I came here for desserts, but I might just come back here for the mains. I saw the famous skillet steaks on a sizzling plate with spaghetti and a fried egg. What I actually ordered here was a matcha tiramisu, which came in a cup with a mini spoon in it. Lots of matcha powder and the bread inside with the cream was very good. My friend and I wanted to try this place out, so we went around 12 PM. It was quiet and empty when we went inside. Since it was our first time there, we didn't know how things were done as no one greeted us. So, we decided to walk towards the back where most of the tables were, thinking we seat ourselves. However, that's when they ask us if there's 2 of us, and then let us to our seat. Everything is aesthetic that I wanted to take pics of everything. We took quite a bit to order because we're so indecisive with what we wanted. My friend wanted a bubble tea, but they said the boba wasn't ready, so we either opt for something else, wait for the boba, or just get the milk tea. My friend decided on waiting for the boba, but when she got her drink, it came without the boba, so that was disappointing. She also wanted a puff dessert, but that was also not ready yet, so that was sad, especially after being notified that the boba wasn't ready yet. The employees are very nice and on top of taking the trash and empty plates away, so that was nice. Adding on, everything else we ordered were delicious. I think the mango and shrimp salad was absolutely delicious; I would definitely get that again. Therefore, I will come back again, but probably coming a bit later. Highly recommend this place. I've been here several times and both the savory and sweet options are super good. Spaghetti was on the drier side not such sauce but the flavor is there. Our favorite was the fried rice. I don't remember the name. The desserts are amazing ! I highly recommend the toffee molten cake. The crunch on top compliments the cake and cream so well. Not too sweet not too bland. I also recommend their passion fruit mango crepe cake a bit on the sweet side but pair it with a tea it would go well together. Another adorable dessert place in sunset park around 8th Avenue. Super cute interior and cute dessert. I love the cute golden utensil and the aesthetic of their desserts. The employees are also kind and very helpful. This place use to be full all the time and it has now settled down so there is usually availability to eat in. Probably because it's been getting cold, but none the less, I've always been easily seated during my most recent visits! They sell bubble tea, as well as chicken wings, rice over meat, cakes, and almost everything you can think of that is sold around 8th Avenue cafes. We were originally seated in front of the cashier, where customers kept waking past. I wasn't comfortable with this because of Covid so I asked to be switched to a table further inside the restaraunt, which they accommodated. The interior is cute, perfect for a little date. Cakes: We ordered the special mango sago molten cake and the toffee molten cake. The mango sago was a little underwhelming if you're expecting a super sweet sauce. For us, it was nice a light for an after meal snack. 9/10 The toffee molten cake sauce was to die for. Although also a bit light on sweetness, the saltiness in the sauce gives it the perfect kick. If you're looking for something similar to sea salt caramel, this would be your best choice. 10/10 Over all; both cakes were a bit too dry and dense for my personal preference. This is a cute spot to catch up with some friends. The interior is so cute and clean. The workers are very attentive and are always checking on my table. We came here for the bear latte. At first, we thought it was chocolate! But it's frozen coffee or espresso. We poured the hot milk on it and sadly, the bear melted. The latte was very watery but it was okay for the average coffee drinker. I personally like very strong coffee and lattes. we ordered mango sponge cake, chicken wings, fries, and popcorn chicken. The mango sponge cake was okay, the sauce was as better than the actual cake. The sponge cake was a little dry. The popcorn chicken was our least favorite because it was sweet. Recently around the area, there has been a lot of new bubble tea/dessert spots opening. My friend decided to bring me here after dinner. The waitress greeted us to this small table in the corner. As I walked in, I saw the marble tables and dried flowers in small cute vases. I love aesthetic design of the place. When we sat down, the waitress handed us the menu. As I was browsing through the menu, I realize there were multiple typos such as "motcha (matcha) and leichi (lychee)". My friend ordered the herbal jelly shave ice and I ordered the mix fruit drink. The herbal jelly shave ice was provided with milk on the side. The dessert itself included peanuts, red beans, shave ice, mochi, and herbal jelly. The mix fruit drink was basically passion fruit green tea with slices of lime, orange and watermelon. Honestly, it's not worth it. It's just passion fruit green tea and they charge you extra to have lime, orange and watermelon slices. When I ordered it, I thought it was actually going to be a mixed fruit flavor. On top of the disappointing drink, the drink took 15-20 minutes to make. My friends shave ice came out faster and she was almost done with it by the time the drink came to me. Met up with a friend for a casual lunch around 1 pm on a Saturday and luckily we came earlier because there were more people coming in with time. It has the aesthetics of a cute dessert place like prince tea house with the menu and decoration but the atmosphere felt more like a family diner/cha-cha tang with all the families bringing in young kids (hence screaming and loud noises all around) so if you're about the quiet, maybe not the best place. We got the sweet potatoes fries, 2 classic sirloin steaks with black pepper sauce (potato soup or salad + garlic bread comes with it), a Butterfly Pea Flower Crepe cake, and a hot cheese roasted oolong tea. The sweet potato fries were standard, most of them crunchy on the outside and soft inside. I got the potato soup while my friend got the salad which we both enjoyed. The steaks were REALLY tough to cut, luckily they weren't as hard to eat as they were to cut. I got mines medium while my friend was well done. What I also didn't enjoy was how the steaks were drowning in the black pepper sauce so I just scraped most of it off. I liked my hot cheese tea - would get it again. The crepe cake didn't really have any outstanding aspects besides the pretty blue color, it was just sweet with a bit of salty taste from the cream or foam which I didn't mind. The servers were kind but wouldn't say service is top-notch. Understandable by how busy it was there so we had to remind them of the water request a few times before we got it. I've been here a couple of times so far and there always seems to be an issue.... The first time I was here, I ordered two drinks, the chicken, and the lava cake. Everything except the cake arrived so we were waiting for it and finished everything else in the process. Turns out, the waitress either didnt write it on our check or they forgot to bring it? We were in a rush so we paid and left without getting the cake, which was kinda sad since we went there especially for the cake. Another issue I had was, the second time I came here I had the rose raspberry lychee mousse cake( or something along those lines) and the raspberry part was frozen. If cutting board and prince tea house had a baby this will be it. I can't believe I pass by this place to go to my dentist next door and never checked it out and now it blew up on tik tok. We got the the salmon avocado fried rice and slow roasted salmon with cream tomato sauce. The food was super high quality with local pricing. If I get this in the city, it will probably be $20+. Both salmon were cook JUST RIGHT, it was still flaky and a teeny pink in the inside. My sister's fried rice had half an avocado, a poached egg and rice with tiny pieces of salmon and pieces of peanuts. My pasta was al dente with half pieces of cherry tomatoes. Both of these dishes costs less than $15 each too. We also got the the famous teddy bear iced latte. It was not too sweet- a little bit on the bitter side. For $6.25, it is expensive for a ice latte. You are paying for the aesthetics and pictures. FYI, if the teddy bear is too basic, they also have the mandarin ducks option which costs $6.75. I also love a good crepe cake. I don't know about you, but I'm kinda tired seeing the same basic crepe cake flavors like matcha, ube, etc. The peach oolong tea crepe cake immediately caught my eye. It had a layer of peach flavor jelly on top but the bottom is just crepe and cream. We came here at 12pm on a weekday and there were only 2 empty tables. In need of a space to chill AND with free wifi, I sped here right away. The service is phenomenal. I waited for a bit prior to ordering, but they never rushed me. I even whipped out my laptop and had a whole meeting for a hour, and they didn't rush me. Their wifi password is their phone number, by the way. Since the last time I went, I was shook by how much they expanded their menu. They now offer WHOLE meals, with even steak options! My friend got a pasta dish and said it was one of the best dishes he ever had that week. I could not tell if he was just that hungry, but I'll take it their entrees are stellar. I ordered their Lime With Passion Fruit Tea, and we also got Sweet Potato Fries and Butterfly Crepe Cake. I am loving fruit teas lately, and Sugar Miss did it no wrong. It was refreshing, not too sweet, and had the perfect amount of sour. Their Butterfly Crepe Cake, on the other hand, was pretty sweet. I don't know what I was expecting it to taste like with that name, but it just tasted like a sweet crepe cake with a salty cheese foam drizzle. Their Sweet Potato Fries were great: mushy on the inside, but still maintained a nice hard outer texture. Customer service is great and very attentive but should be a bit mindful when taking plates. Waiter/waitress bumped into my a few times whilst taking empty plates or glasses away. Plus side for me: did not rush us even after 1.5 hours. The drinks were very delicious; appetizers (not pictured) were yummy. We ordered French fries, popcorn chicken, chicken wings and then dessert (some pictured below and some I forgot to snap). We ordered the mango soufflé but felt that the cake wasn't moist enough. I came here with friends and the cafe is well lit so it's great for taking photos but sitting on the bench/sofa was difficult for conversing. You end up sitting very low so it isn't on par with the table. We ended up sitting on the pillows and it made a huge difference. Their super fresh fruit drink was bomb! It's on the small side for the amount you get with all the slices of fruit (oranges, watermelon, strawberry)inside but it was very refreshing. I tried my friend's orange tea with passionfruit which was also delicious! I would order that next time. It's pretty on par with mango mango when it comes to the fresh fruit drink. There was a language barrier though, the waitress spoke mandarin and some english and brought over a cold drink when a friend ordered hot and all they offered to do was heat it up rather than re-making it so the taste was off so make sure to be specific. While the drinks were great, the food was on the mediocre side. The hot sweet potato fries helped to balance out any sweetness and it was standard. The molten cake of caramel toffee and green matcha weren't special. It was a sponge cake, and wasn't overly sweet which I appreciated but it was lacking an oof to it. Maybe if they had some crunchy toppings on the side to give more contrast it out, it would've been better. The place is good for hanging out with some friends for some late night snacks. Next time I would go for the drinks and standard hot snacks and skip the desserts. I love coming to this cafe for a quick appetizer. The food was great, it was delicious and filling, I love their pepper chicken

Only come here when it's empty. I came here today and it was a bit busy, I wouldn't even say fully seated, maybe 80% full. We sat and ordered or drinks and food. The table across us sat down after we made orders and their food has all came. When we made orders, the waitress told us there was no steak, so we ordered lamb chops, then we see the table across had steaks coming out?? So what's the deal?? It's super humid in here, first time we complain, they responded AC is on, 2nd time we complain, they responded that AC is broken. Maybe employees needs a meeting before their shift so that everyone's excuse is on the same page when the business plan to be cheap on AC. It's been over 45 mins, and we haven't even got our drinks yet!! Yet no one come to tell us anything. All our food came and still no drinks!! This is unacceptable is you're going to have indoor dining. I would give negative stars if I can. read more
