Food was delicious, we tried two pizzas and the homemade meatballs. Everything was full of flavor. The meatballs were so moist and amazing. Highly recommend! We came on a Sunday and street parking wasn't too bad!

Can confirm that they have amazing gluten free crust! On top of that the owner is so kind and enthusiastic about the food and clear about allergies. The gluten free crust does take a little longer to bake but not so long that it's uncomfortable. Make a reservation because it is a small shop and cozy but the staff is courteous and will leave you alone at you catch up with loved ones!

We came in at happy hour time (until 6 PM, discounted house cocktails and wine) on a Thursday. The drinks are on POINT - I got a spritz ($16 normal, $9 HH). and it was so refreshing on a warm summer day. Onto the food - Caprese Appetizer ($16) - this was just okay. The tomatoes were flavorless and the mozarella did not seem like the fresh kind. Then we ordered two small pizzas - the Margherita ($18) and Diablo ($21). These are perfect Neopolitan Style pizzas - with a fluffy chewy flavorful perfectly charred crust, thin layer of sweet sauce, and milky cheese. We ordered both pizzas thinking we would have leftovers, but ended up crushing them both completely. Partner said that "it was the best pizza I have ever had". The owner (I think, this is who we talked to throughout the meal) is clearly super passionate about his business - he sat us right at the bar and gave us top notch service and information about the restroom. Their $85k pizza oven is imported from Naples, Italy and cooks their pizza in 100 seconds flat. The interior is cute. Overall, a stellar Neopolitan Style pizza experience in New York.

Decided to stop by this place for pizza. The pizza didn't taste bad. However, on my second slice there was a long piece of what was either hair or fabric fiber. My drink had fruit flies in it. I did get a new one after speaking up but I never said anything about the pizza because I was exhausted about complaining . When I went up to pay I even seen some fruit flies flying around, waiting to fly into somebody's drink. Overall just needs to be more sanitary.

This place is great, and a bit of a hidden gem in the neighborhood. My family and I love the pizza and salads, and I especially appreciate how nice they are when I come in with my son and his friends most weeks after Skateyogi (located upstairs). The meatballs are a hit with the kids as well. Service is always fast and friendly. Also a fantastic option to get pizza for a picnic in the park.

Small but very nice pizzeria with smooth jazz playing softly as you dine.

Well, it would be a sin to visit NYC and not get a pizza! Macoletta had great reviews and wasn't bored down with 2 hour lines like some other places. So we have Macoletta a shot! As we entered, we were greeted by a very friendly server who immediately sat us. He followed up with taking our drink orders quickly. He explained the menu to us, being it was our first time there. He misunderstood my stepson, thinking he wasn't going to eat, and bright him out a few lava cake! When he realized it was a misunderstanding, we had a good laugh. We ordered a meat lovers pizza and a pizza with lamb sausage and baked tomatoes. Both were delicious! Now, being from Chicago, we, of course, were not picking their pizza, lol. My meat lovers were large in size for 2-4 people, while the lamb sausage pizza was a smaller size for 1-2. Considering most Americans, I'd say the sizes are appropriate mostly for the lower end of each estimate. The large might eb ok for 3, but 4 would be pushing it Each pizza tasted very fresh. The sauce was delicious but wasn't spiced up with as much garlic, oregano, etc, that achicago pizzas are accustomed to. That being said, we really enjoyed each pie. It wasn't the traditional huge fold up NYC pizza slices, but the flavor was there! The over the top friendly service, great pies, and no wait made this an excellent choice for us! I know it's NYC, but it did seem a little pricey for 2 pies, but our taste buds were left smiling! If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. It's definitely worth dropping, by, and ordering a pie!

This place is amazing!! We were hungry after pickleball and stopped by here and it did not disappoint. We ordered two large pies and it was enough for the 4 of us. We also had the peppers and peas and those were absolutely amazing too. The pepperoni was def my fav as it also has honey in it and gave it a nice sweet touch. If I am ever in the area again playing pickleball I would def come back! The servers were very attentive and refilled our waters and the seating area is pretty spacious

Came here after a long run and was seated right away on a Sunday afternoon. Popular spot for families with children, and between 4-5 tables and just one waitress, service felt a bit slow. Indoor dining is a bit dark, but nice and clean interior. The pizza however was AMAZING. Dough was chewy, the balsamic reduction is delicious. Highly recommend the stracciatella pizza. SO GOOD!

Had a great experience at Macoletta. The vibe is super cozy, staff is all super friendly, and they have great music playing overhead. The food was phenomenal! Wood fired pizzas and delicious meatballs! Definitely recommend!

Overall, this is a great place that I'd come back to. The service is nice and the interior is beautiful. The bianca and the algerino were 5/5's. The garlic in the bianca made it pop and the tomatoes in the algerino were fresh and a great pair with the lamb. I thought the festa di formaggi was a bit too much cheese and heavy, but if you love cheese, it may be a hit for you. Will definitely be coming back to try some more pizzas. Highly recommend when you're in Williamsburg.

A small, charming neighborhood spot in Brooklyn turning out beautiful thin crust pizzas. Attentive service and a relaxed vibe.

Ordered for take out here. Got 2 pizzas (Cara and Bianca), pita and cannoli. Pizzas were okay; the Bianca was a tad too salty. Cara was basically a salad pizza. Originally ordered a gelato but they didn't have gelato so they substituted with the cannoli. Since this was a pickup order, it would have been nice if the restaurant had handles on their bags. The day was pretty windy so carrying 2 paper bags on top of the pizza box was quite inconvenient. Or they could have consolidated into 1 bag instead of 2, the pita wasn't even hot.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.

Our friends raved about this place and we of course were excited (and a bit skeptical at first) to try it. The concept: no menu + no lights + a few questions = the ultimate cocktail experience. The speakeasy vibe and the dark ambiance really makes this place feel even more exclusive. With just a few tables and the bar setting, you're in for an experience you won't forget (unless you answer the wrong questions and really end up with a drink you don't like HA). This wasn't my case. Of course I described my two favorite things: Negroni + mezcal. The obvious answer would be a mezcal Negroni, but that's not why one comes to a place like Attaboy. Our amazing curator came by to ask us all a few questions, write down a few words in the napkins, and mix up the perfect drink that our master bartender crafts, curates and creates. My drink came as I couldn't possibly imagine. It looked like a Negroni smelled like Oaxaca, with all the smoke simmering up and preparing my sensory experience, leading to the best first sip. Ladies and gentleman, I introduce you to The Devil's Backbone. A perfectly balanced drink I'll never forget, one that is sipped slowly and enjoyed thoroughly. It's sexy, it's smoky it's sipped. Attaboy gave the best mixology experience and we can't wait to be back. Pro tip: be sure to be as vocal as possible, even with ice, so you don't end up with a tiki drink if that's not your vibe.
