A great Williamsburg spot! They blend traditional Mexican home cooking with dishes found in the markets of Oaxaca, Puebla and Mexico City. There's plenty of space, so it's perfect for a date or outing with friends. Come have a hearty meal and a delicious margarita! We Tried: *Pollo en Mole Casero - Chicken crusted with toasted sesame seeds, nuts & spices in our mole negro with Mexican rice & corn tortillas *Bruselas - Fried brussel sprouts, mint, chile serrano & pomegranate *Queso Fundido - Melted cheese with choice of chorizo con papas or roasted mushrooms with corn tortillas *Churros - Churros, cajeta, chocolate Everything we tried was delicious!! The staff were nice, and the vibe was good!

We had walked by many times and finally decided to come try it. We really enjoyed it. It's a very nice and cozy location. The staff were friendly and made great recommendations. Above all the food was delicious.

An amazing brunch spot. Honestly hard to find good brunch food thats atypical. Great ambiance and service as well. Surprised this place is not more crowded. I definitely will go back and do recommend trying it at least once. Worth the trip to Greenpoint.

Fantastic spot in the neighborhood that opened during the covid era ! Staff is mega friendly, family like environment, the food is SO flavorable, and they hand postcards with the bill (does it get any better than that)?! See you next week !

The tuna tostadas were AMAZING. I wish I could eat them for breakfast every day. The tanaraind margarita was very nice, not too sour. The queso with chorizo was a bit too salty. I'd go again.

This place has me in a chokehold! The tuna tostada are out of this world good. The drinks and the ambiance is just right. The desserts were so good. My waiter actually sat down with me to go over the menu. He had patience and explained and recommended dishes in great detail. Would def go back.

Stopped in for a drink before dinner and had a drink at the bar! Adorable place. I had the agave gimlet which was perfect because I already had chosen gin as my liquor of choice for the night. I don't really like to mix so I appreciated that they had a gin cocktail. I have never had mezcal gin before and man, did I love it! I am not the biggest mezcal fan but this was much more mellow while also having the smokey aspect of mezcal. The cocktail was delicious! Service was quick and attentive. Will stop in for dinner next time.

Neat spot near the park. The restaurant decor is very simple and gives a great Mexican vibe. Came in right after they opened and service was quick. I got the happy hour chicken tacos and churros. It was a nice light meal for me. I am definitely coming back!

I walked by here a few weeks ago, and something about the scent from the kitchen and warm summer night vibes gave me the sense this was a winner. While I didn't have a chance to sample their alluring mezcal negroni on a weeknight, the limited dishes we sampled were all stellar. I came specifically for the vegetarian enchiladas suizas, which I can say confidently were the best enchiladas I've ever tasted. Neither too heavy nor too light, and served with a thick yet tangy green salsa. I'll be back with a larger group to sample more of their menu!

The food was very yummy, and the ambiance was immaculate. I will be going back for brunch again. The pricing was reasonable. Each sauce that came with the meal suited the dish perfectly. I was a little disappointed with the birria Benedict; usually, it's an English muffin, but the restaurant put its spin on it and made its own revision of the muffin. For me, it was a little too thick, and the flavor of the dough overpowered the birra and egg with sauce

The menu is pretty diverse with various appetizers, sushi, and also ramen/curry so your standard izakaya fare. One of my favorite dishes here has been the chirashi. The fish was very fresh and it's pretty affordable. I've only ever been here in groups of two and I probably would recommend it for smaller groups because the space itself is small and most of the tables are two-seaters if I recall correctly.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.
