I was visiting from London and had only one store on my list: Buck Mason. I'd heard their quality was unmatched. So I was disappointed to learn that the Brooklyn store didn't carry the women's line, and I didn't have time to get into Manhattan. I knew exactly what I wanted, the classic boxy tee, and Isaiah and the entire team stepped in and made it happen. They literally sent someone to the Manhattan store to pick up my order and had it back in Brooklyn that same afternoon. I'll forever sing Buck Mason's praises and will be a customer for life. Thanks for making my first experience with BM a memorable one. And, that team has insane style to top it off. Every single person in there was dressed to the nines. Keep it up boys!

Their clothes are well-made and in appealing slate and earthy tones that can go with anything, upscale casual. Prices are not absurd. Highly recommend. They tried their best during covid (they were one of the first stores in the neighborhood to close, thereby protecting both their employees and their customers before a lot of other stores did the same) but re-opened with this rather silly idea of having customers touch and try on clothes wearing tiny fragile ripped plastic gloves, which was...literally impossible. If you were put off by this, they are not doing it anymore!

As a customer turned friend, I've been coming here for years, sometimes just to step in and absorb the calm, grounded energy that both the space and Kai naturally offer. Mun, another designer whose work is carried in the store, is often there on weekends, and it's always a joy to see them both. What they share is a deep commitment to making--truly living the artist's way. Everything is created with intention: slow, authentic, and uncompromising. The designs feel timeless, with a sensitivity to materials that makes each piece something you can live in and return to for years. This past weekend, I stopped by during a spontaneous stroll. Kai and Mun welcomed me so warmly, pulling pieces they could imagine me in--it felt like playing dress-up with old friends. I left with a beautiful Japanese-collar jacket, generously gifted by Kai, and I'll likely be back soon for a shirt I fell in love with that day. Thank you, Kai, for continuing to carry forward the art of craft.

Had spent a lot of time on their website before coming in. But I was so weirded out by the two people working there today and how unfriendly/unhelpful they seemed - it was if they were bothered I was there. I spent 10 minutes in the store and they never said a word to me, not even a response to my "hello". They then followed me around the store, readjusting the hung clothes after I looked at them. It was just a real odd vibe. I'll probably give them another chance, but only when I'm in the neighborhood. Was disappointed because I trekked across town solely to visit this store and pick something up

It made me feel like a kid again. Standing in there I just felt that grit energy that saddly NYC has lost. The owner sprinkled the shop with art and trickets that have their own stories and reminded me of my childhood. I only know this since I tried to buy 4 different items but they weren't for sale because they were sentimental reasons. Though I was sad I couldn't aquire some of these things, the stories he provided filled that need to own it. This spot is a controlled chaos in all the best ways. It has the New York City flavor to its core that would be missed by non-natives. All and all, respect to this shop on every level. I dropped $150 without a second thought after buying alot of stuff because these are shops I want to support. It's passion over profit (in a realistic mindset). Thank you!

I received an email from FedEx confirming delivery on a Wednesday that included a photo of the package. The package was laying on a bare stone floor in a building lobby. Unfortunately the building in the photo is not mine. My building has a 24 hour/7 day doorman that receives all packages, logs them into a database that alerts the residents. My building lobby also is completely carpeted. There are no bare floors in our lobby as shown in the picture. I called Faherty the same day at (877) 745-8994. There is a recording that loops over and over stating all agents are busy helping others and simply directs callers to use the chat feature on the website. The chat feature simply asks you for your email and advises you that an agent will be in touch shortly.  I continued to call multiple times, hoping to reach an agent but no one ever picks up, regardless of of the time I called.  I spoke to a FedEx rep who stated that due to the type of Fedex service Faherty uses, she cannot assist me. She states that I cannot submit a claim on my own behalf, despite having a photo the clearly shows the package was not left in my building. She advised me that I need to notify Faherty immediately, or at least within 24 hours so they could submit an expedited claim and have the driver investigate. It is now 48 hours, multiple calls, chats with a useless AI bot, and I have not been contacted yet. To have a company that cannot provide adequate, or in Fahertys' case, any customer service at all, is ludicrous.  My recommendation to Faherty: Your customer service is nonexistent. Customers that visit your store and customers that visit your website deserve customer service. When customers seek help, forcing them to communicate with an AI chat bot that cannot assist  is not helpful. It only causes frustration. Hire live people to address customer concerns. At this point, I'm so disgusted by Fahertys' lack of response that I don't even want the dress anymore. What if something is wrong with it? Then I will have another hassle trying to reach people in customer service that don't exist. I will be contacting my bank for a chargeback.
