This is a review for both Please Tell Me as well as Mane, a Brazilian pop-up that's taken up a residency here for the foreseeable future. Given the culinary focus, I began my evening with a cachaça caipirinha, which was a strong and tasty start to the meal. We shared a number of small bites, including the queijo coalho, pao de queijo (of course), and the corn ribs. The pao de queijo was my favorite - the pao were not too chewy and came served with a decadent side of butter. I would skip the corn ribs next time, while visually appealing there wasn't much to note here. The bar itself was pretty quiet on a weeknight and was giving me mid-2010s Mood Ring energy. I think it gets pretty popping here on the weekends.

Have you ever gone somewhere and wanted to return as soon as you left? That's how I feel about Please Tell Me. Home of the OG NY wine window, the vibes were immaculate in this establishment. We were welcomed with the best playlist for a Sunday afternoon and like we were having a meal at a friend's house. And then there was the food. Every dish was better than the next. We had the grilled cheese, which was served on skewers, the potatoes, which were two types of French fries and pieces of hot dog with two sauces and the kale, which is a must order. And then there was the wine window. Why doesn't every restaurant have one?! I can't wait to go back.

Please tell me has amazing food. The spot is cute and cozy not too big just enough for a small party and decent drinks not the strongest but they're still good. The photo is amazing. I love their hamburger. I was craving it for a whole entire week I had to go back and get some more. The kale salad is amazing. It has a Nice crisp to it with the sauce that they put together delicious. The wings were good to go on a Wednesday day a dollar get to save a lot. The street corn is really good too. Unfortunately, I only got pictures of the street coin instead of the rest of the food cause I was busting it down. The waiter, who was there I was so sweet. He's hilarious. Very kind hearted and I appreciate the service. Thank you.

Visited Please Tell Me for the first time this evening for a filmmaker mixer event and the vibes were absolutely stellar! Delicious drinks across the board, great music, intimate/cozy interior, and tons more. Asia, one of the servers/hostesses, was an absolute star and made everyone feel so welcome. Will definitely be back!

I'm tempted to rate this place lower to gatekeep it.... but for real, I love this bar. The space is definitely on the smaller side, which makes it more intimate for sure. Good drink prices, nice owner, amazing music, super poc friendly--I don't think there's anything else I could ask for. I can't wait to come back when it's warmer and there's outdoor seating.

A cute and fun bar with delicious bites and drinks conveniently located in Williamsburg near the subway. I love how it is decorated inside and outside. (I was excited to finally see the lovely wine window in person!) Party of 3 people on a Friday around 7. There is indoor and outdoor seating. When we arrived the earlier crowd was finishing up so we were able to get a corner table inside before they started filling up again. By the time we left the DJ had started and a lot of people were steadily coming in. Please Tell Me was apparently inspired by classic Japanese listening rooms. There are weekly "Winyl" (wine + vinyl) parties that feature discounted glasses of wine. Per the Instagram page they also have some fun DJ nights other nights, plus I noticed that there was a brunch event this weekend. (PS I love that there is actual vinyl and turntables.) They are probably best known on social media for the wine window that pays homage to the Buchette del vino of Florence, Italy. We had a lot of fun posing at the window! You can order and receive wine through the window, and then enjoy the wine on Please Tell Me's patio or take it to go. (Note that takeout alcohol requires Ordering food per NYS law.) Zae was working the bar that night and took our orders for food and drinks, and helped us decide on wine. Their cocktails look amazing but I had already been set to have one of their natural wines that night. Due to the popularity of Winyl Wednesdays they didn't have any rosé that night, so instead we each had the delicious Podrum Franjo Croatia 'Rudi' Sauvignon Blanc. For food we shared: The Brisk Stand Burger - amazing! 2 of us rarely order burgers but were told this was phenomenal and it definitely was! Watermelon Salad with feta cheese - delicious and refreshing El Rey (full charcuterie offerings) - we couldn't decide which to order so figured may as well sample the full set! This went really well with the white wine on a warm day. I can't wait to come back to try the cocktails next, and definitely hope to make it here for Winyl Wednesdays.

Please tell me is the next big thing! The vibe curated here really is home grown and a true neighborhood feel. The service and people running the spot were so nice, and the drinks are great as well. Will definitely be making this one of my Williamsburg hang outs!

Please tell Me has an incredible atmosphere. It's very welcoming, meeting people here feels so natural. Cocktails are the best in the neighborhood and the food is delicious. But the best part about it is the music. The selection of hip hop, rap, afrobeats, dancehall is highly curated. you can't find this music played this consistently anywhere in New York City. And the sound system is A1.

The Highlights: * Polpo (Octopus): This was the standout for me. The octopus was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of saltiness and it paired beautifully with the creamy potatoes underneath. A very well-balanced dish. * Salad: Sometimes simple is best. The greens were incredibly fresh and the dressing was light and balanced--not overpowering at all. * Classic Tomato Spaghetti: You can always judge an Italian place by its red sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, staying true to the traditional Italian style. It was simple, fresh and deeply satisfying. * Chicken Dish: The chicken was surprisingly tender and juicy. It's often a basic choice but they executed it perfectly here. Overall: Naked Dog offers a cozy atmosphere with food that feels both elevated and comforting. Whether you're a fan of seafood or classic pasta, you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be coming back!

Bouquet is a small business that hasn't promoted much on Instagram or Eater, so it seems to have gone under the radar. I'm hoping I can do it justice as the first reviewer on this platform. We stumbled upon Bouquet during a mini bar crawl in Greenpoint. We initially planned to hit a few spots, but ended up settling in here for most of the night. We were mostly served by Eric who I believe was the owner operator. He's a NYC native who is super passionate about wine. The wine bar focuses on natural wines and other wines which emphasize minimal additives. The goal here seems to be to sell from producers who try to capture magic in a bottle. The wine list is three pages, so it's long but still approachable. There are about ten wines available by the glass. I started with a Montelpuciano. I sampled a bit and found it to be gassy and funky. The bartender was receptive to my feedback and made another recommendation - a different wine from the Loire Valley. The second option was more of what I was looking for. It was a more structured wine with a more traditional palate. I decided to eventually circle back to the Montelpuciano for my second glass. I'm stubborn and like to give a different flavors a chance to grow on me. I'm a person who doesn't like blue cheese but continually tries it just to make sure. The aroma of this wine was minerally. The best description I have is an Iron adjacent smell. Almost like blood but not the same. The flavor was earthy and rooty. It was the best part of the wine. It had a short finish. I'm no wine expert, but I can tell I was tasting something special. The last time I had wine like this was at a wine making competition. I also tried some of the wine on draft. It was an easy going wine that you could easily have a few of. We didn't have any food, but it seemed like the signature of the menu was their smash burgers. They also had some small bites like fries, cheese, olives, charcuterie, and salads. The other big items were schnitzel and the Rigatoni Alla Vino. The operator said the Rigatoni was an ode to a dish from Don Peppe's - a locals' favorite Italian restaurant in Queens. The space is welcoming. It part of the new wave of wine bars that aren't stuffy. It's about trying fun and experimental wines. Young stuff. Not necessarily hawking out for carefully aged vintages. It's fun and the team is very hospitable. Music is what I'd expect from a Queens local. Lots of 90s and 2000s hip hop. Playlist was filled with A Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli, and Common. They have some big speakers and turntables for vinyl records. They had a new record from Future which I suppose is something to boost for audiophiles. Acoustics here were as good as any listening lounge that we've been to in NYC. Entertainment wise, they have some board games behind the bar. No TVs inside the bar, but they have a projector in the backyard which can be used for special events. Two gender neutral restrooms. The one I used was handicap accessible. There is a step to enter the establishment, but they have a button to press in order to request assistance with entry. Good luck to Bouquet! They'll certainly be my go to for wine in Greenpoint.
