As a whole, Buschwick still has margins of neighborhoods that are quite unassuming. This restaurant is representative of that. Environment The environment didn't leave much to be desired. The music selection was quite exceptional and there was ample seating when I arrived in the late evening. If you're a lover of either bar or booth seating you'll find both of your desires will be met. SIPS I settled on the Passionfruit Spritz which was both refreshing and packed a small punch. If in need of a more spirit forward or herbal option there were plenty of other options in their menu. Overall, Palmetto was a delightful experience. This bar is cute! Drinks were good. I love the booths. We went on a Friday and it was moderately busy. The bathroom door lock was broken. I ended up walking on the girl ahead of me. And then someone did the same to me. Gives the impression of being locked. They should fix that. Honestly other than that, no complains. Cute cocktail bar! I typically don't go out for drinks outside my neighborhood but came on a Friday evening. It was pretty crowded around 11 but within the half hour it cleared out considerably. The drinks here are unique and not too expensive. I opted for a dirty martini (gin) and it was rather large. Couldnt even finish it all myself but perhaps that's because I'm not a seasoned martini drinker. I will say that the music here is VERY loud. Was practically yelling across the table so if you're trying to have an actual conversation maybe opt to sit at the bar. Aside from that I wasn't a huge fan of the bathrooms, just expected them to be nicer but they felt divey even though its a cocktail bar. read more

Lovely, cozy place! It just has a nice, relaxing vibe to it, which makes it perfect for some after-work drinks. They check your ID and vaccine cards before service, so keep that in mind. Super cute new bar on the corner of Knickerbocker and Hart Street! There's plenty of banquet seating as well as a long bar to fit all of your friends. We went twice in their opening weekend and really loved the Mediterranean vibe. They have a long list of cocktails for around $14 each, wines from around $12-$17, and a small beer list (bottles and cans). There is also a small list of bar snacks, including marinated olives, crackers and cheese, etc. The servers were super friendly and happy to help with recommendations. We tried several wines, including the rose, a sparkling white, and a sparkling red. A couple of friends tried the absinthe cocktail, which tasted extremely heavy of licorice (not my favorite). Palmetto is a fun, grown-up feeling cocktail bar located on Knickerbocker Ave. I was excited to stop by to explore their wine selection, but was also impressed by the cocktail list. The booths are lush and large, big enough for a group--and there is ample bar seating and a few tables tucked away in the back. They offer small bites/snacks but I didn't indulge during my visit. Super cute bar that opened right before the pandemic. Wish we could sit inside, but they have plenty of outdoor/sidewalk seating! Ordered a Milk Maid and an orange wine, and both were exceptional.
