Supreme sandwich was very bland and dry. Not much of the pickled veggies either which tends to give it the juice/crisp. They were extremely Generous on the amount of pork though! And the bread was Great. It was Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. genmai rooibos with signature cream with tapioca - tapioca is not chewy. Ended up tossing the tapioca. Drink itself was eh. Cream wasn't like the typical foam layer on top. Tasted more like sweetened steamed milk mixed with tea.

I love supporting local businesses, and Tea & Milk has been an excellent addition to Bay Ridge. Their banh mis are delicious and I love that they make an effort to offer halal options to cater to the local taste. Personally, I prefer their cold cuts ($12) version but their BBQ pork ($13) is a close second for me. I will say the banh mis do take some time to prepare so I would suggest setting aside at least 10 minutes or to order ahead if you're running short on time. Tea & Milk also makes excellent bubble tea with location specific specials too. The Bay Ridge ($6.75) is a mango lassi-inspired concoction made with mangos, dahi yogurt, and milk. It's creamy and sweet, a real sweet treat when the mood strikes. I also love their Astoria ($6.75) which is made with passionfruit and rose peach tea. The cafe space is long and narrow, but very cozy and inviting. They have board games available, free WiFi, and outlets. Definitely a great spot for a neighborhood hang!

Tea and Milk at this location is in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. Having had Tea and Milk here for the last 2 years (Congrats on your 2 Year-Anniversary) has been great to locally enjoy their Boba, Milk, Tea Beverages as well as their Banh Mi sandwiches. Tea and Milk continues to be spacious enough w/ tables & stool- style seating. They have added a couch in the front when you walk into the establishment. There are also games such a board ganes, etc. that patrons can play while they are enjoying their Tea and Milk treats. Although I always want to try a new drink, I revert back to getting the "Happy Drink" because it is created w/ multiple fruit flavors. During my most recent visit, I went to Tea and Milk to redeem for my birthday drink. Well, I got the "Hapoy Drink" of course & it had Passionfruit, & Mango along w/ Aloe Chunks. It is definitely a refreshing, sweet, & overall delicious tea. Staff are always kind, patient & helpful. During the recent visit, I was able to try their Sweet Purple Rice, which is a new addition in terms of toppings that one can select to add into their Tea. It was good. teaandmilk.com @teaandmilkny

Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Came across this Bay Ridge Boba gem from a previous event and had to return! This time it was for a fruit tea and an egg tart. 5/5 Not disappointed @ all! I had the strawberry lychee green tea. The strawberry had a great flavor, had it with boba and did light ice. Loved the way the lychee and green tea was complimented with the fruit. Would recommend!! Egg tart was DELICIOUS! The pastry was fluffy and crispy. Lots of crumbs so be prepared. GOOD crumbs though so be even more prepared to have your taste buds delighted! Next time I'm having sandwiches !! They also had an event going on, A sip and paint! How much fun is that !!?? 2 thumbs up for a great boba shop in Bay Ridge and would definitely recommend. Brooklyn did it again

Tea and Milk has great Viet banh mi. I usually get their lemongrass chicken banh mi. The staffs are always friendly and kind. The service is also pretty quick. The shop is similar to a narrow hall and it's so cozy with plenty of seatings. My favorite drink is their taro milk tea. They don't make it with the taro milk tea with powders, but instead is used with fresh taro! It is delicious!

Having just celebrated their 1st anniversary here in Bay Ridge, it's long past time for me to review Tea and Milk. When you first walk in you're greeted with a cute greenery setting with neon lights that would seem ideal for taking pictures of your drinks after you get them. There's also a bookcase full of boardgames that I have yet to explore but definitely should. There's also a poster for Kobe Bryant's Mamba Mentality, but being from Chicago I'm more of a Jordan guy. Kobe is a solid choice, though. Every employee that I've interacted with this past year has been extremely kind and helpful. It's impressive that they've put together such a complete team of warm, welcoming individuals. For drinks they have a variety of drink options ranging from more fruit filled mixes to coffee and matcha mixes, and creamier drinks featuring ingredients like taro. Everything is freshly prepared in-house, and you'll often see deliveries of fresh produce being brought in throughout the day. The add-in options for the drinks include boba, herbal jelly, tapioca pearls, and aloe vera chunks. They also serve hot coffee, but if you're coming here you're probably here for the other drinks. For food they have four options for banh mi. They offer the classic cold cut, BBQ pork, lemongrass chicken, and the supreme which is one of the warm proteins combined with the cold cut sandwich. Each sandwich comes topped with pickled carrots and daikon, cucumber, cilantro, jalapeño, and Sriracha. My guess is that you can pick and choose what you want to add, but I've never had a banh mi from here (or anywhere) where I didn't get it loaded with everything. The only issue I've ever had with any of the sandwiches is that the bread can sometimes come out a bit too crispy. There's a very fine line when it comes to banh mi baguettes that is easily crossed over from perfect bite and chewiness to harder crust and innards. Very rarely the line gets crossed, but it's not often. This isn't a knock on them or anything, it's just an unfortunate happening with any banh mi shop. All in all, this is, and has been, a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. It's very close to the R and several bus lines so it's really convenient to get to if you're not already in the area.

Tried their Vietnamese sandwich and was disappointed. Portions are small for the price, and the flavor feels more Americanized than authentic especially with the addition of mayo, which doesn't make sense for a traditional bánh mì. Feels like just another Asian restaurant trying to market an "exotic" dish without staying true to its roots. Not worth it for the cost.

Unfortunately I will be paying the toll to brooklyn more often to eat at this gem. My boyfriend and I were in the mood for a savory, fresh hero/sandwich this afternoon but we couldn't agree on anything until the BBQ Pork bahn mí from Tea and Milk caught my eye. Tea and Milk's take on the pork bahn mí was so satiable with the addition of jalapeño and sriracha. It added just the right amount of kick to complement the savory profile of the meat and the tang of the pickled daikon and carrot. The bread was also very fresh and fluffy despite being toasted. It was big enough to split but it was soooooo good that I had many regrets after not getting my own. Best bahn mí I've ever had. The staff was also very helpful and patient in helping me craft my drink of choice this afternoon. I opted for the Happy Drink with passionfruit and mango and was very well advised to add aloe. I also had a sip of my boyfriend's Bay Ridge drink and it may have been the best mango lassi I've had as well. To make things even better, this place was so cute. We didn't intend to stay and eat, but we were already sitting and admiring the festive decor. They also have sip and paint events and a hefty board game collection that makes the place even more interesting than it already is.

Wow what a spot! Me and my girlfriend were in the area and looking for a spot to grab something and stumbled upon this gem. No wonder this place has such good reviews! They have tons of creative drinks here that I have not seen anywhere else, they also have very delicious bahn mi. The workers were extremely nice and were helpful when me and my girlfriend were ordering and weren't sure what to get. This place is so cute inside, well decorated and they have a bunch of board games you can check out and play. This place is very unique and the drinks are out of this world! I got a bay ridge drink which is a mango lassi, and it was amazing. My girlfriend got the happy drink and it was so good, I'm impressed that this place even makes its own aloe drinks which Is not something I've seen before. I will definitely be coming back here whenever I'm in the area, very good experience!

This review is for their sip and paint ($28.52 pp after taxes). I thought it was cute how they were doing it for Halloween, so I signed up with a group of friends. They laid all the tools (paint, brushes, aprons, canvases) at the front near the entrance, so it was very organized. You take a seat wherever you like and there's already an easel and a cup of water for the paint brushes at each seat. The easel was a little flimsy and did not provide enough support for the canvas, but I guess you can't expect much from a bubble tea shop. The canvases already had printed outlines on them so you just have to color them in; there was no teacher. I kind of liked it that way so everyone in the group can do a different design and go at their own pace. It was a two hour limit which I thought was just enough time for the size of the painting. It's a lot smaller than the usual paint and sip places, but I like that I don't have to go home with a big piece of artwork that I may not like. You get to choose one bubble tea drink with your ticket. I got the brown sugar oolong milk tea with no sugar adjustment. It was way too sweet. I took a few sips and didn't touch it anymore. But later on, the sugar got diluted by the melted ice and it was drinkable. My husband got the strawberry matcha with bubbles. I don't usually like tea and milk's bubbles but they were much softer than the past times I've tried them, so I'm glad to see that they're improving! The staff was really sweet and offered painters complimentary pastel de natas at the end. They were all of varying temperatures though. My husband's was cool but mine was so hot it burnt my mouth! Overall, I'd do it again!

Went back to this location to try different drinks and my experience was much better. I really like their Happy Drink, which is unique. Adjusting the sweetness on their drinks really enhance my experience this time. I also tried their other milk tea drinks. I love their tapioca, which is smaller but still soft and chewy. The service there is great and you can tell they care about customer experience. Great bubble tea shop in the neighborhood!

Tea and Milk is a sweet little shop that sells fresh and yummy drinks and sandwiches. I was lucky enough to have tried this previously via a YES event (thank you Yelp!) and got the taro drink which was real and textured and goood - husband did not like lol. I got The Happy Drink because I wanted something fruity and it had strawberry and mango and also got a Supreme Banh Mi. Serena was super helpful and patient while I decided and now my post pregnancy brain will not allow me to remember the nice guy who made my sandwich... Steven? sorry... There were a bunch of different drink options so it was hard to choose, but there are also other things you can add to the drink in addition to boba such as aloe and grass jelly if you're into that. I was offered a sample of the aloe and while I liked it, I didn't think my husband would so I didn't include it in my drink. The drink was really good and what I was looking for. The sandwich flavor was good, but the meat texture felt weird for me. I'm not sure why, but since I was home, I popped it into the toaster oven and that made it better! The space is so clean and inviting. There are games to play and the bathroom signs and aesthetics are so cute! I'd be back again to support this local and Asian business! :)

I came to this restaurant because of a Yelp Elite Week Promotion and I'm so glad I can add a new restaurant to my go-to in the area! This restaurant is conveniently located within steps of the R train, B9 bus and B64 bus! From the outside it looks like a small place but once you enter, the place was pretty big. There were tons of seating inside, free Wi-Fi and outlets by every table! They also have a good selection of board games for guests as well. The restaurant was so clean and spotless. I love how they decorated for the Lunar New Year as well! I ordered the barbeque pork banh mi and the pastéis de nata. The barbeque pork banh mi was so delicious! There aren't much banh mi restaurants around and this was so satisfying! The pork was flavorful, grilled to perfection and very tender! The added pickled daikon and carrot was also good! The sandwich was also huge and packed with a lot of pork! So worth it! The pastéis de nata, Portuguese egg tart, was the perfect dessert to end my meal! The crust was delicious, the texture was so smooth and it wasn't too sweet. Make sure you eat it warm! The workers would be more than happy to heat it up for you. The staff was super nice and patient! She explained everything so well and made sure I got what I wanted. I will definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu!
