I really enjoyed the food at Huda. Everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully plated. The service was attentive and thoughtful, checking for allergies and keeping our waters full. We sat outside, which was nice but a bit noisy since it's on a busy road, and there were a few smokers nearby, so I'd recommend indoor seating for a cozier vibe. They started us off with a complimentary clementine, and we tried the Shamander, Shish Tawook, Kebab Karaz, and Charred Malfouf. All delicious, though portions were on the smaller side for the price. The Shish Tawook, for example, came with only two kebabs for $24, so I'd suggest ordering a bit extra if you're hungry.

Huda is an amazing place for Mediterranean food. Came with a group of four and shared 3 apps, pita, and two mains. All were delicious, but especially loved the rakakat. The honey paired so well with the pastry, definitely recommend. The shish barak and yabra2 were so goid. Beef was cooked so tender, and the pairing with yogurt was wonderful. Service was quick and great! They even fixed our table from wobbling, which was really nice.

Some of the best Mediterranean food in NYC. There initially was an issue with our server (which I won't specify here) but it was handled really professionally and the rest of the staff (especially the bartender) were great. The food was excellent and between the 5 of us, we tried a decent portion of the menu (sharing is the way to go here). Standouts include the stuffed grape leaves (may have been the best version of this dish I've had), Fattoush Caesar salad, lamb meatballs in this cherry sauce, and roasted cabbage. Don't pass on dessert-- my favorite was the tiramisu (the cream was soooo light and I liked the cardamom; wish it had a bit more coffee flavor), followed by sticky date pudding (great if you like sweeter desserts), and the olive oil cake (my friends liked this more than I did; personally found the lemon cream a bit too tart, coming from someone who loves lemon flavored things). Honestly there wasn't a single dish I disliked, which is rare. Wish this place wasn't so far from where I live but def recommend!

Absolutely fantastic local restaurant serving fabulous Mediterranean food with Lebanese flair. Fresh unique shareable will definitely be back. Cocktails were beautiful and unique. It's a fairly small restaurant so either make a reservation or get there early.

A cute, cozy spot tucked into a more residential part of Williamsburg -- the space is dimly lit, perfect for a date night or catchup with friends. The servers were great at making recommendations and super friendly! We got a bottle of red to split and it was delicious. IMHO, the price is a bit steep for the portion size but overall enjoyed the food -- there were plenty of vegetarian options. My standouts included the Muhamarra (with the Rakakat) and Charred Eggplant. The Ice Cream with Pistachio Butter was also delicious -- it had notes of orange blossom, super unique!

Good food, excellent vibes and atmosphere. I especially reccomend the kebab in cherry sauce, but a cool thing about this place is how the menu is seasonal so you know you're only getting quality ingredients. Do attend.

Huda has themed cocktails that are very smart. I liked the bar tender with his soccer jersey! Food wise, 3 out of 4 dishes we ordered were very good. They are the charred eggplants, phyllo + cheese, and the grilled calamari with the smoothest hummus I've tasted. I would say the beef stuffed dumplings needed some extra salt in the fillings. The ambiance is cozy and romantic. I would 100% come back. Service was also to the point.

Where to even begin... let me start by saying, this was the best meal I've had in 2025 so far. Not a single miss. Came here for my birthday dinner with my partner and while I sort of knew what to expect on the menu (I've been following Huda on IG), my partner didn't. He trusted me, though, and I'm so thankful for that. When we sat down, we received complimentary champagne and green almonds (which have such a limited season so, what a treat!). My partner ordered the Bunny Be Good mezcal drink and I had the Baskoot drink (loved the Gandour biscuit infusion, so unique) - both very good. We ordered a multitude of menu items at once and they coursed it out for us. Really fantastic service. Started with their pita with ramp butter, batata harra (think: fried potato hashbrown), and charred eggplant. Now, I'm Pakistani and grew up eating a lot of Middle Eastern food - I can tell you right now that Huda's pita was the BEST pita I've ever had in my life. Perfectly fluffy and soft, paired with the butter... just incredible. And both the batata harra and the charred eggplant were so amazing. Beautiful textures and deep flavors. Next, we had the macarona bil toum - little knudi pasta in a lemony garlic sauce. The pasta tasted so freshly made and the sauce was addicting - we almost thought about ordering more pita to wipe the plate clean. Then, to end our mains, we landed on the shish barak (think: beef dumplings with yogurt sauce) and arguably the highlight of our night: duck confit msakhan. We couldn't finish all the shish barak but the yogurt sauce was so rich and the filling was so flavorful - took it home. The msakhan, though?!?! My partner kept repeating over and over and over that the this was the best duck he's ever had in his life. I had to tell him that's a tall statement but he really meant it. Tender with a crispy skin, the onion and sumac flavor penetrated through the entire piece of leg, and the fresh taboon bread underneath it, soaked in the duck jus and more caramelized onion... wow wow wow. This is a MUST if you come here. Ended the night with their olive oil cake (made with Nabulsi olive oil) topped with a Meyer lemon whipped topping - a little dense as one can expect but the Meyer lemon was strong in a great way and the texture was lovely! Beyond food, service was so amazing. Everyone was so lovely and pleasant. We finished off the night with one more drink - we asked the bartender if we could take their za'atar N/A beverage and make it alcoholic. Of course they said yes and so I got it with tequila while my partner got his with mezcal. Absolutely delicious and fresh. The space is beautiful, full of ambient lighting and the vibe is just very well done. Everything was perfect. If you made it to the end of this, I hope this has convinced you to come to Huda. We had the best time and I can say for certain that the food was the best Levantine cuisine I've ever had. Thank you so much Huda team for a wonderful evening! (P.S. they gave us a beautiful sticker of Falasteen's flag with our receipt. Cherry on top!)

The favs: RAKAKAT: combination of flavor and texture was very good. BATATA HARRA: literally cube hash browns but who doesn't like hash browns! The okays: SHISH BARAK: filling was a bit bland, once cut the tortellini open, suggest to pour the sauce in before you eat. SMASHED CUCUMBERS: it was okay but could be better. Smashed cucumber on top of labne literally. The not loved: FATTET LAHME: this dish was very bland. Where are the flavors??? --- The appetizers came with a huge side of harissa or labne or something, full of dip and flavor. The entree could use some flavor as well, would be ideal if they served it all together or provide a sauce/dip side for the entree.

Is this worth a schlep to BK if you live in Manhattan? Probably not. But if you don't mind a field trip or just happen to be in the area, Huda is a better bang for your buck than most of the other buzz-worthy spots in Billyburg. Just keep in mind that Huda--as with most Middle Eastern / Levantine restaurants in NYC--serves more upscale, fancified, Westernized fare rather than the Maqluba your Jordanian grandma used to make. Case in point: Huda's Fattoush. Almost every version of fattoush I've had in NYC strays far from the original mixture of parsley, dill, other herbs and pita croutons. Huda's was no different. It had way too many red winter chicories and anjou pears, not enough parsley and other green herbs, and an overly tart and pungent dressing that made me gag as we neared the bottom. Grade: F The Mansef, thankfully, was better--served with a hugely generous chunk of perfectly cooked lamb, loads of fried onions/shallots and lots of springy rice. My one quibble--having had the real deal several times in Jordan and other Middle Eastern countries--is that the rice wasn't spiced enough. I should be able to SMELL the cinnamon a mile away. Grade: B The winner of our meal was undoubtedly the Msakhan, a gorgeous marriage of perfectly toasted handmade bread with perfectly roasted sea-caught branzino, with sumac, tahini and taboon acting as the flower girl, ringbearer and usher. I thought I was sick of branzino. Every restaurant has a branzino dish these days--it's the Taylor Swift of fish. But apparently I wasn't because I could've died happy if Huda's Msakhan was my last bite on earth. For libations, do yourself a favor and get the mint tea. The pot might be hot (it should be, if it's made of real pewter), but you won't regret the brew. Plus, antioxidants.

A new restaurant in Brooklyn and a must try! The foods were delicious. Since the place is new, it was a bit chaotic getting a table despite being on the waitlist for a long time (over 1.5 hours), but we got bar seats, the night was great! The bartenders were fun and made the dining experience a positive memory. The cocktails were also unique and refreshing.
