All the food we tasted has been great. Service is fast. Small but cozy. Highly recommend.

I went w a friend after having a spa day and this place came up on my TikTok feed so I decided to try it .. they didn't have seats available outside but they had a patio that we decided to try. Everything was going well until it looked like it was going to start to rain . We were sitting in a corner of the patio which when it did start to rain we were getting soaked and when asked can we be moved inside was told the inside was full. So I'm sure this is not the first time it rains so don't you think they should be prepared for this? Our appetizer came was getting wet wasn't to happy with my pomegranate martini we still stood there they just moved the tables more inside n even to another table which still was getting wet but still I was getting soaked not even offered a complimentary drink for the inconvenience or maybe a discount for what was happening I wanted to get up n leave but we was like we here let's just deal with it. I think the establishment should handle these scenarios better besides that the food was fresh but just took a few bites n wanted to leave I was over it and I'm shoulders were wet wanted to dry up . So to the establishment maybe try to get a better cover when it rains or don't sit anyone in the patio if it's raining . read more

I was in the Williamsburg area window shopping and I happened to be near Oregano plus it was bookmarked. The restaurant doesn't seem that large from the outside, and in this case looks aren't deceiving. The circular tables were too small for the amount of food that we had ordered. I don't suggest coming here if you have a large party. However, the decor was very festive so that made up for it. The service was great too. We had decided to start off with the Truffle Burrata Crostini which was very good. The Chicken Francese which came with noodles was a good portion size. However, the Williamsburg pizza, I could've done without. It wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be and it was a bit too salty for my taste buds. I was told that it's a popular dish which had me wondering. Of course, I had to eat dessert, we got the Nutella Sundae. Omg! Another cute whimsical vintage decorated spot in Williamsburg. A tiny kitchen pumps out pizza and pasta with some salads and mains. I do think the pizza was a tad on the small side but it was exceptionally tasty, it's not a true Neapolitan style, it's kind of a cross between that and a thin NY pizza. The staff were really nice, and prices were average for Brooklyn. It's a small spot so I wouldn't recommend for large groups unless you reserve in advance. read more

So good that I was here twice in one week! Food, drinks, ambiance are all 10/10. Their cocktails are some of the best I've had--highly recommend their pomegranate martini and blush punch. For food, I love anything that has their vodka sauce (gnocchi vodka/penne alla vodka). The gnocchi was perfectly dense and soft at the same time and the penne was cooked perfectly. I would recommend adding their breaded chicken on top! Their chicken parm is cooked beautifully and I didn't feel disgustingly full and bloated after a decent amount of carbs and fried/breaded food. This spot is small but the ambiance is *it*. There is an open kitchen so you can watch the chef prepare everything--pretty cool! Good date night spot or for smaller groups. I also would recommend making a reservation to ensure that you can grab a seat where you want (dining room or outside). Had a wonderful dinner with my family of 4 at Oregano to celebrate Father's Day this year! It was our first time dining there. We made a same day reservation and were seated immediately as we walked in. The space is tiny. We went around 6:30 and it was very dark inside/dim lighting, but cute. The walls covered in shelving storage holding up extra bottles of wine, champagnes through one whole side of the wall - looks nice. I noticed that our host, was also our server and bartender. He was moving fast throughout the space and was very kind and attentive to our table. We all enjoyed our meals: for the most part all ordered a pasta dish that we enjoyed. My daughter, who is 10, ordered a pizza she didn't enjoy and had a few complaints: there's no children's menu options and the round tables together is weird and uncomfortable, too many gaps in btwn. Such an amazing experience! My friend and i were able to snag a table around 9:30 (shoutout to the hostess forreal!!) the ambiance is so cute! Perfect for friends or dates. The music wasn't too loud and the service was impeccable. Now onto the drinks and the food: 100% fantastic! My friend had the prosciutto pizza and i had the fettuccine alla vodka with lobster. Fresh homemade pasta. Lobster pieces were huge. My friend's pizza was sensational- perfectly doughy without being burnt and the sauce was so good! This place was *chef's kiss* amazing! We ordered a bottle of the Chianti with the burrata appetizer, gnocchi vodka and Williamsburg pizza. I came here Tuesday evening after I spent the day at Bathhouse spa. It was a couple blocks away. The restaurant was small but really nice inside. I sat by the window that was open so there was a beautiful breeze. The server immediately came over and greeted me. He was very friendly and attentive. I ordered garlic bread and penne a la vodka. The food was really 11/10. Wow! Every bite, I couldn't believe how good it was. I didn't have any room for dessert but I can only imagine. I will definitely be coming back. This is my new spot! This is a small quaint restaurant in Greenpoint where you watch the chef prepare your food in a wide open kitchen. It is small but comfortable and nicely decorated like a family restaurant should be. The chicken parmigiana with penne was some of the best I have had and the pasta with seafood was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent, friendly and fast. The bread could have been my meal it was so good. Make reservations because there are not many tables probably with a capacity of no more than 40 patrons. Everything here is main with intention, consideration, methodical planning, so you get the perfect bite of mouthwatejng cheese, drink-worthy red sauce, all supported on a slab ot moist chicken whose outsides have been cooked a crisp (exactly how I like it). Cute little spot with great italian food. The interior has warm lighting, and a partially open kitchen where you can see the pizza oven and chef making pasta. There are mugshots of famous celebrities on the wall, and its a nice moody vibe. The space is a little small, but not a big issue. They have a great menu with tons of options. The cavatelli with sausage and broccolli rabe was amazing, and so savory. The vodka brutale pasta was creamy and had a nice kick of spice. I wish they had bread on the side. Beyond impressed by the food at Oregano and I am a tough Italian food critic. We got the truffle burrata, one order of the vodka penne and the spicy vodka sauce pasta - both were TO DIE FOR. The sauce is made with the freshest tomatoes, you can tell by how red/orange the sauce is. Drinks were amazing as well and price of everything was incredibly fair. We WILL be coming back. read more

I came here on a Saturday with my friend and not only was the food aggressively mid but the service could not have been worse. We didn't get water for 20 minutes and they didn't refill it for the rest of the night. Our Caesar salad took 50 minutes and we only got it because we asked the waiter to check on our food. You know it's bad when we didn't even want to risk waiting for dessert; we would have been waiting until tomorrow morning! Our experience (2 person party) at Oregano was frustrating to say the least. We waited over an hour for our food while table after table, all seated after us, received their meals, drinks, eating. We sat there watching it happen with no explanation, updates, or urgency from the staff. Asked to speak with the manager, the response was laughable. Instead of an apology or solution, we were given a weak excuse about "how the kitchen organizes orders, what time our order went it etc..." Really? That somehow didn't apply to the tables that came in and ordered after us? Lol okay **2/10- food was good** No one took ownership, and no effort was made to make things right. Im disappointed in Oregano when there are plenty of other places in the neighborhood that actually afford their guests better experiences. My Recommendation: *Better train Managers on basic skills* While as a customer on a Saturday night I can understand things happen with orders and delays, there is no excuse for a Manager NOT: taking accountability, providing validation, taking action, and following up. Very cute, somewhat unassuming/hidden spot amongst the hustle and bustle of Williamsburg - which I usually avoid bc well it's Williamsburg. Love the interior: small but mighty. The service was great, relaxed, kind, chill, helpful. We ordered a salad and a pizza with fig, goat chz, prosciutto and added caramelized onions. Good all the way around. I WILL be venturing back, despite its location lol.. I've actually have wanted to go here a while so I'm happy this place didn't disappoint. When I go back tho.. we'll be ordering the carbonara. I mean, it's Williamsburg, BK, let's start there. Williamsburg is such a vibe by itself. Anyway, the restaurant sits on the corner of a neighborhood. It's very small, intimate, chill and Italian vibes. The food was phenomenal. It's like if you have a significant other, and you're strolling through the neighborhood in a summer evening and you discover this place, go in and now all of a sudden you're in Little Italy.
