Yu Choy Sum, Traditional Rice Porridge, Cilantro Rice Roll all so good!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and eclectic interior with the kitties and cartoon baos all around.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by staff. Micah our server was patient and friendly! The dim sum was spot on in flavor and all was handmade with high quality ingredients. It was definitely comfort food for me. Get Some Dim Sum is all thumbs up and worth the drive!

We are on a mission to find the best dim sum in the IE. We came down on a Sunday to try out this place that had over 4 stars. We were greeted right away and were seated. They gave us the menu and a piece of paper to place our order. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was very clean and it's small.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was okay. The food came out pretty quickly. I grew up eating dim sum, so I am very picky when eating dim sum. The portion sizes are good and the flavor is there. The food did taste fresh but some items were not up to par. The Siu Mai was not my favorite cause the pork filling was too dense and didn't have any flavor. The Har Gau (shrimp dumpling) had a huge shrimp. I just wished the dough was a better quality. The Shrimp Rice Roll was also not one of my favorites as the rice noodles were too thin. The Sticky Rice was really flavorful and yummy. The Garlic Spare Ribs with Taro was tasty but it usually has black beans in it for more flavor. The BBQ pork bun had great flavor and the dough was perfect. The Egg Tart was cooked to perfection but lacked flavor. Overall, the food was okay, but not on my top choice. If I was in the area and was craving dim sum, then I would come back.

Omg this place is amazing. I came in by myself on a weekday and was seated very fast. My waitress Mckenzie was super sweet and explained how the menu worked and gave me fast service. I appreciated that there were images of all the menu items which made it easier for me to decide what I wanted. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside of the restaurant is very clean and modern.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also appreciated how spotless the restroom was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I absolutely loved the #1 Crystal Shrimp Dumplings and the #15 Shrimp Rice Rolls. I highly recommended ordering both if you love shrimp. I also ordered the BBQ Pork Buns which were also delicious. One thing that you can really taste here is the freshness and quality of the food. Given the quality, you definitely get a lot for your money. I'll definitely be returning.

I was in the town for a wedding. The next day. I was craving dim sum and was checking out Yelp. This place seemed rated pretty high, so I decided to drop by for a bite. I ordered the rice world with shrimp and a bowl of wonton and noodles. The noodles were a bit overcooked but the wonton was fantastic. The rice noodle with shrimp was pretty good too. I appreciated the price. It was comparable to other places. If not better. I do recommend this place and I do plan to come back if I am in town. And the service was nice. My server was very nice and appropriately talkative. She took good care of me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was decently busy when I arrived. I was grateful of that. I was able to get small booth for me and my baby. It fit two people comfortably.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambience was good; no complaints.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

5 Star rating this first outing for me. The food was perfectly cooked to order. The flavor profiles of each item was spot on. The amount of food and the size of each individual piece of shu mai was larger than I expected with comparison to Downtown Los Angeles' Chinatown restaurants. The steamed pork bun was comparable in size and flavor, which was very good and perfectly steamed. The service is top notch. I never had to ask for anything I might have needed. All food ordered was brought out individually and in a very timely manner. All condiments such as chili oil and soy sauce were all within reach on the table. I ordered a Pepsi as my beverage and the 12 oz. can and cup of ice was also promptly brought out to me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The overall feel of the restaurant is relaxed, clean, organized, with very supportive and comfortable bench seating at the table I was sitting at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In summary, the fresh and hot food, ambiance, and excellent service made for an exceptional dining experience that will make me recommend and return in the future.

Quick, delicious, amazing service! You are literally in and out. I come here before 12pm and there is no wait. Everything is good! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is pleasant and service is quick![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Get sum dim sum will always be the place to go for dim sum if you don't want to drive to Rowland Heights or Monterey park. That said today there were some problems. We came on Tuesday afternoon around 3pm. It wasn't busy but we are a party of 6. There was only one waitress. She was sweet. We've had her before but attentiveness was lacking. Water was not refilled. 2/5 Egg tart was overcooked today. It did have the flaky layers and the custard was good. 5/5 Baked bbq bun. Yum! The outside was crispy good! The inside has a good amount of bbq pork. Loved this. 5/5 Steam bbq bun were soft and fluffy. Bbq inside was good. 5/5 Seaweed roll. I could've eaten these non stop. I've never had fried seaweed before . It was so good. Piping hot too! 1/5 no one at the table cared for the Garlic taro beef ribs! I asked where's the beef? It was mostly bones. The taro didn't work with this dish. Will not get again 2/5 something was off with the sesame balls today. It seemed the sesame seeds were embedded in the dough. 4/5 Custard buns were named lava custard bun for a reason. Unfortunately, I did not heed anyone's warning and broke into the bun without caution. The lava squirted out and landed all over my dress. 3/5 Crystal shrimp dumplings were dry on the outside today. It was too chewy for me.

I was a bit skeptic about coming here, but my cousins and I needed a place for a quick bite before a bigger dinner reservation later. Dumplings seemed like the way to go. First - [[HIGHLIGHT]]Loved how they were playing 90s/2000s Hip Hop and R&B inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was pretty decent, we had slight trouble since we all had to pay using 3 cards. I understand this can be a pain sometimes, but it did take longer than expected. Our party of 5 was also given 4 forks and 3 chopsticks (yes, 3) and we were very confused. However, food was honestly better than expected! My cousins enjoyed their dumplings, and I enjoyed my shrimp and pork wonton soup. Typically dim sum places are only open early in the day, so it was cool to come here around 5 or 6pm. My cousins were talking about how they'd be here all the time for a late night bite if they had it in their country!

Surprisingly alright dim sum despite being in the Inland Empire. The menu is expansive and the selection is pretty decent. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Flavors were good, overall a chill lil vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Just kinda pricey in my opinion.

This place is a great option to get simple dim sum place. We were greeted and seated by the booth right away. Every meal served steamy hot. The Siu Mai has cunky shrimp while bean curd has some mixed filling, porridge texture smooth and has strong taste of ginger so the fish doesn't smell. Pork Rib is my less favorite unfortunately. Meat was not that tender. Service overall quite attentive, the staffs keep checking on and ensure we are good. The decor itself is kinda mixed with millenial / Gen Z as there are sone figurine and character on the desk & wall.

We're in the area and searched for the best dimsum. High rated and open at the time. Came in to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Not the typical dimsum place with carts. The staff are nice and welcoming. You mark the ones you want from the menu. Fast service. Everything we ordered are tasty, not salty and greasy. Huge servings. We'll come back if we're in the area. It's worth the drive. Plenty of parking.

Amazing service & delicious selections of dim sum! Easy individual paper menus. Mark off on the paper menu the amount of each item. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside booth seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The porridge was one of my faves with the fresh fry bread. I'd go here any day for that. Shrimp leek dumplings, Shrimp pork wonton soup and Ham sui gok came out in a timely manner all were so delicious. Had to add that spice provided on tables. Perfect! Shares the same parking lot as the chocolate bar.

Intoxicating, mouth watering aromas from the kitchen, I am impatient and cannot wait for the dishes to arrive at my table. This is my fifth time coming here alone and with friends. I've never had an issue with the wait or the service. Everything is tip notch and I just absolutely love this restaurant. Today I ordered, the green beans and it's simply the best I've ever had. Just the right amount of salt and garlic, and what a crunch. The hot and sour soup, authentic and better than Chinatown. It's salty, spicy, vinegary, bamboo shoots was crushy too. The roasted duck was spectacular, crunchy skin and flavorful meat. Perfect seasoning. The orange chicken is a must. Crunchy and so so tasty. Every chicken pieces were crunchy and no bad pieces in this batch. This is not your panda Express orange chicken or Panda Inn, this is your Mr Chows Beverly hills orange chicken. The quality is un-matched. I don't know what these noodles are but they are crunch and delicious. I am so satisfied, and I also love the prices too, very good for this quality. I'm getting such a great deal.

He kept forgetting some of our dishes. He took a long time to get his refills. That's one thing that does bother me we're paying and tipping for Service and it should be done with the upmost care and consideration we ordered the packing duck the Mushu, which was suggested by the waiter, which was very delicious and the beef with the mushrooms Beef with the mushrooms was seasoned and flavored so deliciously texturally with the variety of different mushrooms that were in this dish was such a delight to eat The Peking duck is always one of my favorite the skin is extra crispy than meat is very moist. It comes with a nice light sweet-and-sour and then a darker duck sauce to pair with fluffy soft boas And the appetizer the mushu was a very delicious that came with like a Wong tortillas to pair with it and it was a very good recommend 10/10 But like I said, give it a try and you decide

The shrimp tacos had bay shrimp with the same seasoning. Around us were many groups have seafood boils which is sold by the pound. The savory smells of boil could be enjoyed all through the place. Our server was a nice young man who came by our table often to ask if all was well and consistently filling our water glasses.

AMBIANCE 5.5/10…read more After spending way too long trying to decide what to eat, we finally settled on seafood boil and landed on The Big Catch because of their all-you-can-eat option. Walking in, our first impression wasn't great the building looked a little run down. Once inside, though, the vibe improved. It had a rustic sports bar feel with TVs everywhere, an open bar, and a seafood station. Nothing fancy, but not terrible. EXPERIENCE 7/10 The service was one of the better parts of the visit. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and took the time to answer our questions and recommend a few items. The food took a little while to come out. BTW there's a 90 minute limit after we were seated and the second round of our seafood took 30 minutes to come out (they apparently forgot our order) and they proceeded to tell us we had last call right after our second round of food barely got to the table. Not sure if that's done on purpose but we really didn't really appreciate that. Overall though, the staff definitely made the experience better. THE FOOD 5/10 Here's where things started to fall apart. The first all-you-can-eat platter came with two snow crab clusters, 1/2lb crawfish, 1/2lb mussels, 1/2lb peeled shrimp, plus unlimited sides. One thing that caught us off guard and maybe we just missed it on the menu is that after your first round, you can no longer order the snow crab or peeled shrimp. That was disappointing since those ended up being the best seafood options on the table. The snow crab was solid, and the peeled shrimp were surprisingly good the texture was crunchy and we didn't get any fishy smell or flavors. Everything after that... not so much. Round two included whole shrimp, clams, and scallops. The portions were noticeably smaller, and almost everything tasted like it had been frozen for too long. The crawfish lacked freshness, the whole shrimp had the same issue and were mushy without the initial crunch additionally the shrimp was hard to peel which makes us think that it was POSSIBLY reheated, and the scallops were tiny with a strong fishy flavor that made them hard to enjoy. Even the House/Cajun seasoning didn't do much to save it. It was too oily and honestly just tasted like salt, there was no spiciness either and we got the hot flavor. Ironically, the sides ended up carrying the meal. The cucumber salad was fresh and crunchy, which balanced out some of the heavier seafood, and the sweet potato fries were honestly one of our favorite things we ordered. And one last thing... somehow even the water tasted off. What We'd Order Again Snow Crab Clusters Peeled Shrimp Fish Taco Sweet Potato Fries Cucumber Salad Sausage Corn Skip These Whole Shrimp Clams Mussels Scallops Crawfish House/Cajun Seasoning Cajun Fries Cajun Wings Boiled Egg Water Final Rating If you're going for the all-you-can-eat seafood, don't expect premium quality. The first round is decent, but once the crab and peeled shrimp are off the table, the meal drops off pretty quickly. Would we come back? Definitely not. We ended up paying 90$ for 2 people which you can argue is good since it's an AYCE seafood meal but afterwards after speaking to the waiter we found out the shrimp and crawfish was indeed frozen that along with all the other disappointing food doesn't make us feel like it was worth the money. Overall Gassington Rating: (5/10)
