nothing is old or leftover. The ambience is super chill and cute with nice music to vibe out to. Not to mention as well the customer service is on par, every single person who has served us there has been so Friendly with a beautiful smile and heart. This place is exceptional and deserves every ounce of credit and praise it gets! I went there tonight to get crepes again as my daughter was craving them. I was greeted by a beautiful sweet girl named shysta, ( i probably spelled that wrong) her conversation and recommendations were awesome. She recommended the lychee lemonade and it was delicious! As well as the Spanish coffee and shaken espresso which I will definitely be back to try those. 10 stars to excellent customer service, a clean inviting ambience, and some of the most delicious food I have ever tasted. Check out this place I promise you won't regret it.

To buy chocolate crêpe, and Dubai chocolate cup

Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe delivers a sweet escape with its decadent treats and cozy atmosphere. I indulged in the Dubai Chocolate Crêpe, which was perfectly rich and satisfying. The Nutella Smoothie was a creamy, chocolatey delight, and the Dubai Chocolate Cup was pure indulgence--smooth, luscious, and bursting with flavor. It's a dessert lover's paradise and a perfect spot to satisfy your chocolate cravings!

Relatively new juice bar in my area. I wanted to try it with my daughter, but she wasn't interested. I took forever to make a choice, but the girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful. I finally opted for the Sunset. The drink was okay, but basically just tasted like a cup of 7UP. I will visit again and go with a smoothie or milkshake. They offer crepes and waffles along with their non alcoholic drink options and believe it's worth a visit.

Milkshake was good, service was quick and I like the decor. Environment was friendly.I would come again .

    The Pink Freeze

Was in the area and wanted something sweet- walked in to this spacious shop and decided on The Pink Freeze- a mixed concoction of Strawberry flavored carbonated drink with Peach jelly candy and Cotton Candy~Sugar high alert! Also, order the mango berry mix frozen drink~balanced out the sugary Pink Freeze; the menu also has crepes, and and other savory items. Overall, a good dessert spot in the neighborhood.

    Oreo Milkshake

A wonderful little desert spot in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The staff is super friendly, and the food is delicious. We had an Oreo milkshake, and the Bora Bora Crepe; a delightful and decadent blend of Nutella, Kinder, and pistachio sauce smothering a crepe filled with strawberries and bananas.

It would not have been such an inconvenience if it wasn't raining and there was no place to stand for 2 hours. I hopped back on the subway as my only option as I was hungry, cold and wet. After taking the wrong direction to Marcy Ave and getting back on track decided to come back. Got here and asked for the NY Cheesecake crepe with Carmel instead of chocolate and he said he has to CHARGE me for Carmel instead of chocolate. Huh! I explained that I took the subway twice $3 each way because when I got here, the food delivery truck was outside delivering boxes and the sign said opening a 1 pm. Mind you I already said it was my second time here today when I walked in. Really!?! Terrible customer service!!!!!! I'm from out of town but yikes! I left Times Square to visit this small business in the rain. The $19 crepe was decent.

Being only a few blocks away and rated fairly high, Creperie popped up on my search so I knew I had to stop by on one of my evening walks back from the office. Although a rather tiny little shop, Creperies manages to still have some very limited seating right outside. As well as counter space inside the shop if you don't mind standing and crowding with other people waiting for their orders. I ordered the Strawberry and Banana crepe as it seemed to be a popular option. Size-wise, this crepe is pretty hefty and filling. Comes in an aluminum container so it's much less messy to grab and go. Although sweet, I felt the crepe itself was just ok. Nothing about it really stood out nor made it particularly memorable. They offer both sweet and savory crepes here if you want to make a meal out of it.

Picture this: Friday afternoon, after traipsing from Uptown to BedStuy to get a color correction (thank you, Judith Essien!), I take a stroll along Macon and find this gem of a place. The literal definition of shabby chic in the interior, and just warm and cozy the minute you walk in. I am greeted by the most lovely server (Aziz? I tried looking for him later to get his name, but I'm sure he's West African like me). I ordered Crepe 31 (Smoked salmon, spinach, tomatoes, Swiss cheese and bechamel sauce) of the SPICY variety (they will ask you how spicy you want it); listen I was raised to love scotch bonnets, so I wanted this thing spicy and it was the best!!! What a great balance of creamy, spicy and savory! There's a plethora of crepe options, so I will definitely be back to try the other flavors! Also ordered the Bissap (shout out to the diaspora because this is Zobo in Naija, Sobolo in Ghana, and Sorrel in Jamaica) and it was everything!!! The right amount of tartness and spice. I also highly recommend the turmeric smoothie and the raisin croissant (they warmed it so it was lovely)!!!! I'm coming back next week to try their matcha options and more crepes!
