My boyfriend and I came here for a light bite and drinks. We got the mozzarella sticks and to drink I got a frozen marg and he got an old fashioned. We loved it! Those mozzarella sticks were probably the best I've ever had, they were very thick. The ambiance was nice, we enjoyed sitting outside in the shade. Overall a great experience! read more

Pubs aren't known for good food so perhaps I shouldn't beat them up too much. -The tater tots were overcooked to the point of being crunchy -Jalapeños popper's weren't that good -And the blackened chicken sandwich was cold. Solid spot near the ferry. We got the buffalo cauliflower, which was fantastic. Also the Negroni (maybe could have been slightly sweeter, but still good) and the frose (like a very berry smoothie with wine). PLEASE DONT EVER ORDER FOOD FROM ELDER GREEN!! THEY ARE RUDE AND YOUR ORDER WILL BE WRONG!! The kitchen staff can Not read. wish I can give them less then 1 star. I have order from here twice and they got my order wrong both times. I called and them and they didn't even offer to help he said I'm the bartender there's nothing I can I do about it the Kitchen messed. Up I asked for a manger he said the manager never came to work today so they don't have manager then he hung up the phone on me. If you are looking for a place to sit outside with friends and have a drink, this is a good option. I came here on Saturday at 4 pm and waited about 10 min for a seat. Pros: - lots of outdoor seating - service was nice - food came quickly The food was the only part that underwhelmed. We got the crispy Brussels, the beyond burger, and the Mac and cheese. None were bad, just none were that great - the Brussels were slightly undercooked and the burger was a bit underwhelming for being $19. Poor quality of food, and very very over priced. If you're a boomer and have no palette I bet this is the place for you! (The man next to me sent his food back too) (3's Brewing) The place across the street is practically half the price and has a better ambiance! Check them out, and get more for your buck. Their tots and pickle chips are I bought a burger from Elder Greene and it was 22 dollars and the smallest impossible burger. I took the chance and it wasn't even cooked all the way.... I asked to make it 'in n' out styled' and was told that they wouldn't do it. I was told I couldn't sit anywhere but the bar or a table inbetween a crowd. Even though there were 3 tables in the back that were open. The fries tasted stale and old. Do better Elder Green. Lower your wack prices and humble yourself. read more

My wife and I had our weddings after party here. We really wanted somewhere that was in our neighborhood that we frequently went to. The Elder Greene crew crushed it! They handled the massive amount of guests perfectly, no one waited long for a drink, all the cocktails were delicious, all the food came out quickly and we had a great time. 10/10 recommend! read more

Four stars for their outdoor dining set up. One of the best spots for casual drinks outdoors in Greenpoint. This was one of the few places where I was actually too warm in my puffer jacket after being seated there. They have 2 heaters per table which I think is the key, and you can even control the heat setting (1-3) at your table. I appreciated that the door was left wide open so there was still sufficient airflow (and not just an outdoor greenhouse). The hot toddy I got was a bit too strong for my tastes, but I heard rave reviews for their frozen drinks from the table next to us. The tater tots were nice - nothing to write home about but exactly what you'd want out of tater tots. read more

Plenty of outdoor seating. Social distancing is enforced, staff wearing gloves and mask. You order at the front door and they will bring your food and drinks to your table. This is a great place to order beer on tap and other drinks. The downfall is food. If you want to enjoy bar food this is a subpar place considering the neighborhood. We ordered the burger and fries which was ok. The burger has a nice sauce with pickles. The side of fries is mediocre. Do not order the the chicken poppers. It was such a disappointment. one of the best places in greenpoint! My friends and I got the frozen frosé, which was excellent! Their lemonade was splendid. Someone ordered the frozen margarita and was not a fan, I tried it. Also did not enjoy. We ordered popcorn chicken, a chicken sandwich, broccolini, and a vegetable medley. We all loved our food, it was absolutely delicious!! I stop by after finding this place on Yelp, during COVID-19 for take-out. Had sandwiches, wings, and frozen drinks to go. The wait for the food didn't take more than 15-20minutes or less. The food was filling and I honestly couldn't finish it all. The Frosé I had was really good, I'd definitely come back for more! read more

Good food, lovely decor but..... Sadly, the lone server is absimal. Her lack of attention is below standards & also the management of this establishment is to blame. Being short staff is no excuse to ignore the customer & even less have an attitude when asked to do the most basic tasks. The establishment was not full & it's the second time dealing with this particular server which lacks the concept of being a server. Unfortunately this reason, I dont recommend this place. With a little bit of consideration to the customer it can be average & it only can be achieved when the customer is thought of. read more

We had a private event at Elder Greene on a Friday night for a "Welcome Event" for our wedding weekend. Tali was amazing in the lead up to our event answering all of our questions. The Elder Greene team was great on the day of, quickly serving drinks and constantly bringing out plates of food. The mozzarella sticks were such a hit, definitely add those to your order. The space was really nice, with ample room inside and then lots of additional space outside. We can't recommend having a private event at Elder Greene enough!! read more

With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.

The bartenders were nice and the margaritas were pretty good. Considering it's a speakeasy, I would say it's pretty spacious with a few booths and table, but would recommend you go there early if you want to be there with a large group. They allow birthday cakes from outside as well.

I love when the menu has the glass type next to it. The drinks are incredible.

The crudo blue fin tuna was very fresh and flavorful, the sourdough ricotta is a must, so soft (both the ricotta and the bread) and so delicious, the seared scallop expensive for one scallop but wow, one of the best scallops I've ever tried, and the octopus, perfectly charred but a smaller portion that I thought. We sat at the bar, the place is gorgeous and the service was great.
