I e been coming here for years and it was hard to believe my I wrote my last review 2 years ago. I commend them for their consistently great food, customer service, prices which I don't think have increased for a few years, cleanliness and overall commitment to good health. They are always friendly and accommodating no matter how busy they are. They have a great selection of salads, wraps, smoothies, shakes, all healthy choices. They have soups, oatmeal, Açaí bowls, parfaits, frozen toughest, all natural drinks, chips and healthy snacks. There is a small area for about 3 people to sit on bar stools at a window counter and in the warmer weather they have an outside table to sit. They are located outside a park so it's a nice view and somewhere to take you children or significant other. They do deliver so if you're not into coming out it's quick and easy. We literally took the chicken out and counted the pieces and there were only 5 small pieces. They also made us a salad instead of a wrap that had no dressing. They always make sure that you have everything that you need and they take care of you very nicely. This review is for delivery only: I needed a healthy snack before volunteering tonight for election and decided on a healthy wrap. Baby Olive turned up on my Yelp search results and I decided to order from them. Their menu has a nice selection of wraps, salads, açaí bowls, soup, smoothies, juices and frozen yogurt. One can choose to build your own wrap or salad or choose from BO's own options. I decided to build my own wrap: baby spinach, turkey bacon, pepper-Jack cheese, black olives and apples dressed with a lemony poppy dressing. There are other protein add ons such as grilled chicken, avocado, etc.; extra toppings can start from fifty cents to three dollars. I also ordered kids size vanilla frozen yogurt with pineapples. The delivery was prompt and courteous. Now for the deets: Baby Spinach wrap: generous portion, fresh and delicious. The wrap was packed with all above ingredients and the highlights were the crisp turkey bacon and the lemon poppy dressing. I love lemon dressing and this one was light and extremely tasty. Vanilla Frozen Yogurt with pineapple: disappointed on the size ( extra extra small plastic container for $2.50). It didn't travel well: I put it in the freezer immediately but it became soupy. However, the little amount I could salvage tasted delicious. The next time I order it, I will delete adding the pineapple chunks. The pineapple tasted frozen, I wish it was the yogurt that was frozen and the pineapple should have been packaged on the side. I will have to put copious notes to package the yogurt in a freezer intensive cup. I didn't take a pic due to the soupy like content. All in all a very satisfying and healthy meal. HOMEMADE SALAD DRESSING, that is Ah-mazing! Now that, that is out of the way...I have been to baby Olive many times. I usually create my own salad but I have tried their baby powerhouse and it is very good. Their salads are fresh and they have many toppings to choose from, but I wish they had more options. For example they do have chicken and steak, But unlike sweet green they do not have grilled mushrooms as a supplement for vegetarians! They do have goat cheese,feta cheese, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. I also enjoy the fact that they make all their dressing in house. There have been multiple instances where they have poured the dressing on to my salad fresh from The blender. The staff is very nice and kind in making suggestions as to which dressing works with which salad. They also have a large selection of smoothies to choose from. My favorite smoothie is the avocado shake, but I leave out the spinach because I believe that the shake comes out with a creamy or texture and Tastes absolutely amazing without it. I highly recommend the avocado shake or the mango shake. Parking is a bitch it is very hard to park and in front of the store it is a no standing zone. Salads will run you anywhere between seven to $11 and shakes are six dollars I will continue to be a customer as the ingredients are fresh and staff is friendly...prices are reasonable. read more

My dentist is 5 minutes away so it helps because when I can't eat anything for 2 hours I can still drink a smoothie lol.. perfect! I try to switch up the drink every time I come but I tend to gravitate towards the breakfast smoothie and I add peanut butter delicious! I started making it at home.. I love that you can watch them make it. All the ingredients are real and natural, makes the drink that much more enjoyable. They have a decent salad bar too. A lot of options. Came here 3/12/20 with a good friend of mine for a snack. I ordered a Caesar Wrap with a Snapple. My friend was sitting at the stools waiting for my order to be finished. It was very fast service; however, once my order was finished, the woman making the wrap asked my friend what he wants. He politely smiles and explains he is not hungry and will not be ordering. This woman behind the counter asked him again. And again, my friend declined. This woman literally came around the counter and came up close to my friend to quietly whisper that he should get something. My friend and I exchange bewildered looks as he explains over and over again that he is fine. She starts mouthing to him, motioning to his stomach. She then starts to basically plead with him that he NEEDS to try a shake. My friend explains he is allergic to fruit. She actually recommends the fruit smoothie after my friend mentions his deadly allergies! At this point, the woman was now basically begging my friend to order something. It got to the point that I asked her to please stop harassing my friend. I asked her if she's the owner (pushing this hard to sell a frickin salad) but she ignored me. She didn't ignore charging my credit card, though. In the end, the salad wrap was decent, but nothing amazing. Would have been 5 stars EASY, but unfortunately this woman worker lacks self-awareness, and management needs to supervise more. Like, I get it. You're trying to keep the business open. Great! At first I was pretty excited to be able to get some fresh juice (and greens!) while staying with my family. Then I arrived and immediately felt imitated by the various choices and hole-in-the-wall dining space. I am pretty open to trying different restaurants as a vegan, but also very afraid something is going to go wrong with my order. Rest assured, the staff was able to assist me in choosing the right ingredients and kind enough to swap gloves for my salad bowl. My only gripe is that other customers can be hella rude, everyone just jumps the line and well. I guess this is New York for ya. The food is pretty good tho. The salad here is ok. If you choose one of their combo salads it should be cheaper but I decided to make my own. I got romaine lettuce with roasted red peppers, chicken, cheddar cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette. The lettuce was kind of bland and didn't really taste that fresh. The red peppers and cheddar cheese were really good though as was the balsamic vinaigrette. Chicken was alright. I feel like the portion that they give you isn't that much and you can get a bigger bowl at another salad place for the same price. The workers making the salads were really nice though. Honestly had no idea what this place was, used to be a small pet grooming/supply store a while back, and assumed with the name "Baby Olive" it was some kind of kids clothing store... So glad i was wrong! Finally realized they served food when i was waiting at a red light on 14th avenue, went inside and was pleasantly surprised. Baby Olive is a health food store, specializing in salads and wraps, along with a frozen yogurt/smoothie stand. Been there a few times now, and it's by far the healthiest option in the immediate area! Staff is enthusiastic and seems eager to please, so far my favorite is the "Baby Nok" which is an Asian wrap. It includes baby shrimp, red onion, Asian noodles, lettuce, Mandarin oranges, cashews and sesame sauce. This wrap was fantastic! They seem to really keep to their health food stance, as the sesame sauce was light and they didn't over do it with the cashews. The overall size of the wrap was good, but inside was proportioned just right. Another good sign, you couldn't find any soda in the entire place! I went with a Montauk tea with goji and pomegranate which was basically unsweetened at 70 calories. Another wrap i've had was the "Baby Ashley" which is a bunch of fruit including pineapple and avocado, it was excellent also! Theres a bunch of options on the menu and you can also make your own concoction which i plan on eventually trying. These healthy guidelines are tough for a guy like me, but i found myself impressed with the fact that i knew i wasn't eating something bad and i still immensely enjoyed it. Baby Olive is another fine example of a business taking a chance, it's not in the ideal location but i'm sure the positive word of mouth will do wonders. You can really tell that the people working here want to please and provide a product THEY are proud of. The only thing i wish this place had was a dining area, They have a few seats but not a place you can take a date. Highly recommended for a healthy takeout option! Really 3.5 stars. So I thought I'd be writing an entirely bad review but the manager (Phil, I believe) really restored my faith a bit. So my friend and I ordered a salad and a wrap. Yes they are pricey for the salads but so is any other health food store so get over it, please. The negative this time was the wait. My friend lives 2 blocks away and orders often so she has vouched that they typically do NOT take long but this time there was a problem with the delivery guy. I placed my order and then about 25 minutes later got a call asking if the second part of my order was a salad or a wrap (which means they only started making it then.) I saw that almost an hour had gone by and no food, so I call and they said the guy already left and should be there soon. Again, we were 2 blocks away. Another 15 minutes pass, still nada. At this point I'm super angry, and late to work, so I call again this time expressing my frustration. The person puts the manager on the phone (very politely) and the manager apologized and rechecked the order very professionally and was genuinely upset that it was so late. He discounted the food fairly and mentioned not to tip the delivery guy, that they would cover it. We still did because we understand that things happen. So I grab the wrap and run to work. I get to work, open my wrap, and it's not exactly what I ordered. I ordered a whole wheat wrap with lettuce, chicken, mozzarella, mayo, and tomato. What I got was a wrap that was practically all lettuce (I will post a picture) with very little chicken, no cheese at all, cherry tomatoes instead of sliced, some sort of dressing which I specifically said not to put, no mayo, and the entire wrap was a bit soggy because it had been just chilling for a while. Upside, the wrap was still good. I was so hungry that anything would have been good but it was good, just not exactly right. So overall here it is: their food is good and the staff and manager are super friendly and professional BUT I know what small business is like and your employees are your everything. Bad employees = bad service = unhappy customers = not so good on the business end. Again, because I understand that sh*t happens, I will definitely be giving them another chance. They have a great thing going, just need to be a bit more on top of their staff and a bit more organized.
