One of my favorite memories of the last year was sitting at this bar with my friends as a DJ mixed Blueface's Bussdown with Vanessa Carlton's A Thousand Miles. Not sure the DJ knew just how much remixing these two disparate songs would resonate with my group but boy did it HIT. Do they even have the same BPM? It simultaneously confused and delighted us, and I wish the whole bar would've erupted into dance but we had fun in our little corner. I'm not one for neon signs, but the fact that they have just the word "Lust" in neon instead of a corny phrase makes it feel tasteful, and it just goes with the pink theme they have elsewhere in the narrow space. They have a backyard but there's not much in the way of space inside, which is unfortunate because the DJ really made us want to dance. This is really one of the coolest bars around. Why? The owner is a very smart Woman. Lot's of interesting nights planned throughout the week example fetish/model drawing nights. Women in cool outfits sit or stand on the stage on a Monday night and the creative crowd draws what they see. I have to add that Yes I've ventured there on a Monday night when some of my friends were the models. Creative crowd excellent vibes.. If that's not enough Tuesday brings in Burlesque. What a show on that stage and such amazing performances it's no wonder why this place draws some of the Coolest People around.. Got various drinks to try out the menu and was a big fan of the big electric chair, tasted very much like a spicy margarita. The reason for the low review is the lack of service, even as our friends sat at the bar. And then the bartender kind of "pushed" our individual bills back after we signed saying that it was mandatory for a 20% tip for parties of 4 or more. There was no small text or disclaimer that said that, either on the check or website. I am not opposed to 20% for drinks, if the service is great (similar to food). I tip $2 per drink which I think is already pretty generous compared to some others. Service was terrible and the either "inaccurate" or snarky attitude that 20% tip is required was not the vibe. read more

The first was to use my benefit from the Tippler program and enjoyed the Big Electric Chair (I did hear that this is the most popular drink here), other time I did try another drink that I can't think of at this unholy late hour just I happen to be still awake. Editor's note, it was Kinky Cowgirl, I had two of them and enjoyed it alot. During my visits, I did get to come here once on a Monday and once on a Sunday to see the burlesque. Jingle bells, cat o' nine tails Sketching like art school I came on a quiet wintery Monday night and was rewarded with bendable BDSM bodies, cute collars & curves, sassy sexy stretches, and poised poses... the fetish figure drawing session was set up like a traditional drawing class and they offered art supplies for those who don't have any or came on a whim. What I enjoyed most about the drawing was the variety of textures... I never thought about how many different materials come into play with kinky equipment (pun intended!) The bar tender was delightful, flexible, and accommodating. To be honest, the exterior and decor felt a bit overwhelming like maybe I had to be young, fit, sexy, and edgy to enter but that's NOT the vibe at all. It was an inclusive space (sadly, except for folks with mobility issues, it's a typical nyc bar with narrow spaces to navigate and lots of stairs.) I look forward to coming back again with more art supplies next time! I used my journal notebook and some old Crayola markers and no one was pretentious or weird about art skills (or lack thereof!) It's a great time and the fetish figure drawing is free but the bar does charge a 2 drink minimum (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) ranging from $16 cocktails to $6 sodas. read more

The cocktails were incredible, and a few dollars off during happy hour! There is a back deck area as well so you can enjoy your drinks outdoors during the warmer months. Really fun bar. The bartender was attentive and cordial which is always a good start. As the name probably indicated, the aesthetics? You guessed it, pink but in bright neon format. While it is a LGBTQIA bar, that has nothing to do with the aesthetics I think. The artwork were on the more provocative side which I think works very well for the space. They have a backyard area that has a few tables as well as the tables you see when you enter the bar. For those who prefer bar seating, those are available as well. They seem to have different themes for different nights. Sundays are burlesque night. Very fun because it is a decent sized crowd for now. They could get a bigger crowd in the near future. The dances happen on the stage area right before you reach the backyard but primarily the dances happen on top of the bar like Coyote Ugly. The music was really good before and during the show. The drink - Berlin Mistress - I don't know what ingredient makes this drink German but it was sure as hell tasty. The shochu was well masked within the flavors of the yuzu and matcha. What does that mean? This is a dangerous drink if you are a light weight. Fortunately, I am not but ask me after I drink 4 of these. Haha. I would make a suggestion and say that this drink probably should be called Kyoto Mistress. I dig this place. FAN. read more

I've passed by this place countless of times and always wanted to go in. Finally I got to try it thanks to getting the Tippler passport book. The place lives up to its name. It has ALL the pink. Its a nice small and cozy place with a backyard area. Unfortunately thr backyard was taken up by one party of about 10 people so I ended up sitting at the bar. No problem because easier access to the bartenders and they had good music. The tippler allowed me to get any cocktail so table drinks ordered were the Big Electric chair (tequila, bergamot, honey, blue curacao, jalepeno, lemon) and Doesn 2 Clown (Mezcal, Aperol, dry curacao, ginger, lemon, red wine float). Both drinks were delicious. one sweeter and one more smokey and bitter because of the mezcal and aperol. I didn't interact much with the staff as they were chatting with a different group but that was fine. The art work is pretty, Comic outlines of women. Overall great simple spot. read more

The pink flowers and riding crop behind the bar are further indication this is a fun place. They have amazing cocktails and great shows throughout the week. This place just opened in the hood and it is awesome. First class craft cocktails. My favorite is the Big Electric Chair. Female owned and operated. The staff is awesome and welcoming. They also do a lot of great live entertainment. I caught an amazing burlesque show before the quarantine. This is definitely my new favorite bar in East Williamsburg, and I'm so sad it's taken me this long to check it out! The space is super small, but really cute inside. Everything is neon pink, with tons of flowers, and there's also a very cozy backyard. I loved the high-femme aesthetic. We went for a weekend brunch and had a great time. You can order food from a QR code on the table (separate from the drinks). The menu is small (just burgers, philly cheesesteaks, and fries), but there are vegetarian and vegan options. They have a great cocktail list that's really reasonably priced, and a happy hour until 8pm on top of that. I went for the Din After Dark, which had gin, elderflower, lemon, and butterfly pea. My friends and I all got tickets on eventbrite for the fetish figure drawing every Monday. It was our first time and we were thrilled. We all traveled over 50 min to the bar to attend, except once we got there (early btw!) we found out it was cancelled! No where on the bar/fetish figure drawing instagram page mentioned it was off tonight; in fact we got a reminder about the event emailed to us! While we could look past it, we overheard the bartender mention something along the lines of "yeah id rather them come in, and I can tell them in person, and maybe they buy a drink." This felt very disrespectful. We are all busy adults, so to not only be negligent in informing patrons about a cancelled event, but to also make this kind of comment made the lack of communication seem intentional. We were severely disappointed in this bar. Lots of other queer spaces to support that are mindful and considerate of their customers. read more

Everything is in this dreamy shade of neon pink, it's a very upbeat and popping spot, popular among young bar-goers who live close by. Also they made really cute cocktails which are decently priced, and deff not watered down. Pink Metal is located right next to Post no Bills. They also have a super cute backyard space. I've chilled with several of the bartenders there, all super nice people and very friendly. 100% recommend this bar! Je ne sais quoi New Years Eve this year was challenging for many people , myself included. All of my potential dates had tested positive or were afraid to go out, I got it. I however was not going to spend another New Year's Eve at home. After evaluating my health history with COID and Vaccine status I was confident it was safe for me and others. I Googled " burlesque" and came up with the Pink Metal NYE Party about five minutes from my apartment. Done. First and foremost I can not articulate how incredible the hostess was! Stunningly beautiful woman with a red dress and a split down the side, she was one of those people who is special but confident enough to make guests feel special. Whoever decided that she should be at the front door setting a great tone and creating a festive, open atmosphere was spot on! Keep in mind the entire staff was working on NYE amidst the chaos. The bartenders mad cool people! One bartender came over and said thank you for coming out. Thank you for having me! Came here last weekend to grab a quick drink before dinner, and the cute theme intrigued us. The indoor bar is super cute, and the bartenders we're very sweet and inviting. We chose to sit on the back patio, where the walls were painted pink and the overhead trellis was intertwined with vines&crystals. THE VIBES. My Partner got a (bright blue!) spicy margarita type of deal and I got some lovely version of a gin drink. Both were delicious, strong, but not too strong. I could've drank at least 2 more if we didn't need to make our reservations and were ready to get smashed and finish the night sleeping on the subway. I also felt as though their prices were very reasonable, especially for the area. Average $12 per craft cocktail is great. It was pretty empty when we arrived, but seemed to be getting full by the time we left. Pink Metal is a vibe -- inclusive, vibrant, and a lot of fun. This is a relatively new bar that looks like it'll make waves. I haven't been to a bar like this one before but I'm really into what it has to offer from the well-made drinks to the shows/performances. I'm a huge fan of the Din After Dark and Down 2 Clown cocktails. All the bartenders very friendly and provide great service. Cool ambiance with amazing design details from the mural to all the neon.
