I was concerned about the room temp. as it was very cold outside, but with the heaters blasting and the plastic coverings, it wasn't a problem. I would recommend opening up the pita and putting everything inside so you get all flavors in one bite. The server recommended the Endive and apple salad and boy did it not disappoint. I had been meaning to go to Laser Wolf for so long and finally got a chance to go on a Thursday night! It's located on the rooftop of a hotel with a beautiful view of the skyline so it's probably very nice during warmer months. We each got a drink - cosmo, spicy drink, and get shishlikd, and all were delicious. The star of the show was the salatim. It came out beautifully as a spread with warm, thick pita along with a piece of paper explaining what each item was. We quickly became full from just the salatim. For the mains, we got the chicken, lamb meatballs, and eggplant. Although at first glance the portions looked small, it was actually perfect considering the salatim and dessert. What a meal and what a view, Laser Wolf was truly fantastic. A few people had told me it was their favorite restaurant in the city, and when I peeped the menu and saw just how small it was, I was a little surprised by their sentiment. We had a late lunch reservation and enjoyed their prix fixe, which is the only real option aside from some smaller side dish options. The prix fixe came with your choice of protein, hummus, pita, and the daily selection of salatim, which happened to be cucumber, olive and pickles, Baba ghanoush, and a cabbage salad/slaw. Everything was great, but we really tore through the cucumbers and cabbage. The included sides were all bottomless, so they would stop by to refill if needed. For protein we got the chicken, steak, and lamb all to share. Again, each one was fantastic. I couldn't even pick a favorite because they were all so good. I would absolutely get any of them again, and would hope to get all of them again. We also got an order of the fries, which were so good and crispy. They were pretty thick so I wasn't expecting the crispy crunch, but they were cooked wonderfully. To drink I got the Get Shishlik'd, a nice frozen cocktail that was perfect for a warm and sunny day overlooking the city. Service was very friendly and food came out pretty quickly. I've been to the original location in Philly, but I loved it so much that I knew I had to come here too. It's very hard to get a reservation here, but I was able to get a later dinner time for a group five. I think this is a great place to take a group of friends who have different dietary restrictions since everyone chooses their own main, but you still get to share the salatim as a group. My friend is a vegetarian, and they had plenty of options for her to choose from. I loved trying all of the salatim with my friends; it's really hard to not fill up before the entrees come! It's already a ton of food, but I really recommend getting the french fries. They're not your normal fries. They're super thick but crispy and perfectly seasoned. The only complaint I have about the place is that we were seated at the last table at the end so the heater didn't reach us. It was a freezing night, so we all had to keep our winter coats on. One of the best hummus' I've had in the city! For the mains, we tried the lamb kofta, beef and lamb kofta, ocean trout, and grilled eggplant. I unfortunately found the trout to be lacking in flavor and overall an odd texture. This spot has quickly become my favorite restaurant right now. We went on a cold December evening and everyone was bundled up in full winter gear, which honestly added to the experience. It's definitely chilly, but the heaters during the winter months make it manageable (and worth it tbh). The unlimited salatim was fantastic and easily one of the highlights. Everything was impossible to stop eating. The steak shishlik and brisket kebab were unbelievable. And the French fries with tehina ketchup were the crunchiest, most perfect fries I've ever had. It's expensive ($60 with tax and tip each with a vegetarian entree), but good value with the unlimited salatim. SALATIM Hummus + Pita - the hummus is super rich and creamy, and the pita was fluffy with almost nutty wheat flavor. Babaganoush - subtle smokiness balanced with creaminess. The salatim and bread is unlimited but the food was so filling, I did not need extras. The salatim flavor profile was so diverse, some being spicy, some pickly, it was great to experiment! We also got the fries which were seasoned well and crispy, and it did not need any sauce. Me and my friend got the steak and chicken shishlik and both were good portions and seasoned well! I usually prefer steak but honestly could not tell you which of the chicken and steak I preferred. This place has been on my to go list for about a year now and never had the chance to come here since Williamsburg is a bit out of the way for me. I decided to celebrate my fiancé's birthday here. I made a reservation the day it came out so that we could get table seating. Highly recommend stalking the reservations since they are a bit hard to come by (I do believe that it is easier now compared to before). The place is located inside a hotel area and you take an elevator all the way up. I have to say this elevator was the MOST sus elevator ever - it made sounds the whole way up. The staff was so friendly - they all wished my fiancé a Happy Birthday and even came him a card for the table so that everyone who worked there knew it was his birthday. The view was stunning - especially since we got a 6 pm reservation so we were there for sunset. For food wise - all the entrees came with the assortment of sides which I was super excite for. We decided to go with the lamb & beef kebab and the beef Shishlik. They were both so flavorful, tender and absolutely amazing. My favorite salatim is was the hummus and pita - absolutely delicious. Everything was so flavorful and all went so well together. They also bring out dessert as well at the end which is soft serve ice cream - also delicious. I've been quite a bit since its opening in 2022 and last night was just as magical as the first. Its still relatively hard to get a reservation on the weekends but they now also offer a condensed lunch menu which will give people more opportunities to experience. It's an Isreali restaurant on the rooftop of the Hoxton Hotel in Williamsburg. The sites of the city and Brooklyn are stunning and the food is THE BEST. You basically pick your protein that you want to be grilled over coal and it comes with something called a Salatim which is like an assortment of salads with sides of pita. Every Single Salad/Dip is phenomenal. You can get any of the salads refilled or extra pita at any point during the meal. So basically if you don't like one or two of the salad offerings you can get the ones you do love refilled. At this point I have had every single protein and you just really cant go wrong choosing any of them. The dorade fish, the branzino and the t bone are so good. The salatim switches up seasonally but always come with baba ghanoush and hummus! If you ever find yourself in Williamsburg area or want somewhere nice to celebrate something. I recently watched a video where a TikTok-er lamented the unavailability of good, accessible food in Williamsburg. Suffice it to say, when influencers find themselves outpriced and out of sorts in a neighborhood, you are firmly behind enemy lines. Laser Wolf offers little reprieve. Relatively standard middle-eastern fare gets elevated (ten floors) and suddenly it's a "prix fixe" offering. I know what Laser Wolf serves is technically/culinarily/legally a prix fixe menu, but providing four dips and pickles along with your entree (a few demure pieces of kebab) feels like a semantic stretch. It would more accurately be described as... Mediterranean banchan... with no refills. The views of Manhattan are nice, but you could achieve the same general effect with a Cava bowl on a blanket in Domino Park. Despite all this, Laser Wolf seems to be the hottest ticket in town, which is sad in and of itself. The discerning hipster identity of Williamsburg is a distant memory and in its place are the bankers/lawyers who wanted an intermediate step between living in Manhattan and assuming their final form as libertarian suburbanites. I suppose these are the kinds of people who will pay prix fixe prices for hummus and give the place 5 stars, in which case, Williamsburg is Laser Wolf's world and we're all just living in it. read more

I came here on my anniversary with my partner and we managed to cinch a table reservation a few weeks in advance. It's a prix fixe menu which I'm grateful for (to reduce my decision anxiety), and we got the spicy lamb kofta and steak. Both were cooked on a grill and absolutely delicious, and I had a slight preference for the kofta. There was less meat than expected, but we did not leave hungry by any stretch. The salatim was the stand out part though, and I loved trying the various small dishes which was full of flavor and kept the meal from being too heavy. Drinks were good. Our service was also great.
