Grizzly Coffee is a Pakistani cafe in Brooklyn that not only is super cute but also has some great food & coffee. I got the Anday Wala Burger & drip coffee for breakfast. The burger was quite filling & tasty, I would personally just opt for no onions and more cabbage in mine. The drip coffee was great as well. Later on in the day, I visited again to grab a Matcha latte and something sweet per the barista's recommendation I got the Dubai chocolate. I had yet to try it despite all the hype, but now I can understand why the hype exists- you simply don't want to put it down! As for the Matcha latte, however, it was way too sweet for me. I asked the barista, and she said that their Matcha is sweetened, which is not my cup of tea. I asked her if I could swap it with something else and she kindly did so. Again, it is a personal preference, but I like my Matcha unsweetened so that I could actually taste it for what it is. All in all, if I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely visit- the ambience, hospitality, and cafe items are too good for me not to stop by. read more

Very cozy neighborhood cafe. My masala chai was a bit weird and bitter, but likely my own fault for subbing with almond milk and no sugar (added my own later). My husband's gur wali chai, however, was nice. Desi omelette paratha wrap was on the smaller side but still very tasty. Everything came out piping hot which is great in this cold weather. I'd come back to try the other Pakistani food items and drinks. read more

I felt some trepidation after seeing such abominations on the menu as a "roofafza matcha" (#justiceforroofafza). But to be honest this was one of the more solid cups of Kashmiri chai I've had in the city as of late. It was neither too milky nor too watery, and had the right amount of sweetness. The vibe is on par with the other new aesthetic Pakistani fusion cafes in the city, with "Grizzly" inscribed in bright lights in Urdu on the counter, and patterned cushions for seating. read more

My friend and I came here on a Sunday morning, maybe around 11 ish, the place was pretty chill and quiet, just another group there at the time. We ordered the biscoff latte (we asked for it to be less sweet), ras malai tres leches, anday wala burger, and chicken paratha roll. I really enjoyed the biscoff latte, i mean biscoff just taste amazing in anything. We also enjoyed the flavors of the burger and the paratha roll, just wished the paratha roll was bigger. Stopped in on a Friday afternoon after reading the tiramisu latte reviews. The coffee shop itself is cute, brightly lit and adorned with lovely Pakistani art. I ordered a tiramisu latte iced, pistachio creme latte hot (less sweet) and some samosas. The pistachio creme latte was amazing, would definitely order again. The tiramisu latte reminded me more of a mocha with a cold foam topping and heavy espresso flavor. The Samosas were a bit well done and I'm glad I asked for the chutney (it's given only on request) to cool it off as they were fresh out of the fryer. We liked the samosas so I went back to get another order, and ended up ordering a chicken paratha roll and Karak chai as well. The chicken roll was very greasy and the filling over salted basically rendering it inedible. The chai had a nice color and decent flavor. Will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. read more

This café has been on my radar for a few weeks now, so exciting to have a warm and welcoming space in the heart of little Pakistan. From the outside this place is pretty unassuming, but once you step inside, the layout is roomy and cozy. My friends and I were pretty full from breakfast earlier so we didn't get to try any of their desserts which looked really tempting and amazing in the glass case. I ordered a small iced Matcha with almond milk. Staff was pretty friendly, kind and accommodating. They also had other Halal goodies like Halal, Gummies, salaam, cola, and other stuff. We noticed a carrom board tucked away in the corner and transported it out. It's been years since I've played back in Pakistan. It was honestly so much fun to be here with my friends. I love that they had other games available as well. I think they should add Jenga and Ludo to their collection. It was so nice to just sit here and be in a warm space with other patrons from the community. We definitely need more spaces like this in this neighborhood. My Matcha was well made although I will say it was more on the milkier side. I don't like matcha lattes that have too much milk and not enough Matcha powder. I think the latte could be made a lot stronger, I wouldn't mind if the portion was smaller. The small was a pretty big size. I look forward to returning here and trying their desserts. If you live in this area, definitely stop by for a warm pick me up. read more

Horrible service. I went in on Saturday April 11 at 1:30pm and placed an order for a large Masala Tea which was $6 and some change which is a lot for just tea, grizzly or not., The place was dead, no one was inside but after 5 minutes I didn't see the baristas doing anything, I asked the young lady that I placed my order to to see if the tea is still coming and she said it was but after another 5 minutes, it was crickets. The baristas were busy on their phone. I just left at that point. @Grizzly... You owe me $6.24. I do not recommend. read more

I want to love this place - I really do. But I just don't. Their Kashmiri Chai is some of the worst i've ever had. Grizzly Banger sandwich had next to nothing on it, it's almost like they're trying to skimp on the food. Weird tactics for a pakistani place. Pastries were ok... Pretty mid. I will say, the brown sugar shaken espresso was really good. if the service wasn't so bad (will get into that too) i'd definitely go back and get it again. The girl(s) at the register were lowkey rude and just stare at you, waiting for you to talk - as in they were just looking at me like "what tf do you want?" ... Giving mean girl vibes :( I felt embarrassed to order for some reason ? lmao. I'm sad because this place is close to my house and the inside is SO CUTE. The art is epic! So yes I want to love it, but I wouldn't recommend this place :( They should take notes from Khyber in New Brunswick - now that's a good pakistani cafe!!! read more

I live a block away and order from here like everyday. I love all their drinks, but the chai, brown sugar shaken espresso and matcha latte are the best! Their food items like the anday wala burger and samosas are amazing as well. This place really makes me miss Pakistan. I don't even know where to start because I don't like leaving reviews but this one I had to do it. The food tastes has no flavor at all, my one order of coffee took at least 15 minutes to make even though I've ordered as a pickup, it wasn't even mixed properly. They couldn't even tell me the ingredients that were put into chai. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Two of the baristas were talking to each other the entire time really loud it was ridiculous. I will not be going there again. read more

Save your money. It's been this weird reoccurring thing where when you order food in NYC and you don't get what you paid for/what was advertised. I got a big ass cup of espresso that doesn't taste like pistachio at all even though I was shown this beautiful green latte in the picture of it on Uber eats. Also got a scorched earth version of a bacon eggs and cheese with a protein I didn't request (if you dont serve pork you need to state that and refrain from burning tf out of the turkey bacon). This is one of the worst experiences I've had ordering food and maybe it's off the heels of other establishments over promising and generally lying about what will be delivered to you, but this place did it all the same. Shit like this makes me realize I need to go get my food in person as the quality just seems to be better when businesses have to look you in the eyes. I'm only giving one star because at least I got some caffeine, albeit it's like drinking a cup of cold coffee mud. read more

This worker had came up to us saying how we can't stay in here if we can't buy anything which we were decided what we wanted and talking and the she can up to us and yelled at my autistic non verbal brother when i was the attending adult with him and had no right to do that.
