It's a little inconvenient for those of us who don't work right in those office buildings as you have to use the parking garage, but it's not bad and they always validate parking if you ask for it! Their avocado toast is pricey but it's delicious and even though I'm not a huge cold brew person I really liked their cold brew with white chocolate and strawberry back in February. It is not located in your normal- "off the street location" and cannot be visable if your driving by on Main Street. It's a nice jem located on the first floor below the Towering Coprorate buildings. View is a stunning Moderen Urban Experience and there are ample areas for you to sit and relax while having a Metropolitan/Executive break or working on your laptop. I love the interior! Especially the circular light on the window. Now on to the coffee. I had an oat latte which was great! It was a clean to the point taste without a bunch of sugar, which I enjoyed. My husband got a black tea which he enjoyed. A hidden gem in Irvine. Tucked away in the Irvine Business Complex is this great coffee shop. The coffee options are diverse and tasty (personal favorite: Lavender Skies). Food is also great too. The breakfast burrito was a good-sized portion that was toasted well on both sides. It can easily be shared with someone. The inside is modern and clean. There's not as much seating indoors so it does get packed quickly. However, there's plenty of seating outdoors with a beautiful ambiance. I went in to have some coffee today because I usually really enjoy this place! unfortunately, I was not very satisfied this time because I simply asked for less ice and was told that I would get the same size I usually get. When I got my coffee it was much smaller than usual and was put in a water cup! I asked about it and was told by the person who made it that it's because "I asked for light ice". I am very understanding but I received much less coffee and finished it in two sips. I also tipped like I always do and was not accommodated for my experience. I can't say enough good things about KIT! My boyfriend and I got the Horchata Matcha and the dark chocolate mocha the first time we went- amazing. The breakfast burritos though... Bomb!! I ordered the Iced Lavender Fields which is matcha with lavender blueberry milk, and WOW I was impressed. I came here to try the strawberry matcha that people recommended me, it's actually called thank you berry matcha so I was surprised at first. The matcha is strong and bitter and the strawberry oat milk reminded me of strawberry nesquik but with oat milk flavor. Mixed, the matcha flavor fades out to be not bitter and balances with the strawberry milk. My parents liked it and said it was good, personally I like mine a little stronger on the matcha so I thought it was just ok. But also I feel like my tastebuds get matcha immune in general when I drink matcha maybe cuz then I just taste sweet milk usually. My mom thought it was sweet, I thought it wasn't too sweet. Also the line seemed long and out the door but come to find it was because the line capacity is like 5 people in a row before you hit the door lol. The parking machines and validation rules are a huge turn off. I went to 2 businesses in the complex and got 2 validation tickets with enough time remaining. Still ended up having to pay $6 to leave. The coffee shop itself is in a beautiful location and has a cute interior. The baristas were friendly and my mocha latte was great. However, the parking attendants for the parking garage made my first time at Kit an experience that makes me not want to come back because of how complicated the parking validation system is and even more so how rude the parking attendants were to me. I got my parking ticket validated at Kit for 2 hours and was there for exactly 2 hours. When I tried to leave the parking garage, I followed the prompts that the parking machine gave me, yet it was not scanning my validation. I could see that other cars at a different exit were getting out just fine, so I called the 'help' button and a young man who spoke to me was extremely condescending, making me feel "dumb" for not being able to get out of the garage when it was really their system's malfunction. I had to put on my hazards and reverse from that exit to try a different exit, as per his suggestion (which he said with a rude tone). I try the other exit and the same thing happens--the machine is not scanning my ticket. I call the 'help' button again, and this time an older woman answers. I explain to her the situation and she asks me where I got my ticket validated. I told her I got it validated at Kit Coffee, and she has the audacity to tell me that she's never heard of Kit Coffee and that it doesn't exist in their system. I told her that I got my parking validated at Kit! She then asks me to hold while she gets her manager. A few minutes later, she hops back on the call and says, "Oh, there actually is a Kit Coffee, so we'll just let you out." That's what I was saying the whole time!!! Kit, please address this issue with your parking system and make sure those parking attendants actually know that a Kit Coffee exists and are actually kind human beings. Thank you. read more

Went their after work to grab a matcha for my fiancée and the place is so sweet and helpful. I ordered a matcha with oat milk and strawberries and they informed me on an item on the menu called thank you berry much which is the same thing for less. I came down to the Irvine location for the first time and love it even more than the Newport location. It's sort of hidden surrounded by corporate buildings but there's lots of seating and shade outside the cafe by fountains so it creates a really nice atmosphere. As for the cafe itself, the service was really friendly and helpful and I would definitely come back just because of the workers.
