my boyfriend and I have been coming here for 3 years, my go to is the prosciutto pizza with a Caesar salad with a limoncello . the service is immaculate, the owner is literally here everyday behind the bar, he also makes the best pizza and drinks! super fun atmosphere, but there's also nights where it could be super intimate. we love Aura so much!!! best hostess ever. we will come here forever and ever :) thank you for your service read more

Have been walking by for years and finally decided to bring my friends... unfortunately I'm going to keep walking by for years to come unless it's to get oysters during happy hour. The pizza was disappointing. It didn't feel melty, the crust was subpar and a bit too crunchy, and the meatballs were cold and tasteless - I had to add salt to the entire pie to bring up the flavor. The salad was overly dressed. The pasta seemed fresh and tasty, and probably the only thing I'd order again. But I'd rather go to Testo where I know I'm bound to have a great Italian meal. The staff and ambiance were cute, so for now I'll chalk this up to a HH or Just drinks spot. read more

I always love coming to Pizzette for the Spicy Pizza and Aperol Spritz! Service is always great and never have to question the food, it's always so tasty! Hubby and I went recently for a late lunch... we sat outside in the front and this time we tried the fig and goat pizza which was amazing! The combo was savory and sweet. We actually ended up trying to replicate the recipe on our own at home.. total fail lol but we'll be back again soon. read more

We recently hosted a baby shower at Pizzette for around 30 guests (including kids), and everything was fantastic. Steve made the entire planning process super easy and stress-free with great communication. The space fit our group comfortably, and all our guests raved about the delicious pizza and pasta. Highly recommend booking an event here! read more

Take a little trip to Italy without leaving NYC. Enjoy authentic drinks such as their Limoncello whilst in the ambiance of a unique Italian restaurant. The food is so flavorful and unique as someone who has nerve gone to Italy, I was more than excited to try new foods, and things that I knew I couldn't get anywhere else! I highly recommend their homemade burrata, and you can never go wrong by with pizza! Especially when all the ingredients taste so fresh. Didn't mention that they have pasta and their mozzarella and Limoncello is made in house. Treat yourself and a loved one and teleport to Europe without ever leaving Brooklyn. read more

Love a restaurant with a happy hour! Came for the happy hour, stayed for the food. Ordered the blood orange aperol spritz and oysters. I'm not normally a spritz person but this was refreshing and tasty! Oysters were fine, entrees were better! The chicken parm was tasty as was the carbonara. Portions could've been a tiny bit bigger but I enjoyed the food. Surprisingly, I felt like the star of the show was the mini pizzas! You can choose different flavors and it's a great way to start the meal. I literally said "I think we should order a pizza to go.." after trying those! We didn't haha but it definitely made me curious to come back and try some other flavors. read more

Pizzette is an absolute neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly and attentive! They have a great happy hour with amazing drinks. The food and pizzas are great (I've had basically all of them at this point!) my favorite is the fig + goat. The fountain in the back room is super cute, the fairy lights and patio are a nice touch. Some weekends the street closes and you can sit outside with more elbow room. I absolutely love pizzette AND they do private events too! read more

So I attended this restaurant for a private event. Sharing my perspective of things I observed. I'll start with the positives, cute and quaint decor. The event space itself was in the back , the event hosts did a great job decorating the space. The food selection was just ok, I think my favs were definitely the calamari and Greek salad. The negatives were quite a few, I thought it was odd that there weren't any coats racks or coat room. So all the guests jackets were just tucked on the random chair, looking quite messy behind some corner. While the event was actively going on, noticed that the busboys and waiters were just going through the party with equipment and dishes and all with no sense of care. The catered food was also plated on oven racks( a bit tacky for restaurant) . Also on the waitress note, they one had one lady running the orders and drinks which was sad, because orders were getting mixed up and taking a lot longer than usual. Why not just add more workers? Especially since this is a paid catered event. Overall I think there's a lot of room for improvement to be made if they want a lot more future events held there. read more

Casual dining, exceptional pizzas, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? We came here for dinner on a Thursday night. We grabbed a table outside. Our server came over to take our drink order. I wanted a glass of Rosé wine. They didn't have any, but the server suggested we order the organic wine. We went with a bottle because they were 50% off on Thursdays. Umm, yes, please! We had the half-priced ($1.50) oysters, which were good. We also had the Ortalana, a fall special pizza with butternut squash, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and rosemary and the Fresh Porcini pizza. Both pizzas were robustly flavorful and hands down outstanding! Bonus point because they bring over spicy oil for the table. A definite keeper! read more

The food was incredible, service was very attentive and quick, the interior is gorgeous.

Overall very cute place! Has outdoor street seating with umbrellas too to enjoy the nice weather. I'd originally rate this as 4 stars but I think our server was overwhelmed and it seemed to be like she was the only person serving so a bit of service was slow. There is a cheap bottomless option for $18 but it is only for an hour. The pesto genovese was pretty good although I'd suggest the option of adding meat if that's possible. The vodka pasta was underwhelming and it was my least favorite of the pastas, it tasted a bit weird. read more

Loved it! Great pizza toppings and the dough is delicious. Nice little char on the crust and I ate every last bite of the two pizzas that we got. They're pretty big so sharing was the right choice. Why they didn't get 5-stars: the oysters were OKAY but not a ton of flavor. read more

From the moment you walk into Pizzette, you feel like you've discovered a hidden gem in Brooklyn. The vintage Italian bar vibe is cozy, charming, and effortlessly cool. We started with the housemade burrata -- unbelievably creamy and fresh -- then shared a thin-crust pizza that was light, crispy, and topped with gooey homemade mozzarella. The pasta? Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. The spritz menu was also a standout -- the perfect way to kick off the night. Every detail felt intentional, from the friendly service to the ambient music. It's the kind of place you'd bring a date, your best friend, or your foodie crew. Highly recommend if you're looking for an authentic Italian experience that doesn't feel pretentious -- just really, really good. read more

Stopped by in the afternoon and shared 6 oysters along with the fig and goat pizza! Surprised by how big the oysters were and the pizza was solid - felt like a king being brought chili pepper flakes, chili oil, hot honey, and hot sauce to spice up our pizza. Happy Hour specials, Outdoor Seating, Solid Martinis and delicious Pizza, what more do you need? My first time trying a fig and goat cheese arugula pizza and I love it. A totally new and unexpected combination for me, perfectly balanced between the spiciness of the arugula and the mild sweetness of the figs, I would get it again. The pizza is served on an old tomato can which is cute and unique. The food came quickly as did the drinks. Martini was made to my preference, perfection. I got one of the worst cases of food poisoning after ordering from here. For reference, all I got was the arancini and the goat cheese pizza. By the next morning I was sicker than I have been in years. It took me days to recover and has ruined arancini for me for the foreseeable future. Dine at your own risk and make sure you don't have anything important to do the next day, I assure you, you won't be able to get up. read more

Pizzette has been on my list for ages and I was attempting to go to Win Son on Monday (oops they are closed....) so Pizzette looked appealing and had a great happy hour. Pizzette has the feel of an old school Italian place in the suburbs, but it's actually fresh, new and hip. On Monday they have $1 oysters all night, up to 6 pp and $5 draft beer, $7 rose and $9 aperol spritz until 7pm. In 2023 that's a great happy hour. My friend and I split the fig and goat cheese pizza, as well as the linguini and clams. Both are excellent and filling portions. Lastly, we sat at the bar which gave us quick and helpful service from both bartenders. They were both great and helped us navigate some tough menu decisions. read more

Great pizza, great drinks, and great service! Love this place, always a good time. Great for big groups as well

This was a great find! Great for a date night or a fun dinner group. The pizza was crispy and thin, with the perfect amount of sauce. The pastas are very fresh and light, nothing felt heavy and everything tasted authentically home made. The only thing maybe i would take points off for if the food wasnt so good was that the wait time for our food was pretty long, and took a good while to come out after ordering. But hopefully will be back! read more

Get in my belly! Me and my girlfriend went after work to catch up and enjoy some oysters. Woweee it was delicious. The location was beautiful and so relaxing. The Sza album was playing, the fountain was running and the food was delicious. We ordered the burrata, oysters and the flambee pizza. We ordered a series of desserts- basil ice cream, molten cake and the tiramisu. It was all so good. We stayed there for over 3 hours just talking and eating. There was no feelings of being rushed out and we had a great time. I look forward to returning read more

I was looking for a place with a good oyster deal, and I stumbled on this one, and oh boy, how great this place is. The staff was friendly, and we were seated promptly in the outside area. We went for happy hour oysters and drinks. It is 1 dollar oyster from 4 pm to 7 pm and all-day happy hour oysters on Monday. They also have frozen margaritas, beer, and something else for happy hour prices. Once we finished with oysters, we had Burrata salad and garlic bread, and both were great. The crust of the bread was so crunchy, and the soft part melted in the mouth. Burrata salad was light and exactly what you need on a hot evening. A very chill place that has a great atmosphere and is great for companies. read more

Normally this is one of our go to spots for $1 Happy Hour Oysters (4pm - 7pm) but our last visit this week left a bad taste. Firstly - the staff here is beyond charming and lovely. Literally the sweetest and most amazing so tip them well if you go because finding good staff is hard these days! Second - the drinks are always solid! We typically get the Aperol Spritz, Negroni, or Peroni Beer but this last visit we tried the Frozen Marg and it too was great! Not to sweet and boozy which is what I like! Third - maybe we just got it on a bad day but I will never order the house burrata again. It was very firm, nothing about it was the texture of burrata & they had such a weird sauce on and around it. If you want good burrata hit up Bar Piti in Manhattan. This last visit we arrived on a Monday which meant ALL OYSTERS ARE $1!! We got a mix of three different ones & a couple long neck clams. All in all they were great but we were not fans of the Malpeque. Ironically enough when we ordered 12 additional Blue Points I think that's the one they gave us as (the Malpeque's) as they 100000% were not Blue Points. Additionally to not being the oysters we ordered they smelled like FISH. The lemons they served with them also smelled like fish and were sooooo visably old. Needless to say the fishy lemons were not used and I only had a few of the fishy smelling oysters before deciding it wasn't worth the risk. My partner with a stomach of steel braved it - but we should have sent them back! We've tried their other foods (antipasti, pizzas, calamari) but for us the only reason to go here is the Happy Hour. We have never been impressed with the regular menu food as it's been either undercooked (seafood pizza was so raw it was send back and even the replacement was undercooked. They have since taken it off the menu) or just weird (the burrata). So - if you are willing to give it a try the HH oysters are normally great (I think we just happened upon old oysters on our visit this week) and the drinks are fantastic and the staff amazing. I would just avoid the rest of it. ‍ MY STAR RATING 0-5 Service: 4 Food: 2 Space/Ambiance: 3 Price/Value: 3 Just so we're clear on my rating. I rate as 3 stars being average and we go up and down from there based on the whole experience, not just the food. If I'm giving a 5 star review it's because the experience was exceptionally above average from start to end and everything in between. read more

I came alone on a Friday night to enjoy some $1 oysters and was super pleased with the vibes/overall ambiance. It's very romantic - candlelight, small intimate front dining room with a larger space at the back. I sat at the bar and service was fast + friendly. The kitchen is open (you can see it from the bar) and very clean. Good selection of wine and good quality oysters. I really loved the cocktail I had also; the Capri Spritz was a refreshing twist on one of my favorites. Complex, refreshing and not too sweet. Drinks were half price since I came in during happy hour. Will definitely be returning! read more

Delicious, delicious bolognese!! I'd come back just for that. The chicken parm is solid. Great service, cute spot. 4.5/5!

I can't think of another pizza after eating the Flambee that I have ever had in my 50 years that I enjoyed as much as this one. The combination of the ricotta cheese mixture with the grilled onions, mushrooms and crispy bacon crumbles topped off with whatever they sprinkled on top made every bite better than the last. Even as the pizza started to cool down on my hotel table while I stuffed my face, every bite screamed for more. Yes, I ate the whole thing. I'm torn about whether to order another one before I head home from this area or try one of the other intriguing pizzas on the menu. BTW this was a delivery order so no experience on the location or service. PS I've now used the Yelp app for many years, at least 6-8, as I travel for work to different areas of the country often but have never felt the need to write a review. While I've had plenty of good food that was deserving of a review, I always just put it off and never follow through. Well, this pizza just got me to write my very first review. Cheers! Maybe I'll start writing more. read more

Came in with a friend for saturday brunch right as they opened. We had the place to ourselves. We sat in the back area with the fountain and it had a nice ambiance. ***Reply to owner's comment: Now you are claiming this is for the space. But prior to the event and even right as we were paying afterward, you and your employees told us explicitly that it would be refunded. If you want to charge a room fee post-hoc, you should not have dishonestly told us this charge would be refunded right before we paid in full! See in their comment they are implicitly agreeing that they were originally going to refund this charge. Maybe you thought you would be getting more money from Splacer, but please do not lie about this - you and I both know the truth of what you said. We have this in writing.*** Original review: Horrible service - please do not visit and support dishonest liars who do not treat their customers with respect or any decency at all. I have never written a poor review about service - just want to emphasize that please do not come here and support this deceitful business. We hosted an event here and we paid the full amount in cash afterward, and now they won't refund our credit card deposit. We confirmed several times before paying that they would return the deposit. Now they are claiming the deposit is for the space -- prior to the event, they said that they would not charge for the space because we were hosting it during non-peak hours. We asked multiple times about the return of this deposit, with many witnesses. They said they would do so. We have in writing that 1) we would not be charged for the space and 2) what we paid in cash is the total, all included. Now, they are dismissive and lying and say they just refuse to return our deposit - their words exactly: "It is what it is"! We gave them so much business on a rainy mid-afternoon when they had no customers. I truly cannot believe it. Please don't visit - there are so many better Italian restaurants around the city. read more

I'm not usually a yelp reviewer so please take my 5 stars as evidence of a truly fantastic experience. I was lucky enough to be served by Steve, the owner, who provided 5 star conversation and service. I'm a believer that good food is easy, but human connection is what really makes you come back. It feels like a rarity to leave a restaurant feeling not just full physically, but mentally and emotionally, and that's what really sets a restaurant apart from the crowd of endless choices. I'm so excited to come back, as I felt myself lusting over other tables orders! A huge thank you to Steve for providing a bright spot in a blighted week. And! Do try the house made limoncello!
