A cozy wine bar hidden in Brooklyn! The intimate space has a bar and some tables, as well as a back section/more hidden and private room. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable about the extensive wine list that they carry. I tried a number of different wines here and they have wines from all over the world, including some countries where I've never had wine from before! Everything was amazing and I had such a good time trying different wines. Would definitely recommend for any wine lover!

Probably one of my favorite spots in all of Brooklyn. I originally came here back in October but could only stay for one drink since I had a train to catch. On my last visit to NYC in May, we made a point to spend a little more time here. We came in for a glass of wine and a small bite to eat in the early evening. They had a pop up happening that day in the back with smash burgers, hot dogs, and salads. The pop up had vegan options too including a vegan caesar salad and a vegan hot dog. I got the caesar salad and was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful it was for being vegan. It was sooo good! I'm not sure what the regular food situation is here (I think it's mainly light bites) but you may want to check their socials beforehand to see about any other pop ups happening. The wine here is natural and I usually leave the ordering to my natural wine freak of a boyfriend. I can't say I've ever had anything here to drink that I didn't like and they're nice enough to give you a taste before you commit to a glass. Every interaction I've had with the people who work here has been great. Ordering is done at the main counter and you grab your glass or bottle and find a seat. There's outdoor seating in the front as well as a garden patio area in the back. There's also plenty of small tables and bar stools inside. It's a basement venue so it's dark and moody. Perfect for a date night.

Sauced is a cutie sexy wine bar in Brooklyn that's underground and a vibe. You walk in and describe what kind of wine you're into or what you are feeling and they offer options. This is a natural wine bar as well. I believe they rotate bottles as well. It was super busy, energetic, a vibe for sure. I got a "juicy" red which was great to sip on and yap. This is a yap friendly zone y'all. Seems like a popular first date spot too. I really like le the selection and the wine bottles are marked with price in sharpie! I enjoyed the service, the wine is a little pricey but overall had a good time! It's a little dim light moment in there.

I had an amazing time at Sauced. My friends and I were looking for a last minute spot to get a drink before going home and found this amazing wine bar. We got the delicious burrata and got amazing recommendations for wine. I'd definitely come back.

The cutest wine bar tucked into the heart of Williamsburg -- it's a short walk from the Bedford Ave stop and I am SO. OBSESSED. They have plenty of seating inside and a lovely outdoor patio, which I've been loving during the springtime. The bartenders here are really knowledgeable and nice -- if you describe a wine, they're good at making recommendations and let you sample until you're happy with a pick. The Onion Dip here is also DELISH, so highly recommend grabbing to share. I'll probably be back here this weekend.

I've enjoyed a number of different wine bars over the years and Sauced is unique. There's no wine list to choose from. Staff talks to you about what you are looking for and then brings out a few choices for you to taste. The wines are unique, natural and mostly from different countries. Once we selected, we enjoyed a couple of glasses of different wines. We also ordered a charcuterie board that was filling and tasteful. The wait staff is informative, helpful and responsive. The environment is very relaxed and ... well... "cool." Overall, prices are about par for a wine bar in an urban setting.

The cutest wine bar in Williamsburg with such a great variety of wines and a cute outdoor area in the back! Loved the sparkling red in particular. They don't have a menu so you just tell the bartender what you like and she'll suggest wines you can try until you like one. Such a cute space too. I how to be back soon!

Such a cute little wine bar. Casual, approachable, but still very cool and very... Williamsburg... in the best way possible. Wine was yummy, the actual bar is so cute. So many nooks and table areas to find a little spot and chill. I know there's a back/outdoor area but didn't see it when we were there. Playlist is so on point. Happy we stopped in and look forward to dropping by again.

. The focaccia was good, but not sure we'd get again (this was when we had to get food with drinks at bars, per NYC mandate)

I am SO glad we did. The vibe drew us in, they had great music bumpin from the outside, it looked lively and welcoming. Let me tell you- I would have skipped dinner and just stayed here all evening if it was my choice! But alas, my husband wanted a bit more to eat. But let me tell you- their knowledge of wine is PRISTINE! I can't tell you what white wine we had but they captured our tastes perfectly. We also shared a bruschetta and it was deliciouso! I love how friendly the staff was here and how unpretentious it all was. Next time we are in NYC- we will definitely make a point to come visit Rake!

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

Sunn’s - Banchan. Potato salad with pear and the roasted eggplant were favorites.

Starting with the positives -the banchan was solid across the board and really flavorful. That said, charging for banchan feels strange to me. Traditionally, it's complimentary, like bread at an Italian restaurant so that part didn't sit right but it was flavorful. The chigae was interesting and probably the standout dish. It had a unique flavor that reminded me of a mix between soondubu and dwenjang chigae which worked well. Unfortunately, the rest was a miss. The bossam was overly salty and didn't feel true to the dish. The tteokbokki was another disappointment -it came with cheese (which wasn't expected) and just fell flat overall. For the hype, I expected much more especially because I've eaten Korean food my whole life. The venue is small and the seats in the back are uncomfortable.
