The only other customers were a large family enjoying a nice brunch, but the sweet lady behind the counter happily took my order and set me up at a nearby table. I rolled with the pollo asado torta, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how fresh and high quality it was. Freshly grilled chicken, creamy avocado, plenty of cheese...it was super flavorful, and didn't need much beside a little hot sauce to set it off right. She also included a small order of fries on the side, and it was exactly what I needed. Unfortunately, I'm sure I'll be back at Urban Air soon enough, but I'll happily sneak out for more snacks at C-Xique again anytime.

You order your food at the front counter, and while we waited, the owner surprised us with a complimentary almond croissant since it was our first visit. It was absolutely delicious -- flaky, fresh, and easily one of the best almond croissants I've ever had. The menu has a great variety of options. We went with the steak and eggs and buttermilk street pancakes. The steak was tender and full of flavor, the home fries were seasoned perfectly, and the pancakes were fluffy and delicious.
