The extremely attentive waiter understood his menu so well and even how each meal was prepared. The truffle cornbread was an excellent starter, prepared by their baker who now has his own bakery called Masa Madre in Queens. Next time. My wife decided on the chicken mole, which was comparable to the last time she had it in Mexico City. Excellent preparation and a very large portion. I chose the shrimp fajitas which were typical in appearance and flavor except for one thing. I'm not sure how they exactly prepared their peppers that accompanied the shrimp fajitas (the waiter mentioned that they cook it alongside the meat which added more flavor), but all I can tell you is that the sweetness of those peppers was so incredibly rich and accented the entire dish so wonderfully. We discovered that De Mole in Brooklyn was doing their bottomless food + drinks brunch on Monday because it was a holiday so we made reservations and pulled on up! Here's how it went. Atmosphere/Appearance: Out in Williamsburg on the corner of Roebling and Hope Street lies this gem. Naturally, there's no private parking so good luck finding a place on the street or a nearby structure to put your fly ride. The restaurant was very welcoming and felt traditional with lots of tasteful Mexican theming. It was brunch of course so it was certainly a party inside, but it wasn't too loud. You could definitely still talk to one-another. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but with the speed of which everything was coming out, we were pleasantly satisfied. We had no complaints at all. Food: So their brunch is bottomless everything. It includes both food AND drink. There are literally 12 different alcoholic beverages you can choose from and rotate between throughout your 2-hour time limit. I stuck to mimosas and margaritas. I was delightfully turnt. Lol. There are 20 different tapas to choose from as a part of your brunch and there's something for everybody! We had shrimp ceviche, strawberry dulce cake, multiple kinds of tacos, Spanish corn, just so much. Everything was good, but nothing was outstanding. I didn't expect that, but for it to be bottomless, the food came out hot, fresh and tasty. Period. I loved this concept. Value: If you want bottomless food it'll be $59.00 for 2-hours of fresh plates. If you want to add drinks then it'll be an extra $10.00 more. $69.00 for all you can eat and drink is a little steep, but it was totally worth it! i have never been so impressed by service at a restaurant - the service here is TRULY an art form!!! both my servers were such COOL people, they timed all the check-ins PERFECTLY, came by right when we needed more drink/food each time without interrupting conversation. call it a coincidence or just PURE skill!!! i did the bottomless food + drink package for $69 on a sunday afternoon around 1pm. it wasn't crowded at all but i was told that it's usually busier. I never leave reviews but this restaurant is the most deserving one. I could give so many praises, I don't even know where to start. I came to Brooklyn with some friends to celebrate my birthday and ended up here for their bottomless brunch on Sunday. We were between this restaurant and another one and were SO HAPPY we chose this one. There was a mixup with our reservation but they were so accommodating and friendly. I've never felt more welcome in a restaurant, the staff was genuinely so happy to have us there. The restaurant was decorated so cute and festive it felt perfect for my birthday celebration. Our server Lauren was hands down one of the best servers I've ever had. She was super knowledgeable and curated our entire dining experience. Instead of picking our own dishes, she sent out courses of all their best dishes. She sent out some dishes that I honestly wouldn't have thought to order but I'm so glad she did because they were all AMAZING. There wasn't a single dish that we did not enjoy I only wish we didn't get so full before getting to try everything! Okay, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had...maybe ever? First off, restaurant is so cute. I think this was my third time trying this spot and the waiter literally remembered me. The menu is so eclectic. There were so many options to choose from and many were not just the basic Mexican-fare. My date arrived and we ordered. I had the enchiladas mole. This was AMAZING! The rich notes of the mole with some sweet hints was amazing. Very filling but not heavy. The guacamole was also well made and enjoyable. But amazing food aside, the star of the experience is the waitstaff. They made sure our needs were met, and not being pushy or overbearing. When I lived in Sunnyside and Woodside, Queens de Mole was my absolute fav Mexican restaurant. I was so excited to hear they were expanding to Brooklyn. I ordered delivery to Brooklyn Heights the other day and had the most delightful and delicious lunch. It's just as tasty as I remember. I got the tuna ceviche which comes with homemade tortilla chips - so refreshing and perfectly balanced, yum!! The carnitas tacos came with fresh limes and green and red (spicy) salsa which added a nice kick. Tamarind water and a small guac sealed the deal. I can't wait to visit this location in person. My only wish is that they would add my old fav dish to this location - Tinga de Puebla - seriously crave worthy, probably the best Mexican dish I've eaten in NYC. Came with a party of 7 on a Friday with a reservation, we were seated right away outdoors. It was a little cold but we didn't mind. Half of us did restaurant week ($60 for 3 dishes + dessert) and others just ordered from the menu. Free chips and salsa which is always a nice touch. Restaurant week food was good - obviously much smaller portions but tasty and made fresh. The regular food items were also delicious! Shrimp quesadilla was my favorite. The drinks were strong and we had a good time. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart + gave us free tequila shots at the end of the night for a birthday celebration. The only issues we had was waiting for the food, we know the restaurant is putting in time to make food fresh for us, but we were waiting for an hour in between the restaurant week dishes and for the regular entrees. We ended up staying at the restaurant for about 3 hours - which is just a bit too long and at the end we were all itching to leave. On top of that, there was a cake cutting fee (which I think is very ridiculous especially if you're bringing the cake there and with such a large party). But regardless over the phone, I was quoted $7 and instead they charged $9. Not a big deal but was still unnecessary in my opinion. read more

Stopped here recently after running some nearby errands -- arrived hungry and at an off hour to discover it was happy hour, which featured some amazing deals--my girlfriend and I each had 3 tacos for 10 (al pastor, grilled steak) which we split, as well as tasty $10 margaritas.  Tacos were tiny busy tasty, and obviously a pretty good bargain. The drinks were excellent and so strong (and the rest of the menu so inviting) that we segued off happy hour menu, and were rewarded for this buzzed decision. The Abuela's Remedy (chamomile mezcal, ginger, lemon juice), and their amazing Beet Negroni were exceptional cocktails. We also had a really nice, tart ceviche, the Ceviche de Veracruz--Mahi-mahi in fresh lime juice with white onion, tomato, jalapeno, avocado, cucumber, cilantro and olive oil. Super fresh and flavorful with a hint of spicy kick... just perfect. I kind of wish we had skipped the tacos and just splurged on the whole menu--and will likely come back and do just that. AYCE Brunch, say no more! 2 hours of all you can eat and drink - tapas style, we were in brunch heaven. We were immediately greeted with a very warm welcome and seated right away. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had an indoor and fully enclosed "patio", which was where we sat and fully enjoyed the ambiance. Our server explained how the bottomless brunch worked and said if there's anything we want more of or want to try to just let them know. They were very accommodating to food allergies, we had gluten free and pescatarian items made easily. They started bringing out small plates of food, tapas style. Some highlights that we really liked: - Ceviche was very flavorful and fresh, although we were surprised that this wasn't served with chips. - Carnitas Hash - the pork was tender and really good. The green tomatillo sauce with the poached egg was on point. - The chilaquiles with the verde sauce was so delicious! - Huevos Rancheros was good, but the sunny side egg was too runny of egg whites. This would have been better if it was served with an over easy egg. - Fish Chicharron was bomb, but for some reason I thought this was going to be different from what it was. It was just like a piece of fried fish like what you get with fish & chips. - De Mole Benedict was fire. All of their meats and sauces were so flavorful, fresh, and delicious! We got to taste most of the brunch menu! It's a lot of food, definitely worth the price. You're surprised to see how much you can eat and drink in 2 hours. All of the food was really good! The drinks are bottomless too, you can choose from mimosas, beers, margaritas, bellinis, and sangria. All were really super tasty and I always had a drink in hand. Very kid friendly and their bottomless brunch is only $15. All food is served together like family style, making it easy for kids to eat as well. Last seating is at 3pm, be sure to make reservations as space is limited! Overall, such a fun brunch experience! I highly recommend it if you're in the area. The service was amazing! The server offer a course of 4 meals for only $65. We start ordering one course and server says no you missed understood me is 4 each for only $65. So we go ahead and order 8. When we get our course we only get two at a time. The time between the courses took for ever. At the end of check out we were charge $160 for 8different small portions of food that was not even the side of an appetizer. The plates were literally one bite it was horrible. We were expecting at least portion the size of an appetizer. The food was good, but not worth the price. The service was okay. The waiting time was long between courses and also at check out. Definitely look out for extra charges or miss understandings if you go here. I do not recommend the 4 course meal for $65. FYI food portions look like more on pictures than in reality. read more

De Mole is definitely a fun spot in Williamsburg that shouldn't be overlooked. You can recognize the location from the outside easily with it's red exterior and limited eating. Walking in, I love the vibrancy and how they had really great music to vibe with. The service was attentive and we felt taken care of. Overall, I'd say the food was good for how much they have on the menu, the quality, and the taste. There are plenty of vegetarian/vegan options for those that can't eat meat/seafood and solid ones for those that can. The menu is so large that they can forget to bring out some of the foods, but overall there's so many choices that we didn't mind. I chose to mahi mahi ceviche and shrimp fajitas. I wish I had gotten a photo of the ceviche - it was one of the best I've ever had. Perfectly balanced, not too acidic, and really fresh tasting fish. This is was delicious, light, and I could've easily enjoyed a second! Order this! The shrimp fajitas were just ok. The shrimps were a little small and it was mostly veg, but I always enjoy the opportunity to build my own little taco. Next time I'd opt for the fish tacos! The best Mexican food I've had in Brooklyn -EVER! I had the family-style brunch, which allowed my guest and me to sample the full brunch menu. It was a lot of food but well worth it.
