Was in Williamsburg and stopped in here bc it looked cute from the outside. Stepped it and loved the vibe. It was dark with candles on all the tables. The seating was cute so we stayed for a drink. I ordered the La Limona and was not crazy about it. Friend ordered the Covergirl and hers was delish. Overall, a cute place to have a drink or go on an intimate date.

I came here a few weeks ago on a date on a random Monday evening, and it was pretty quiet which was nice. It's a dimly lit bar with comfortable plush seating, and a nicely appointed bar. Apparently, the downstairs area has a DJ on the weekends, and is known for being fun, so perhaps I'll check it out sometime. The cocktail menu was good and had variety to it and our drinks came out pretty quickly. The bartender was friendly and took our drink orders quickly, which was nice. I would definitely come back here again!

The image shows a dimly lit indoor space illuminated by pink and purple lighting. A mural on the wall depicts a landscape with bushes and a large rock formation. An air conditioning unit is mounted near the ceiling, and a wall-mounted light fixture is visible. In the foreground, a black jacket is draped over a chair, and a white bag is partially visible. The ceiling has a patterned design, and a wooden slatted panel runs along the lower part of the wall.

I want to give this place 5 stars but the DJ last night claimed she didn't know "Follow Me," a house song and "Loyal" by Chris Brown. Now girl... But the basement dance floor, overall vibes and solid music upstairs make this an automatic place to return for me.

If you're in NYC and NOT hitting up Midnights in Williamsburg, you're seriously missing out. Came here to party for the 4th of July from the Bay Area and stumbled into this spot--and WOW. Instantly became a fan. The vibe is electric without trying too hard, and the energy feels like the best kind of NYC night. Audra our bartender is beautiful and great at her craft - respectfully. Straight-up LEGEND. Charismatic, welcoming, and mixing up some of the best drinks I've had in the city. Ask for her--trust me, you'll be in good hands. I got whiskey sours, paper planes and gimlets... all Huge shoutout to Matthew, the GM. The music, the lighting, the crowd--this guy knows how to curate an experience. You can tell there's care and intention behind everything. It's not just a bar--it's a whole vibe. If you're in Brooklyn--or anywhere in NYC--Midnights is the move. Ps. Baddies be in this bih

While barhopping in Williamsburg, we made our final stop here. The vibes are good with seating indoors and outdoors. The cocktails are very affordable here being under $15. I ordered the Drunk Love ($14) and a friend ordered the Lime All The Time ($14). I enjoyed her drink more, especially the chili salt. Good spot for some late night drinks. They also have happy hour from 4-6:30pm on weekdays with $2 off everything.

The image displays a cocktail menu with a dark background, listing various drinks such as 'Shy Crab,' 'The Hoot,' and 'Drunk Love,' along with their prices. The menu includes ingredients and descriptions for each cocktail. At the top, there is a graphic of two people sitting on a crescent moon with stars, adding a celestial theme to the design.

"After midnight, we're gonna let it all hang out After midnight, we're gonna chug-a-lug and shout" (J. J. Cale) Here's what you need to know if you're ever invited to a private party at Midnights: 1) Wend your way through the densely populated bar and head to the back left corner of the bar. 2) Look for the sign for the restroom and follow it to an impossibly steep staircase to the basement. 3) Here you'll see a private room that accommodated our party of 50 or so family and friends. 4) Look for the jolly bearded bartender named Alfredo who was fantastic. 5) Enjoy Midnight's drinks, music, and atmosphere as much as we did!

Great outdoor patio, small but nice ambiance. Gets pretty crowded on the weekends! Drinks are good but can take a while to order at peak times, it seems they are pretty short staffed. Went for their twist of the espresso martini, had absolutely no regrets! It's not cheap by any means but not terrible by Williamsburg standards.

Christmas Decor - A mirror with snowflake ornaments and a silver ribbon decoration reflects a bar interior, showing patrons seated at the bar and a staff member preparing drinks. The scene includes Christmas decorations, framed pictures on the wall, and a cozy atmosphere with warm lighting.

Thanks to the NYC Tippler, I've been able to discover new places and create a list of "Go-To's". Midnights has made that list. The first cocktail I tried was the Lime All The Time and it's definitely a fav. Made with Hornitos Tequila, Mezcal, Lime, Pomegranate flavor, and a new fav (Chili Salt); this drink is delicious. The Chili Salt really adds a bold flavor to the drink and I couldn't imagine having this cocktail without it. The other cocktail I tried was the Drunk Love (crafted with Myers Jamaican Rum, Denizen 5 Year Rum, Overproof Rum, Grenadine, Lime, OJ Pineapple, and Angostura Bitters); not a bad drink. Out of the two, the drink that won me over was the Lime All The Time. As for food, I've only tried the Truffle Steak Fries. They were pretty good. I ordered them to go along with the Happy Hour glass of Pinot Grigio. They were good (not the best, but good). The ambiance is a bit intimate and chill. In the evening, you can expect dim lights and candles. They have plenty of seats by the bar and also booths available that are perfect for groups or a little privacy for date night. In terms of service, nothing really stood out for me. It was a typical experience. If you're in the area I would suggest stopping by. Happy Hour is Monday through Friday starting at 2 PM until 6:30 PM.

ENERGIZER JENNIE vodka, coffee liquor, eleva espresso - A cocktail in a martini glass with a layered appearance, consisting of a dark red or brown liquid at the bottom and a creamy, frothy top sprinkled with chocolate shavings. Intimate and cute spot that also has a rear garden patio. We were just in time for the $2 off all cocktails, happy hour special, which is M-F 4p-6:30p. There were only a couple of snack items and one was a pretzel which they didn't have. Overall service was good. I only found out after my visit that the Pasadena Room is their downstairs dance space. My/our delicious tongue clicking sips for the evening: DRUNK LOVE myers jamaican rum, denizen 5-year rum, overproof rum, oj pineapple, grenadine, lime, angostura bitters EL TOPO cathedral mezcal, caribbean pineapple, alma tepec, agave, lime ENERGIZER JENNIE vodka, coffee liquor, eleva espresso OLD FASHIONED Mmmm... I was not disappointed AT ALL!! First impressions: it's a bit of a compact space, but there's also plenty of tables/seating to choose from....although it does fill in fast!! We came relatively early around 4pm, so we were able to take advantage of some of their Happy Hour prices, including: $14 Fried Chicken Sandwich $10 Cocktails, including the Frozen Espresso Martini I also got the Smash Burger and the Yuzu Sake, which weren't included in the Happy Hour. You order your food & drinks at the bar, but they bring the food out to wherever you're sitting once it's ready. As for the cocktails, they were both great!! The Frozen Espresso Martini was very creatively presented and I enjoyed the look and taste of it. The Yuzu Sake was strong and great quality! For the food, both the Fried Chicken Sandwich and Smash Burger were delicious!! The Fried Chicken Sandwich especially tasted so unique and creative with the sauce on it, but I also just really loved the solid burger and could tell it had excellent quality. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Torst, and I highly recommend stopping by to grab some of their food and drinks!

However, my friends and I were here for the food, so that's what this review is based on. She-wolf Sourdough (7/10) - It was good bread, but nothing really special. Hot Crab Dip (7/10) - Very veggie forward flavors, but you do taste crab. Not bad. Btw, this dish comes with a few pieces of the She-Wolf Sourdough. Danish Dog (7.5/10) - Great snap to the bite of the dog itself. Bread was great. Pickles are interesting, but the curry mayo should be stronger and more bold. Simple mustard would have been better. Old Bay Chicken Wings (8/10) - Nice plump and juicy wings with that dusting of Old Bay seasoning. Yum! Fried Chicken Sandwich (5/10) - Chicken was fried well and bread was fine. However, the chili miso honey was way too much for me. Too sweet, not spicy at all, and just didn't work well. Dry Aged Burger (7/10) - Beef patty needs more seasoning and a better crust. No real char at all, though a decent beef flavor was present. Not into the sprouts, but the tomato jam was good. From what I heard, I had high hopes for the food here. In the end, it was a satisfying meal, but nothing special something I travel so far for again.

He started out as a salesman for Brooklyn Brewery during the 1980s. Eventually he founded his own beer imports company called Raven Importing Company. Raven ultimately wanted to open his own craft beer bar and bottle shop where he could offer consumers microbrews and high quality European brews. The new business, dubbed Brouwerij Lane, was the first of its kind in Brooklyn's Greenpoint neighborhood. Brouwerij Lane has 19 rotating draught lines as well as 150+ cans and bottles of local, imported, rare and unique craft brews. Raven also teamed up with brewmaster Chris Prout to open the Dirck the Norseman restaurant and brewpub in 2014. It later evolved into Greenpoint Beer & Ale Company, but it sadly closed its doors in 2024. I recently visited Brouwerij Lane while I was in Brooklyn to see a concert. I arrived early in the day so I could explore some beer bars and shops throughout Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Both neighborhoods have bustling craft beer scenes. Brouwerij Lane has been on my list of places to explore for a while. The interior is small but cozy. There were maybe six other customers enjoying beers when I arrived. I grabbed a table and then looked over the impressive draught menu. I decided to start off with a pour of Mighty Squirrel Brewing's "Volare" (Italian Pilsner). Italian Pilsners are my favorite variety of pilsners, and this one was excellent. Dry-hopped with noble hops, "Volare" (Italian for 'to fly') was crisp and delicious with a nice blend of citrusy notes and hints of freshly baked bread. I also had a look at the shop's impressive can/bottle selection and purchased a can of Brown Girl's Brew's "Lemon Pound Cake" (Lager) to take home. Before leaving, I enjoyed a pour of Brouwerij Van Steenberge's "Tripel De Garre" (Belgian Tripel). This was an AMAZING Belgian beer that had some excellent spice notes. I had an excellent experience at Brouwerij Lane and I highly recommend them to craft beer aficionados or those who want to learn about craft beer!

After spending six years at JP Morgan, Lamonca decided to leave the finance world. Although he was interested in finance, it was never his passion. At Beer Karma, Lamonaca has curated a fine selection of beer from local NYC breweries as well as other breweries around the world.
