Kale Apple Salad
Bridgette F.

The kale sale was very tasty, good portion size and fresh. The pizza was amazing and not greasy at all plus the combination of flavors were a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was lovely and wait staff friendly.

s'mores cake -

Incredibly crisp and parm cheesy! And we shared the White Album and whole burrata love.... Scrumptious. The last time we were at Speedy Romeo on the LES, and romantically remembered the delicious pies even now. So happy to have found them again in Brooklyn!. Very busy place so it is a leisurely kinda staff. We ordered the s'mores cake- s'mores cake - all the right ingredients but because one associated s'mores with fire, totally disappointing that it was cold and not at least warm. I mean someone even used a blow torch on it... and it was cold and bottom was colder.

The staff at this restaurant could not give me a refund and I have reached out to the owner and have had no response.

I PAID $95.64 FOR 2 TINY PIZZAS. I placed an order for 2 pizzas through Uber Eats. IMMEDIATELY called the restaurant and told them not to make them and they told me the only way to fix it was by canceling in the app and placing the order again which I did.... 90 minutes and 6 customer reps later, they say I can only get a refund at the restaurant. The staff at the restaurant says I can only get a refund through the app... So here we are... $95.64 for 2 pizzas and the original pizzas were never even made. Normally, one of my favorite pizzas, but I will NEVER GO BACK IF THE RESTAURANT DOESN'T MAKE THIS RIGHT.

I loved this place ! It was super cute and our server was so nice ! We had the truffle pizza and Caesar salad ! They were both delicious

12" White Album Pizza

Got the kale pesto pasta, whole burrata love pizza, and the white album pizza. Both pizzas were delicious with perfectly crispy and fluffy crusts but if I had to pick, I'd say the burrata one was my fave. Just the right balance of cheese and tomato. The kale pesto was surprisingly good also. Tasted fresh and flavorful and not very heavy at all. Vegetarian options are clearly labeled so I appreciate that.

On my pizza tour and Speedy's was first on the list. Upon walking in you get divey pizza parlor vibes. It's dark, wood tables, with woody oven aromas. I want to point out that we didn't get the best service. Steve M. seemed detached and agitated which was read through his missed energy and presence! I know we all have bad days but being present at work with bad energy affects the service. Now to the food... We got the St. Louie and KC Wings. The pizza itself had great flavor. I was impressed with the ingredients and how well it all came together. The dough wasn't holding up, and I wasn't a fan of how the pizza was cut (I know it's the St. Louie way). That pizza cut and dough union mad it very hard to enjoy the pizza. KC wings were sauced perfectly, meaty and I was a big fan of the celery garnish. Honestly don't know if I would go back.

I came here for lunch on Saturday. There were lots of tables open and we were seated right away. Our table was quite wobbly and service was a little bit slow. The restaurant had an industrial warehouse aesthetic, with metal fixtures and exposed brick walls. I had the Kind Brother pizza and really enjoyed it. It had a thin, charred crust and I loved the richness of the egg and bechamel sauce. My partner got the White Album with added pepperoni and found it very filling.

Margarita Pizza was burnt and cold upon delivery.

Margarita Pizza was burnt and cold upon delivery. The delivery person had no insulated box to keep deliveries warm--

Cute spot for a date! The pizza itself was delicious but wish it was hotter (temperature wise). Got seated almost immediately and the food came out within a decent amount of time. Will definitely give it another go! Went on a Sunday and they actually have TVs so was able to watch football while having some 'za

Found this spot on yelp was looking for a sit in pizza restaurant and found speedy, I wanted just a regular slice of classic pizza I wasn't in the mood for any of these crazy speciality pizza so I ordered the truffle shuffle pizza and that pizza was amazing but by far that damn king salami pizza turned me out in one sitting it was amazingly delicious the first was perfect and thin the pizza was so perfect in every way from size of the slice to how full I was but not the full that put you to sleep.i enjoyed my meal with two glasses of rose and just took in the view of the neighborhood your able to eat inside and they have tables out side it's the perfect little pizza restroom the corner. The service was great no complaints I actually went with what my waitress recommended she said it's a rose type of night and there I was sipping on my lil rose Highly recommended this spot if you want some good ole tasting classic pizza

Their gluten free pizza is really good! Great options, good seating, and such a staple in the Clinton hill community.

He was so kind and warm and genuinely treated us like he knew us personally, which added so much to the cozy, homey vibe of the place. The space itself is really cute -- perfect lighting with red tones, exposed brick walls, and such an intimate, inviting atmosphere. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was one of the best I've ever had. It was packed with an incredible variety of meats and cheeses and was more than enough to generously feed our table of four. At a lot of wine bars, I leave still feeling unsatisfied, but this one was filling and so well done. I had the Riesling and it was amazing -- the perfect balance of sweet and dry. And the real star of the show was the grilled cheese with ragù. So delicious. I'm from LA, but we will absolutely be back every time we're in Brooklyn. Highly recommend & cannot say enough about this place! It was one of the highlights of our trip :)

Our server Sam was really knowledgeable and gave us a lot of recommendations. We ended up going with all of his favorites which were the sugar snap peas, the bigeye tuna and gnocco fritto, white asparagus and soked sablefish, the soft-boiled egg and blue crab and finally the steelhead trout. Sam was wonderful to also suggest us really delicious, salty, fresh and wild white wines to pair with our dishes. Everything we had were perfectly cooked with bold flavors. I could definitely taste the care and detail put into every dish. For the smoked sablefish dish, the sauce was so delicious, we asked for some toasted in-house sourdough to soak it up. The pavolva dessert at the end with the surprise paired wine was the perfect ending. I can see why this restaurant is well loved and feel very lucky and grateful that we could have an opportunity to dine here. Thank you so much Sam and team for a wonderful time! On my second visit, the thoughtfully designed space felt just as inviting. We sampled the rest of the menu after loving everything last time. Standouts included: Delicate Long Island fluke, perfectly portioned for sharing Squid ink deviled eggs - so good we ordered them again Deceptively simple lobster rice, bursting with flavor Revelatory yellow fin tuna - I'd return just for this The mackerel's fishiness may polarize, but the skin's easily removed for milder tastes. Desserts shone, from the millefeuille to cherry panna cotta with contrasting jellied top and luscious pudding beneath. Only quibble: a spoon would serve the panna cotta better than a fork for scooping every drop. When we asked, they graciously brought one, even noting they should consider always doing so. Reservations are scarce for good reason - Four Horsemen is a gem. I'll gladly vie for a table again to see what other creative dishes emerge from this kitchen. With just a bit more attention to small details like cutlery pairings, it would earn that final star.

The bar (in the former Spuyten Dyvil space) is almost comically different in look and feel from SD. It is elegant and has an almost suburban feel. I walked in 29 seconds before they opened and they told me so, and I went across the street to walk around bc I was meeting a friend and by the time I went back they were packed (this annoyed me...slightly....). :-/ However, we were given a table, even though there was some confusion at first as to whether we could have one if we weren't eating. But we did have food! And they were friendly, and the service was unexpectedly focused and tight. I'm not a huge wine guy, but I enjoyed the glasses of wine I had here. The menu was lovely. The small plates were very good, but Rude Mouth has taken *more than a small cue* from Bar Jambon, in Gramercy, the wine bar connected to the Michelin-starrred restaurant Casa Mono - in their wines and their small plates (ham, bread, butter, etc.) Who can fault them, really? Are you gonna hate on every rock band that wants to sound a little like My Bloody Valentine? Enjoyable, serious place, good wine, solid food, nice vibe, no real complaints, worth your time.

Right off the bat, the bar area is absolutely gorgeous and meets you with so much warmth, light and joy as soon as you walk in to this establishment. I plopped myself on the bar and had the pleasure of making conversation with Elouise and Alejandra. They put in my standard two dozen oyster order and paired my platter with a glass of the happy hour white wine which happens to be their house chardonnay. The oysters were delicious although I must say there was a lot of shell pieces inside, which was very annoying to eat. I don't think this is necessarily the fault of whoever is shucking them. I noticed the oysters they serve have a lot of thin slivers of shell on the edges which are bound to end up in your mouth. Perhaps they can try serving another variety of oysters? Just a thought. The chardonnay was pretty good and service was amazing. The girls at the bar also let me try the Ten Bells red wine which is produced specially for them in Boudreaux, France. It was a beautiful, light, and smooth red blend. As a wine lover, I will definitely be back to try more of their wines on tap.
