Brunch in Brooklyn! This restaurant was recommended to us by someone who my bestie met (happens to be the owner brother). What a TREAT! Service exceptional and our food very very good! I tell you this is what I miss being back home 'eating absolutely GOOD'! If you're in the neighborhood please go!

We enjoyed our lunch here. Lots of choice and both dishes we had were nice. The frittata was different to the usual ones I see at brunch, served in a thick wedge. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a nice restaurant inside and the staff were friendly and attentive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed our lunch here. Lots of choice and both dishes we had were nice. Cane for brunch with some friends on a Sunday. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute and quaint inside - nice and dimly lit vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We all had the eggs Benedict. I got mine with lox and was surprised when it came out with both ham and lox, never had that before! It was solid. The Benedict sauce was pretty salty. Potatoes could've been crispier. Service was good.

The onion rings were so fresh and crispy! The steak and broccoli rabe were mouth watering. My boyfriend enjoyed his burger and fries as well, great spot!

This place is such a little gem. Food and service were great. For starters we had the Brussel sprouts and shrimp. The Brussel sprouts were delicious, Shrimp was good but didn't care for all the onion on the bottom. I had the steak frites and my steak was delicious and seasoned well. The presentation and portions were great as well. I recommend and would definitely go back.

This is such a neighborhood gem! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I've been twice, once in the patio and once in the cozy indoors, and have loved both.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] One of the best burgers I've had in the city - such a big patty, great cheese, and sautéed onions. So so good. The hangar steak was also delicious and well-priced, and the lamb burger was so good. French fries were meh, burrata was good but a little too citrusy for me! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I absolutely love this place, and is great for a nice evening or a rainy one where you need cozy vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Super kind staff. I'll be back!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for a relaxed dinner or weekend brunch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]i haven't been here in a while n glad I tried again. Did is still amazing b

Popped in here one night unexpected . Steak ,Crabcake and mussels all well done! Def recommend

Kale Salad

Salmon was cooked well. All the sides complemented the fish and balanced the flavor. Grilled hanger steak was well seasoned and cooked to preference. Went really well with the broccoli rabe and red wine beef reduction. Onion rings were light and crispy. French onion soup was decent. The shaved Brussels sprouts and kale salad was my least favorite; it needed more -- maybe some mandarin and walnuts or something. Service wasn't the best but not too terrible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance was cozy and laid back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Espresso martini and cucumber fix

The service here was gracious, even on a Friday night when the place was alive and humming. Things moved a little slower, but the wait was softened with a basket. I went for the Sweetwater burger w/ sub sweet potato fries and an espresso martini--both solid choices. My friends tried a lentil burger (a hit!!) and onion rings, which were ok; the crab cake, and cucumber fix drink seemed fresh and summery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]All in all, a lively spot with good vibes and satisfying plates.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Come prepared for a bit of a wait if it's packed, but know that bread and good company will tide you over nicely :)) loved the outdoor seating, floral.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Came here for dinner with some friends and overall this place was a good spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was a nice comfy cozy spot and was decorated well for the holidays.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I started with the French onion soup which was average. Wasn't upset by it, but wouldn't get it again. For my entree is got the fish of the day which was a delicious seared bass. The bass was cooked perfectly and was juicy and was paired with a nice lemon butter sauce. It came with a beet puree which gave the dish a nice sweet balance. The service was fast and left feeling very full and happy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, the place wasn't bad, but was not super impressionable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you are in the area it would be a cute place to have a holiday catch up with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Lamb - burger With Tzatziki The soggiest fries I've ever been served in my life
Ari A.

The staff was great and wanted to keep us there all night long. The location is lovely and I'd definitely be down to come for a night out of drinks instead of dinner. We ordered the fish, burger & lamb burger. The fries on the two burgers looks like when you and I microwave up leftover fries. We all know Fries don't come home with you because they're impossible to make crispy outside the restaurant. Clearly Sweetwater never mastered the crispiness since these were the limpest fries I've seen in my entire life. My lamb burger also tasted a bit off, and I wished the burgers were served on real buns instead of a Thomas English Muffin. Please save those for your breakfast sandwiches, no one wants them with their dinner. My friend enjoyed his Fish, so it seems like they have some good dishes on the menu.

Is outdoor seating heated?

The tables out front on the sidewalk have heaters, not sure abt the back patio

Is this a good spot for a wedding rehearsal dinner?

Depends on how many people! It's a cute quaint place, so if the party is large just rent out the entire place for the evening. But amazing food, so the answer is YES!

It ended up being a nice spot for a casual catch-up, though with a few mixed impressions. The space itself is cute and very much feels like a neighborhood bar. One of the things we liked most was that they have games available--we ended up playing Scrabble while waiting for our friend to arrive, which made the time go by quickly and added to the relaxed vibe. Happy hour prices are solid, and the fried pickles we shared were decent. I also had a watermelon cocktail that was refreshing and perfectly fine, if not particularly memorable. Service was a bit inconsistent. The bartender wasn't very warm or welcoming to us initially, though that changed once our friend--who is a regular--arrived. Overall, it's a comfortable spot to meet friends and hang out for a few hours, especially on a weekday like Thursday. That said, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to return, but I can see why it works well as a local neighborhood hang.

There are some pros and cons about this place, but it was pretty neat overall!…read more Came here with friends (group of 4) on a Saturday night, so we paid the $10 cover. Which is fine in my opinion because they have live jazz and I love that. I also love a bar with an activity outside of just drinking. Some pros: so many games and pool tables and live jazz and decent beer Some cons: not many seats, long waits for the pool/ping pong/foosball tables on a weekend, loud (not a place to get to know someone I'd say) Overall it's definitely ~cool~. The crowd looked to be a lot of NYU students/20somethjngs in tech or whatever living their best city life. Not the vibe for all, but definitely the vibe for some.

The whole concept is…read morebuilt around keeping your hands busy: pool tables, ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball, chess, checkers, even some old-school arcade cabinets scattered through a sprawling underground space. It's actually a legacy spot in disguise. This basement used to house Fat Cat, a longtime West Village institution that shut down right before the pandemic, and before that the room itself was a bowling alley, tucked into a 1932 Art Deco building a few steps from Stonewall. Drink selection isn't the draw here, don't come expecting a deep cocktail list. Crowd skews heavily undergrad, and the place is loud, so it's not the spot for an intimate one-on-one or a real group conversation. It's built for a different kind of hang: elbow your way to a table, keep your hands busy, let the noise do the rest. There's also live jazz most nights, which adds a nice layer if you catch it at the right time. Neat place, just know what you're walking into.

As for food, there were some true hits but most of the food was good but basic. The highlights for me were the wild mushrooms & rice cakes as well as the Caesar salad - loved the use of nori in the salad and would definitely come back for the mushrooms. The chicken cutlet and chicken dumplings were fine but I probably wouldn't order them again. The wait staff weren't super attentive nor super warm, but they were efficient when we asked for water refills, etc. There was ample standing room at the bar while we waited for our friends, but the table/booth that we sat at was super narrow, I was knocking knees with my friend all night and generally felt squished.
