A cute little spot with a yummy (albeit limited) food menu. We went in on a Monday around 6:30 and were able to grab a table right away. You order at the bar and there was no real "table service". What we ordered: my friends and I split the spinach artichoke dip and a Margherita pizza and the pizza which had peas on it. The dip was nothing to brag on, but the pizzas were delicious. This is definitely more of a drinks and snackies type of place over a dinner place. We had a good experience overall!

What a great first date for the New Year! This place was the absolute pleasure!!! For starters, upon arrival we were warmly greeted, told to grab a menu and to sit anywhere we'd like. It's a Tuesday evening, after 6 pm and the vibe was calm and refreshing. After reviewing the menu, we picked: - Lake of Fire Pizza (Jalapeños on the side) - Pepperoni Pizza w/ Basil - Meat and Cheese Platter Pick 4: 2. Brie, 5. Cheddar, A. Prosciutto and the final one I can't remember the name, but it's slightly spicy - 1 Seasonal Sangria - 3 Glasses of sparkling wine - Manhattan From the service to the very last sip of wine, we enjoyed every moment here. We'll definitely be back

Honestly probably should have got just a regular pizza my first time coming here because the elote did not satisfy. The bread was good and it seemed like they have great cheese but this just didn't hit the spot. Would love to try another pizza of theirs though!

Stopped by here with my wife for dinner and the food was very good! It was full of flavor and didn't seem overly expensive for the area. We got a pretzel and a margarita pizza and we were very happy with our decision. The vibe was nice and I like how people were allowed to bring their dogs in.

This is one of my favorite spots in Brooklyn. I love the ambiance inside and usually hang indoors, but they also have plenty of outdoor seating as well. You do have to order at the bar. They have nice wines and typically 4 pizza options that seem to vary from time to time! I usually split a couple of different pizzas with my friends when I go (which are all delicious) but this time I tried the cheese pretzel with mustard and a garlic cheese spread and it was SO good.

The Esters in Greenpoint is a neighborhood wine bar serving delicious pan pizzas in a casual ambiance. We went for dinner and had some wine, pepperoni and Ms Florence Capra (spinach, red onion, goat cheese, ricotta, shaved garlic and aged balsamela) pizzas. The pizza was perfect to share, delicious and crispy on the edges. We wish this place was closer to our apartment because it's a true gem and well worth a stop

Such delicious pizza. The crust is both thick and airy. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese, both fresh and high quality. Didn't skimp on the pepperoni. Great vibe. My friend promised "the most delicious lesbian pizza" by which I think she meant either the owner or the chef is lesbian. Regardless, highly recommend!

WHAT AN ABSOLUTE PLEASURE!!! As soon as we walked in we were greeting by an amazing smile ( Carley... hope i spelled that correctly) the drinks were great, the pizza BETTER! Then has the pleasure of meeting Stephanie another Joy! Top it off, we got some great neighborhood tips from Matty who told us about a great spot t check out. We did & our Saturday was perfect! We will for sure return. Love how everyone here is so open, friendly and the vibe just makes it all so amazing! See you all soon!

This was a great spot to catch up with an old friend. It was quiet but the bar keep was friendly and the vibe was chill. I didn't order it but the pizza smelled divine. Shout out for a killer Negroni cocktail.

First of all- their pizza is phenomenal (5 stars every day). But- their service could really use a boost (deducted 2 stars for this). Food comes out family style- had to ask the waitress for plates. Then had to ask again for forks. The restaurant doesn't have knives. Period. Kind of an odd thing not to have. All in- I do recommend eating here, the food is that good. But plan to have to ask for everything you would expect to have at a table.

Been meaning to go here forever because it's so cute especially the outdoor seating. I have to say I was just a bit disappointed due to the small selection of a bit pricey food and the pizza I did get was super oily and not too special in my opinion. Always full of people though so I'll have to go back and try something else.

Yam it up (left) and Model T (right)

Tried The Esters for the first time on a Thursday night in October. It took maybe 10 minutes to wait for a table to open up but while we waited we started talking to a couple who also had a dog with them. She gave ours treats and was very nice -- turns out she's the owner! It was a good sign to see the owner dining at their own restaurant. We got tow pizzas -- the Model T and the Yam it up. We were apprehensive about the yam pizza based on the ingredients but once we tried it, it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. Both were amazing. The have a pretty extensive drink list and a versatile non-alcoholic drink list, which not many places have. Another nice touch is that the pizza came out on a little rack, so they didn't become soaked in grease while you ate. We've found our new neighborhood spot!

Super cool to stand at the bar for 15 minutes and be ignored when you're just trying to figure out if the kitchen is open.

Have never been for…read moredinner so can only speak for the lunch vibe, but I have found the service to be great and the lighting is nice because there are floor to ceiling windows. The menu is pretty diverse with various appetizers, sushi, and also ramen/curry so your standard izakaya fare. One of my favorite dishes here has been the chirashi. The fish was very fresh and it's pretty affordable. I've only ever been here in groups of two and I probably would recommend it for smaller groups because the space itself is small and most of the tables are two-seaters if I recall correctly.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.
