Every cocktail I had was delicious. I got there when they opened at 5pm and a few people walked in the first hour. Then i around 630/7p it started to get busy and definitely loud at 8pm. I had the passion fruit cosmo, hibiscus cosmo and gentlemen's buck - all were delicious! $16 a drink and you have to order at the bar. There is AC but not blasting. So it will take you a minute to get cool. The music was amazing, lots of old school hip hop. Got harder to talk as the night went on because it got louder with the music or people talking. read more

As a whole, Buschwick still has margins of neighborhoods that are quite unassuming. This restaurant is representative of that. Environment The environment didn't leave much to be desired. The music selection was quite exceptional and there was ample seating when I arrived in the late evening. If you're a lover of either bar or booth seating you'll find both of your desires will be met. SIPS I settled on the Passionfruit Spritz which was both refreshing and packed a small punch. If in need of a more spirit forward or herbal option there were plenty of other options in their menu. Overall, Palmetto was a delightful experience. This bar is cute! Drinks were good. I love the booths. We went on a Friday and it was moderately busy. The bathroom door lock was broken. I ended up walking on the girl ahead of me. And then someone did the same to me. Gives the impression of being locked. They should fix that. Honestly other than that, no complains. Cute cocktail bar! I typically don't go out for drinks outside my neighborhood but came on a Friday evening. It was pretty crowded around 11 but within the half hour it cleared out considerably. The drinks here are unique and not too expensive. I opted for a dirty martini (gin) and it was rather large. Couldnt even finish it all myself but perhaps that's because I'm not a seasoned martini drinker. I will say that the music here is VERY loud. Was practically yelling across the table so if you're trying to have an actual conversation maybe opt to sit at the bar. Aside from that I wasn't a huge fan of the bathrooms, just expected them to be nicer but they felt divey even though its a cocktail bar. read more

Lovely, cozy place! It just has a nice, relaxing vibe to it, which makes it perfect for some after-work drinks. They check your ID and vaccine cards before service, so keep that in mind. Been here twice and so far have only sampled a couple of selections from the wine list. Need to try their cocktails soon. read more

Overall rating: 4.8 Super cute spot, but soo far from me. I clearly don't live in Bushwick, but I'd totally be back for a date drink before the House of Yes. It's all bad here. I will never to back. The service was awful and the staff was rude. I went recently and got a couple cocktails with my husband. They were so watered down and overpriced. Their "snacks" are comically overpriced (even for NYC) standards. If you want cheese and crackers out of a box for $18, this is the place for you. Don't go. Just don't. read more

Cool cocktail bar. Lots of stools at the bar. Handful of half circle booths across the bar and a nook with some small tables in the back. Lovely atmosphere. Great spot for a intimate night out. I had a beer - only bottles and cans available - while my wife had a cocktail. Both happy with our drinks. We arrived during half hour and they had some complimentary snacks. Super cute new bar on the corner of Knickerbocker and Hart Street! There's plenty of banquet seating as well as a long bar to fit all of your friends. We went twice in their opening weekend and really loved the Mediterranean vibe. They have a long list of cocktails for around $14 each, wines from around $12-$17, and a small beer list (bottles and cans). There is also a small list of bar snacks, including marinated olives, crackers and cheese, etc. The servers were super friendly and happy to help with recommendations. We tried several wines, including the rose, a sparkling white, and a sparkling red. A couple of friends tried the absinthe cocktail, which tasted extremely heavy of licorice (not my favorite). I highly recommend the KENTUCKY FOG. this place is a little Casablanca right in the heart of bushwick. The music is a perfect mix of old and new I was actually able to have a conversation while enjoying a real cocktail. Awesome wine and beer list. read more

It is really unfair to see this place go down with all the other sad spots in the neighborhood. I have been going here since May 2020 & supporting it by going in & telling my industry family about it. Tonight was the Worst service ever- we understand you are busy but there is no need to be rude, condescending, literally pushing customers out the door because you all cannot handle volume, hospitality & a level of decency when it comes to making cocktails. The ambience was so warm and inviting. Loved the various flowers and art. There was a dj spinning old school records. Just loud enough to appreciate a tune but not overpowering the conversations I was having. The service was great, friendly but not overbearing and the specialty cocktails were amazing!! Amazing ambience and eclectic wine selection. Came here to catch up with a friend and did not want to leave! Grab a booth, settle in and order a bottle or two! Palmetto is a fun, grown-up feeling cocktail bar located on Knickerbocker Ave. I was excited to stop by to explore their wine selection, but was also impressed by the cocktail list. It wasn't super busy for a Friday night, but still had a nice vibe and decent turn over as the night went on. The booths are lush and large, big enough for a group--and there is ample bar seating and a few tables tucked away in the back. They offer small bites/snacks but I didn't indulge during my visit. Palmetto is a bit pricey and definitely feels very post gentrification but the drinks are great. Wine list was substantial and they had orange wine too. Cheese and crackers was a bit off and I would have liked 2 different cheeses instead of just more fruit and nuts. read more

Beautiful restaurant. I came in for an after dinner drink and stayed for a second. Hip crowd but plenty of room at the bar. I ordered a Penicillin and the drink was perfect. The music was cool. The ambience was chill as was the AC set at the perfect temp for a sweaty July evening in NY. Clearly the owners have an impeccable sense of design as every detail was on point. Super cute bar that opened right before the pandemic. Wish we could sit inside, but they have plenty of outdoor/sidewalk seating! Ordered a Milk Maid and an orange wine, and both were exceptional. I asked the server for recommendations - the menu is great for sharing and trying lots of different dishes, but I didn't want to overwhelm myself with too many calories. She was a gem and suggested: Eggplant Pkhali - I really love this vegan dip of eggplant, walnuts, roasted onion, garlic, coriander, pomegranate molasses, cilantro and pomegranate. It comes with fresh bread, that is crunchy outside and pillowy soft inside. It's perfection, refreshing, toothsome, and vegan! Khinkali - beef and pork soup dumplings were well folded, savory, and soupy on the inside. Red currant mocktails - pretty and refreshing! They also have an extensive wine, beer, and cocktail menu. I have also been here for lunch and had a number of other dips and salads and loved what I got. Chama Mama is great for a date or friends. I believe they will rent out the full restaurant for events. The vibe feels upscale yet simple, and everything is delicious. Prices are in the teens for appetizers and $30+ per entree. Recommend.

We had dinner late, but it worked and we didn't mind the wait going around the neighborhood and having a few drinks. Let's get to the important stuff. We got several small dishes to try more variety. The crudo blue fin tuna was very fresh and flavorful, the sourdough ricotta is a must, so soft (both the ricotta and the bread) and so delicious, the seared scallop expensive for one scallop but wow, one of the best scallops I've ever tried, and the octopus, perfectly charred but a smaller portion that I thought. We sat at the bar, the place is gorgeous and the service was great.
