I loved the coconut flakes on them! Next time I hope to try some of the others on the menu, as they have a variety and they can be customized a bit. The Pao de Queijo breads were almost shaped like muffins and had an interesting, texture but were super cheesy and I would definitely order again. Chicken was flavorful and moist, the focaccia was decent (needed more indicators of a real focaccia (dimpled indentations on top, olive oil forward exterior, etc) but it was good. It's also very filling so it's worth the $22. I would have preferred a whole grilled chicken patty instead of chopped grilled chicken but flavor wise it's not a big deal. Fries are classic shoestring fries. Akin to a McDonald's fry in appearance but less oily and salty (good thing). Lattes were good but nothing special. Pão de queijo (cheesy bread) was also very good. The brunch cocktail list, coffee list, and fresh juice / smoothie list is comprehensive and has something for everyone! Deciding to double my caffeine, I had the cold brew and an espresso martini. I was always unsure of the vibe here and even after going I don't think I really got a comprehensive understanding. It seems like there is a cafe portion and then a more sit down service area. The area for table service was closed up for the day so I really only got to see the cafe side in all its glory. It was very cute! Pitanga was a Brazilian treat for this Portuguese soul. My heart instantly skipped a beat when I noticed all the Brazilian specialities on the menu from Brazilian coffee, breakfast, and pastries. We started with two large cold brews (less ice) with almond and oat milk. The coffee was a good strong flavored cup of joe! The Pao de Queijo was HUGE, which was surprising because I'm used to the small bites. It was great to share amongst two people as a starter or pallet opener. It was such a beautiful day for late October that we preferred outside patio service/seating. We ordered the Avocado Toast and Eggs and Chicken Sandwich (chipotle mayo on side). We decided to share so we could both taste the deliciousness...both very filling solo or shared. I highly recommend the yuca fries with the Chicken Sandwich. First time here for brunch, Espresso machine was broken, no Bloody Marys on the menu, but mainly we were not offered refills or more water and were thirsty the whole time. We also weren't given any ice for our drinks/water despite it being hot outside. We were also not checked in on by our server until it was time for the bill, although we kept trying to get any other servers attention since we needed sugar. Within the hour we were there, the servers dropped 3 things onto us/our table when handing our food to us, causing a mess each time; Cold Brew, Butter, and toast. 2 stars cause the food was good, but not filling. Also we were only given literally 1 napkin each person, and tried but couldn't wave down anyone for more. I ordered the quinoa bowl which was quite tasty and healthy as well (a rarity in my book haha). However, I wish they would have an option to add protein. On top of that, I understand packaging coffee is difficult for deliveries but there's no good reason half of the coffee should've spilled before I got it. This is moreso the fault of the courier I'm sure but at the same time it's important for the restaurants to try to ensure safe packaging of all items. I love their Parfait, it was my go to breakfast during the summer. However, the weather is getting colder and this time I decided to try the Oatmeal. OMG it's perfect.
