The consistency of the crepe is so light that you barely even notice that the crepe is made from whole wheat batter. They put a good amount of Nutella as well as fresh strawberries. Occasionally, I will opt for a savory crepe which are solid. I love that they name their crepes after iconic neighborhoods in Brooklyn. Conveniently located near several workout/yoga studios I go to, this cute little spot is perfect for a pick me up! Friendly staff and fast service, everything I've tried here is amazing. Some of my favorites have been their Berry Buzz, Gold Coast and Pink Drink smoothies, as well as their Mr. Clean and Cold Buster fresh juices. My only feedback would be to have the cups used for fresh juice chilled so that the juice itself can get a bit cold when served. They don't add in ice, which I do appreciate because you get more juice and bang for your buck! read more

I'm not really a crepe fan, but my boyfriend had it in his head that he wanted to go here, so we stopped by for breakfast one day last week, and he ordered a savory crepe called the Bensonhurst, which he made me try, and I have to admit, it was much better than I had anticipated. I did not have much on the menu. i purchased a smoothie . but this is a one stop shop for all your healthy desires. i purchased a pink drink smoothie. it has an oat milk base which i have never tried before. it has a hint of cinnamon the customer service was awesome and everyone wore masks. i have gotten used to seeing servers wear masks. it did not take very long since i was only one being served. I don't know if I'm just weird or have a different way of making caramelized onions but the ones in the crepe did not taste caramelized and kind of ruined it for me (on top of the sogginess). The salmon and goat cheese were top notch though! I will say, I mixed the hot chocolate with coffee and that was delicious! I've just had the greatest evening of my life with Bkln Crepe (and juice). Savory crepes? Magnificent. Sweet crepes? *chefs kiss*. Those smoothies? Divinity. A religious experience. Maybe overselling it, but I want to hype them up for the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. I ordered through an app, and the app glitched. The people working here are beyond sweet, and put in so much effort to make sure I got more order (I am not worthy of the level of kindness that they bestowed upon me.) Give them all your money (and to the owner, please give the staff who was working tonight a raise.) Evan was a gem. Stopped in here for a look when I saw that they have gluten-free crepe batter that is also dairy-free, and upon inquiring, it turns out the gluten-free crepe batter is also vegan (egg-free)! I was thrilled because I don't come across gluten-free AND vegan crepes often in NYC. My first visit here I got a peanut butter & banana sweet crepe, and the second time, I got a custom savory crepe with grilled mushroom, caramelized onion, and chickpeas. The latter probably sounds a little strange, and I even wondered aloud after I ordered it if it was weird, but the guy who took my order assured me that it would be good (and NOT weird) because they mix together the filling with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper. And it turns out, it was delicious and very satisfying. It even came with a small side salad, too. I do have to say that the gluten-free crepe batter doesn't hold together all that well, so it kind of fell apart as I was eating them (both the sweet and the savory), but I didn't care. Just don't expect the crepe to stay neat as you eat it. They tasted so good. I just wish there was a tofu option for the crepe fillings as I would have loved to be able to add protein to my crepe (both sweet and savory). Also would have been nice to have an option for a vegan cheese to help hold the savory filling together and add another dimension to the flavor profile. The place is small - just a small counter at the window with a few stools to sit at. Outside is a bench that you could sit on when the weather is warmer. They also have a lot of juices and smoothies, but I'm not really a juice or smoothie person on a regular basis. Brooklyn Crepe & Juice has an extremely impressive menu and range of offerings from crepes to juices. I especially loved all the boosters you could add to you drink. I ordered the medium kale aid because the large was intimidating (and less aesthetically pleasing, sorry I'm basic like that) but I instantly regretted not getting the large a few sips into my drink. I expected a strong leafy flavor but it tasted more lemon than anything, which is not a negative. You have to drink it at once though, once the pulp settles and warms it's kind of nasty. Even after I mixed the cup around, the flavors didn't blend together again as nicely as when I first received the drink. During quarantine I activated my workout persona and would go on some runs around my neighborhood. I would always pass by this place and my friend absolutely loves it here! So I felt very inclined to stop here after my runs for a follow up smoothie! That day started the addiction! It was the Green Mango smoothie for me. I love green smoothies or just enjoy adding kale/ spinach to my smoothies. And this smoothie tastes so delicious, the honey and the mint make the perfect combo! By this point, I've tried most things on their menu and can say that they excel at consistency. I'm personally a sucker for the chicken pot pie soup in the dead of winter. Prices are definitely reasonable for the neighborhood and are on par with most fast casual chain dining spots. As far as I know, Bklyn Crepe is a small business with only one location, making your stop all the more worthwhile. Beyond the great food, the staff is extremely friendly and makes a great effort to serve customers quickly with attention to detail. Every time I've gone in I've been asked about allergies and food intolerances, and have never had an issue with cross-contamination. I noticed recently pineapples have been giving me bad acid reflex so the store actually called me to see what other options they could give me in my smoothie to replace the pineapple juice in my green mango smoothie, which I thought was very personable and is the reason we will continue to support this establishment. You're charged extra for the special Crêpe, the pesto that comes on it is not vegan, and when asked if there could be a substitution- they want to charge extra AGAIN. What you get is a sad, dry, crepe with a few veggies inside- no sauce. It is not filling and definitely not worth $13+. Skip this place- it's not worth your tastebuds or your money. To the owners: If you're gonna make a vegan offering- then really do it- make it good and something you would eat. And don't charge extra because you can. Update: This business's reply speaks for itself. I work 80 hour weeks and travel a lot which means I go out a lot. I only leave reviews that are one star for businesses like this one, who's product or behavior I find extremely problematic and only seem to respond to public reviews. I attempted to contact this business 2 days after and was left on hold. The person never returned to the phone. I was then contacted by the department of health after posting this review and learned there are 2 open investigations against this business. ILL JUST LEAVE IT AT THAT! Exactly one week ago I walked in here and got 2 juices. For the last week I've been sick and vomiting after going there. And now if I even smell the ingredients in those juices I feel nauseous and sick. I've never had my body react this way. Later found out, that it was a form a food poising. I'm beyond done with this place. I also still have my receipt with the date on it in case this business attempts to remove my review. The BEST grain bowls!! I order from here about once a week, and delivery is always super fast and reliable. I ordered the Red Hook and Coney Island crepes through Postmates for my girlfriend and thought that would be a done deal. After 45 min of waiting, Postmates called to tell my my order was canceled because the driver couldn't pick up, and that I would get a refund; disappointing, but simple enough. A minute later, Postmates called back and had the owner of the Brooklyn Crepe and Juice on the other line, and told me that the owner is offering to send someone out to deliver the food I ordered, and for free! I couldn't refuse that, and thanked the owner through the Postmates customer service lady many times over. 20 minutes later, I find out from my girlfriend that not only was the delivered food absolutely delicious, but it was delivered quickly by none other than the owner himself on his way home (AND in the rain)! He obviously knows how to treat a customer (in this case two), and we are very thankful for him and his awesome crepes. Safe to say that we will be visiting Brooklyn Crepes and Juice very soon to thank him in person, and we will definitely recommend friends and family to this restaurant. read more
