This is a great bar! Very spacious, great ambiance for a date and not too loud to chat with friends, large food menu where everything is excellent, huge affordable drinks. We all enjoyed our massive 32oz drinks that are the same price as a single cocktail in Manhattan. The chicken sandwich was GREAT, and chicken sandwiches can be really hit or miss. I was really impressed with the quality of the chicken. The fries are really good too, similar to 7th Street Burger's where they're crispy on the outside but soft inside. The burgers looked amazing. My friend who ordered the tacos didn't love hers, though. All of that said, this is definitely the new pregame spot any time I'm in the neighborhood! read more

This place is inconsistent. I had take out about a year ago. All food was totally delicious. Yesterday I went in person and one of the dishes was good and one was not good and had barely any of the ingredients it was supposed to have. Drinks weren't great either. Ambiance isn't bad but I wouldn't really think of this place for my outings. read more

Very clean inside, & attentive & friendly staff. Very cool interior, good music / vibe, & fresh pils on tap, great salads. The food here slaps. My only complaint is that the lunch menu is very limited, & a lot of the dishes are only available at dinner, & I'm really a lunch person. They make awesome wings, & the chicken parm w/ pasta vodka sauce is also off the hook - need them at lunch / pre-siesta ! Also - live jazz on Tue PM's. I came here for Saturday brunch. We arrived about a half hour after opening and we were the only ones there. Rather than a restaurant, this place is more of a lounge and bar with a shuffle board table in the back. It has a few tables throughout, but they are quite low and not really set up for eating so it's a bit awkward for brunch. They have a QR code menu. You order at the bar and can sit anywhere. They bring your food to your table. I ordered the sprouts hash. They were out of some of the ingredients so I literally got just a bowl of brussel sprouts with an egg on top. I let the waiter know and they were super apologetic and said they didn't get a chance to update the menu with the changes to the dish. They gave me a free drink to make up for it, which I appreciated. I got the lychee martini. It was sweet and juicy. My sister got a side of breakfast potatoes (which they also comped for us because of the mistake with my entree) and grits and gravy. She said they were tasty, but the portion sizes were a bit small. They were definitely having an off day because while we were seated, one of their beer taps leaked on the floor. Despite the mishaps, their customer service was great and they made sure we had everything we needed. I'd probably still check them out at night for the bar scene, which I think may be more of their wheelhouse. read more

I've been to this place twice now and I want to like it. But I give up. The service here is really bad! Some of the staff is rude (mainly the man standing behind the bar and texting while refusing to serve customers water)) One server will take away your plate before you're even done but will leave a dirty plate stacked with trash sitting in front of your friend for hours. Was there a manager who trained employees? It doesn't seem like it. Oh and if you're a restaurant , serve water instead of making customers get their own. Or are you a bar? It's confusing as the staff is confused. read more

This was such a lovely bar to sit at and work on my laptop. I showed up around 7pm on a Thursday and there were a few empty seats left at the counter. The bartender was super friendly and seemed to know most people who walked in. The bar is dog friendly and I believe they host comedy shows in the back on certain days. The drink I got (which I can't remember the name) was refreshing, while the fried shrimp dish was extremely tasty! This seems like a very non-judgement establishment and I felt very comfortable sitting alone at the bar. I was also easily able to find parking nearby. read more

Cool spot with good prices but last night I was there and got stung by a wasp that was in the cushion of the bar stool. How the hell do you have wasps in your bar? Bartender said there used to be a wasp nest out back. I seriously cannot wrap my head around how you have wasps in your bar and are so non chalant about it. I'll probably go back though read more

Not sure how this place doesn't have reviews yet. Wow wow WOW what a cute hidden gem. You walk in and instantly feel good. It's warm, bright, a natural and clean feeling. I love the decor! The bar is so beautiful but don't forget to walk all the way in the back! Super cozy. Our server was awesome, super friendly. We ordered the purple rain cocktail and the bartender brought simple syrup on the side because I guess people want it sweeter?? I absolutely LOVE this bar! Great vibes, live DJS, delicious food and friendly service. We came on a Friday with a group of friends and drank too much (the giant drinking chalices they use are kitschy & an ode to the name Doublé & so well priced). The place was packed and it's pretty clearly becoming a trendy neighborhood hot spot. I'll be back to attend some events since they host comedy nights and live bands. read more
