Love the outdoor seating Pizza is more Italian style - smaller personal The toppings are high quality but the pizza fell apart and didn't hold its consistency read more

The pizza here is great, and there are several uncommon combinations of toppings. I had the weekday lunch special - $25 for a salad, pizza, and a drink. The beet salad was tasty and fresh - soft grilled beets with greens and cheese. The Kind Brother pizza was the real star of the show. The crust was similar to Neapolitan style, but baked through so it was crispy and a bit charred instead of doughy. The marinated mushrooms were packed with flavor - savory, salty, and a bit tart to balance out the other elements. The smoked cheese added some toasty flavor, and the egg amped up the savory and creamy notes. read more

Solid 4 stars. We probably order from here more than we should. Always get the St. Louis--really good, and even my little one likes it (after removing the toppings). Would definitely order again. read more

Their gluten free pizza is really good! Great options, good seating, and such a staple in the Clinton hill community.

I live nearby and the pizza is always delicious. But they have taken away three items that would get me here every time: the burger, the roasted potatoes and the beet salad. Bring them back. Please. read more

After spending 10 days deep in the heart of New York City and several of its boroughs, we walked, worked and in particularly participated in eating everything this area can throw at you. There is absolutely nothing this region lacks in gastronomy and haute cuisine! So, on our last night of this world wind tour of New York, we opted to stay home in our friend's beautiful condo in Brooklyn and just order-in dinner. So, Speedy Romeo's pizza's to the rescue; and even something as simple as home delivered pizza was outrageously good. Our two Margarita pizzas were so damn good us all, were ticked we didn't order three! Their delivery was (as the name implies) - speedy. The pizzas came to us piping hot. The price of these beauties was very reasonable. The ravishing handsomeness of these pizzas were amazing. Yeah, I know I'm rambling, but holy cow, was I impressed. And yes, when I'm back in New York again (like in this October to be exact) I'm going to Speedy Romeo's! read more

Incredibly crisp and parm cheesy! And we shared the White Album and whole burrata love.... Scrumptious. The last time we were at Speedy Romeo on the LES, and romantically remembered the delicious pies even now. So happy to have found them again in Brooklyn!. Very busy place so it is a leisurely kinda staff. We ordered the s'mores cake- s'mores cake - all the right ingredients but because one associated s'mores with fire, totally disappointing that it was cold and not at least warm. I mean someone even used a blow torch on it... and it was cold and bottom was colder. read more

I PAID $95.64 FOR 2 TINY PIZZAS. I placed an order for 2 pizzas through Uber Eats. IMMEDIATELY called the restaurant and told them not to make them and they told me the only way to fix it was by canceling in the app and placing the order again which I did.... 90 minutes and 6 customer reps later, they say I can only get a refund at the restaurant. The staff at the restaurant says I can only get a refund through the app... So here we are... $95.64 for 2 pizzas and the original pizzas were never even made. Normally, one of my favorite pizzas, but I will NEVER GO BACK IF THE RESTAURANT DOESN'T MAKE THIS RIGHT. read more

Got the kale pesto pasta, whole burrata love pizza, and the white album pizza. Both pizzas were delicious with perfectly crispy and fluffy crusts but if I had to pick, I'd say the burrata one was my fave. Just the right balance of cheese and tomato. The kale pesto was surprisingly good also. Tasted fresh and flavorful and not very heavy at all. Vegetarian options are clearly labeled so I appreciate that. read more

On my pizza tour and Speedy's was first on the list. Upon walking in you get divey pizza parlor vibes. It's dark, wood tables, with woody oven aromas. I want to point out that we didn't get the best service. Steve M. seemed detached and agitated which was read through his missed energy and presence! I know we all have bad days but being present at work with bad energy affects the service. Now to the food... We got the St. Louie and KC Wings. The pizza itself had great flavor. I was impressed with the ingredients and how well it all came together. The dough wasn't holding up, and I wasn't a fan of how the pizza was cut (I know it's the St. Louie way). That pizza cut and dough union mad it very hard to enjoy the pizza. KC wings were sauced perfectly, meaty and I was a big fan of the celery garnish. Honestly don't know if I would go back. read more

I came here for lunch on Saturday. There were lots of tables open and we were seated right away. Our table was quite wobbly and service was a little bit slow. The restaurant had an industrial warehouse aesthetic, with metal fixtures and exposed brick walls. I had the Kind Brother pizza and really enjoyed it. It had a thin, charred crust and I loved the richness of the egg and bechamel sauce. My partner got the White Album with added pepperoni and found it very filling. read more

I had walked by here on numerous occasions and caught a whiff of the unsurprisingly enticing odors that always emanate from wood-fired carbohydrates. Finally I had the chance to dine here on an unassuming Tuesday night with an old friend. We shared the margherita and kind brother pies, paired for myself with a glass of skin contact wine. Both pies had a lovely charcoally crust. As far as toppings, the kind brother was definitely the winner! The soft egg in the center was perfectly textured - a nod to khachapuri. Even better with some of their pickled peppers requested on the side to add a kick. read more

Honestly, I was not as impressed with this pizza as people make it out to be. The pizza is expensive because they use expensive stuff, but unlike other pizza joints, I feel they do not use them properly, and therefore, the product seems rather glossy and with a fake veneer rather than an authentic tasting product. Like last time, I tried two pies because you are not allowed to go half and half here. I got the Margherita and the King Salami pizza. Unlike last time, I will be combining them together because the difference is not enough to go take their own paragraph. Both pies are 12 inches in circumference, and the slices are small, but the crust does not feel like a Neapolitan pie. It looks like it does, but it does not taste like one. The San Marzano tomatoes are not used properly here, as they appear glossy and taste bland. The fresh mozzarella used on both pies provide nothing to the pie, and it slides right off before taking the first bite. Finally, the salami and meats on the salami pie taste aggressively salty, therefore I was drinking lots of water to keep my mouth from drying out. The customer service is decent. My server, Hernan, seemed like a nice guy and was friendly at first, but as he seemed to notice I was not totally enthralled with the product he eased off the throttle and started to get a bit curt. He told me he was new so maybe he was nervous, but it is no excuse. Meh food does not need to reflect meh attitude. It might be a favorite of some celebrities, but I am not a fan of this pizza. It is a shame because the pieces are in place to make it a good pizza, it just does not end up being one. read more

Their anchovy Ceasar salad is one of the greats. Their stuffed peppers are amazing. Their burrata pizza is fantastic. The Cacio Pepe is perfect. This place is a win win. You'll love it. Friends and I came in on a Friday evening around 9:15pm without a reservation. They were busy but had a few open tables and were able to seat us. We ordered some standard draft beers, the roasted cauliflower (cauliflower, hazelnut romesco, and chili oil), the Dick Dale Pizza (becham, speck, pineapple, provel, and scallion), and the King Salami Pizza (tomato sauce, hot and seeet sopressata, finocchinona, roasted red pepper, and mozzarella). The cauliflower was tasty, but small, I probably wouldn't order it again. The pizza's were both excellent though! The dick dale, despite me picking off the pineapple, was my favorite. The bechamel base was incredibly flavorful. The crusts of both pizzas were nicely done, held their shape with a nice chew. Overall we got a good meal for a reasonable price. Service was also friendly and attentive. Give it a stop for sure! read more

Fantastic pizza, great service, lovely ambiance. Pros: - Love and recommend White Album and Dangerfields Pizza. Thin crispy crust packed with fresh flavorful toppings (ricotta!) and delicious sauce. I also enjoyed the Froze - They built nice wooden outdoor COVID booths which can sit parties of 3 or 6. We sat inside and felt good because we were comfortably distanced from other tables with plenty of space for our stroller. Make sure to make a reservation for an outside booth as this place is really popular during nights and weekends. read more

I've been here twice and hated it both times. Both times I ate outside. The first time we ordered several pizzas and they were all pretentious but the taste didn't match what they were going for. The basic pizza was awful and I've had much better pies at like Neapolitan Express. The worst was both times after we finished our mouths were like cotton mouth from all the salt in the food. We were downing water and chewing gum. It was dreadful. Would never go back. As a native New Yorker this just isn't it. read more

The food was awesome. We got the cacio e pepe, Cesar salad, and st. Louie pizza to share and all the dishes were delicious! They had a good selection of alcohol though we ended up going with their italian sodas. Service was a bit slow in bringing out the pizza, but it was definitely worth the wait. We sat outside since the weather was so nice but the inside looked very cool and will definitely want to sit at the bar next time I come back! read more

A great spot to come with a small group of friends or out of towners. They have fun, interesting pizza and I love that these pies have thinner crust but are not thin crust. These feel a bit Neapolitan style pizzas. I loved the crust and the toppings are a flavor bomb. This time when I came I split a cessation salad, truffle shuffle and roasted potatoes. I have also had the Paul's Boutique before and really loved it. Both are very rich and decadent. Definitely split this with someone or take half home. Service is fast, it's a great place to come in this neighborhood. 4.8/5 read more

Came in for the first time today (lunch on 4/13/24), and the server (dopey-looking blond guy) was so rude. We were a party of four, and he seemed annoyed when we requested a table rather than sit at the bar. Bar seating is really only good for two people, three max. It's impossible to have a proper conversation with four people sitting in a row. They had a table for four available, but I guess dude didn't want to clean it. When we were finally seated, it took him so long to come over that we were ready to order everything. When he asked if we wanted drinks, I told him that we knew what we wanted for food, too. Most servers are happy to get everything at once, but his response was a surly, "Yeah well, I'm not ready to take your food order." Okay... This seems like the wrong line of work for someone with such poor customer service skills. It left such a bad taste in my mouth that I would never come back. As for the food, they have mostly white pies with béchamel sauce. I prefer pizza with tomato sauce, and the one we got (Whole Burrata Love) was decent. The other one with the béchamel (Kind Brother) was bland - lacking salt, seasoning, flavor, and acid. The best thing about it was the crust. We also got the kale apple salad which was overdressed and very tart. Too bad they couldn't put some of that acid on the white pizza. Overall, this place was not worthwhile. Next time I would go to Luigi's on DeKalb where they actually value their customers (and the food is better). Why spend money on a place where the wait staff obviously doesn't give a sh*t. read more

Longstay Gem in the neighborhood for artisanal pizza. I usually go for a bottle of wine and pizza. It's been years since I visited and I believe it's a staple at this point. I came here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the lunch special. Pizza and appetizer for $20. I chose the beet salad and my friend chose the stuffed pepper. I was pleasantly surprised by the stuff pepper which was really good. I wasn't a particular fan of the beet salad due to the fact they used ricotta cheese. I feel like there is a rule that beet salad must have goat cheese but the salad was delicious outside of that. read more

Awesome, awesome pizza spot in Brooklyn! We had reservations for a Saturday night, and although they weren't needed it was nice to have piece of mind. The indoor space is very cozy, with lots of cool decorations. I highly recommend eating inside if you can. The three of us shared 2 pizzas, the "white album" and the "truffle shuffle". Both were excellent, though I had a slight preference for the truffle shuffle. The white album was a masterclass of cheese - I loved the grated parmesan crust (a nice touch!). The beers were delicious, too. They had a really large and interesting selection. If you're a fan of IPAs, you should try the Lifted IPA! Service was great, too. Our waitress was very attentive and our items came out promptly. The bathroom was very clean, and I loved the decor inside! Got to check this place out after my friend's cousin suggested to have dinner here when we officially arrived to New York for our mini vacation. We almost missed the restaurant since there was no visible sign outside, so we had to double check the GPS we were following to get there to make sure we were at the right location. When we got inside, it was low lighting inside as we were seated at our table near the door. Deifnitely, had a hard time picking which pizza to get and ended up getting the White Album one. When our pizza came out, the server also presented us a pepper topping mixture that would go great with their pizzas. And boy was he right! We nearly finished the little mason jar he gave us after adding it to our pizza slices. The pizza tasted great on its own and better with the peppers. There was definitely a lot of cheese on the pizza I got, which I ended up not finishing all of it, but apparently made great leftover cold pizza for my friend latter on for our trip lolz I would deifnitely come back again to try their other pizzas, though I did get a bite of the anchovy pizza as well as the other pizza with two kinds of cheeses and mushrooms on top, which equally tasted great too. Wished they had sold those peppers though because those were amazing! read more

Speedy Romeo - White Album :) Super good, especially with the peppers they gave on the side!!! - Pizza Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I order from Speedy Romeo somewhat regularly. For pizza, my favorite is the 12" White Album Pizza (when it isn't cold). The wings are phenomenal (when they aren't burnt) and the Caesar Salad is top notch (although I'm not a fan of the fresh anchovy and usually go without that). The House Pickled Chili peppers are awesome and I recommend you try putting those in your pizza if you're looking for an extra kick. They also sell pizza dough at a super affordable price, i case you want to try and make your own. Food is a little pricey, so I wouldn't recommend making it a habit! read more
