I've passed this restaurant many times and finally made it in recently. I'd heard great things, but I still wasn't sure what to expect. It ended up exceeding every expectation. The space has a charming, rustic farmhouse vibe that makes it an ideal spot for a date. The drinks were excellent. They offer classics like martinis and negronis, along with Italian favorites like spritzes-- each given a unique twist. I tried the Aftermission, a martini made with gin, mezcal, and black sesame, and it was outstanding. The Paccheri alla Alberto -- beef bolognese -- was fantastic. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the ragu was rich, savory, and full of flavor. We also ordered the Coppa & Carciofi pizza, which had a great crust-to-cheese ratio. I wouldn't have minded a few extra pieces of hot coppa, but that's really just nitpicking. Overall, I loved my experience at Saraghina and can't believe I hadn't tried it sooner. I'll definitely be back.
As yummy as always. Haven't been in a while but good as always. We shared mixed salad, rosemary garlic focaccia and rigatoni Alberto (bolognese) then affogato for dessert. With an old Cuban cocktail and a glass of house montepulciano. Perfect!!! The bolognese was heavenly. Not too salty but super flavorful and the rigatoni was al dente. We will be back!!!!
Warm intimate decor...family friendly atomphere...good service..thats what I felt when I visited. We tried the whipped ricotta filled with olives and touch of lemon. It was paired with delicious warm foccocia bread. We tried a pizza and the beef bolonagese. The pasta with the bolonagese was a bit too undercooked...however the flavors were authentic
Awesome pizza and pasta. Tho place is a great neighborhood restaurant. In the evening there are a lot of families and couples coming in to have dinner and the service is great. The most delectable thing on the menu is the focaccia and the whipped ricotta. The ricotta has olive oil and olives in it and the bread is so soft. I also had a margate pizza and the bolognese which were all good. The place is dimly lit and the aromas are just amazing in there.
A friend and I went to brunch here on a Sunday. Walked in with the resy and got seated immediately. The staff are friendly and attentive. The vibes are very casual and it feels like a nice neighborhood spot. This area used to be my stomping grounds like 10 years ago when my bestie lives on the same block in our twenties! So many great memories though the neighborhood has changed a lot! We shared the mushroom pizza with ham. It's was really tasty and had a strong mushroom flavor, almost like a little truffle oil might've been used but not sure. The pizza had a thin crust and was tasty. We also shared the double cheeseburger. It was a simple classic cheeseburger done right! Very filling and tasty. It came with shoestring fries. I also got the Italiano Margarita. It tasted like a regular margarita but I liked that it wasn't overly sweet and the presentation with the rosemary stem and salt was cute! No frills. Cute space. Nice staff. Good menu. I'd go back!
Saraghina is part of the first wave of quality Neapolitan pizza joints in the city, and their cozy yet somehow expansive location deep in Bed-Stuy is the original. What did we like? The ortolana pizza was an excellent medley of squash, pungent garlic, and mozzarella that mostly made up for the lack of chewiness and pull in the dough, which is what can really make these pies sing. As a long-time fanatic for Roman's mashed fava dip, I had to try Saraghina's rendition which unfortunately is served without that amazing She Wolf sourdough we all love, and one must make do with a fork. We loved the greens, although the fava could have been a bit smoother.
My friend and i stepped in here after a sudden craving for pizza! We walked in on a Tuesday around 7 and was immediately sat. The service was really nice and attentive without it being overbearing. The ambiance was very cute- low lighting and not super loud so i can see this being a place to catch up with friends or even a cure first date. The bartender was able to make me a Hugo spritz (which was really good) and my friend's rum cocktail was so delicious ! We would go back just for that drink (and the pizza of course). Their pizza sauce is very flavorful and the pizza is really good without it being oven burnt, which i love! I would come back for more food and vibes!
Saraghina is always the best choice. The vibe, the service, the food, the drinks, and everything about it is authentic and delicious. You HAVE to get the burrata and crispy brussels sprouts, and when it's in season, the Seasonal Ortalana (with squash). I always walk away from dinner full and feeling good.
We didn't mind waiting in the neighborhood until the restaurant opened for dinner at 5pm. It filled up quickly with a variety of people. The place is quaint and beautiful with dim lighting. We drank the spritz and bourbon cocktails......waiting for the food now

Great spot for dinner with friends too!
Bed-Stuy proved to me there is a fighting chance that it can have good pizza. I have eaten at a few pizzerias in this neighborhood and have always come up short or felt disappointed. This is a game changer. This pizzeria offers your breakfast offerings but the pizza is the main draw here. It is done in Neapolitan style, which means that they are setting the bar high. They set the bar even higher with their offerings in toppings, and their specialty pies, which if you know me by now, I got two. Go ahead, make my pies. The Breakfast pie was one I had to go with, along with their Margherita, which is a good baseline for trying any Neapolitan pizza. The first pie is an insane flavor concoction. The egg, the meats, all taste terrific. It is an out of bounds pie; once it cools it only makes everything taste better. The Margherita pie is what it is. Nothing flashy but nothing terrible. It can very easily be polished off by a hungry diner, but you will want to save some slices for later. I did this. The service is very good too. My server, James, was intelligent and provided great service. Most servers simply do the bare minimum and he went above and beyond in his work. Thank you James for a fun experience. Props to the hostess too. She was great as well. Knowledgable and inquisitive with a yearning to do better. I like that in a restaurant employee. Finally Bed-Stuy, things might be looking up for you after all.
If ordering a gluten free pizza, be sure to check your pizza crust when they bring it to your table. I went for brunch and ordered the Spicy Brunch Pizza with a GF crust. The server delivered the regular crust brunch pizza and I didn't really notice until after I ate a slice. I asked my server if he gave me a regular pizza and he said "oops, let me fix that". He came back so fast that I'm pretty sure that my gluten free pizza had been sitting in the window for a bit. Despite the mishap, the Spicy Brunch Pizza was good, I'm sure it would have tasted much better if it was fresh out of the oven. They have a pretty decent brunch menu. A fair amount of great options. The French fries were tasty, perfectly crispy and soft. I tried the Bloody Mary, I wasn't impressed, it was pretty bland. I wouldn't recommend this cocktail for brunch. One thing I liked was if you pick up anything from their bakery next door, they allow you to eat it in the restaurant. My niece is obsessed with their Margherita Focaccia, so she got to enjoy that for brunch. Brunch gets busy, so plan for a little wait. The uncovered tables outside tend to have a bee problem, so be sure to get a table either in the covered outdoor space or inside the restaurant. This has great potential for a good brunch spot, I'll have to come back and try other menu items. Service was pretty mediocre for brunch, Server was not too friendly and didn't really apologize for screwing up my pizza order.
Came for a Saturday brunch. Wanted to try their pasta but during brunch, you cannot order any dinner items and pastas are part of dinner. Pizza was solid and they came out very quick! Breakfast pizza was interesting but the mushroom funghi pizza was amazing. Potatoes were okay, nothing special.

I haven't had a sit down meal this good in a while. Saraghina truly took the cake for favorite restaurant I've dined at in the past few months. Saturday we arrived and had to wait at the bar for a table for 4 for about 15 minutes. The bar area is really cute and intimate. My partner and I had yummy espresso martinis and my friend enjoyed a Negroni while we waited. Once seated, we decided on a carafe of the house red wine. We shared everything we ordered below. Fresh Baked Focaccia & Whipped Ricotta: One of my favorites. The ricotta was super savory and light and this was an easy shareable crowd pleaser. Crispy Brussel Sprouts: Seasoned and cooked well. My partner loved these. Shrimp Paccheri: This was one of the evening specials. We really liked the tender pieces of shrimp and I thought the wide noodles were fun and chewy just how I like them. Cacio e Pepe: We had to order this and weren't disappointed. Delicious and I would recommend! Carbonara Pizza: A bit of a wild card and not my favorite thing we tried but for carbonara lovers I think you'll love. The ingredients were quality and that reflected. I'm so glad we made room for dessert because this was a highlight for me. Tiramisu: Came in a cute cup so you could see the layers within. Not too sweet but just creamy enough. Milk Ricotta Cheesecake: This was an underdog for me. The cheesecake was delicate yet rich but not overly heavy. The cherries and sauce on top were *chefs kiss* Gelato: I don't know how they make this but it tasted how the videos I've been watching about authentic Italian gelato say it should taste. Subtle but not a hint of artificial flavor or sweetness. Nutty and a muted green color. If I had a tub of this in my freezer...I wouldn't for long. The restaurant itself gets busy and lively but retains an intimate, romantic vibe. Our server was fantastic and we are already talking about returning. Phenomenal all around. read more
Came for a late dinner for 2, wait was less than 15 minutes. We had just enough time to grab an amazing espresso martini at the bar which easily transferred to our table. I love that they use real espresso in the drink. The whole place is so cozy, it's really perfect for a winter night. Everything came out quickly. I finally tried the crispy brussels sprouts, which came in a big portion, could def share with like 4 people. Very saucy and vinegary, perfectly crispy. The saffron arancine was a great appetizer, the sauce had a great bright tomato flavor and I loved the peas in the arancini. The cacio e pepe had nice flavor from the cheese but the pasta was a little under done for me. The affagato with their house gelato was incredible, never skip dessert here. While in town, we had a great brunch at Saraghina! The space is warm, inviting, and has a farmhouse kind of feel. Our food was amazing. We had the pancakes and bacon. My brother had the steak and eggs. Service was good; at one point, they became incredibly busy, which impacted attentiveness. Overall, it was a great experience! read more

My friends and I went and really enjoyed our meals and drinks! They have three different Negronis and we tried them all, our favorite was the Negroni blanco. The pizza was amazing! My personal favorite was the Tom Prosciutto Cotto and Funghi Pizza! Many have spoken about the Brussel sprouts so we got them, which was a great decision! The pizza comes out so quick - 4 mins a pie! read more

Returned for brunch on a Sunday at 12 and waited about 15 mins for a table for 2. I started with a drip coffee, then my boyfriend and I shared the seasonal ortolana puzza (awesome), omelette of the day (it had mozzarella, spinach and caramelized onions and was decent), and the ricotta and tart cherry pancakes (these were the highlight). Deducting a star because our server was really bad, which put a damper on the experience, and because the food was solid but not amazing. Overall I'd say this place is no longer worth the trek from where I live in Queens, but the bakery next door is, and you may as well hit up the restaurant while you're in the area. read more

I had another great visit to Saraghina when seeing family in Brooklyn. We decided to eat outside, that's a bright side of pandemic life, the outdoor seating that some places have been allowed to keep. Their outdoor location is nice and warm, clean, and great for people watching. The service is always great! Attentive, but not overbearing. My favorite drink here is the Italian margarita, it's refreshing and tasty. I decided to switch it up and try the skirt steak and eggs, which were cooked just how I asked, and delicious. We also split a whipped feta appetizer that was delightful. Love this place and we always visit when I'm in town. read more
Stopped by here when the weather was beautiful and I sat in their outdoor seating. Very spacious and you don't feel crowded in the garden seating which I appreciated. My friend ordered the Misticanza Insalata which was mixed greens salad with vinaigrette. It was a bit heavy on the vinaigrette so I recommend letting them know how much you want before you get your salad. Ordered the regular Margherita and the Bufala (gluten free). They looked pretty similar. The pizzas are certainly filling and had good flavor. I would recommend visiting especially if you want a lowkey place that's not packed to catch up with a friend and have some pizza! I appreciated that the most. read more
Had high expectations for Saraghina after reading so many good reviews and seeing videos about it online. Unfortunately my experience didn't quite meet those expectations. My friend and I shared the Prosciutto Cotto & Funghi Pizza and Winter Ortolana Pizza. Both of them were decent enough, but definitely nothing special. It almost felt like they could've used a bit more time in the oven? We went home with leftovers and preferred the Winter Ortalana more both in the restaurant and as a leftover. Overall, my commute from downtown Manhattan was a bit of a trek -- it's definitely not a place I'd go out of my way to try again. But that being said, I do think it's worth a try if you're in the area! read more

Food quality was superior. The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive, but a little less so after our food arrived. Prices are on the high end, but I'm not from the New York area so it may not be as high as it seemed to me. Brussel sprouts ended up being the highlight of our meal lol. They were so dang good. We got two gluten free pizzas which didn't disappoint. Actually some of the better gluten free pizza dough I think I've ever had. Less chewy than most. The outdoor seating was cute and quaint, it was easy to get the heater raised near us, and we only wish the table had been bigger as my bro kept bumping his knees on the legs. I'd love to try their pasta offerings and seafood next time. read more

Low key amazingly fresh made pizza. Awesome for a laid back summer vibe in that back yard garden sitting. A great find in my girl's neighborhood (love love BK). Came here on a weekday night for a dinner catch up with a few friends. The ambiance was very rustic on the inside and there was nice outdoor seating with a backyard. The interior was really big! I got the spaghetti, which I thought was delicious. My friends also seemed to enjoy their meals. The server was really nice and informed us about the menu. Can I get a regular cheese pizza?
I don't see why not. I highly recommend not doing that though.

In the outside dining area in the front, yes.
Is any of the pizza gluten free?
I believe you can request to have it Gluten free for an extra $2.
Does it has back garden?
Yes, it does! Very enchanting too. They have a decent number of tables and bench corners for people to sit and eat.
