This place gets mixed reviews but I liked it. It appeals to the girly girl crowd. I had chicken waffles with a guava lemonade. I ordered hash browns to go. The food was tasty. I somewhat agree $20 might be pricey for some. The prices are based on the area. Also I didn't finish my waffle because I was full. It is a good vibe and there is also a little Instagramable area for social media. I like the decor and I didn't feel rushed. It is a nice little spot if one lives in the area. I am not sure about traveling here being that is it small. The server (well I got the vibe she was one of the #2chix ) informed me pinkmas will be taking place this weekend. A Caribbean bake (family recipe for generations) topped with savory saltfish, a perfectly cooked poached egg, and chipotle aioli, served with sweet plantains. I was asked how my eggs can be prepared and you can get it cooked not runny. The waffles are just the right amount of sweetness, and the thick-cut bacon is spot on. The outdoor seating was nice. Our server seemed nice and personable. Food was ok. My fried chicken was a bit tough, and the waffle was dry and not fluffy and moist. Also it took *forever* to get our food. It wasn't very crowded, so really not sure why the extended delay. read more

I wanted to love this place but I was disappointed. The service however was VERY nice. The waffle was really soft, soggy. It's only 1 waffle & a small piece of chicken for $20. I prefer a crispy waffle and it's just expensive. The powder was too much. Chicken was good. We also got a $50 mimosa pitcher that tasted artificial and wasn't strong at all. We shared between 2 people, each had about 4 drinks and didn't feel the alcohol at all. For the 2 of us it was around $96 and I left hungry. read more

Their Mad Love Hash Brown Bowl is honestly one of my favorites on the menu -- it's super flavorful, filling, and just hits every single time. And the Autumn Bliss Waffle... that one is crazy good. It's warm, sweet, and just feels like comfort food. Also, the customer service is always on point. Everyone is really friendly and makes you feel welcomed, which I appreciate. Words cannot express the vibe I experienced here! The food was delicious, I was sad they sold out of the Mac bites though, but that just means I need to come back! The service was amazing, the venue was super cute, I love how they decorated the venue, especially for Halloween! The owner and staff were everything! I mean, we had such a great, deep, personal and real conversation. It was so genuine and pure! My advice to others, before you post judgement on someone or their business, maybe you should speak to them first or get to know them, learn the back story of people's journey before you speak negatively on them! First I want to say that the customers service was absolutely fantastic. This spot was small but very adorable. A very instagram worthy establishment. Now to the food... -French Toast Sando had hella bacon, eggs were fluffy and seasoned nicely but overall the sando was underwhelming -bake and saltfish sliders had a nice bite but again underwhelming. While I was impressed with the customer service I don't know if I would go back for the food. read more

Had been excited to try this place as it's down the street from my house but it was honestly a bit disappointing. The waffles for both of us were a bit soft/soggy. The chicken and shrimp in the surf n turf waffle plate was a bit too fried. The berries we had added were not fresh and were also very soggy (like they had been sitting out for a while). The grits were pretty flavorless as well. Our drinks were pretty tasty but that was likely the highlight. The eggs I ordered on the side were fine but also hard to mess up over medium eggs. Made reservations ahead of time which I highly suggest as the space is incredibly small and popular. It was cool the be able to order everything online and pay the tab in the same manner. No interaction with sever needed unless there was an issue which there wasn't. The pink concept is soooooo cute! Loved the beautiful design. I got the pink waffle and was able to customize it to my liking. I got a side of cheesy eggs and bacon. The wings were deliciously sauced. I got a lemonade with an edible straw for razzle dazzle. What a great find only a short walk from our Airbnb! We loved our food and drinks. The peach tea was light and refreshing. The hash bowl was very hearty and filling and they offer options with and without meat/bacon. The chicken and waffles were amazing - the chicken was tender and juicy, with a sweet, glazed, crispy breaded outside. Waffles were pink, in line with the color scheme of the place. There is outdoor seating in the back patio area, as well as some limited indoor seating. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area! read more

This place was mediocre at best. I liked the decor. It was a sweet, classy vibe but even that did not save this girl's brunch. They were very accommodating. We were not rushed throughout the entire meal. However, they did not have the macaroni and cheese bites. This is literally one of only three appetizer options. With such a limited menu, there's really no excuse to be out of items. We got the plantains which were just fine. The chicken was okay. The waffles were decent. Everything was fine. There was literally nothing to write home about. The drinks were more disappointing. The sorrel drink was so syrupy. The chix punch was not well mixed so it tasted like juice at the beginning and alcohol at the bottom. The mimosas were the best part of the meal. I suppose they can get extra points for separating our bills without asking, although they did add in their own 18% gratuity for a lunch of four. I've never seen that before. read more

The star of the show, Waffle Bae, was fluffy and flavorful with strawberries, topped with creamy, light whipped cream, pink sprinkles, and powdered sugar. The guava lemonade and orange juice were refreshing. For the Paradise Chicken and Waffles, the chicken breast was tender and had a nice crispy breading. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I made a reservation for the backyard and was not able to sit there. However, I'm glad I wasn't because the music seem to be blasting and I wouldn't be able to have a conversation so we sat inside. However, the AC was pretty strong Causing my friend's coffee to get cold because she was waiting for milk which she never received and just reached over the counter to get some half-and-half. We were told at the end by a server how they were understaffed today which is unfortunate. the French toast sandwich with egg, cheese and hash brown was mediocre. * We waited for more than an hour for our food. * As a group of 8, we were forced to pay a flat fee of $35 per person instead of ordering whatever we wanted. As part of this, we received two pitchers and some appetizers in addition to each person's entree. We could only pick 2 types of appetizers. (It's in the background of the photo!!) I want to believe they had physical menus so maybe just ask for one. I ordered the "Social Media Toast". The description says it's "Two pieces of toast topped with smashed avocado, honey and red pepper flakes" (KEEP THIS IN MIND!!) I'm not big on spicy so I was like just a few flakes & I ordered the Peach Tea as well. My toast comes out the bread is very thin & I looked at the avocado on the toast & it is not "SMASHED". Instead it is some kind of puréed avocado with a spread like consistency. The honey definitely weighed down the bread since it was so thin. The flavor was okay nothing to write about. Worst catering experience I've ever had. I work in a space where I am constantly hiring vendors for events. We came back with our champagne and we had to ask for glasses. The waitress looked confused again, but brought out water cups. The food took 50mins to come out (bake & salt fish, side of fries, waffles , french toast and egg&salt fish) and the portion size was mediocre at best! Our ENTREES were served on super cute pink 6in appetizer plates and $18 for a soggy tiny pink waffles... just was not it! I hate leaving brunch still hungry!! Me and a friend are here after checking out, and the service is definitely slower than what you may be used to so be prepared to wait a long time to order, receive food, and get the check. However I'm assuming the name of the restaurant means that only two chicks work in the entire restaurant so be sure to give them some grace as they are indeed working hard. The aesthetic of the place is very cute and the food is pretty decent too! I believe we ordered the two chick bowl hash and it was pretty good (my favorite are the hash browns) but it wasn't anything to run home about.
