    Mushroom pasta

Perfect date night spot!! My girlfriend and I were able to get a table around 7:30 on a weeknight, the restaurant was so cute and cozy, and there was even live music! We shared the burrata and broccoli and I got the mushroom pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious and came out quickly! And was so fresh! Great service too :)

Small menu but absolutely delicious. The back patio was heated and a great casually elevated ambiance. The buratta didn't do the spilling thing so that was meh. The seafood souo was full of flavor. The pasta was good too. Great spot for the area

We only stopped in for drinks but I would have happily stayed for dinner. We ordered wine, rhubarb soda and an appetizer with mixed olives and bread. The bread. Was. So. Good. It was toasted and served with olive oil which was delicious. When the bread and olive oil are good at an Italian spot, you know the food is good too. I highly recommend the rhubarb soda (it's not on the handwritten paper menu) -- it's hard to find and a delicious treat!

I love this restaurant. The pasta is made fresh, and you can really tell. It is so good, and the quality is so high of both the texture and the flavor. The menu has the perfect variety of options too. The service is great as well, and the ambiance is calm and gently refined with exposed brick. The perfect vibe. 10/10 & I will definitely be back and will bring friends and family. So grateful to have this spot in my neighborhood!

Just so delicious. What was stand out to me was the pasta amatriciana and the meatball special. The tomato sauce tastes so simple yet so flavorful. Everything tastes very fresh. The server was a sweetheart too.

We were invited for a birthday gathering and enjoyed the intimacy of the snug backyard bohemian style patio space. Started with various appetizers: Artichoke, Buratta w grilled bread, Olives, ... Then for entrees: Oxtail Ragu Pappardelle , Wild Boar Rigatoni, Baccala with creamy Polenta, Gnocchi with brown butter and sage Each pasta dish was delicious and filling. Desserts were good too. The Tiramisu was divine!! Buon appétito! Grazie mille! Thank you for reading

We were excited to try this restaurant because it's highly rated and were sadly underwhelmed. It might've been an off night...so much potential! We snagged reservations for 630pm on a Saturday night and were seated promptly. We started off with burrata and sourdough, which was the absolute highlight. The burrata was CREAAAAMYYY and the bread was buttery and grilled, I literally could not get enough of the bread and was delighted when they gave us a refill. We ordered 3 pasta dishes: Bucatini - undercooked pasta and we could not flag down our server because they were so busy. 30 mins later we finally caught someone's attention and they were able to remove it from our bill. Sad because the sauce was really good. Gnocchi - not fluffy or pillowy. Tasted like frozen gnocchi from the grocery store. Pappardelle oxtail - this was a decent dish and all 3 of us shared it since it was the best pasta dish. Overall, a mediocre experience. There were only one or two servers working the ENTIRE restaurant, so it was understandable why service wasn't on point.

Cute little Italian spot! It got pretty busy while we were there but it was really easy to get a reservation for a weeknight. Service was quick and our pastas came out really fast! Got the oxtail pappardelle, gnocchi, and olive oil cake. Would recommend them all but portions are on the smaller side.

Delicious pasta either great ambience in the backyard. We visited last year in the fall and I got demolished by mosquitoes. We got 2 pastas and a burrata. One pasta was delicious and the other felt a bit bland. Overall cute date place if you are craving Italian and it's close by, but not a place to go out of your way to visit from another area. It's good for the location and great addition to local addition to bedstuy Overall food was good but felt a bit overpriced. I think it's mostly because of location and lack of competition in the area. Burrata wasn't worth 17 dollars. And everything felt 1-3 dollars too expensive. Service was good and ambience was great. Not sure if I'll be visiting again but maybe if friends really want pasta.

Macosa is one of those spots that truly makes Brooklyn feel like Brooklyn. With its authentic (and amazing) food, rotating menu, cozy vibe, and attentive service, it's easily one of my top recommended places.

Service was good. We arrived without a reservation and waited about 10 minutes for a table in the backyard patio. Server was very attentive. We started off with the burrata, it was good but not the best I've had. Wish the burrata was a bigger serving as we had leftover bread. For entrees we ordered one of the nightly specials which was bone-in oxtail risotto and a pasta that contains chicken liver, brown butter, and onion (I'm blanking on the name). We also ordered a bottle of wine, which was delicious and finished off with tiramisu. The tiramisu also could of been better. It was heavy on the cream and almost had a soapy after taste. Ambiance was nice and highly recommend sitting outside especially now that it's warmer. Overall, food and experience were good and I would go back again to try more of the menu!

Busy Mother's Day night at the restaurant. My family got a table at the patio. The table is small, and the chair is not very comfortable. Even it is in the middle of spring but still cold and windy, the heater at the back didn't help at all. Food came fast and delicious. Bread is an extra and need to order as a side dish. - Insalata Pompelmo is yummy, and I love it. The sweet and sour contrast with funnel and arugula very good. - Insalata Mistacanza is okay, just a mix green and a bit too salty for me but my mom and my brother like it - Fritto Misto di Mare (fried mix seafood): pretty big and good for sharing for two or more. - My mom and my brother get Gnocchi and Amatriciana, so I don't know how is like, but they seem to love it. - Coda Alla Vaccinara: Delicious Oxtail, big portion for one if you are super hungry. In my case I share with family so I'm good. This menu is a special menu so I don't know if they will have this dish every day. As long as my mom loves it, I love it too. Service is a bit slow and missing some order, but I understand that the night is very busy, and the servers try to do the best to please customers.

BEASTED! Nice Italian joint! Didn't have to wait too long for staying on a Saturday night which was nice. The bar is full service and pretty roomy. The paper planes the bartended crafted for us were delightful. Two of us were able to share a starter and an entre each without feeling like we over ate. Good quality food, a tad on the expensive side for the portions but overall a good pick. Would recommend to anyone craving some hearty Italian food in the area.

I visited in the evening. Who knows? My potato salad was a bit bland, and I was hoping for some pickle relish mixed in. (If you know, you know.) I'm not a fan of cobbler, but I thought I'd give it a shot. They also had apple cobbler, which I should have stuck with. I can't tell you how the cornbread dressing was. The waitress was super professional and gave us suggestions from the menu items. She suggested the Peaches Punch (rum and positive vibes) and she did not disappoint. Peaches Punch was sweet and citrus. My fam is southern, migrated from North Carolina to Brooklyn, so I am not a stranger to southern food. My mother was a sou cook in a small water front hotel on the intercostal waterway, so I confess I am a chair side critic of collard greens. I do not like collards simmered too sweet. I also like to add vinegar. So we ordered the fried catfish, cornbread, and collard greens. The catfish arrived seasoned and crispy. I added a dash of Texas Petes hot sauce, they seriously offer a variety of hot sauce. Love it. The collard greens were inviting, aromatic, and tender. The smell of the collards reminded me of Sunday dinner after training. Yes, it tasted old school, I greatly appreciated the southern vibe and the great southern hospitality. The main entrées were affordable and the drinks were worth every penny. This is within walking distance from my home. I will definitely return for collard greens. Please make a date to sit out on the sidewalk and order those collards.

During a recent breakfast visit celebrating both my mother's birthday, I had a disappointing customer service experience. I would first like to recognize the young gentleman who served our table . A mexican young man. , He was professional, attentive, and courteous throughout our visit. The issue arose when I ordered a Peach Bellini that did not taste as expected. It lacked the peach flavor I had enjoyed on previous visits and tasted more like orange juice. I asked if it could be replaced with a ginger ale. My server was handling another table and zi was willing to wait. . But a women of Spanish decent light skin and heavy set approached our table and explained there were policies regarding returning something. . Rather than simply processing the substitution, she repeatedly encouraged me to keep the drink and offered to add more peach flavoring. I explained several times that I simply did not like the beverage and preferred a ginger ale instead.. I also told her I an celebrating a birthday abd do not wish to go back and forth. She tried to explain all drinks are made thd same which is not the same. She has to remember she does not just represent herself but the Peaches establishment. As a former bartender, I understand that drinks can vary, despite efforts at consistency. My concern was not the drink itself but the lengthy discussion. I felt pressured to justify a simple request during what was meant to be a special celebration Our bill exceeded $100, and as a longtime customer, I expected a more customer-focused response. If there is a formal policy regarding drink returns or exchanges, it would be helpful for it to be clearly posted. They eventually substituted it. But I should not have to goI though all that. Overall, my experiences at your restaurant have been very positive, which is why this incident stood out. The food was excellent, and our server was wonderful. I hope this feedback can be used as a coaching opportunity. Customer concerns are often best resolved through listening, empathy, and flexibility. .

I almost don't want to share this review for fear that the line may get longer but this restaurant is now one of the few that I recommend you go out of your way to try and enjoy. Their menu is classically simple but made with an abundance of care and no shortcuts in their cooking. As you are seated you are welcome to place your order in the front of the glass display, they cook everything in house and sometimes they run out of the specials so don't sleep on getting there on time. We ended up getting their lunch specials and picked one main and two sides. I know my girl loves Ox Tails and ended up getting the last plate with some candied yams and Mac and cheese. Don't come here if you're on a diet there is only one way to enjoy this restaurant and it's to just dive in. FYI - you will need a nap after your meal. I wanted to love it so much especially since TikTok critic/MMA fighter Keith Lee visited them in 2023, but my experience was not like his. I want to say that online reviews are almost about accurate. They were out of cold salads and collard greens which was an issue for other customers at times as well. No problem, they were super helpful and offered an alternative but not a good one. I had steamed vegetables that mashed in my mouth like mashed potatoes when I took a bite. I did end up going to another spot for collard greens and potato salad because you can't have soul-food without that. I had the rib dinner with mac n cheese and yams and a tiny piece of complimentary cornbread. The ribs definitely taste amazing but they don't take off the membrane in the back which is slimy and gross. I left that part behind. The yams were sweet and good BUT.....that mac n cheese is NOT soul-food Mac n cheese. Here's the thing I figured out, they use such little cheese but season the noodles very well that you don't truly notice unless you love mac n cheese, which I do, so I noticed it lacked so much cheese but had seasoned noodles. The rib dinner was a 3/5 because ribs were great but sides needed help. I had rice and peas as an additional side and fried wings. The wings were ATROCIOUS! I ate the smallest one and didn't eat the rest. How can you serve such huge feathered wings like that? It was a nightmare. The feathers being on it turned me off. This tells me they don't make their food with care, they move quick to be one and done and I want my food cooked with love and care. They were also frozen wings that were thawed and seasoned, I know the difference. The rice and peas were okay 3/5 as well. Overall the food was not worth the hype. Customer service was beautiful for sure but the food was not it.

I was in the mood for a " comfort food"breakfast, you know, eggs, avocado, mozzarella, tomato, deliciousness and I found it on the menu simply named "Breakfast Sandwich". Which consists of voila: Mozzarella, avocado, tomato jam, arugula, crispy bacon, dijonaise, sunny side up egg between multigrain toasts. I ordered this sans the bacon ( requested turkey bacon which they do not have). What arrived in my plate was this decadent open faced egg sandwich that looked delectable.. and was!! Let's first talk about the wheat toast: I tasted it naked and it simply melted in my mouth. The ingredients worked well together, perfect synchronicity. I used one half of the toast to sop up any fallen ingredients. Highly recommend! For a drink, I wanted something a bit different, thus, ordered the Mango Mint Peach tea, fruity with a hint of mint. Loved it and went well with the Sammy!
