Respectfully do not eat from here. I ordered via grubhub and the bowls were giving me second thought if the greens were actually fresh or were quinoa or chicken clean and fresh as well. Next thing I know, after eating half the bowl the whole day i was having indigestion problems. And throughout the nighttime that's when diarrhea came through and vomited all night. A friend treated me to lunch at work, with a salad from OverGreens. I was excited to try it because it looked really good and it was my first taste experience with this salad restaurant. The salad was nothing to rave about, added cauliflower and mushrooms. The cauliflower was underwhelming in flavor and the mushrooms are uncooked. The salad was reminiscent of a bagged salad at the supermarket Ave the cocktail was very meh. The panini was also very underwhelming in flavor. Also tried the caramel brownie, a no for me. There was not a lentil or vegetable to be seen in the entire cup. I've never had a lentil soup with no actual lentils. It also had no flavor and desperately needed salt. This is my go to spot when Im sick or injured and need some healthy food. Ive never been to the restaurant so cant comment about the service or ambiance. Usually get it delivered. One time I was so sick and I couldn't tolerate any food and got so sick. So I got the lentil soup and it was a lifesaver. Like really. It nursed me back to health! I really dig the vibes of having all the ingredients displayed. It makes the restaurant have a very fresh and healthy atmosphere. The seating area is unique and earthy. The Caesar salad was definitely worth it. It had a generous portion size, equal ingredient portion bites and a great flavor. Pleasantly surprised by the Kale Caesar Salad. Each bite had chicken, parm, and almost every bite had tomatoes. The salad dressing was light and the perfect amount. I would have given 5 stars if we hadn't also ordered the Salmon wrap, which was underwhelming in every way. Over half of the wrap was just bites of plain, dry lettuce. Sadly, I just placed my last order with this store. I've been ordering pickup and delivery for a few years now, I think since they opened. I usually love my açaí bowls. This time the açaí tasted artificial and disgusting. I don't know what changed?? And the granola in it was overly sweetened and had an odd amaretto flavor to it that doesn't work with the rest of the bowl. And I thought I would try a brownie. I'm not under the impression that a brownie is healthy, but I at least expected decent ingredients coming from a healthy eatery. The ingredients were so bad that I tossed it in the garbage. I'm so happy that this place opened, because Windsor Terrace was seriously lacking in fast casual restaurants to get customizable salads/bowls, smoothies, acai bowls, and other healthy items. I was also worried about chain restaurants taking over the neighborhood, so I'm really happy to now be able to support a local business near where I live that I used to patronize when I worked in Sheepshead Bay! This spot is so pretty inside, and the menu is full of delicious-sounding items that I can't wait to try. So far, I've only tried the Over Shake, but it was absolutely amazing, and I'm thrilled to no longer have to head further into Park Slope from Windsor Terrace just to get a good smoothie. I had the kale salad, which is an attempt at copying the Sweetgreen classic. The rice was undercooked, the dressing too strong, and the kale tough, and coarsely shredded. This is the second day that I've ordered a carrots and green apple juice. This is the second time this week that I have ordered this juice and each time I got the juice it tasted extremely watered down. When I asked the girl that made my juice why it was not sweet she told me that this is the Way carrot an apple is suppose to taste like. I come to this place because I walk in the park and I enjoy healthy places to indulge in. I travel all the way from Staten Island and I was really disappointed with the customer service and the juice and the response that I got. I was told to put Aguave a sweetener in my juice to make it sweeter. She could've easily said let me remake it for you, but didn't offer and told me that this is the way it tastes like. For someone that is coming to get a natural juice I don't think putting a sweetener is a solution to that I don't recommend this place. Only have been here two times so far! Both times were pleasant experiences. First time, a smoothie at 9pm. I'm always looking for a smoothie spot later in the evenings, so I'm very excited to have Overgreens as a option. Second visit was for a salad. HUGE salad so I recommend getting the dressing on the side in case you can't finish your salad in one sitting. You're able to completely customize your salad which is great and very reasonably priced. To the other reviewer who commented on a 15 minute acai bowl- I've never been anywhere who has made an acai bowl with toppings in less than 15 minutes. I also think new businesses need a bit of a grace period to figure things out, in my opinion. Next visit, I'll def be getting an acai bowl. Def worth a visit, or two or three! read more

I ordered a "fresh-squeezed" orange, grapefruit and lemon drink for $9.95 and left a $1 tip. The juice was NOT fresh-squeezed, it was clearly watered down and they clearly added sugar. I called the manager to complain and she said that it is fresh-squeezed and how it is. I can tell fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juice and this is NOT that. It literally tasted like Tropicana orange juice WITHOUT pulp. The woman who took my order... I asked her multiple times to NOT add water or ice or any other juice or base. She assured me she wouldn't and was simply lying. If they use 1/3 or 1/4 fresh-squeezed juice, that is just NOT overall fresh-squeezed juice. The manager was polite and friendly, but it is completely false advertising. In all fairness, 90% of the juice places I have tried in NYC use the same EXACT tactic: water down the drinks and add sugar and try to PASS ITSELF OFF as selling fresh-squeezed juice. JUST BE HONEST. Wow, tough cookies rating this place. If you saw a popular salad place in manhattan, this is basically that, just friendlier, and dare i say more stylish. I love the green valley salad with chicken, the chicken panini (pre-made but they heat), mushroom omelet or yogurt bento in the AM, and their iced coffee is worthy.
