For the many years I lived near Brooklyn Junction, I have never been to this place. It is located in the mini street on the back of the McDonalds on Nostrand and next to the Burger King. I was in need of a smoothie and this place popped up in the search right near the 2/5 Flatbush Avenue trainstation. The place is not small but definitely not for sitting and enjoying your options as there is no seating at all. There are the public chairs on Hillel place under the colorful umbrella installation in front but I would imagine it wouldn't be as popular in the winter. So I would categorize this as a place for students and workers to grab something quick. Overall they have many items on their menu in different categories. Poke, fried chicken bites and açaí bowls for eating. They have bubble tea, juices and smoothies. It is reflected on the many menus they have inside. However, it gets confusing due to the amount of menus plus all the revisions they make (tape covering no longer available items , and post its /marker to add new things to menu posters/screens).. not the worst but something to keep in mind. I ordered a medium Passion Jupiter smoothie (passionfruit and mango) & added yogurt as a base and flax seed. Without the yogurt it would be iced base. It was around 9 dollars which is fine because I have paid more for worse smoothies. They gave me the overflow of the smoothie that couldn't fit in my medium cup which was nice of them. Overall the smoothie was well mixed and I was happy because I don't usually get passionfruit as a smoothies. I would go back here for smoothies for sure and maybe to try the açaí bowls. read more

Ive been to many states and no ones bubble tea is as great as Jupioca, everytime I visit BK i look forward to it

Ordered Acai Bowl and was very unimpressed. First, it was kind of expensive; almost $15 for a small. Second, I paid for extra granola and there was barely any granola at all. The Acai mix was horrible. The taste was not what I was used to with any other juice bar. The lady at the register was rude. No hospitality what so ever. No greeting when you enter. It's a small shop on flatbush and Nostrand. I was extremely excited when I first saw this them open because I'm am addicted to bubble tea ! I saw their options and the choices were endless! They even had smoothies (even though I never brought one, it's probably good). I always buy their special bubble tea with "butterfly pea". It's kinda pricey than average bubble tea, and I'm not sure if its worth it anymore lol. However, I still do for the support of the store! Now they sell fruit bowls and pokè bowls too! I think this place have one or the best açaí bowls I've tried. Portion is good for the price and it's well proportioned. Great selection as well. Their smoothies are really good too It's a small space so expect to be waiting awhile as it gets crowded. Hopefully they'll open more spots in Brooklyn. Definitely a must try guys ! Love this place! First discovered it when I took a summer course at Brooklyn College a couple years ago. Since then I've been to a couple locations around the city. I've tried various smoothies, juices, milk & green bubble teas, and their wheatgrass shots. The coconut milk tea and the rose green tea are two of my favorites. The Kale Pina Covado smoothie is a great choice. So are the Metabolic Supercharge, American Eagle, and Mix Berry Bomb smoothies on the special Green Smoothies menu. They give physical loyalty cards that get stamped with each regular item purchased. The card is a nice nostalgic touch to getting rewarded and they never forget to ask you for your card in order to stamp it. So my kid and I are connoisseurs of bubble tea. We ran into this place near Brookltn College and were so happy that a good quality place was near our local haunts. 1/2 a block from the Flatbush train station, Jupica's bright cheerful colors, and different variety drinks entice us every time. They have loyalty card and we're about 3 away from a free drink. I always get the volcano- a fruity mix of delicious that is supposedly good for energy and such. My go to spot for smoothies everyday . I usually do my run/walk in the afternoons and stop by after to get my meal. They offer a cool reward program where the 7th drink is free. If you're not here for a smoothie then you can get a cool fruit drink, juice, or bowl. My fav is the spicy chicken and shrimp bowl. Flavors perfectly blend together. I must admit that Brookyln has a lot to offer when it comes to health drinks. But I'm glad to see one as interesting as "Jupioca." When I walked in I was surprised they had pink chairs. I thought "that's different." But it didn't stop me from going in. It was like I was forced in by someone that I was with that wanted me to try the place. No names, she will remain anonymous. I loved the prices and the selections they offered in the place. The staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable on the smoothies. I was ready to get my usual Banana Strawberry Smoothie when I was told "no, I want you to try something new!" So I willingly, for the sake of trying, got something different. I might add that I'm very adventurous when it comes to new things, I am in no way saying I was forced to try something new (wink, wink). When my Pineapples, Strawberry, Kiwi Smoothie was ready, I sipped it immediately. I must say it was good. I enjoyed it a lot. Pros: Location, location, location - It's easily accessible and within walking distance from Brooklyn College and Target. Clean, airy store - Big plus in my book. Cons: Small / Understaffed - If you come when all of the college kids are on break there's no telling how long you'll wait for your Smoothie. With at least 15 people in the store all waiting for their drinks this location should consider hiring at least one, maybe two more people. Flimsy cups- this is the main reason I deducted a star. The cups are like super weak plastic. If you squeeze too hard your smoothie with spill from the top (this happened to me). I didn't feel too secure walking with my smoothie. When I saw a Bubble tea spot on my way from class I was like BISH WHET? I really love this place and am overdue for a Yelp review (I come here a few times a week). After trying to eat mostly all (at the very least, more) raw fruits and vegetables, this place has become a local spot I visit often. Here are the PROs: 1. The produce always tastes and looks fresh. For example, the avocado has never been served underripe and the berries are never sour. 2. There is a huge variety of juices and it's easy to get generous servings of fruits AND vegetables because they don't add fillers to juices and smoothies. 3. They don't add sugar to their juices and smoothies! 4. You can get the bubble tea with no sugar, too. 5. The tapioca pearls aren't super sweet like other places offering bubble tea nearby. 6. The acai bowls are amazing! I never thought I'd enjoy so many things that are good for me in one bowl. When it comes to the "seasonal fruit" added on top, they are always super generous at this location... they'll add a lot of banana, mango, pineapple, strawberries, avocado... they overfill the bowl. 7. They've never hassled me over switching ingredients, or when I want to add kale to anything (except tea) I order. 8. For fresh squeezed juice and acai bowls, they have THE best prices in the area - and you get more ingredients. It's pretty similar to Vivi if you're familiar with that place. Difference is they offer smoothies and juices as well. Only smoothie I tried was the avocado and kale one. It's really good. I should try more of their smoothies but bring the boba addict that I am, I venture there . One thing I realized after trying all three is that the tiramisu, cappuccino and macchiato all taste the same. I'm pretty certain they use the exact same recipe and call it different names. I like this place but my issue is I showed up at 9:30 a.m. this morning and they weren't open. Their hours say 9 a.m. C'mon. That is so disappointing. I ended up giving my money to Starbucks because I drove over here just to get a green juice and unfortunately, the gate was down and no one was around. You gotta open on time to serve your customers and on the real, you need to open earlier especially since school is back in session. Open at 8:30. In terms of the quality of their drinks, it's definitely good. I would give 5 stars but the 3 stars are for inconsistency with opening and closing. Get that money. People want to give you their money early in the morning, don't deny yourself profit by opening late. I wouldn't consider the bubble tea "amazing" but since there's no other place in the junction to get bubble tea, and in this place it tastes pretty decent, I'll take it. I prefer the peach green tea. The juices taste pretty good too and I like that it's really fresh. But, the only problems I have here are the wait time and the prices. First, the line is usually pretty long, I have to wait 10 minutes and then another 7 for them to make my drink and that's not even when it's crowded; they definitely need to hire more staff. Second, they charge 6 bucks for a blended carrot that will supposedly cure my acne. Like....come on. Also, some of the drinks here have pretty awkward names. I mean, I like the drink itself but it's just weird to order them sometimes. "Hi could I get the" *whispers under breath* "sex drive."
