We walked in to Qahwah just on a whim as we were passing by. We are so glad we did. This was our first time trying Yemeni coffee and the flavor profile is robust yet smooth. No bitterness. My latte was creamy and rich with coffee flavor. They claim to roast on demand so the beans have not been sitting very long which shows in the freshness of the aroma and taste. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered us samples Yemeni tea which was a treat to try. While we happened in to Qahwah I suggest you make it a coffee destination.

Came here to meet someone for a tea. we got a pot of Yemeni tea which was plenty to share between two people. It has similar flavors of a chai but definitely taste a little different. The place was full when I arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday and stayed busy until I left at 10 PM. Initially we were sitting at the counter and a table opened up. I saw a few people on laptops even having zoom calls. I would be curious to try their pastries.

The good news.. Qawah House has opened in Bay Ridge!! However, it is not listed on Yelp as of yet??? Thus, I wanted to tag the new location here to let Qawah fans know when in Bay Ridge you can drink and enjoy their delicious Yemeni Latte. On my visit here, I decided to try their Adeni Chai iced. The chai consists of Yemeni black tea, cardamom, nutmeg and milk. It was simply delicious. The Bay Ridge location is similar to the Williamsburg one and there is plenty seating. If you want to try great Arabic coffee and find yourself walking on Fourth Avenue, step into Qawah House. Qawah House is located on 86th Street and Fourth Avenue. Take R train to 86th and you're right there !

Qawah House is a great spot with an amazing atmosphere that always feels lively and welcoming. The space is vibrant and full of energy. It is a perfect place to sit down and study for a while or just stop in to grab and go. The drinks and pastries are flavorful and feel very authentic. The staff are friendly and the service is quick which makes the whole experience even better. They usually make the adeni chai quickly since that is their most popular drink and everyone orders it. So they typically have a large pot ready. Some of the specialty drinks may take a while to make since they are made to order. Make sure to enter your phone number at the register to earn points!

Great third place to hang out with friends and just yap away. It's open very late, until 1AM and there are plenty of tables. We ordered two servings of the large Adani chai (only one pictured) and the honey pull apart bread. The bread was fantastic and was served warm with high quality honey drizzled over top. The cheese in the bread is super mild and creamy, which I loved. The chai was also great, very strong though. Note that if you want it less sweet, get the first pours. It gets sweeter as the pot empties.

Very good milk tea and bread! I've been meaning to check out this spot for ages. The honeycomb bread is chefs kiss and you get a LOT of tea

What a wonderful way to start the day! Qahwah House was in the neighborhood we were staying in, and we knew we had to have morning drinks here. It's a cozy, warm (like VERY warm) space with a decent amount of seating and a huge back-of-house for a variety of coffee and tea offerings. We wanted to split a pot but didn't know what size, and the cashier recommended a medium for us two. It ended up being WAY too much - I'd recommend a small even for two people! We got the Adeni Chai and it was delicious. We had them hold the sugar so we could add our own - it's bitter without, but we prefer it less sweet. It would be awesome to see the seating area get a bit of an upgrade with cushions and some better chairs/tables, but it didn't stop us from enjoying our pot of chai onsite!

Beautiful and spacious with a second floor and amazing drinks and dessert. Love the place. On broadway between 111th and 112th streets close to Columbia University. The 1 train is right there and the 110th street cathedral stop is here to get here. Super convenient and I enjoyed every part of this experience, including the dessert. It was exquisite.

We really enjoyed our visit to Qahwah House during our visit to Brooklyn. The Yemeni style coffee was a refreshing new take and we really enjoyed trying the pastries at the shop, especially the Kahliat Alnahl. Unfortunately, we visited at night so we didn't partake of any of the caffeinated teas or coffees but if we are ever in the area again we will definitely make sure to try Qahwah House again.

A delicious warm cup of chai to share with friends was the perfect afternoon stop. The service is fast and everything is fresh and hot. Noting that it was incredibly overcrowded on a Sunday and there was nowhere for my group to sit so we took a stool and stood around it outside while it was still cold outside. That wasn't fun, but it was so delicious it was worth it. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Came on a weekend afternoon and the place is packed, so we just got the drinks to go. They have very authentic Yemeni style coffee and tea if you were interested. The spice taste in the coffee just wasn't for me personally. Would love to come back to try the pastry

    Cappuccino , Almond croissant, Honeycomb

Visited Qahwah House - Bay Ridge for breakfast. I ordered a sweet cappuccino, Yemeni milk tea, honeycomb, and an almond croissant. The cappuccino was overly sweet and pretty average. The tea was the highlight -- strong and flavorful, similar to Indian masala chai. The honeycomb was just okay, nothing special. The almond croissant was bitter and not enjoyable. The space is open and spacious, and the staff was quick and efficient. Overall, while the place looks fancy in photos, the food didn't live up to the expectations.

The baked goods especially the honey bread was really tasty, service was decent and ambiance was laid-back but somewhat crowded.

There's the main seating area and then two offshoot lounges, which aren't quite as cozy but offer different levels of quiet and ambience. I love all the random décor, antique signs, old arcade games as tables, a million lamps. It's like what nook is going for but you can actually sit down on a comfy couch most of the time. The guy working the counter has a lot of energy and clearly loves being there. The PB banana smoothie was yummy, very thick so could use a spoon. Mushroom toast was a bit pricey but you did get a lot of food for your money, the focaccia was crunchier than expected but all around a nice cafe bite. I just appreciate how this is such a gathering spot where you can watch bk life play out while working, it had a different energy from a lot of places in the area.

Shucks I wanted to give this place five stars but it didn't start so well. The first barista who…read moretook my order was really great. I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
