I've been to this location multiple times and I always look forward to returning after I leave. Pretty clean, cozy smoothie bar. Service is pretty quick never too long of a wait. I love that it's committed to providing more fresh and healthy foods in our communities. And this our way of different options for you to pick from depending on what's your lifestyle. I usually opt for on their smoothies and their avocado toast. But I definitely wanna come back to try their protein shake, and an açai bowl. read more

Baya Bar - Acai & Smoothie Shop - Baya Blues Smoothie - Acai Bowls Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I was in the mood for a healthy dinner and decided to order the Bella Nutella Acai Bowl and Brain Power Juice. This is not my usual Baya Bar that is near me in Bay Ridge, accompanied my mom to her Weill Cornell appointment and ordered this after dropping her off to Canarsie. The bowl consists of granola, strawberries, bananas, coconut shavings and Nutella drizzle. It's tasty and fresh but have to say the portion seemed a bit small. I saved the Brain Power juice, pineapple, kale, spinach, apple, lemon and ginger for breakfast to go. read more

I can't believe there's a gem of a spot like this in South Brooklyn! We were craving something refreshing in the neighborhood and stumbled upon Baya Bar. There were several people waiting for their orders upon arrival, as everything's made fresh and on the spot. This was my first time trying a Pitaya Bowl, which is basically a dragonfruit base that's sweeter and not as tart as an açaí base. I'm a huge fan of dragonfruit, so this bowl was perfect for me! I subbed the Nutella for Honey to give the bowl a lighter topping, as the fruit and granola toppings were sweet enough for me. I recommend eating the bowls as soon as you can because the base starts to melt. Besides, the thicker base tastes and holds better! Glad that they're opening other locations around NYC. Since it's a "colder" meal, I overall would visit again when the weather is much warmer! read more

Baya bar is always a good option for a sweet healthy-ish treat. I placed an order over the phone and was ready within 10 minutes. Be aware the sizes are small and they fill the bowls halfway. It's definitely not for health fanatics but hits the spot when needed read more

I come here often. For the açai, a bowl which has Nutella strawberries, bananas, coconut, and granola. I also get the kale smoothie, which is very healthy. Every time I come in here. I enjoy my selection that I get to eat. read more

Two stars because it was good but no way I am going back to this place to spend $14 on a bowl..... for Nutella to be stuck on the cap of my bowl (what was I supposed to do scrape it off?) like honestly it's insane with the prices.... How are you charging me a SURCHARGE for picking up my own bowl? Or am I getting charged a surcharge for using your business? Lol crazy. read more

Baya Bar - Acai & Smoothie Shop - Acai Bowls Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I highly recommend coming here for the açaí! Prices are so reasonable and it's delicious. They really take time to make sure the açaí bowl not only tastes good but also looks amazing! Definitely a great addition to the neighborhood, staff is very kind towards customers. read more

I love Baya Bar. It's the closest I'll get to a Caribbean acai bowl. It leaves you feeling nourished, energized and not bloated. Me and my friend got the Acai-U-later bowl after the beach. Everything was good, just that the pineapple was a bit hard and maybe not fully ripe. Sooo refreshing! Parking was easy, found free street parking on a weekday. I would come back again and try other things on the menu too. read more

Baya Bar - Acai & Smoothie Shop - Acai U Later - Acai Bowls Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Highly recommend this place if you want really small açaí bowls with canned fruits. There's absolutely nothing special about their açaí bowls and it's very very small. For the price, you are definitely not getting what you paid for. read more

Did not indicate that the granola contained nuts!! My friend spent 21$ on two small bowls and thankfully realized there were almonds in them . The staff was quickly told and instead of making new bowls for her said that she would have to pay for two new ones with the almond free granola ... never heard of customer service like this... They have a sign that says the granola container nuts hidden in a Frame in the corner of the establishment where you eat - no where close to the front where you order from ! Thankfully I had a epi pen in the car ! But the bowls did look very pretty ‍ read more

THIS PLACE IS TRASHHHHH. I ordered a pacific beach bowl and it was ten dollars they gave me some little ass bowl with a lot of coconut and granola barely any acai and it's sweet as hell. Baya Bar - Acai & Smoothie Shop - Morning stop! - Acai Bowls Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

The service is wonderful and speedy. I love that I can order online and pick up my order from the store.

I want to like this place but the quality is not consistent. Sometimes the smoothies are fresh and smooth and sometimes you'll get something with loads of frozen brown banana chunks, along with other brown chunks of fruit I can't identify. read more

If you need an Acai bowl fix and this is all that's available I guess it's an ok choice. If you can travel to get an Acai bowl, then do that! Overpriced bowls and everything is canned. Overly sweetened and syrupy blueberry and strawberries. 11$ for a small without peanut/almond butter. No thank you! read more

Absolutely disgusting customer service, the man in the front wasn't even wearing a MASK during the ongoing pandemic, I ordered 2 pacific beaches with almond butter I asked for a little more since the last time I ordered it they put one drop. He then told me " I don't know what to tell you, this is how much we put, if you want extra then ask for that, you say this all the time." I've been giving them my hard earned money for years.... NEVER AGAIN. read more

Drinks are all freshly made right in front of you. But there is always a lag in order time due to no one being at the register when you walk in. There should be a staff member dedicated to taking orders. I've turned away several times bc no one was able/ready to take my order. read more

Came here for a juice at 7:30pm on the dot (they close at 8). The cashier told me and another young lady that they weren't selling juices anymore because another worker had already cleaned the equipment to make juices. Now not only did y'all lose 2 customers because of this, it's also false advertising. I was really disappointed. Really wanted the juice. Why advertise 8pm if I can't even get what I want at 7:30 ? read more

Discovered Baya Bar on DoorDash because I really wanted a smoothie that I could customize. Excuse my language but this smoothie is gosh darn delicious!! I couldn't wait to leave a review, I'm still drinking It as i speak (and I'm really trying to savor It but it's hard for me not to down this in 2 seconds!) Happy I found this place! Might have to order a smoothie every day now! I should also add my order came in less than 20 minutes! Very quick service read more

The bowls taste good, the fruits are fresh, and thats their only selling points. It seems like this allows them to skimp their customers when they order smalls, I came back with a bowl they sold me that was obviously not full and they completely stood behind the portion they gave me. It was supposed to be a 12 ounce bowl and I told them to weigh it and they said they don't have a scale??? How do you not have a scale when your establishment sells manually filled portions and you sell said items by the size? I went back home and it weighed it myself it was 9 ounces (weighed in grams and converted) so I got 75% of the advertized portion. The people that looked me in the eye and stood behind that are rude as hell. read more

Baya Bar - Acai & Smoothie Shop - Acai Bowls Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I'm surprised by all of the negative reviews. I think this place is great. Uber Eats tells me I've ordered from here 28 times in the past 4 months. Out of those 28 times, there've been only 2 times when I wasn't totally satisfied, and I got a refund the time I asked for it. I always get a large pitaya bowl and most of the time also get avocado toast. The pitaya bowls taste great - I actually never even knew there was such a food until I first found this place. Baya Bar makes it unnecessary to spend too much time deciding what will be good for my day-off breakfasts. read more

Love this place. Everything is so healthy and fresh . I literally come here all the way from Brooklyn

I ordered a bowl. I added almond butter. I paid for the almond butter. I got home. There was no almond butter on my bowl. Why are businesses in this neighborhood consistently failing? This place has potential but if you can't carry out a simple order request, that's a problem. read more

Horrible customer service as well as Açaí bowels the worst... I gave this place 1 because I couldn't give a 0. I'm not sure why people are giving this place a 5 star! The sad part is I gave this place a second chance after my sibling told me she experienced the worst customer service ever as well!! I don't care how close it is to my house I would rather go to the moon and back before I go here again! read more

The bowl I got wasn't great and one of the female employees wasn't very nice. Don't recommend:(

I would just like to say that I went to this place because I assumed it would have excellent service. I was sadly mistaken. I asked for a Bella Nutella, I specifically said blueberries instead of granola and I would like to add peanut butter. He added the blue berries which I'm glad but the peanut butter was non existent. I mean call it skippy cause it up and left. I spent all my hard earned money and weeks money on this Açaí bowl. 12$ gone to waste. Extra 1$ for PEANUT BUTTER. What a waste George Washington would be shooketh. As a woman of color I will not be treated this way in America! Not in my house! read more
