    Italian Sushi.

Bacan has recently revamped! The new Chef and team were exceptional. You start off with an Apertivo of cheese, bread and olives (bread made in-house!). Their menu has a good range of traditional (pizzas, pastas) and innovative (Italian Sushi?! Try it you'll see...). Overall positive rating for the staff, food and ambience. Bellisimo.

We went in on a Sunday night without a reservation and were able to get a table for 2 immediately. The cocktails that I tried were all delicious and we just split a Caesar salad with added anchovies. I cannot comment on the pasta and I know this area of Williamsburg is loaded with Italian restaurants so there is a lot of competition but I can't wait to come back for a full meal sometime. The service was super attentive and the restaurant was not very busy at all. The interior is modern and trendy. The price was fair for how good everything was.

Very cute and intimate restaurant. Lots of nice natural lighting and comfortable seats. The meatballs were pretty good! I wish the toast/bread was a bit more to accompany though. The rigatoni sauce was really good-not sure if there's an option to add protein so maybe I'll request that next time but it was good on its own. Drinks were fine, and service was attentive.

The food here is amazing - a little over priced but really delicious. The service however is terrible, unfortunately. Even with open spots they sat us at a table outside that was super wobbly and would tip over if we started eating. We eventually asked them to move us, which they did. Apps came out relatively normal, but the entrees took like 40 mins and we only ended up having one round of drinks because the waiter never came back to check if we wanted anything. We got the octopus, steak, and the pesto all of which were delicious. If you just go there for the food and do not have expectations of service, you will be fine.

Came to Bacàn after finding out that the wait for Aurora across the street was an hour long. I was hesitant of Bacàn at first because of some of the Yelp reviews, but honestly, I'm surprised this place has a 3-star rating. Overall, the food was good! I got the pappardelle bolognese and I liked that the dish wasn't too heavy like it can sometimes be. That said, my main grievance about this meal was the portion size I received. It really was not a lot of food for a pasta dish and honestly wasn't super filling. I know they're going for a tapas-style experience, but since this pasta was listed under the mains section of the menu, I didn't expect to receive a tapas-sized portion. I got the Paper Plan to drink -- not sure if bourbon and aperol is a common combination, but I thought the drink was unique and tasty (if you like bourbon, that is). I did love the vibe inside the restaurant with nice lighting and cool artwork. Service was attentive with several different people waiting on us throughout the meal.

You need to run, not walk to Bacàn! First of all, they seat you in the most comfortable chairs. I've never been so comfortable at dinner. Then, they served me, quite possibly, one of the absolute best meals I've ever had. The Rigatoni Amatriciana is an absolute gem of a dish and is not to be overlooked. The depth of flavor blew my mind and tastebuds. A perfect amount of spice and such a well cooked amount of guanciale. This will, no doubt, be my new comfort food. If you find yourself in Williamsburg, head over for a fantastic meal in a wonderful little restaurant.

BEST SPOT IN BILLYSBURG! Music? Check! Service? Check! Food...IT BANGS! Seriously, it's beautiful and deserves to be experienced by all. In a strange way, it feels like a home away from home. They're always very willing to accommodate whoever they can. Wine selection is also very thoughtful. Love the red wines as well. Check it out. You should be there already.

Cute Italian-based date night spot. We ordered: - gnocchi romani - (5/5) holy crap this was good. These are not your traditional gnocchi, but so flavorful and the crispy basil was perfect. - Caesar salad -(4.5/5) larger than expected which was nice. Good flavors, well balanced. Would have loved even more anchovies :) - agnolotti (4/5) - solid dish. Would be curious to try their other pastas. The vibe: we sat outside which was nice but the location is a bit awkward since it's on the corner of Grand and Kent, and theres a lot of cars/action happening. Next time I would sit inside (was a good set up in there). Overall a solid spot!

Super cute and fun place with fancy apperitifs. I was only here for a few drinks so my review is limited to that. I must say the drinks here are a bit different so do not expected your regular run of the mill. Paradiso Spritz is super refreshing and perfect for a warm toasty afternoon. My friend ordered Negroni, it was a bit different than what you would expect. We also ordered a caprese pizza just to fill ourselves with some carbs and that one small dish could totally explain what this place is all about. Bread made in-house, mouth watering cheese, super fresh ingredients and quality food. I have to visit this place again for a proper meal to be able to justify this review.

Love the ambiance and food! The service was on point. Do not expect to get typical "Italian sized" dishes! It is an Italian tapas bar. Each dishes were exquisitely tasteful with bursting flavors. I would recommend coming here. I would recommend ordering the pasta and the pulpo! All the food is fairly healthy and taste like home cooked meal

Nice Cozy place for drinks. They do have an authentic italian menu as well. We also ordered Bruschetta along with the drinks and the portion was very small.. The drinks were alright... nothing extraordinary.. The service was very good - kind and nice folks all around...

Had a great meal here with a friend! I think this would be a great date spot, the chairs were super comfy, the lighting was perfect for a date and felt intimate. My one complaint was the table next to us was a group of 5 and they were taking photos of each other all night with the flash on and were SO loud but that is certainly not the fault of the restaurant - did make me think it could be a good group dinner spot as well. We had the charcuterie board but with no meat, I imagine the meat would have been nice but friend was a vegetarian. Also got the pesto pasta with nice thick noodles that I LOVED the cook and texture of it. We also got the pistachio dessert that was so unexpectedly amazing, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was almost like a thick pudding pistachio bottom with a moist cake on top I think that might have been my fav dish of the night!

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip.
