Back with another Baya review! I ordered the Pacific Beach with Peanut Butter and the flavors deliver. The fruit was fresh! I only wished I got more acai but overall, my bowl was perfect. I ordered the larger size. There a lot of seating inside and they have large windows so it's a great place to enjoy your bowl if you have time. The staff worked quickly and I got this cute Baya Bag which I never got before. read more

To start of the staff here is very nice, helpful and pleasant. I got my usual the Berry smoothie with some extra almond butter which came out great. I've been to few other locations and each time all my smoothies are made delicious! This location is pretty spacious with plenty of seating to go around for everyone! They also offer many other items like Açaí Bowls, protein shakes, fresh juices and more! Next time I'm definitely trying one of their Açaí bowls which look amazing looking at all the photos posted here! read more

The 74th Street "Super Smoothie" was excellent. I was looking for organic açaí - Baya had it on their menu. The other ingredients were not listed as organic (except for the organic almond milk) - a bit of a disappointment. The flavor was a pleasant combination and it was very filling - it does contain peanut butter (allergy sufferers take note!). The smoothie was very satisfying - so much so I skipped lunch. read more

Baya Bar is my go to when I do laundry a block down on 4th. The staff is always kind and efficient. They answer any questions you may have about food allergies and/or ingredients. The "secret menu" has a selection of unique smoothie creations. My go to is the bavocado (avocado, banana, blueberry, honey, almond butter, almond milk). It's always creamy and fresh. The acai-u-later bowl is also delicious if you want to eat your lunch instead of drink it. I reccomend Baya bar for your healthy lunch needs week day or weekend! read more

Most acai bowls in other places tend to be kind of small and not very filling, but I was so pleasantly surprised with Baya Bar's. They're super filling and they never skimp on ingredients. Service is super quick too! read more

Wow Im not a big fan of acai bowls and I think I'm a changed man now. There's such a cool vibe here. The playlist is very chill. there's an open space feel. Service is very friendly and great. Baya bar has a good amount of options for acai bowls. I saw the Nutella one and the rest was history. Mine had strawberry, granola, coconut flakes, band bananas all topped with a generous dizzle of Nutella. Fruits tasted fresh and complimented each other very well. I cannot wait to try the smoothies they have there as well. read more

With the warm weather I was recently craving a smoothie. I stoped by Baya Bar to pick up their 74th Street smoothie which I ordered via their app. The smoothie was ready a few minutes after I came in and the gal who made my smoothie was really nice! The smoothie itself was one of the best protein powder smoothies I've had - I couldn't even taste the protein powder. It's a very cute inside, some seating and lots of natural light. Baya Bar park slope is also very close to the south end of prospect park making it a great place to stop by if you're in the area. read more

I'm officially done with this Baya location. I'll stick to the location on court street where they're friendly, WELCOMING, speak to their customer's and smile. My first issue with this location, I ordered a smoothie and expressed before ordering that I had allergies and to what I was allergic to. The man that took my order assured me I would be fine with the smoothie I purchased. Guess what ended up happening! I had an anaphylactic reaction & ended up in the hospital. Next issue, the Acai bowls are overly sweet and the smoothies can be as well. Third & final issue, I placed an order over the phone around 9:15am for 2 juices (brain power). The reason I do this is so when I arrive I can grab them and go because there's usually no parking. I arrived 20mins later to an empty Baya bar and 2 employees that looked very much annoyed especially the female employee. I walked in to no greeting which is fine because you can always greet your customers once you begin to take their order. I tell the young lady that clearly looks annoyed that I placed an order over the phone and as I'm doing so I noticed the ticket/receipt for my order still sitting attached to the receipt machine. She looks at me and says "Oh you have to wait" and then grabs the order receipt. Keep in mind it's not what you say, it's how you say it! I decided to wait for the juices instead of doing what I wanted to & leave. The male employee gives me my juices in a cup holder that was cut in half & not sturdy enough for the juices. They were shaking & if not held we're going to fall over. It was pointless & useless to give to a customer. His demeanor was also not the best. Just 2 people either annoyed with each other at work or they didn't want to be there. Either way it's safe to say I will not be returning to this location again. I'll pass on the attitudes & messed up smoothies. read more

The food here is delicious I love the 3rd Ave Acai bowl with fresh bananas and honey that adds a sweet taste. It is a healthy sweet treat that satisfies my cravings. The fresco avocado toast is another one of my favorites enhanced by the Everything Bagel seasoning. I've tried several smoothies and enjoyed them all. The prices are reasonable and I've always encountered friendly service. Highly recommend trying this place. read more

Everything at Bayabar tastes AMAZING!!! I can't get over their bowls and smoothies. Toasts are also crazy good!! Appreciate that everything's made fresh. The store interior's also lovely and has a lot of seating (+ good lighting as it's floor to ceiling windows). Highly recommend for when you want to hang with your friends or even work. Whoa. The price for a small iced coffee is stupid and has jumped considerably in the past few months. This used to be good affordable iced coffee, but it is too expensive now. There are so few people here already I don't know how they can afford to stay open in the neighborhood with how ridiculous these prices are. That being said the staff is wonderful. It's unfortunate that the higher ups have put the regular staff's jobs at risk for a few extra bucks in their pockets. I hope they pay their staff a living wage. Going forward, unless prices become more agreeable, I do not see myself coming back. read more

The environment is great when I went last Sunday, blessed with natural sunlight and it is nice place to escape the cold. I would recommend the place if you're looking for something sweet while trying to be on the more healthful side of things. Ordered the Baya blue smoothie while I don't like spending money on fast foods I thought it was fine cause I was eating fruit hahaha. Was horrible Overly sweet and not blended completely there were chunks in it and the straw wouldn't suck anything up honestly don't think there was almond butter in there tasted like 3 bananas sugar and not sure what else.
