Wow!! We saw a TikTok about this spot because aesthetically the inside and outside are absolutely gorgeous. It's decorated beautifully and if this could be my regular spot, it would bring me such joy. As of now, I'm in this area about one morning a week, and they will now certainly be receiving my business. Service is 5/5. Food menu was small but mighty. Let my dog inside and had a water bowl for him!! Biodegradable cups!! Order: Cold Brew & iced latte 5/5!! Wow wow wow. We'll be back!!
While staying in Brooklyn for the weekend, we popped into this cute little coffee shop. The staff was very friendly and the inside was nice with the decor and live plants! I liked the unique vibes and good people. There isn't much seating but we found little stools to sit on and it was great! The cappuccinos were delicious as well! Would absolutely go back next trip!
Cute, funky coffee shop with friendly staff just around the block from L'industrie. Had a fantastic cortado and will definitely be back when I'm in the area. No indoor seating but there is a lone bench out front. The interior is super unique and full of fun vintage trinkets and household items. It's also connected to a gift shop next door.
My friend and I came here recently to get coffee. There is no seating inside, but there are a few benches outside. There's a little concept store attached to the cafe with some homeware. I ordered a cortado, which was good.
I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk ($7.62). The matcha was light and had a lovely smooth texture. For sweetener options, they have simple syrup and agave. There is limited seating inside (bench seating) and outside. You mainly order inside and there's a pick-up window outside. They have a lot of the classics like hojicha and coffee options. They also have an interesting chai option which I'd like to try next time.
(Hojicha Latte: D) - I ordered a sweetened Hojicha Latte as I am normally a fan of all things Hojicha flavored; however, I felt like this drink missed the mark, most likely because the taste of the tea was not strong enough, resulting in this weird blend of grassy taste on top of the almond milk that is not pleasant. I was also slightly upset that all the drinks except for mine was presented with latte art, however simple that may seem. heard good things about the matcha here but they had run out of matcha by sunday noon so we got the: - iced hojicha oat latte ($7) - iced sencha oat latte ($7): haven't actually had a sencha latte before, it tasted more grassy/ earthy than matcha, it wasn't bad but I prefer matcha we got both drinks unsweetened and they were pretty strong and not milky which was nice. but they were kind of grainy, and I wish the drinks were colder though. the cafe is small (no seating other than a bench inside and outside) but decorated nicely with plants and wood/ rustic furniture
A cute spot in Williamsburg for a solid matcha! As soon as you step in, it's decorated with tons of plants and feels so homey. I got the hojicha and my friend got the matcha. Both came unsweetened but the drink was so smooth and creamy that I didn't mind too much. I definitely think the hojicha had a stronger flavor than the matcha though so I recommend getting the hojicha! There's no seating inside except for one bench so keep in mind that it's mainly a to-go establishment and not a sit down cafe. Definitely worth trying if you're in the area!
Really wanted to love this place bc the interior is sooo cute, but unfortunately, the drinks did not hit. Both the hojicha and matcha were rather watery and didn't have a lot of tea flavor.

I stopped by to grab a cup of coffee to go, the only space to sit is this bench and the coffee shop has a to go window so you don't even have to pop inside. I got a flat white which was bold, body, delicious and just what I needed first thing in the morning. It was a quick turn around to ordering too. I highly recommend supporting this local spot!

i came by because i had heard raving reviews about the matcha but unfortunately was very dissapointed. i love matcha and have been trying to find a go to spot in the city but it was not that great & also for the price (nearly $9) was a bit insane given it was very weak. the cold brew was a little better but definitely overpriced for being a cold brew. the service was quick & very minimal seating but it is cute inside. you can order inside or there is also a cute walk up window to order from

A very adorable little cafe but unfortunately the iced matcha latte that I got was a little disappointing. I thought that the oat milk they used was way too thick and creamy that it kinda overpowered the matcha taste. The matcha itself was decently strong though. Loveddd the vibes though, it was very nature-y! read more

if you enjoy matcha, this isn't the place. I had good expectations from the reviews but the matcha had to be one of the bottom 5 I've had. So watery, weak to no flavor. I got it iced but for some reason it was hot (?) and there were ice on top that was melting which obviously made my drink so watery. The atmosphere is so nice so I'm disappointed that the drink was so ... bleh :( read more

A cozy, quaint, unique spot in Brooklyn that somehow manages to bring a little of the jungle into NY. I dragged my bestie here for a matcha and was not disappointed. They whisked my iced oat matcha latte over an ice bath which made for a deliciously creamy and foamy drink. As cute and whimsical as it was inside, it did get a little claustrophobic when things got busy. I'll have to come back in the summer so I can sip my drink outdoors. read more

The hippiest plant cafe in Williamsburg with its rustic design and retro atmosphere. Every nook and cranny of this cafe is filled with vintage furnishings and greenery. It is Japanese-owned and the three cheerful baristas I met are Japanese. PPL brewed brilliant matcha latte and didn't let me down. The menu has a variety of Japanese tea options like Genmai and Wakocha. For the tea lattes, I had a hard time deciding what to pick between Matcha, Hojicha and Sencha. I personally like the matcha latte more because of its bright and robust flavor. The hojicha latte might be better than most of the ones you could get at other cafes in nyc, but the flavor could be stronger. Both drinks had velvety and rich milk foam on top. They also won me over without sweetener. I was totally obsessed with the slight bitterness in their tea lattes. Just a reminder that there is only a bench of seating. The cafe is really busy and the space could be quite cramped. There are a cute Japanese selection shop and a salon connected next door so you could also hit them up while you're enjoying your drinks. read more
I walked by this cafe while walking around the Williamsburg area and I'm so glad I stopped in. The decor is great and charming with the plants and rustic feel. Staff was nice but we didn't interact very much. I ordered a flat white and it was so tasty. Really enjoyed the espresso in the drink. It was well balanced and made really well. It was a reasonable price as well for $4.00. They have a good menu with a variety of drinks. Glad I stopped by here unexpectedly! Definitely a quaint little coffee shop. read more
This is a beautiful little cafe where they meticulously make your coffee. When you walk by, it's easy to miss. It's a little shop with high ceilings and tons of gorgeous plants everywhere. The coffee station almost feels like an afterthought since all of your attention is going to the plants and the peaceful ambiance inside. I've only ordered their cold brew which I really like. They're large is actually very large and is a good value for $4. I've witnessed them making matcha lattes and other coffes and they are so detail oriented.. it makes me want to order something more involved next time! There's no where to sit, so this is strictly to go. I think it might be connected to a salon next door? read more

I heard this place was pretty highly recommend when it came to matcha, so when I was in Williamsburg I wanted to come try it out. The inside of the store is pretty small, so don't expect to come here and sit down. I got an iced matcha latte with whole milk, and I wasn't really blown away. I think it's good for what it is, but certainly not the best matcha latte I've had. The matcha is unsweetened, so if you like it sweeter don't forget to use some! read more
It breaks my heart to say this, but I found that the matcha here was on the weaker side. My hot matcha latte tasted more like milk than match, which does not make it a worthwhile visit for me. Excuse the pastry, this is the only picture I got of my drink! Regardless, this cafe is truly beautiful. The vibe is great (though I don't believe they have any seating) and the staff is friendly. I was the only person in, so had relatively no wait time. I had heard great reviews of their matcha for so long, so I was pretty disappointed when it didn't stick out at all. They do seem to prepare it very fresh which is great, there's nothing worse than pre-made matcha syrup! I just think the measurements may have been off for my drink. I won't discourage anyone from going, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit. read more

Adorable, trendy and insta worthy coffee shop with the friendliest service! Very tight inside with only a small bench for seating. This spot is meant for grabbing your coffee and leaving. The workers were both Japanese and extremely friendly. Ordered an espresso shot and it did the job. So many beautiful plants and fun things to look at. I will definitely be back and try more of their fancier drinks! read more

So good! We came by on a Saturday afternoon; a bit of a wait, but no more than 10 minutes. It's a really small shop with a few benches outside, but don't expect to come here and hang out. Really hipster interior though; lots of plants, older artifacts, and overall cool vibes. We got a matcha latte and a white sesame latte. The matcha is very good; extremely smooth and rich, well balanced with the milk, and overall has a fantastic taste and mouth feel. The white sesame latte is EVEN better though, and you absolutely have to try it if you like sesame. It's made with fresh sesame paste that you see them scoop out of a huge jar and whisk with the milk. This leads to such a strong sesame flavor, with a subtle sweetness, just enough to enhance the flavor. Really one of the best drinks I've had in recent times!! My one complaint (and this might be a bit on me) is that given how it's a paste, a ton of it settled at the bottom of the drink, and I felt like I missed out on an even stronger sesame flavor! Definitely come here and give the drinks a try! read more
Amazing space! There may not be space to work, but the interior is so peaceful and well-curated. Ppl has a limited selection of coffee and some great specialty tea-lattes. The white sesame latte is very fresh. I've also only gotten the Ethiopia drip but would love to come back to try their espresso drinks. My only qualm is that the to-go cup leaks from the lip. If you're taking your coffee to go, make sure to wrap it with napkins. read more

I loved this place . It's so cute and aesthetically pleasing . It has little bench in the inside and outside . I had the white sesame latte and it was so so good . It was a little salty a little sweet and it reminded me of peanut butter and pistachio at the same time . The workers there were very sweet . I loved it here and I recommend stopping by and grabbing a latte a coffee . A tea . It's a nice nice spot . It's not really to stay but it's worth grabbing a cup to go . And the plants are beautiful read more
This was supposedly a hidden gem w the best matcha. This is a very small store with a really pretty green/plant interior. Only about 2 people working, but when I came there was no line. Was doing a taste test of the best matcha lattes and this was high priority. Matcha was really good quality and not bitter, I do wish I asked for some natural sweetener in it (I'm not used to drinking it straight). Price point is higher here but you do automatically get a larger size compared to most since they only have 1 size. I feel as if this location is in not the best place - tucked with residential living. But it's on the corner so it's pretty easy to find. This is straight to the point to go coffee shop and good quality... not much frills or additional flavorings added if that's your cup of tea ! I'd rate this a solid 8.5/10 read more
