Iced Vanilla Latte and Iced Matcha Latte - The image shows two tall glasses of iced beverages, one with a green matcha latte and the other with a vanilla latte, on a metal tray with black napkins. In the background, there is a decorative vase with a single flower and a blurred view of the cafe interior, including a black chair and people sitting and reading.

This cafe is soo cute and aesthetic! I found out about this cafe on TikTok and the drinks really surprised me. I ordered an Iced Matcha Latte which came out to be a perfect shade of green and was super refreshing. The Vanilla Iced Latte was also sweet enough and had a good balance of milk + coffee. Definitely recommend visiting this beautifully curated space!

Ambiance, 10/10. Very unique, great seating. Would love to just spend the day working there and drinking a caffeinated beverage-- but I personally cannot recommend their iced matcha and am too scared to go back and try anything else after my experience, lol. A friend and I went to Cafe MSMN on a weekday (only people in there, literally, the barista was nowhere to be found). The barista finally came over after like 5-7 minutes of waiting and took our orders (not very kindly). I ordered the pistachio matcha and my friend ordered a regular iced matcha latte. They were un-drinkable. The matcha itself was liquidy, like crowded with water and barely whisked Id assume (which was done so with a cheap plastic whisk as we saw).

Beautiful modern cafe with bathrooms, couches, and chairs. I ran into Cafe MSMN on a rainy day and it was the perfect mid day rest spot. There's lots of art sculptures and a tattoo parlor connected in the back. Must go if u love art, coffee, and a great ambiance to catch up with a friend.

The poster advertises matcha-based drinks and desserts, with images of a matcha drink and a dessert on a white surface. The background includes part of a counter and a person wearing a striped shirt.

Cute and casual cafe in a gallery-esque space that has a tattoo shop in the back. There is seating on both the entry level, and then on the main gallery floor. There are design chairs and furniture as well as lighting which adds to the flair of the space. It also is a small shop where some jewelry and goods are sold. Overall, a cute space for meeting friends or just enjoying a solo date. All the espresso drinks are offered as well as tea and matcha. They have special summer drinks which double as desserts - a matcha banana milk shake and espresso shake, served in a glass. These are not dairy free though!

Absolutely love it here. I ordered a hazelnut latte and it lacked any hazelnut flavor which was a bit disappointing but I love that it's not too crowded, the seats are pretty well spaced out, and it's just so vibey. There is free wifi! I brought my laptop (there are only high tables by the stairs when you first walk in) but decided to vibe downstairs at the main floor with all the decorations and people. I love the concept, it just felt so "Brooklyn" and "New York", a little edgy but so unique and elegant. They really put thought into the decor and vibes here. Would definitely recommend coming, even if it is out of the way.

Such a beautiful space! I went in for a cappuccino and was so impressed by the design of the shop. The coffee itself was good. I love the mugs and tray used for serving. The barista made my drink quickly. There are a couple of places to sit, but they did a good job of not chalking the place full of furniture. It's still very light and airy.

The cafe is within Maison Mono (art gallery and tattoo + piercing studio). The top level is more cafe seating with good sunlight, whereas the sub-level has the cafe bar and rest of the facility. Service was great! The barista was extra hospitable and made a delicious matcha pistachio latte*. I loved the chromatic mug it came in, and the latte art was unique. It's a great and relatively quiet space to do work thanks to the free wifi, but there are only a few tables, so realistically, it's not meant to be a study-cafe. It's a good place to chat with friends. *matcha + pistachio syrup. Not pistachio milk.

Cafe MSMN is a hidden gem tucked just off the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, and it's one of those places that feels like a true find. You head downstairs into what looks like a quiet building, and you're met with a surprisingly spacious and inviting interior. There's a cozy little café up front with ample seating, and a tattoo studio tucked in the back, which adds a unique flair to the space. The staff were welcoming and efficient, happy to explain drink options and help us find a good spot to sit. Service was fast and friendly without feeling rushed. We tried both the hot and iced pistachio matcha with oat milk. The drinks came out quickly and were pretty solid overall. The matcha had a strong, slightly bitter taste, definitely more on the bold side, which might not be for everyone. The portion sizes were generous for the price, and while I'd probably try a different drink next time, it was still a nice intro to what they offer. The real standout here is the atmosphere. It's calm, creative, and ideal for hanging out, reading, or getting some work done. Definitely worth revisiting.

This place is more than just cafe, although they have great selection of coffee/drinks. It's a spacious art gallery where you can enjoy the art and space. There is ample space for seating (actual comfy couch style seating) to enjoy the art and drink of your choice. I tried their latte which was good. They also have tattoo artist in the back of the shop. And house mascot dog Uni, very cute! The owner were very friendly and nice. It's a great space to enjoy for the neighborhood.

The image shows an art gallery interior with white walls and a polished concrete floor. Three textile artworks are hung on the wall, including a large piece with a tree design and two smaller pieces. A black leather sofa and a transparent glass coffee table with decorative items are positioned in the space. In the background, a projection or screen displays a black-and-white video or image, and the ceiling has exposed pipes and lighting fixtures.

One of the biggest issues with NYC coffee shops is the lack of seating--but not at Café MSMN. This spot is more than just a café; it's also a gallery and tattoo studio, and the space feels thoughtfully curated. I love the gallery atmosphere. You can sip your drink while surrounded by beautiful artwork, design objects, and a calm, creative energy. It's a perfect place to take a break, meet a friend, or just be inspired. Definitely a hidden gem worth checking out.

Love love love this place!!! Owners and staff are the nicest people ever!! Had two tattoos, two piercings and countless amount of coffee lol and I still can't wait to go back!!!

Vibe is Ok, but the girl who takes order is not so friendly. I don't think I will come back.

I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
