We found this gem when we went to 123 Farm Lavender Festival last Saturday. On the way, we saw this Resto named, "Kasama Resto" . We came around past 6pm with a group of friends(9 of us), and even though they will be closing at 8pm, they still accommodated us. We ordered Fried Chicken Sinigang, Chopsuey Vegetables, Fried Tofu Sizzling Sisig, Pork Sizzling Sisig, Chicken Katsu Kate-Kare, Chicken Lettuce Wrap and Garlic Fried Rice. Chef Kath even went out to talk to us about their Filipino specialty with a twist and they serve Chinese food as well. All these food we ordered are indeed has some twist, and all these food are so good and delish. Our server is friendly, and accommodating, as well as Chef Kath. Kat (co-owner and co-head chef)once again greeted us and personally discussed the menu. Lilly provided excellent and courteous service(and entertainment, as she sang along with the music, displaying a vocal talent that could easily be appreciated by a venue with 60,000 people, she is just amazing). We took our time and enjoyed two tantalizing appetizers. My wife loves their Pancit Bijon and I really enjoyed the orange chicken with complimentary steamed rice. The portions are so generous we know we will have 2-3 meals from them. Every time we come here we appreciate the personalized service, the sheer joy flowing from the staff who work here, and the amazing and authentic fusion cuisine. Husband and I went in on a Wednesday night around 6:30pm and we were originally the only ones in the restaurant. My husband wanted to dine in since we hadn't seen the new menu. The woman who waited on us was really sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. Another family came in after us, as well as some drunk dude who thankfully was escorted out by the police, but overall the food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the service was really top notch for a place that is re-branding. Some notes- they didn't seem to have a fountain drink station, but were selling sodas in cans. They offered us soy sauce, chili sauce, sweet garlic chili sauce (amazing with the cheese wantons), and everything came in little individual bowls. What we ordered- we both got the combination plate- on the menu it says it's for lunch but we were told we could do it for dinner as well. My husband got orange chicken, beef and broccoli, fried rice/lo-mein. I got orange chicken, king pao, Filipino garlic rice/lo-me in. Also, hubs wanted cream cheese wantons and truly everything we ate, I'd get again NO QUESTION. The beef and broccoli was some of the best I've had. The garlic rice, I didn't know what to expect- I'll never go back. That was such a delicious combination of flavors and I added some sweet& sour sauce with a little chili to some bites- chefs kiss! Really enjoyed the service and food coming to this Filipino Chinese fusion restaurant with my cousin and friend for an early morning breakfast on Valentine's Day. We don't have many fusion spots in the area so this place definitely hit the spot, I got the sisig burrito which was very bomb and savory just a little too spicy due to green chilies so I'd remove them next time. Another thing to add is that they have a cute boba bar with coffees to complement your breakfast, really digging the tiramisu coffee. I think it's also cool that both chefs are the owners and add both their cultures into their menus. I'm curious to see what else they may add in the future,also looking forward for their turon French toast to be added soon! read more

First time eating at this local spot and first impressions blew us out of the water. Customer service was excellent and food was just as good. So good my one year old was silently eating away at his plate, now that's a first. We ordered Mongolian chicken, Beijing beef, lumpia, house noodles, and the most interestingly delicious garlic wings that are still on my mind hours later. Amazing Filipino Asian fusion! Loved the crispy pork belly sisig for our starter followed by crispy noodle pansit palabok & chicken katsu karekare for our main dish. Food tastes like Chinese take out :/ why change the whole restaurant if you're going to serve the same quality food as you were making before. Only difference is you're paying more. It was discouraging. Service was very slow. I had to get my own menus because they never came so I just assumed. Then I went up to the counter to order after no one greeted me for about 10 mins or so but was told someone will take my order at the table. Once the food was brought to the table I wasn't given napkins or utensils so I sat for awhile waiting for the server to come back. I really wanted to try something new so I came to check this place out seems to be a new place in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly seem to have very good. Customer service skills treated us nice. I ordered pancit and shrimp. I really like the shrimp and had a really good flavors. The pancit was just ordinary to me. Nothing special about it. I also got lumpia and that too was just ok. I spent $50 on this meal so it's not very budget friendly. I thought from the prices that they'll give us sizable portions, but it just fed me and my girlfriend. I think it's a little bit overpriced for what it is. read more

So the family and I decided to try out Kasama tonight for dinner... unfortunately it wasn't what we were expecting. I am part Filipino and grew up eating Filipino food. I understand this is a fusion restaurant however the food was not good. The chicken adobo came in a broth like liquid very soupy like. I'm not used to adobo being served with so much juice and lacking so much flavor. It didn't taste like adobo. We also ordered the pancit palabok... that tasted like Suka.. the only saving grace was the garlic rice. The food wasn't the only unenjoyable part of this evening, it was the service. You are given a pitcher of water and small cups to serve yourself, which is no issue. I had to repeatedly ask the pitcher be refilled. Nothing was cooked in a timely manner. We were given 2 out of our 5 dishes first then waited another 20 mins for 1 other dish to come out and so on. Overall was just so unenjoyable and don't plan to come back. It sucks because the only 2 Filipino restaurants out here are not good. Kasama is overpriced, lacks quality and taste in its food and has poor service. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience, extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, very clean place, unbelievably good food. Got the tofu sisiq and egg foo young, both were to die for. The tofu sisiq came sizzling on the plate still, perfectly cooked tofu, so delicious. The egg foo young was unlike most others i've had, super crispy, full of flavor. Just, wonderful. We visited during their grand opening, went to see Bohemian Busker and stayed for the food! Every table had amazing eats on it and made us even more excited for our orders. First thing I noticed about this place was the emptiness, but the biggest red flag was that the OWNERS were changing their baby's diaper on a table where people eat. The server was nice and I ordered what she recommended, which was 10 pcs wings, ($21 by the way) and it was terrible. The wings tasted like soap and it made me feel sick. My partner ordered beef tapa fries and they also tasted like soap. The Oaxaca cheese on them was not good cheese. It tasted sour and expired. Only good food we had was the lumpia. The restaurant is base on Filipino companionship and photos are nice but I am somewhat confused about the what it represents.
