Just moved right by Blinkys so it's become my favorite spot to take friends. Good prices, solid drinks, and just a nice vibe to the place. Also the added bonus is that the owner is there a lot of the times. He's really nice, friendly, and down to earth. I've also taken my dogs here and appreciate that they're welcome!

Blinky's is a fun, new bar in Williamsburg, offering tasty cocktails, specialty beers and good vibes! They have a lovely, massive backyard that's perfect for grabbing a drink with some friends in the summer. It's also a good spot if you want to grab a nice cocktail on a date. I tried one of their specialty drinks, the Blinky Blue Cosmo: citrus vodka, blue curaçao, lime and cranberry. Delicious! I appreciate that they rehired all the staff from the previous establishment it used to be. Unfortunately that establishment had to close during COVID. The owner is so kind and friendly, too. He makes you feel right at home! They have happy hour Mon-Fri, usually until 7pm. You'd have to double check what time it starts though as I don't recall it. Check them out and grab yourself a tasty drink!

My friend took me here because it's her favorite local bar. On a Thursday at 5pm on a rainy holiday weeknight, the bar was pretty empty. Happy hour cocktails were good. Had the first one on the menu, which I think was the Rose Gold and it was unexpectedly spicy. Also had a cheap beer. Music was kind of terrible Goo Goo Dolls and Foo Fighters. Backyard was big but soaking wet since it was raining and there's no coverage. Ambiance was cute. Lighting was good.

Blinky's is 100% the best neighborhood bar in Williamsburg Incredible vibes, unique drinks, and such kind and friendly owners!! I hosted a work event here and Rhoades and Jose (the owners) along with all the bartenders were incredibly helpful the entire night!! The venue itself takes you back to the 80's with retro neon lights and vintage posters. There's also an adorable outdoor backyard for when the weather is nice out + they're dog friendly! Highly recommend checking this spot out. You'll never want to leave!!

Came here on a whim after a night in the area and let me tell you, this place is lit. I recall it being a weekday and this place was packed. Apparently, someone was also celebrating a birthday or two? I love the vibes here. The light is either neon glow or dim lit both works well with me. Though if it is the neon glow and you are trying to take photos of the drinks and food. It may not be as helpful. The drinks were very much on point. Brooklyn Buck - there is nothing buck about it. Yes, it will sort of kick you but in the most delightful way. But Naked - the name says it all but it shouldn't cause you to go streaking like Will Ferrell. Unless you decided to do so before even having alcohol in you. Wake and Bake - for all your 420 enthusiasts, this isn't a weed drink. I'd say it is more along the lines of a hot toddy that makes you feel warm and fuzzy. Maybe this is the prelude to actually waking and baking? I had a great time at this place. This is a place to keep on the bookmarks for many occasions. FAN.

if you're looking to impress a date with drinks, this may not be the place ... blinkys is definitely a cute vibe. it has little booths in the front and a nice backyard, colored lights and all, but the drinks definitely killed it for me. stopped in on a sunday night to get a drink and we got the rose gold and their paloma. both drinks were very strong (nothing wrong with that) but for $15 i would expect there to be some type of balance in the flavor? the rose gold was kinda passable, but the paloma actually just tasted like watered down tequila. could not taste the grapefruit at all. the ice in the paloma was also mostly melted within a few minutes, which could partially be from sitting outside but it definitely didn't help things. i've been to blinkys one other time and i think my drink then was better, but last night was just so unimpressive we pretty much chugged our drinks and left. pictures show the paloma and rose gold, the rose gold is partially gone (midway through chugging). tldr: maybe don't get cocktails at blinkys, get a beer.

The music is at a low enough volume that you can hear your conversations, it doesn't get too crowded so you can spread out, even if you're in a large group. Downstairs, it's a lot tighter, with a DJ, dance floor, lounge seating area, and a much more packed and busy atmosphere on the weekends. I like ping ponging between both vibes when I'm with friends. Admittedly I've found the music both times to be too experimental for me. Confessing that makes me feel like an old person shaking my fist or at least shaking my head, misunderstanding what makes the youth tick. But I had no trouble twirling around the dance floor to this weird experimental music after throwing back a few tequila sodas upstairs. A few times while here my friends have split up into the group that wants to go downstairs to dance and the group that wants to stay upstairs and chill. It's relatively easy to navigate between both vibes, which I enjoy about this spot very much.

When we saw "Water Tower" on the elevator we decided to press it. SO GLAD WE DID. We landed at the Water Tower and walked into a fairly empty space decorated with art all the way to the ceiling, filled with natural light coming in and the views of the skyline were out of this world. We had to try their drinks of course to enjoy with the incredible view. Though the drinks are $21 and served in a plastic cup that evening, I was NOT expecting my drink to be this insanely delicious. I ordered the inferno Paloma which they infuse themselves with- and it was true perfection. By the way, each bar has their own menu which is pretty awesome and makes it even more fun. Also, Axel is the most incredible bartender and we absolutely loved his creations. Later that night we ordered a custom mandarin margarita, with a spicy twist, and WOW. He's truly talented and absolutely made us some awesome drinks that we can't stop talking about. Sunset with a view and a spicy mezcal drink? Yes and YES. We had this place all to ourselves and can't wait to be back. Friday nights they have DJ nights and you can also book the Water Tower for your own private events which is pretty cool!

Biang biang Rasta noodles is served with oyster mushrooms (so good) and peppers. I added shrimp to mine. Very tasty and filling. We were in a sunlit room and it really set the mood. Our server was great, and we ordered family-style. Just a heads up, they have a separate "Sunday drunch" menu so options are a bit limited. For apps, we got the curry crab gyoza which was a very small portion (6/10) and the roasted mushroom truffle flatbread which was the highlight of the meal (8.5/10). For mains, we tried the biang biang Rasta noodles with salmon (6/10) and the sofrino roasted chicken (5/10). Both were a bit underwhelming. I've heard their drinks are great but we didn't try any. Food-wise, I was a little disappointed, but still had a great time catching up with friends.

The Sweet Potato Beignets with hot honey & parmesan were definitely interesting--sweet, savory, and a bit unexpected. Not my favorite item of the night, but still worth trying if you like unique flavor combos. The BK Sliders (3 pc) were solid: thick applewood smoked bacon, American cheese, Russian dressing, and pickle on mini brioche buns. Simple, satisfying, and nicely done. The real standout though was the Calamari with shichimi pepper, jalapeño, lime zest, and herbal dipping sauce--absolutely amazing. Crispy, flavorful, and the seasoning had just the right kick. Easily the best dish we ordered. Service was friendly and the atmosphere made it easy to linger. Overall a great experience, and I'd definitely come back--especially for that calamari and another hot toddy.

I've never ate here, but I recommend grabbing drinks during the summer months when they open the canopy. It's a nice rooftop feel. However, I went on a fall Saturday night and the place was completely empty. I walked upstairs and even wondered if the bar was open due to a chair blocking the entrance. If I didn't ask the waiter if they were open, I would assume they were closed and would've left. If it was near closing hours, I would understand, but it was 2 hours prior to it. It is too bad Yelp doesn't allow half stars as I would honestly put this one at a 3.5 and am rounding up. While the quality of the elevated seafood bites is immaculate, they are just that: a bite or two of food, for an elevated price considering the amount of food you get. After spending $76 a person, we were still hungry, whereas that amount would have been enough to feed two average women at another good restaurant. But if you go with an expense account or trust fund baby, definitely get the scallops and the yellowtail pastrami because those two items will blow your mind. Our waitress pointed these two out to us and we're grateful for her guidance because it was spot on. Paying for bread at a Solomonov joint is odd. No dessert menu is odder. Wheelchair access details: The bar is on a terrace. The accessible entrance is through the Hoxton hotel. A staff member will take you through the k'far kitchen and up via a service elevator. No barriers once you are upstairs and plenty of accessible outdoor and indoor/outdoor options, including a small length of wheelchair height bar. A perfectly functional though unexciting wheelchair accessible restroom is available.
