This was one of our end of night weekend stops. The server at the front of house was helpful in getting us in. This place was really empty on a Thursday night and it was refreshing. Service was quick and cocktails were good. The decore and music were on point.

Nestled in the back of Lacey Burger behind the photobooth is the chic cocktail bar Ra-Ra Rhino. Decor definitely reminiscent of the NYC speakeasy vibe and of course has the bar's signature bright pink Rhino! Because I was there earlier in the evening, it wasn't super crowded and I was able to chat with the bartender and learn more about the bar's history. I came for happy hour, which features $10 cocktails along with a few other options. Of course, I had to get my favorite drink (espresso martini). It was expertly crafted (shoutout to Amir!!) and would absolutely get it again. While Ra Ra Rhino doesn't serve food, you can order food from the burger joint in the front and eat it in the bar. What could be better than a well-crafted cocktail paired with a burger and fries???

Thursday vibes. Dining next door and asked for a good late night bar. They were recommended and it was cool because it was a hidden bar in the back of a burger joint. We sat at the bar while the DJ played the most amazing r and b music. The drinks are really good and the bartender chatted with us all night and kept the drinks flowing. The rhino in the middle of the floor blows smoke every hour allowing for a cool pic/video. Biahwick has another great gem of a bar.

This place is so cute. I came here for happy hour and sat at the bar. Me and a friend order drinks from the bartender. The martinis were good and I got the dirty on the side. The vibe is very backdoor speakeasy even a lil dark and the music wasn't bad either. After a few drink we went and had dinner next door at Monkey King. But we came back for the main attraction...DONUTS!! So they have a good selection just don't go so late like we did some if the options were sold out. However, the donuts we did have were delicious: Alscapone Peaches n' Cream cinnamon roll Classic chocolate with sprinkles A+ do recommend

Ra Ra Rhino is a speakeasy cocktail bar with a vibrant tropical vibe, hidden inside Dromedary Doughnuts. From the moment you step in, the ambiance pulls you in. it's cozy and intimate, making it the perfect spot for a chill night out. We found this gem thanks to a recommendation from Munzi at The Monkey King, where we had an amazing meal and excellent service beforehand. Ra Ra Rhino is hidden. Don't miss the small bites you'll notice when you first walk in; they're featured with tasty hamburgers The vibe was on point from the start, with the DJ spinning an eclectic mix of Afrobeats, techno, R&B, and pop. We were lucky to visit on what seemed like a quieter night, so the energy felt low pressure. The decor is cool with a huge pink rhino centerpiece stealing the show. The walls are packed with eclectic artwork and bold wallpaper that compliments the lowkey but bold feel. The drinks were elegant, leaning toward creative mixology. A fun touch was the server placing a dry-ice panda on our table that added an unexpected flair to our experience. Service was attentive and friendly, enhancing the vibe. Bonus points for being an LGBTQ+ friendly space! Plus, there's a photo booth nearby where you can capture a fun memento of your visit.

Ra Ra Rhino is a speakeasy cocktail / tiki bar that awaits you behind the Photo Booth within Dromedary Doughnuts. Ra Ra Rhino's makes well- prepared / delicious cocktails. Ra Ra Rhino is located In the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. Ra Ra Rhino's has a cool & laid-back vibe. We enjoyed this nice lounge space as part of Mother's Day 2024 Festivities. We came during Happy Hour, which is from 5pm-7pm & enjoy $10 cocktails that were on the HH Menu. These included the following: Lychicletta Crushable Margarita Fabulous Toki Highball Sazerac A Daquiri Of Course Having been the Ra Ra Rhino other times, the Lychicletta (St. Germain, Luxardo Bitter, Noilly Pratt, Martini Blanco, & Lychee) is one of my favorites. On Mother's Day, along w/ the Lychicletta, we had The " A Daiquiri Of Course" cocktail & the Crushable Margarita - both were pretty good. Staff are always friendly & attentive. Great Music - Pop, R& B, Hip-Hop,etc. plays in the background. Ra Ra Rhino's lighting, the beautiful Rhino Statue blowing smoke & the lounge-style seating, along w/ the quaint bar, add to Ra Ra Rhino's chic ambiance. Instagram - @rararhinonyc Open Tues. - Sun. - 5pm - 2am One can also order from their snack menu.

Small space but it was a great time. Get there early if you want seating. The bartenders were cool and helpful. The music wasn't overly loud and the ppl that we interacted with were cool and friendly. We didn't eat because we just came from dinner. But we had a really good time.

Cute spot recommended by the bartender at monkey king. I love a speakeasy so it was a cool entry way from a burger spot through a photo booth into the bar. It's cozy and dim lit with a mixed crowd. They played like top 40's and I ordered a drink but it wasn't on the menu, it was okay. We didn't stay long just for a drink after dinner but it's a chill, lowkey spot.

Overall rating: 4.8 I'm not sure why I thought a speakeasy in Bushwick would be an affordable price my friends and I walked by this place a few times a bit lost which is a first for me. Super cute & intimate speakeasy. Would love to come back to try food options. Staff was nice!

Spacious and beautiful speakeasy in bushwick!

I happened to stumble upon this speakeasy prior to dining at The Monkey King next-door, and it was the best surprise. I had no idea this place existed and I already can't wait to return. The spacious and beautifully appointed cocktail bar is located behind a photo booth curtain at a donut shop. I got lucky with a table for two with no reservations, but I can see this place filling up very quickly. We only stayed for a few drinks, and didn't get to try the food but the menu, while small had really interesting small plates. The cocktails were fun, inventive, and delicious. Cannot wait to return!

However, I was quickly proven wrong. Not only was the service topnotch, but the drinks were surprisingly delicious and refreshing. There's a ton of options which is also surprising considering the tap only format. Upon further reflection of how tiny the bar is, it makes sense why they would go this route. It would be challenging for one person let alone two to be behind that bar shaking and stirring. I also heard there's a back area with more seating but we didn't explore much further than the front bar stool seating. Seems like a cool spot for happy hour or late night drinks and I would definitely return!

We were lucky to grab 2 seats at the bar as the rest of the seating actually seemed a bit cramped and uninviting. They advertise a heated back patio but I don't think the heat was on and no one was there, which is a bummer. Regardless, the theme is nice with everything attributable to their "laboratory" ambience. Everything is served in beakers or similar glasses. It can get a bit crowded sitting at the bar as that's where everyone orders drinks but otherwise this was quite enjoyable. Will definitely keep on the list for HH.

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.
