Pizzette is an absolute neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly and attentive! They have a great happy hour with amazing drinks. The food and pizzas are great (I've had basically all of them at this point!) my favorite is the fig + goat. The salad was overly dressed. The pasta seemed fresh and tasty, and probably the only thing I'd order again. But I'd rather go to Testo where I know I'm bound to have a great Italian meal. Love a restaurant with a happy hour! Came for the happy hour, stayed for the food. Ordered the blood orange aperol spritz and oysters. I'm not normally a spritz person but this was refreshing and tasty! Oysters were fine, entrees were better! The chicken parm was tasty as was the carbonara. Portions could've been a tiny bit bigger but I enjoyed the food. Surprisingly, I felt like the star of the show was the mini pizzas! So I attended this restaurant for a private event. Sharing my perspective of things I observed. I'll start with the positives, [[HIGHLIGHT]]cute and quaint decor. The event space itself was in the back , the event hosts did a great job decorating the space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food selection was just ok, I think my favs were definitely the calamari and Greek salad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The negatives were quite a few, I thought it was odd that there weren't any coats racks or coat room. So all the guests jackets were just tucked on the random chair, looking quite messy behind some corner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While the event was actively going on, noticed that the busboys and waiters were just going through the party with equipment and dishes and all with no sense of care. The catered food was also plated on oven racks( a bit tacky for restaurant) . Also on the waitress note, they one had one lady running the orders and drinks which was sad, because orders were getting mixed up and taking a lot longer than usual. Why not just add more workers? Especially since this is a paid catered event. Overall I think there's a lot of room for improvement to be made if they want a lot more future events held there. read more

Our server came over to take our drink order. I wanted a glass of Rosé wine. They didn't have any, but the server suggested we order the organic wine. We went with a bottle because they were 50% off on Thursdays. Umm, yes, please! We had the half-priced ($1.50) oysters, which were good. A totally new and unexpected combination for me, perfectly balanced between the spiciness of the arugula and the mild sweetness of the figs, I would get it again. Pizzette has been on my list for ages and I was attempting to go to Win Son on Monday (oops they are closed....) so Pizzette looked appealing and had a great happy hour. Pizzette has the feel of an old school Italian place in the suburbs, but it's actually fresh, new and hip. On Monday they have $1 oysters all night, up to 6 pp and $5 draft beer, $7 rose and $9 aperol spritz until 7pm. In 2023 that's a great happy hour. My friend and I split the fig and goat cheese pizza, as well as the linguini and clams. Both are excellent and filling portions. Lastly, we sat at the bar which gave us quick and helpful service from both bartenders. They were both great and helped us navigate some tough menu decisions. read more

This was a great find! Great for a date night or a fun dinner group. The pizza was crispy and thin, with the perfect amount of sauce. The pastas are very fresh and light, nothing felt heavy and everything tasted authentically home made. Get in my belly! Me and my girlfriend went after work to catch up and enjoy some oysters. Woweee it was delicious. The location was beautiful and so relaxing. The Sza album was playing, the fountain was running and the food was delicious. We ordered the burrata, oysters and the flambee pizza. We ordered a series of desserts- basil ice cream, molten cake and the tiramisu. It was all so good. We stayed there for over 3 hours just talking and eating. I was looking for a place with a good oyster deal, and I stumbled on this one, and oh boy, how great this place is. The staff was friendly, and we were seated promptly in the outside area. We went for happy hour oysters and drinks. It is 1 dollar oyster from 4 pm to 7 pm and all-day happy hour oysters on Monday. They also have frozen margaritas, beer, and something else for happy hour prices. Once we finished with oysters, we had Burrata salad and garlic bread, and both were great. The crust of the bread was so crunchy, and the soft part melted in the mouth. Burrata salad was light and exactly what you need on a hot evening. Normally this is one of our go to spots for $1 Happy Hour Oysters (4pm - 7pm) but our last visit this week left a bad taste. Firstly - the staff here is beyond charming and lovely. Literally the sweetest and most amazing so tip them well if you go because finding good staff is hard these days! Second - the drinks are always solid! We typically get the Aperol Spritz, Negroni, or Peroni Beer but this last visit we tried the Frozen Marg and it too was great! Not to sweet and boozy which is what I like! Third - maybe we just got it on a bad day but I will never order the house burrata again. It was very firm, nothing about it was the texture of burrata & they had such a weird sauce on and around it. If you want good burrata hit up Bar Piti in Manhattan. This last visit we arrived on a Monday which meant ALL OYSTERS ARE $1!! We got a mix of three different ones & a couple long neck clams. All in all they were great but we were not fans of the Malpeque. Ironically enough when we ordered 12 additional Blue Points I think that's the one they gave us as (the Malpeque's) as they 100000% were not Blue Points. Additionally to not being the oysters we ordered they smelled like FISH. The lemons they served with them also smelled like fish and were sooooo visably old. Needless to say the fishy lemons were not used and I only had a few of the fishy smelling oysters before deciding it wasn't worth the risk. My partner with a stomach of steel braved it - but we should have sent them back! We've tried their other foods (antipasti, pizzas, calamari) but for us the only reason to go here is the Happy Hour. We have never been impressed with the regular menu food as it's been either undercooked (seafood pizza was so raw it was send back and even the replacement was undercooked. They have since taken it off the menu) or just weird (the burrata). So - if you are willing to give it a try the HH oysters are normally great (I think we just happened upon old oysters on our visit this week) and the drinks are fantastic and the staff amazing. I would just avoid the rest of it. ‍ MY STAR RATING 0-5 Service: 4 Food: 2 Space/Ambiance: 3 Price/Value: 3 Just so we're clear on my rating. I rate as 3 stars being average and we go up and down from there based on the whole experience, not just the food. Came in with a friend for saturday brunch right as they opened. We had the place to ourselves. We sat in the back area with the fountain and it had a nice ambiance. We each got the eggs benedict and bottomless mimosas. The eggs benedict was standard brunch fare, but the eggs were a bit over done, potatoes were well cooked and flavored. We asked multiple times about the return of this deposit, with many witnesses. They said they would do so. We have in writing that 1) we would not be charged for the space and 2) what we paid in cash is the total, all included. Now, they are dismissive and lying and say they just refuse to return our deposit - their words exactly: "It is what it is"! We gave them so much business on a rainy mid-afternoon when they had no customers. I truly cannot believe it. I can't think of another pizza after eating the Flambee that I have ever had in my 50 years that I enjoyed as much as this one. The combination of the ricotta cheese mixture with the grilled onions, mushrooms and crispy bacon crumbles topped off with whatever they sprinkled on top made every bite better than the last. Even as the pizza started to cool down on my hotel table while I stuffed my face, every bite screamed for more. Yes, I ate the whole thing. I'm torn about whether to order another one before I head home from this area or try one of the other intriguing pizzas on the menu. BTW this was a delivery order so no experience on the location or service. PS I've now used the Yelp app for many years, at least 6-8, as I travel for work to different areas of the country often but have never felt the need to write a review. Pizzette has easily won my heart as a brunch restaurant. The brunch special is any main dish, a brunch cocktail and a coffee/tea for $20. You can't beat that. The food is quite good and the portions are HUGE. Seriously, I have not came across and Italian restaurant with such big portions. Please never change that lol. I had the pesto and substituted out the bow ties for linguini. My bf had the Parpadelle in bolognese. Both our meals were delicious...The staff is super friendly.
