I came here because I was in need of something to hold me up before I eat dinner later on. I'm familiar with the place but haven't been here for some years now and this place is quite popular in the community. They have a great variety of vitamins and minerals to add to your drinks. I ended up getting the protein drink and my girlfriend for the healthy body juice. The drinks are fairly priced and only have size large and extra large. My two drinks were $23. I have them a 4 star because for me appearance is everything and although the product is good they should have something nice to come to. Their sitting area however is closed due to Covid but for a place that's been in business for so long they should update the place just a little. I think this will attract more people here. The staff was pretty cool. All and all quality of the drinks were great so I'll be back. read more

Where to begin. I tried making my own smoothie - I wanted something really simple, with only 3 ingredients, and I was told this is not possible. So, I turned to their menu and wanted to substitute a fruit and was also denied this request. I ended up selecting something from their menu, and listed 4 items I wanted removed; and they were at least able to accommodate that. I have a pretty sensitive stomach and digestive issues so smoothies are a nice, light, easy option for me; the issue is their smoothies have almost 15 ingredients in them. For the average person, this may be great, but if you want a simple or customizable smoothie with 2 or 3 ingredients, it's not. I wish you could customize (I only wanted banana and protein powder) or at least swap an ingredient (take out one fruit and sub for another) instead. Lastly, I tried taking a photo of the menu to add to my review and I was quickly told I can't take pictures of the menu. I honestly don't get that - at all. read more

Smoothies are great. I have been going here for years. I stopped going for some time because I wish they would use Almond milk as opposed to Soy/Rice milk. I went recently and waited what seemed like forever for a smoothie. The owner has 1 person taking orders and making the drinks and then 1 person cleaning up behind her. While I feel like she hustled to make drinks quickly, it would be so much easier if they would get a cashier to just take orders. The owner is a weirdo. He sits in the back just observing. Scamma dem dehya!!! But seriously - I think I understand WHY they don't want people to take pictures of their menu; because it's absolutely wrong!! On the menu, it says you can order say for example the carrot, apple, spinach, or pineapple. First of all, the word "or" is a conjunction which links something together (are you smarter than a 3rd grader or nah?) Or gives you the option to swap out one for the other right ? WRONG!! My order came with celery- I saw that pineapple was offered so I asked for it after I had placed my order and paid. The lady goes onto tell me that if I want to swap out the celery for the pineapple it'll be an upcharge ALTHOUGH it was offered as one of the "or" options. That's like if you order a large chicken and it comes with either Mac n cheese or rice and then when you opt for the rice it's an upcharge ?! I don't think they understand what the word "or" means. After I told the lady that the menu is wrong she tried to explain that I can substitute but it'll be an upcharge. I asked her for my money back because the menu is misleading. She was very apologetic which I appreciated but I don't think she understood what I was saying. It needs to be stated on the menu that it'll be an upcharge if you opt for the "or" option. I paid almost $8 for the medium bc the small looked very small. I really tried to be supportive of the business but I can't get pass the grammatically errored menu- sorry The guy at the door tried to tell me Oo it's the same menu from 15 years ago and that's why it's like that. Three Stars prove that if you are clear on what your business offers and serve it with great customer service, you'll get consistent business in an arguably difficult location. There's no major transportation hub around here. Only the B46 bus for us public transportation enthusiasts. Or you could take a 20 minute walk from the train station. I love a good walk, and getting to this location will provide it. But once you're here, you can fuel up with protein smoothies, fruit and/or vegetable juices, and healthy add-ins to make it all worthwhile. Not everything is organic, but they specify on the menu what is. This place knows juice. There's even a chart for the right combination of veggies and fruits for most ailments if you're into holistic healing. And if you're into taste, they hit it right on the money. I love a richer, creamier-tasting smoothie. They offer yogurt, rice milk, or soy milk. I've gotten he rice milk both times, and I got that indulgent taste while loading up on different combinations of beets, strawberries, mangos, and carrots. There seems to be a male-dominated consumer base. I'm assuming they come for their famous Meals in a Glass, loaded with protein that works great after a workout for bulking up. Although I'm bot looking to pump up, I wanted to try because even those sound incredible. The Meal in a Glass option I had my eye on is made with oats, sea moss, and peanut butter. I was going to add cacao, too. On this particular visit, I decided to stick to simple and healthy. Beets, carrot, and ginger juices with rice milk turned out smooth and delicious. Been meaning to try this place out for a long time, so when I saw there was a Subway next door, I pulled right in the lot. We let someone go ahead of us because we were not sure what to try. There were no offers or suggestions. But the nice cashier told us what was in whatever we asked about. She turned to a mean-looking lady in the back to ask questions and got the mumbles and grumbles. Tip #1: Ordering is tricky, there are real menus (appeared in another customer's hand). I ordered a basic juice from the wall health chart selection. My bf went for the #17 cold, and I went for the #15 sinus. I was asked which of the two I wanted.... apparently there are two recipes for some ailments. I chose one with orange and kiwi. So we paid and tipped. Should have held on to the 30%, but who could predict the level of nonchalant, disrespectful service I would experience? 10 minute wait, our number is called and we have identical reddish brown cups! I asked what it was and the surly woman making juices said it's what she ordered (as if I'm not standing there). So I took a sip. And orange and kiwi it was not. It was the beet, carrot, cucumber! I confirmed by sipping his as well.... she must've make too much and decided to give me what she wanted, not what I ordered. By this time an orderly gentleman in all black with locs sitting in the lobby came up and asked me what I ordered. I told him and he said no problem, she'll make it with just kiwi and orange. Five more minutes I'm still sitting here waiting. Five more, I say to myself. Five minutes gone and I stand to see the rude woman making a smoothie! I was livid! Another employee had come in and began making the pressed juices and here comes the man in black filled with excuses. I kindly told him I was an avid juicer that makes juices at home, so I know the time involved in machine cleaning. Also let him know the tip should go to the cashier, because the rest of the visit was terrible. $20 for a small and medium juice (and tip), 20 minutes, regular juice not even cold pressed. Ran into this spot when I was at a neighboring location. I honestly thought the place was run down. But I kept looking through the window and realized it just has an older look from the outside. Inside was so spacious and clean and full of fresh fruit by the window. The cashier was very respectful and made a delicious drink. Had a seat and listened to music until the drink was ready. This is a cute spot. My mom and I came here a few weeks ago after a full day of running errands. She wanted something healthy, she said she always saw this spot and wanted to try it out. We both got smoothies (she added a shot of ginger for an additional cost). The smallest size is still big and very filling but the prices are a bit high. I guess it is worth it for the natural ingredients. Keep in mind there is at least a 5-10 minute wait time since the drinks are made to order. I stopped by the juice lounge today for the first time, a small casual place. I love me a good smoothie so I decided it wouldn't hurt to test it out. They have about 6 menus with names like "fruit smoothies" or "power drinks" & etc. After looking through it I settled upon one that sounded enticing- the Lady Love. It comes with Virgin Pina colada, pineapples, coconut flakes, oats, vanilla ice cream, and soy milk.... topped with whipped cream, a cherry, and caramel syrup. It is delicious! Yummy! I just left here and it was delicious. Sadly, I already forgot the drink name but it was "_____ mama". It had piña colada, nuts, oatmeal, rice milk, other fruits topped with caramel, whipped cream and a cherry. Soy milk is the other option. I forgot most of the ingredients just know it's great. It's rich without being heavy, creamy with a bit of oat texture and tasted like tropical flavored breakfast with a caramel hint. The large was $8 and good for 2 people. Keep in mind the drinks with thicker ingredients (oats, nuts, etc) are more filling. I am excited to try the meals in a glass and some of the fancy add-ins. Service was super friendly and professional. The wait time is a bit long but if you're trying to live the juice life anyways (hint: stop rushing and stressing!) just slow down, relax and wait a while. I finally decided on a smoothie that had a bunch of ingredients in it that I never see at other juice spots. It only was offered in a large size for $10 bucks which I thought was reasonable for how much was put in. It was delicious to say the least and filling enough to last me until dinner. I would have easily given this place 4 -5 stars but then... I'd been fiending for my favorite "meal in a glass" from there (can't remember the name) and I typically work during the hours they're open, but it happened to be the MLK holiday and I was off, so I thought I'd satisfy my craving. Since it was a holiday, I decide to call, check their facebook page and their website to see if they were open or closed. No voice message, fb update or anything on their website. Sigh. The place isn't particularly convenient to get to so I didn't waste my time going to check. Fast forward to Saturday, yay, I can get my drink :). So I drive over there (yes I drive but it's still not particularly convenient), get stuck in the longest car wash line ever trying to get in, only to find out that...yup, it's CLOSED...in the middle of the day on Saturday (2pm-ish). Something could have happened, maybe it was an emergency, or maybe they just didn't feel like coming to work. How hard is it to put that information on your website, or even easier...facebook page or leave it on the voicemail? The latter two would take a total of 2 minutes maybe. Nothing compared to the approximately 45 minutes I took out of my day between getting there, it being out of my way and being stuck in the car wash line. My time is valuable, and it would be nice to know that when I patronize a business, they respect that, which I now do not feel that they do. By the way, they are normally open on Saturday's, their hours are clearly stated (albeit inconsistent) on yelp, facebook and their website.
