Sauced is such a gem. The food, wine, and ambiance were all amazing, but what truly stood out to me was the service. We were served by Mehdi, and he went absolutely above and beyond. He was so kind and warm and genuinely treated us like he knew us personally, which added so much to the cozy, homey vibe of the place. The space itself is really cute -- perfect lighting with red tones, exposed brick walls, and such an intimate, inviting atmosphere. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was one of the best I've ever had. It was packed with an incredible variety of meats and cheeses and was more than enough to generously feed our table of four. At a lot of wine bars, I leave still feeling unsatisfied, but this one was filling and so well done. I had the Riesling and it was amazing -- the perfect balance of sweet and dry. And the real star of the show was the grilled cheese with ragù. So delicious. I'm from LA, but we will absolutely be back every time we're in Brooklyn. Highly recommend & cannot say enough about this place! It was one of the highlights of our trip :)

A cozy wine bar hidden in Brooklyn! The intimate space has a bar and some tables, as well as a back section/more hidden and private room. The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable about the extensive wine list that they carry. I tried a number of different wines here and they have wines from all over the world, including some countries where I've never had wine from before! Everything was amazing and I had such a good time trying different wines. Would definitely recommend for any wine lover!

Probably one of my favorite spots in all of Brooklyn. I originally came here back in October but could only stay for one drink since I had a train to catch. On my last visit to NYC in May, we made a point to spend a little more time here. We came in for a glass of wine and a small bite to eat in the early evening. They had a pop up happening that day in the back with smash burgers, hot dogs, and salads. The pop up had vegan options too including a vegan caesar salad and a vegan hot dog. I got the caesar salad and was pleasantly surprised with how flavorful it was for being vegan. It was sooo good! I'm not sure what the regular food situation is here (I think it's mainly light bites) but you may want to check their socials beforehand to see about any other pop ups happening. The wine here is natural and I usually leave the ordering to my natural wine freak of a boyfriend. I can't say I've ever had anything here to drink that I didn't like and they're nice enough to give you a taste before you commit to a glass. Every interaction I've had with the people who work here has been great. Ordering is done at the main counter and you grab your glass or bottle and find a seat. There's outdoor seating in the front as well as a garden patio area in the back. There's also plenty of small tables and bar stools inside. It's a basement venue so it's dark and moody. Perfect for a date night.

Sauced is a cutie sexy wine bar in Brooklyn that's underground and a vibe. You walk in and describe what kind of wine you're into or what you are feeling and they offer options. This is a natural wine bar as well. I believe they rotate bottles as well. It was super busy, energetic, a vibe for sure. I got a "juicy" red which was great to sip on and yap. This is a yap friendly zone y'all. Seems like a popular first date spot too. I really like le the selection and the wine bottles are marked with price in sharpie! I enjoyed the service, the wine is a little pricey but overall had a good time! It's a little dim light moment in there.

I had an amazing time at Sauced. My friends and I were looking for a last minute spot to get a drink before going home and found this amazing wine bar. We got the delicious burrata and got amazing recommendations for wine. I'd definitely come back.

The cutest wine bar tucked into the heart of Williamsburg -- it's a short walk from the Bedford Ave stop and I am SO. OBSESSED. They have plenty of seating inside and a lovely outdoor patio, which I've been loving during the springtime. The bartenders here are really knowledgeable and nice -- if you describe a wine, they're good at making recommendations and let you sample until you're happy with a pick. The Onion Dip here is also DELISH, so highly recommend grabbing to share. I'll probably be back here this weekend.

Such a cute little wine bar. Casual, approachable, but still very cool and very... Williamsburg... in the best way possible. Wine was yummy, the actual bar is so cute. So many nooks and table areas to find a little spot and chill. I know there's a back/outdoor area but didn't see it when we were there. Playlist is so on point. Happy we stopped in and look forward to dropping by again.

First I'll start with the wine - we ended up trying all three happy hour wines (HH until 7), which the tables favorites were the white and we ended up getting a bottle to split once HH ended (but I really enjoyed the other vino verde option). It was incredibly refreshing and paired well with the many tinned fish options. As you'd expect - it's a pretty massive selection and there is bound to be a varietal and glass for any palate. It's also attached to a wine store - so it's fine to see all the bottles when peaking over. Food-wise - this is where it was hit or miss, they have a pretty extensive menu (with a whole tinned fish section!) and we ended up ordering the buratta on focaccia (buratta was excellent, focaccia was too dense for my tastes), mushroom truffle crostini (way too salty), the flatbread with sliced kielbasa (was fine), halloume (table favorite ), tinned sardines in lemon oil (delicious), tinned smoked trout (my favorite). Overall the four of us were very full at the end of the meal! The space itself felt very relaxing and rustic, and definitely got busier as the night went on (we got there at 6:50 and left around 9). The service was also fast and attentive - even for the amount of tables they were serving. Overall - I'd definitely go back again, and maybe just focus on the wine and another tinned fish selection!

We stopped by last Saturday night after grabbing some dinner just down the street and were grateful to be seated immediately in the back area. The vibes here are very chill and the excellent, exuberant staff really know their stuff and get excited to chat with you about wine. We went with wines by the glass and I appreciated the confidence of the menu: it was small enough to not feel overwhelming, yet curated to have something for every palate and preference. My first glass was an unfiltered orange wine from the Alsace region of France (Tout Terriblement Maceration). It was funky and almost pithy in texture, with notes of apple and apricot. Definitely great if you're looking for something a little intense and off the beaten path. For my second glass, I felt like a lighter red, so I went with the Puszta Libre, a chilled Zweigelt from Austria. While it was slightly more standard than my first glass, I loved its funky nose and red and tropical fruits. I can't remember exactly what my husband had, but he loved his drinks, too. I remember one of his glasses smelled intensely of salty buttered popcorn. We weren't going to order any food, but the couple next to us had the chocolate lava cake and it smelled SO good, so we decided to go for it. It was served simply and deliciously, with vanilla ice cream and cherry sauce.

Highly recommend trying their original cocktails ($18). We tried the flower child and the harvest moon. Both were tasty. I would get harvest moon again and again. Perfect balance of Tart, sweet refreshing and strong. Menu items change seasonally so it's delightful to try something new every time you visit. $21 potato croquettes were highly disappointing. Everyone recommended them highly, but I could not understand why. For such price, three tiny balls of fried potato should've been mind blowing, but they were underwhelming and forgettable at best. Balanced flavor profile. Could suit anyone who is picky about their food. $30 lamb neck was a solid dish. Perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicate and flavorful on the inside. Wish the portion was a bit bigger, especially the sides. $38 duck confit was highly advertised, however, it was underwhelming and the least stand out dish. It was solid, but nothing that I would order again or recommend. The duck was on the dry side. Definitely not enough sauce. The cabbage and the cabbage salad were good. Crispy and refreshing. The duck was not the star of this dish. $13 chocolate mousse with strawberry coulis was surprisingly delightful. So light and balanced. Not sweet, but just right to finish a meal.
