    Shrimp Lollipops

Prince Tea House is ALWAYS aesthetically pleasing. So pretty on the inside and the backyard is even better. The staff is always sweet and welcoming. I tried the shrimp lollipops this time and they were so nice and crunchy. They were fried just right. It comes with a side of tartar sauce. I absolutely loved this and would get them again. The chicken salad was pretty tasty. I loved how the chicken was seasoned. The salad is a nice size with a nice helping of veggies. Definitely enjoy visiting here :)

The back area is well lit and adorably decorated with floral touches. We visit frequently after dinner in the area since it closes at midnight. 5/5 The Trio (Matcha Financiers, Goma Creme Brulee, Pate Choux) -- We were so impressed by this platter, the variety and flavors were great, and the pastries were done well! 4/5 Purple Sweet Potato Mille Crepe Cake 4/5 Strawberry Cheesecake 4/5 Rose Milk Tea -- we wished this had a stronger tea flavor. It was a nice touch for the candle to keep our tea warm for the evening.

Prince Tea House... always the excellent vibe of the environment. Food is always the same not much to say there. I would usually give Prince Tea House a 4 or 5 star but this visit I had recently was very disturbing. We had order food and been there for maybe an hour or so and we were waiting to order dessert too. While being the only ones there the waiters were turning on and off the music and just standing there behind our table. Making it seem like they were listening into our conversation. It was really disturbing and they kept side eyeing us. Made us rush to eat and want to leave. Not only all of that when I asked for the check I noticed that the 18% tip turned into a forced tip as in gratuity. That was really shocking to see because I have never seen a restaurant do that unless we were coming in as a group of 4/5 or more. Sincerely disappointed in this location.

Sad to be writing this review because I truly love Prince Tea House (in any location) and always like coming here because of their tea and food. Today however was not that day. I understand that large party gratuity is mandatory nowadays to help struggling hospitality workers, but lets be real... that was made for times that restaurants are busy and cannot attend to each table they have. We came at 3pm when there was only one table that were already finishing their meal. How is it that we had to ask our server for our water 15 minutes after we had our order in, we had to ask for our tea that was not brought to us even when the food had already came in and there were barely any service done to us. To expect an 18% tip when there was no service at an empty restaurant is outrageous. If you expect us to tip you automatically, we also expect 18% of that service. I dont care if you dont engage in a friendly banter or ask us how we are, not looking for a conversation but at least give us decent service. 86 st has other nice tea houses around, might be better to give your 18% to those places instead of here. Sad to not come back to this location because of this experience...

Had an amazing experience at this prince tea house so cute. I had a wonderful fresh salad with avocado and smoked salmon with ranch dressing yummy. I had an awesome pot of white tea with a fruity flavor that accented tea perfectly with lovely aroma. Highly recommend this establishment.

My friend and I needed to share some tea after an exhausting New Year. So, after some Omakase we went to get a nice sweet dessert! Food: 3.5/5 I ordered the chicken and waffle and my friend the Fruit toast. Candidly, my chicken (super dry) was just diced up crispy chicken patty (the same they use for their katsu sandwich) on a waffle. No salad either, not getting again. My friend's toast though was delectable! I made sure to eat all of the fresh banana while helping her clear her plate. Of course, we got tea! She got the rose milk and I got the Pu'er. Thet were both great, but I definitely favorited my choice. Service: 4/5 I have gone to many Prince Tea locations in NY, but this is the first time I have seen one with an enclosed back extension (see my pic). Per the typical method, I scanned the QR code to view the menu and could actually place our order on the site. The staff was swift to seat us, serve us, and were very responsive to my request for the check. All in all, if I am around the area, I will go back. But, since I am in the Bronx, I think the Queens locations will be my best choice.

Southwest Santa Fe Chicken Roll with Homemade Gucamole and Octopus Takoyaki

Food is brought out at record speed. Everything is fresh and flavorful. Small bites that are perfect to sample different flavors and textures without leaving stuffed. Southwest Santa Fe Chicken Roll with Homemade Gucamole was a bit of a letdown--there was no chicken, just beans and corn inside. Although the crunchy shell was perfectly fried, light and not greasy. Octopus Takoyaki was delicious--the squid was the flavorful and the crunchy breading easily fell apart. Matcha crepe cake is not sweet, so it perfect for those who want desert without the sugar overload. It's so delicate and light, it's a true indulgence worth the $10. Teas as delicious--there is no wrong option! Try them all. Staff are laconic and efficient. The last seating is at 10:05 pm, and they ask customers to leave at 11pm, at closing time, sharp. Pretty interior, which will provide a cozy vibe for any kind of occasion.

Our college friend came to town and wanted some tea time to catch up. We ordered a few desserts and a pot of tea to chat. My husband and I didn't eat lunch yet so we also ordered sandwiches. Turned out our college friend visited her in laws and had lunch there but still came for tea time and wasn't too hungry for pastries. We ate most of it tho. The tea sets and pastries were beautiful. The decors are always beautiful with the fairy light. We ordered on our phone with their internal system (scan QR code to menu) and servers come quickly with our meal. They didn't rush us but also didn't let us linger more than necessary since they are busy.

Came here in Christmas to get some cheap tasty dessert. This is a nice cute spot for a date or just to hang with friends for sure. Staff and service was quick and attentive and the desserts were pretty tasty with simply no complaints. Cute spot :)

I had a meeting in Brooklyn yesterday & wanted drink some tea & googled it. That's what came up near me. So upon entering it looked beautiful! The server was nice. I was tired after a long day, so just wanna chill. Sat down order a iced bubble tea. It was ok. I asked the lady if I can seat inside, she said it's full. And will let me know when it's open up. So I decided I will order food later when I go inside. In the meantime I walked around, take pictures, made some tiktok, used the restroom. It was clean & nice. And went in the back to see if any seats were empty & my surprise there were plenty of seats . And the whole place was all together pretty empty too. I stayed there for more then an hour, I saw 2 couples came by without reservations & they asked if they can seat inside & if they neeed reservations? She said no no we had space ! Wth... I have no idea if it's a racist thing or just because I didn't order that much expensive stuff I wasn't important enough to seat inside ! Btw inside isn't that cool anyways So I asked her again & she said no! Her facial expressions, body language everything was different‍ She actually works there I think 3 years, I saw she had some regular customers! She was extra nice & helpful with them. And I just left, after a nice day this just ruined everything! Never coming back again for sure.

Drinks 2.0 Food 3.5 Service 3.5 It's been almost a year since our visit. The place is incredibly relaxing for a Friday night. The service was good. We indulged in some of our all-time favorites: octopus Takoyaki, green tea mille crepe, iced jasmine green tea, and iced rose milk tea. The six octopus Takoyaki were flavorful. The green tea Mille crepe was just alright--you can taste a very small hint of green tea in each layer, but we would prefer it to have a stronger flavor. Unfortunately, the drinks were disappointing. We had to return the iced rose milk tea; both drinks tasted quite watered down. We would consider revisiting Prince Tea House, given its ambiance and table service.

This restaurant is a great place for meeting up with friends. I met up with my friend who I have known for 15-plus years. The foods were delicious and the service was top-notch. The waiters were attentive when we asked how long was the wait. Moreover, they said "happy new year" while we were leaving.

The mango is a standout, and the brownies are honestly next-level--warm, decadent, and just a step away from a perfect lava cake. They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. The shop itself is spotless--seriously clean, top to bottom--and there's even a cozy outdoor seating area where you can sit and enjoy your coffee or dessert. Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

Overall, I'd give the experience a 4/5 for the service, atmosphere, views, and overall vibe. If I were rating the food alone, though, I'd say it was good, but not quite mind-blowing. I also have a strong feeling there's probably a noticeable difference between lunch and dinner service, although I can't say for sure. We went with the prix fixe menu. The salatim, hummus, and pita are unlimited, which is a great deal. The hummus was excellent--smooth, flavorful, and easily one of my favorite parts of the meal. The pita was fresh, warm, and constantly replenished. Among the salatim, I especially enjoyed the fennel and cabbage salad and the cucumber salad. The olive-cornichon mix and the pickled vegetables were good, but didn't stand out as much. For mains, the spicy lamb kofta was very good--well-seasoned, juicy, and served with a generous portion of tahini that was way more than needed. They also bring a small bowl of buttery cilantro rice for the table, which is a thoughtful touch, although honestly the unlimited pita was more than enough. The one disappointment was the brisket dog. We ordered it expecting something special, but it was surprisingly dry. The challah bun completely overwhelmed the sausage, and the cabbage topping plus crispy fried onions didn't add any moisture. The accompanying sauce was tahini-based, so it leaned dry as well instead of balancing everything out. On the bright side, it came with incredibly crispy fries and a delicious house ketchup that tasted much better than a standard bottled ketchup. Dessert was the soft serve, which was perfectly fine but nothing particularly memorable. For drinks, the mango cocktail with chili and lime was refreshing and hard to dislike. I also tried the fig arak drink. It was good and exciting to try, but I realized I'm just not much of a star anise person, so it wasn't really my style. The standout of the night was the restaurant's namesake cocktail, something wolf. Even though it's made with arak, I barely noticed it. The rum, passion fruit, and tropical flavors came together beautifully, making it taste like something you'd happily sip on a beach. Easily my favorite thing I drank that evening. Overall, given so many great restaurants in Brooklyn I might not come back to this but will say that it would be amazing to do a big group meal here - especially with the gorgeous views. Aesthetics on point for sure :)

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal.
