I came here for dinner recently and had a pleasant time! This cozy Italian spot in Brooklyn is the perfect spot for a date night with it's intimate and warm setting. Service here was pretty quick and very nice. We ordered their olives, brocollini, and chicken liver to start and their seafood pasta, oxtail ragu, and wild boar ragu for mains. Everything was delicious. I loved their chicken liver and thought that it was a great pair with their olives, bread, and brocollini. I was pleasantly surprised by their wild boar ragu as it was so flavorful and didn't taste gamey at all (sometimes wild boar does). Overall, great spot for some pasta and I would love to come back!

Perfect date night spot!! My girlfriend and I were able to get a table around 7:30 on a weeknight, the restaurant was so cute and cozy, and there was even live music! We shared the burrata and broccoli and I got the mushroom pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious and came out quickly! And was so fresh! Great service too :)

Small menu but absolutely delicious. The back patio was heated and a great casually elevated ambiance. The buratta didn't do the spilling thing so that was meh. The seafood souo was full of flavor. The pasta was good too. Great spot for the area

We only stopped in for drinks but I would have happily stayed for dinner. We ordered wine, rhubarb soda and an appetizer with mixed olives and bread. The bread. Was. So. Good. It was toasted and served with olive oil which was delicious. When the bread and olive oil are good at an Italian spot, you know the food is good too. I highly recommend the rhubarb soda (it's not on the handwritten paper menu) -- it's hard to find and a delicious treat!

We were invited for a birthday gathering and enjoyed the intimacy of the snug backyard bohemian style patio space. Started with various appetizers: Artichoke, Buratta w grilled bread, Olives, ... Then for entrees: Oxtail Ragu Pappardelle , Wild Boar Rigatoni, Baccala with creamy Polenta, Gnocchi with brown butter and sage Each pasta dish was delicious and filling. Desserts were good too. The Tiramisu was divine!! Buon appétito! Grazie mille! Thank you for reading

I love this restaurant. The pasta is made fresh, and you can really tell. It is so good, and the quality is so high of both the texture and the flavor. The menu has the perfect variety of options too. The service is great as well, and the ambiance is calm and gently refined with exposed brick. The perfect vibe. 10/10 & I will definitely be back and will bring friends and family. So grateful to have this spot in my neighborhood!

Just so delicious. What was stand out to me was the pasta amatriciana and the meatball special. The tomato sauce tastes so simple yet so flavorful. Everything tastes very fresh. The server was a sweetheart too.

We were excited to try this restaurant because it's highly rated and were sadly underwhelmed. It might've been an off night...so much potential! We snagged reservations for 630pm on a Saturday night and were seated promptly. We started off with burrata and sourdough, which was the absolute highlight. The burrata was CREAAAAMYYY and the bread was buttery and grilled, I literally could not get enough of the bread and was delighted when they gave us a refill. We ordered 3 pasta dishes: Bucatini - undercooked pasta and we could not flag down our server because they were so busy. 30 mins later we finally caught someone's attention and they were able to remove it from our bill. Sad because the sauce was really good. Gnocchi - not fluffy or pillowy. Tasted like frozen gnocchi from the grocery store. Pappardelle oxtail - this was a decent dish and all 3 of us shared it since it was the best pasta dish. Overall, a mediocre experience. There were only one or two servers working the ENTIRE restaurant, so it was understandable why service wasn't on point.

Cute little Italian spot! It got pretty busy while we were there but it was really easy to get a reservation for a weeknight. Service was quick and our pastas came out really fast! Got the oxtail pappardelle, gnocchi, and olive oil cake. Would recommend them all but portions are on the smaller side.

Delicious pasta either great ambience in the backyard. We visited last year in the fall and I got demolished by mosquitoes. We got 2 pastas and a burrata. One pasta was delicious and the other felt a bit bland. Overall cute date place if you are craving Italian and it's close by, but not a place to go out of your way to visit from another area. It's good for the location and great addition to local addition to bedstuy Overall food was good but felt a bit overpriced. I think it's mostly because of location and lack of competition in the area. Burrata wasn't worth 17 dollars. And everything felt 1-3 dollars too expensive. Service was good and ambience was great. Not sure if I'll be visiting again but maybe if friends really want pasta.

Macosa is one of those spots that truly makes Brooklyn feel like Brooklyn. With its authentic (and amazing) food, rotating menu, cozy vibe, and attentive service, it's easily one of my top recommended places.

Service was good. We arrived without a reservation and waited about 10 minutes for a table in the backyard patio. Server was very attentive. We started off with the burrata, it was good but not the best I've had. Wish the burrata was a bigger serving as we had leftover bread. For entrees we ordered one of the nightly specials which was bone-in oxtail risotto and a pasta that contains chicken liver, brown butter, and onion (I'm blanking on the name). We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was delicious and finished off with tiramisu. The tiramisu also could of been better. It was heavy on the cream and almost had a soapy after taste. Ambiance was nice and highly recommend sitting outside especially now that it's warmer. Overall, food and experience were good and I would go back again to try more of the menu!

Busy Mother's Day night at the restaurant. My family got a table at the patio. The table is small, and the chair is not very comfortable. Even it is in the middle of spring but still cold and windy, the heater at the back didn't help at all. Food came fast and delicious. Bread is an extra and need to order as a side dish. - Insalata Pompelmo is yummy, and I love it. The sweet and sour contrast with funnel and arugula very good. - Insalata Mistacanza is okay, just a mix green and a bit too salty for me but my mom and my brother like it - Fritto Misto di Mare (fried mix seafood): pretty big and good for sharing for two or more. - My mom and my brother get Gnocchi and Amatriciana, so I don't know how is like, but they seem to love it. - Coda Alla Vaccinara: Delicious Oxtail, big portion for one if you are super hungry. In my case I share with family so I'm good. This menu is a special menu so I don't know if they will have this dish every day. As long as my mom loves it, I love it too. Service is a bit slow and missing some order, but I understand that the night is very busy, and the servers try to do the best to please customers.

The ribs were okay...Maybe because it was July 4, the meat was a little too chewy for my taste and I wish they were more of the fall-off-the-bone type. It was a warm day in the city so we opted to sit inside. Because it was my friend's birthday, we were given a little card and they gave us a candle alongside the pancakes! The server was nice and answered all our questions. We of course, got the hazelnut pancakes! We also tried to oat milk mocha, s'mores espresso, breakfast sandwich with avocado, and the cheddar biscuit. The food looked wonderful and tasted even better. As a southern gal, I was skeptical about the biscuits, but they were buttery and savory and fluffy. They were definitely more of a bready biscuit than a flaky one, but delightful nonetheless. The breakfast sandwich had a great flavor and I liked the option to add avocado to keep it vegetarian. I just wish there were more slices of avocado on it. The espresso was good but nothing too special. The star of the brunch would have to undoubtably be the pancakes. The hazelnut flavor was divine and coupled with a fluffy, cake like pancakes!! I definitely would go back just for the pancakes alone. I highly recommend eating here!!

And sadly, this is one. Sustainable packaging is great until it's not. Sub the scrambled eggs were melting into the box when they arrived. And had they arrived a moment later, they would have seeped through the box. Fine. I'll just get them out of the box, onto a real play. Ha. They must have been added to the box while they were fresh off a hot pan. A good amount was welded to the box. Annoying, but fine. And then the brew arrived without sugar or (paid for) oat milk. They hate me. It's ok, I'll just drink it black. And that's where 2 stars get knocked off. Worst tasting coffee ever. Cold brew is supposed to be smooth, with very little acid. This was extremely sour! As if it was made previously and had been sitting around for a couple of days. It took me a minute to realize how bad it was. And suffering as a result. Intense stomach pains and tummy issues. From coffee. Smh. I will probably eat there, in person. But I will never trust their cold brew again. Or delivery.

The waitress was super professional and gave us suggestions from the menu items. She suggested the Peaches Punch (rum and positive vibes) and she did not disappoint. Peaches Punch was sweet and citrus. My fam is southern, migrated from North Carolina to Brooklyn, so I am not a stranger to southern food. My mother was a sou cook in a small water front hotel on the intercostal waterway, so I confess I am a chair side critic of collard greens. I do not like collards simmered too sweet. I also like to add vinegar. So we ordered the fried catfish, cornbread, and collard greens. The catfish arrived seasoned and crispy. I added a dash of Texas Petes hot sauce, they seriously offer a variety of hot sauce. Love it. The collard greens were inviting, aromatic, and tender. The smell of the collards reminded me of Sunday dinner after training. Yes, it tasted old school, I greatly appreciated the southern vibe and the great southern hospitality. The main entrées were affordable and the drinks were worth every penny. This is within walking distance from my home. I will definitely return for collard greens. During a recent breakfast visit celebrating both my mother's birthday, I had a disappointing customer service experience. I would first like to recognize the young gentleman who served our table . A mexican young man. , He was professional, attentive, and courteous throughout our visit. The issue arose when I ordered a Peach Bellini that did not taste as expected. It lacked the peach flavor I had enjoyed on previous visits and tasted more like orange juice. I asked if it could be replaced with a ginger ale. My server was handling another table and zi was willing to wait. . But a women of Spanish decent light skin and heavy set approached our table and explained there were policies regarding returning something. . Rather than simply processing the substitution, she repeatedly encouraged me to keep the drink and offered to add more peach flavoring. I explained several times that I simply did not like the beverage and preferred a ginger ale instead.. I also told her I an celebrating a birthday abd do not wish to go back and forth. She tried to explain all drinks are made thd same which is not the same. She has to remember she does not just represent herself but the Peaches establishment. As a former bartender, I understand that drinks can vary, despite efforts at consistency. My concern was not the drink itself but the lengthy discussion. I felt pressured to justify a simple request during what was meant to be a special celebration Our bill exceeded $100, and as a longtime customer, I expected a more customer-focused response. If there is a formal policy regarding drink returns or exchanges, it would be helpful for it to be clearly posted. They eventually substituted it. But I should not have to goI though all that. Overall, my experiences at your restaurant have been very positive, which is why this incident stood out. The food was excellent, and our server was wonderful. I hope this feedback can be used as a coaching opportunity. Customer concerns are often best resolved through listening, empathy, and flexibility. .

I wanted to love it so much especially since TikTok critic/MMA fighter Keith Lee visited them in 2023, but my experience was not like his. I want to say that online reviews are almost about accurate. They were out of cold salads and collard greens which was an issue for other customers at times as well. No problem, they were super helpful and offered an alternative but not a good one. I had steamed vegetables that mashed in my mouth like mashed potatoes when I took a bite. I did end up going to another spot for collard greens and potato salad because you can't have soul-food without that. I had the rib dinner with mac n cheese and yams and a tiny piece of complimentary cornbread. The ribs definitely taste amazing but they don't take off the membrane in the back which is slimy and gross. I left that part behind. The yams were sweet and good BUT.....that mac n cheese is NOT soul-food Mac n cheese. Here's the thing I figured out, they use such little cheese but season the noodles very well that you don't truly notice unless you love mac n cheese, which I do, so I noticed it lacked so much cheese but had seasoned noodles. The rib dinner was a 3/5 because ribs were great but sides needed help. I had rice and peas as an additional side and fried wings. The wings were ATROCIOUS! I ate the smallest one and didn't eat the rest. How can you serve such huge feathered wings like that? It was a nightmare. The feathers being on it turned me off. This tells me they don't make their food with care, they move quick to be one and done and I want my food cooked with love and care. They were also frozen wings that were thawed and seasoned, I know the difference. The rice and peas were okay 3/5 as well. Overall the food was not worth the hype. Customer service was beautiful for sure but the food was not it.

The crispy potato tart was excellent. The potato was super crispy, and a bite with the salmon, egg, sour cream, and potato together was perfect.
