    Persimon milk (seasonal)

Awesome unique drinks to fill the dessert drink cravings Service was pretty quick considering large queue of orders ahead of me Inside has a few tables and seating Overall good dessert drink spot

Gave Uber driver the fries-they left out 4 whole drinks. Was this long receipt not a clear indication that something else was missing?

How do you forget to give Uber driver 4 whole drinks?????? The receipt is 14"+ inches long and you just hand him the fries only? Anndddd to top it off you don't pick up the phone and the recording states " We are too busy to pick up the phone"

Your typical boba shop amongst many. I do like that they offer some unique seasonal drinks like a brown sugar ginger latte and persimmon drink. I decided to try one out and got the Persimmon Coco drink (~$8). There were stacks of fresh persimmons, so you know they use real ingredients. Plus, you can still drink up some chunks of the persimmon, which adds a creamy sweetness to the drink. Unfortunately, the wait did take very long and they're very busy. But I'd pop back in to try some other seasonal drinks.

Spontaneously decided to look up boba shops as I was walking around Hells Kitchen and Jooy not only had a high rating, but was about a 4 min walk away from me. Massssive menu of options to choose from, mostly fruity but something for everyone to enjoy. I also love how many toppings and add-ins they have but I kept it simple for my first time so I could try it as is. Got a Roasted Brown Sugar Boba milk tea to go and it was ready in just a couple of minutes (there was no line.) I walked out and had to step to the side after my first sip to truly savor it and exclaim, "*?!?!* why is this so good?!" in my head. It is tied with another establishment as my favorite boba in the city now. such light but chewy boba, rich caramel, brown sugar flavor. whole milk in the tea was great quality. Huge drink for $8 (w/o extras of course). I almost always go for the brown sugar or something chocolatey at bubble tea shops because I can't help myself but I am definitely coming back for one of the fruit-based drinks! SO many to choose from. Also really want to try the drinks with sticky rice on the bottom as I never knew those existed!

Great bubble tea shop chain. I love their wonder grape. Service is fast. Drinks are good and the same each order. A few sitting spots available. I have always went to their shop on 53rd St. and I've always ordered their wonder grape. Still the same amazing delicious quality.

Our office has ordered here a number of times. The drinks are very elaborate and delicious. I've also tried their cheeseburger and chicken sandwich. I prefer their chicken sandwich more. The chicken is juicy and thick and has a nice combination of items in the sandwich. The only thing is the bun does get a little bit soggy when it is delivered from the condensation. All in all, a nice place to grab a snack and some delicious drinks.

First time trying Jooy and I loved their Mango Pomela Drink! Yummy bits of mango, pomela, and sago. Highly recommend!

Nestled along the bustling streets of 8th Avenue, Brooklyn, Jooy Tea Shoppe stands out amongst its competitors with its thoughtfully curated menu of unique drinks and food options. After trying their Lemon Fruit Yakult the first time around, we came back a second time to try their combos, which come with a choice of burger, snack, and drink (any drink) from their menu. * Lemon Fruit Yakult 柠檬水果益力多 Tangy and refreshing, with real lemon and lime slices, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and probiotic yogurt. Perfect for a hot and humid summer day. * Taro Slush 芋香冰沙 Classic, sweet, and creamy. It's hard to go wrong with this. * Mango Sticky Rice 紫米椰椰芒 Freshly blended mangoes served with sticky purple rice, coconut cream, and diced mango bits. The purple rice and diced mango bits can be hard to drink up the straw, but otherwise, this is an irresistible drink. * Popcorn Chicken 盐酥鸡 * Sweet Potato Fries 甘梅红薯 Small, bite-sized pieces of crispy fried chicken and sweet potato fries; both are classic pairings, though I am particularly partial to the popcorn chicken. * Premium Beef Burger 至尊牛肉堡 * Spicy Chicken Burger 香辣鸡腿堡 I'm not sure what makes the Premium Beef Burger "premium", but the Spicy Chicken Burger was the sure winner. The chicken was moist and juicy and came topped with lettuce, tomato, and house-made spicy mayo.

    Grape Tornado and Watermelon Smash

Jooy Tea Shop sells a variety of drinks from fruity to milky, and has a drink for everyone. I've ordered this shop's drinks through delivery before and have always gotten my drinks still fresh and cold! I decided to pay a visit in store and was surprised by the cute decor they had inside the shop! There aren't too many seats inside but it is a spacious shop! I ordered the grape tornado drink and watermelon smash. The grape tornado was good but had a lot of cheese foam which I really didn't expect. If you're someone who doesn't like cheese foam I don't recommend this drink. The watermelon smash was basically a watermelon slushy made from fresh watermelon - which you can't go wrong with. It was super refreshing on a hot summer day. The drinks are around $7 but they're pretty big drinks! They only come in one size from what I know. The staff did take a while to get our drinks which we didn't mind since we weren't in a hurry. However, we were also confused since there weren't many customers in the shop. Overall, I'd probably stick with their milky drinks from now one since I've tried that and preferred it over the fruity ones!

Jooy has been in the neighborhood for some time but I didn't really try it out until this past week. One of the first things that caught my attention was how many options they had on their menu! It was really helpful to have the list of Jooy's Favorites right by the door to help me narrow down my choices. I ended up ordering the Rose Jasmine Milk Tea and it was so good! The floral notes of both the rose and jasmine complement each other well and are not overpowered by the creaminess of the drink. I ended up going back a second time within the same week for the same drink. I also tried a bit of the drinks that my friends have ordered and they all taste quite good. I also really appreciated that there was seating inside the store, which is not the most common for bubble tea shops in the neighborhood. However, the store was always crowded when I went so I would not count on having a seat when you go. The one thing that I wish could be a bit improved was the staff service. Both times I went, they ran out of the topping that I had ordered. On both days, the same staff alerted me of the issue but didn't offer a replacement or a refund. I ended up settling for a cheaper topping that was available and gave up the difference in cost.

This past week I was around the area and it was raining, so I decided to stop by and grab a drink. They have your standard drinks and they have your specialty drinks and what I love about this place is that they have food too!!!!! ( not too many drink shops does food/ snacks - tasty ones at that) So I was looking through their menu and decided to get their combo B. Read carefully in the combo descriptions and I certainly disregarded an info and was so confused while ordering. Hhahahahahaa So combo B comes with a burger, a snack ( choose from section B snack menu), and any drink about $17 I got their grilled chicken hamburger, a classic popcorn chicken and an Avo Mango Pomelo drink. Grilled chicken I gave to my friend to eat and she LOVED it. I ate the popcorn chicken and it was delicious ( only wish I had gotten to eat it when it was hot but I took it to go, but cold was delicious. The drink was multi layered and it was a bit thick to drink at first but after stirring everything together it was a little bit easier to drink. Over all if I was in the area I would go back and try again~~ and order different drinks and snacks!! It a decent sized bubble tea store and they have a few tables for u to sit and eat and drink and go ~

When you first walk in, you are hit with the lovely and fragrant smell of tea leaves, and freshly brewed tea. I went with one of the more popular drinks - Coconut Mango Blue. I don't normally love coconut flavor but you couldn't taste it too much here. You taste more of the mango flavor, which was refreshing. I had never had blue spirulina before and it didn't really taste like anything. Again, you just taste more of the mango. Hubby had the Green Grape Boom, which was a little melty by the time he drank it so it would have tasted much better if it was still slushy. I think next time, I would try just a plain Jasmine tea, so that I could really taste the flavor of the tea.

Almost all other tea shops in this neighborhood close pretty early so that definitely sets this establishment apart. The milk tea was made well, just the appropriate amount of sweetness. I will say the Boba was slightly over cooked and on the gummier, softer side. The tea flavor selection is a little bit limited I feel, but not entirely a dealbreaker. This past Saturday, my sister wanted to try someplace new, so we decided to go to Upwind. When we walked in, there were only two staff: a tea-rista/cashier and a tea-rista in training. Both were very patient as we looked through the menu. My sister ended up ordering the kumquat lemon green tea with no sugar, and I really liked how the tea-rista/cashier advised that she get it with 30% sugar as it may be too sour for her taste. My sister reassured her that she wanted it with no sugar, and then the tea-rista in training proceeded to make her drink. The kumquat lemon green tea was tart like my sister preferred, the service was quick, and the staff were very nice. Overall, pleasant experience.
