Garlic Butter Shrimp Noodle, pork XLB, spicy wontons
    Tiffany L.

Came on a Saturday around 6pm, a party of two, and waited about 30 minutes to be seated. The dining area is small, so I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group. We ordered the pork XLB, spicy wontons, and the garlic butter shrimp noodles -- all affordable and very filling for the two of us. The food was solid, and I really liked the garlic butter shrimp noodles! I'd definitely come back to try the other dishes.

Great-tasting food! My daughter and I came back to Seven Grains for our mother&daughter date night, craving their dumplings and noodles again, and they were still as delicious as we remembered. We decided to try a new menu item, the fried lotus root, and it was absolutely amazing: fresh, light, and very flavorful. We also ordered the dumplings, which were incredibly light and fluffy. For dinner, we had the Spicy Golden Beef Soup (a bit too spicy for me!), while my daughter chose the Beef Tomato Soup, which she loved. For dessert, we tried the taro and sweet potato dumplings, they weren't my favorite, but it was nice to try something different. Overall, just like before, the food was delicious, and the service was great. We will definitely be back for more! Review done February 2026

Seven Grams has a selection of popular Chinese cuisines. It's a small establishment located by the JCPenneys in Victoria Garden. It's bright, tight, and has pretty quick service. I would not come here if I'm part of a big group as space is limited. I came on a Sunday evening and the wait was around 20 minutes. We ordered the cucumber salad, crab XLB, beef roll, and noodle with scallion oil sauce. The cucumber salad lacked flavor and crunch in my opinion and I didn't care too much for it. The crab XLB was also decent but I think next time I'll try the pork one. The beef roll was warm and crispy on the outside yet contents in the inside were slightly cold (not even room temp) but overall still very delicious. My favorite was hands down the noodle with scallion oil sauce. For something so plain, when mixed with provided chili oil, it was delicious and easily my favorite dish from here.

I was baffled when i found out i haven't reviewed this place! I've been coming to Seven grams for a solid 2-3 years? Maybe longer idk. Seven grams is honestly one of the best dumpling spots in the IE. Yes i said it, sue me. The location is small but honestly it's rarely packed because people still haven't discovered this GEM! The staff is very nice and they're pretty attentive. My favorite thing is the food is always out quick so you're never waiting for longer than 10 minutes to get some sort of food in front of you. They usually always bring out the appetizers first and then the dumplings. Where do i start with the food, if i had to pick a favorite at gun point I'd prob be shot up because i could not decide! My must gets are essentially everything in the pics i posted lol. Appetizers: cucumber salad (like is this even a debate???) and woodear mushrooms (if you don't like mushrooms or like rubbery tasting stuff it's not for you. If you're not picky give it a try!) they newly introduced the chicken katsu i wanna say maybe end of last year? It's bomb. We get it every single time we come and it travels well for take out (that's another paragraph on its own). I always get the scallion noodles if I'm eating there but honestly they don't travel great because it's noodles and the oil sits at the bottom. But in house man they're the shit. A lot of flavor for something so plain it's great. Out of all the XLB the seven grams ones are my favorite i believe they're just pork. The other ones are good too but idk the broth just doesn't hit the same as the OG's do. Lastly and a must, the spicy wontons. You have to get them; even if you don't tolerate spicy food you'd still like them because the spicy is perfect. Not overly spicy where it's not good but a perfect amount to get a little kick and devour the whole plate on your own. Now dessert, honestly I'm not a huge dumpling dessert fan, but i always got the fried buns with condescend milk but they got rid of it! RIP to my favorite dessert, i hope they bring it back. The custard buns are just too eggy for me so i don't fuck with it, I'm sorry seven grams plz bring back the fried dough buns! No but seriously if you haven't tried this place out, you're missing out! The take out is honestly great as well and it's pretty fast. 30 minutes is usually just 10-15 minutes lol they're on it! I always recommend this place to friends and family and i even have my in laws from Arizona talking about it still! I can't say much about their Irvine location as I've never gone, but the rancho one is a top 5 for me if not top 3!

The place is very clean and updated with beautiful decor . The staff were very nice and friendly. The food was on the bland side to wish there was more flavor. I thought it was spicy but it wasn't even after adding the chili oil . The price was decent wasn't too bad for the amount of food they gave. So over all service 8/10 for cleanest 9/10 food I gave it a 6.5/10

Quality, fresh, and delicious food. My family and I visited Seven Grams in Rancho Cucamonga for the first time a few weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. Service was just as good as the food. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, attentive, and checked in on us often. We came in on a weekend for lunch and they were definitely busy. The inside space has limited seating, but the staff does an excellent job of serving food quickly to help alleviate any long wait times for people wanting to dine in. They are a popular spot and it is well-justified. Definitely worth the wait, although you can order to take out. Seven Grams is located in the Victoria Gardens shopping area. We have tried several dumpling spots in the area and, without any question, Seven Grams is probably my favorite. We ordered several items during our visit. Our order consisted of: - Shrimp XLB - Wonton with Chili Sauce - Beef Roll - Garlic Butter Shrimp Noodle - Taro XLB Everything was fresh and of good quality. There wasn't one thing we did not like.I would highly recommend anything from our above order. All of it was really that good! The XLBs were nice and juicy and the Garlic Butter Shrimp Noodle was perfection. We had a memorable first experience at Seven Grams and would definitely return in the future. 5-stars all around. If you're trying to decide whether to stop in; just do it!

This place is awesome :) one of the best dim sum place that I've been in recent times. The ambiance looks clean and organized. It was so appetizing to eat in here cause of its ambiance. The service is solid too and quick to deliver our orders. My mom, lil bro and I ordered their wonton soup, which is a must. It was savory and their dim sum sauce complimented all their items. I ordered their scallion pancakes, which is a must as well. The sesame balls are just perfect dessert. Overall, all their items are a must so you can never go wrong what to order lol. Definitely going back here again :)

Not bad for a rainy day! Surprised they were open on lunar new year, but they were and not too busy. We had never been here and appreciated how fast our food came out and the price. Growing up in the Bay Area, we're accustomed to dim sum being cheap. So this place was a warm surprise. All things considered, it's not din tai fung, but if you want something quick, inexpensive and tasty while in Victoria gardens, look no further. It's a small place with limited tables as well as one communal table in the middle. But it serves its purpose well. I really enjoyed the wontons in chili sauce. They weren't spicy but they were delicious nonetheless. The lava custard buns were pretty good too. I also enjoyed the creamy garlic shrimp noodles. There was bacon on it which i enjoyed although i don't think I've ever had Chinese food with bacon on it before. They were nice and the food was decent. I'll be back for sure. We spent about $100 for everything pictured and a couple things that are not. Fed the three of us perfectly without leaving hungry.

Small Chinese restaurant or cafe located at the Victoria Gardens area of Rancho Cucamonga. Although it's located in arguably one of the most commercial areas of city, this place does have a family owned and operated vibe to it. Folks are friendly and the prices are more than reasonable. I came in on a weeknight after work, so although the place was pretty full and busy, I got seated within five minutes. I was also able to find parking at a meter a few steps away on the street. The menu is pretty streamlined or I just kinda knew what I was craving or wanted at the time and didn't really dig into the rest of the menu, but I ended up ordering soup dumplings and pickled green beans prime beef noodle soup. This beef noodle soup was loaded with pickled green beans, kale, onion, and parsley. It really hit the spot and made me feel like I was getting a good intake of greens. The dumplings had a great structure and were also tasty. Just a tasty place with reasonable prices. Great for casual lunches or dinners, especially when you want to take a break from shopping in the surrounding area.

This place is delicious, the shrimp was great. The xiao long Bao was super tasty. Loved the dipping sauce and all of the sides were really good too. I have no complaints from this place will definitely be back. The service was great, constantly attended the table. I wish they had more options for drinks. It's a very limited menu. But the place was busy it's modern lots of lighting definitely not a place you sit down and relax. You get in and get out after you eat your food. Quick Chinese food love it.

Ordered takeout so cannot comment on service + ambience. Got the cold noodles with chili oil dressing. Not a fan since I didn't expect it 50% of the dish to be raw bean sprouts. Noodles were okay with the sauce.

Best chinese food ive ever had! The pork noodles and chili wontons are to die for. The restaurant is very clean and perfect for a date. On top of that, its in a very cute area and you can walk down the food around the mall! I recommend this place to everyone that tells me they're going to victoria gardens. I usually dont leave reviews but omg I have to the food is just that good. Although I will say that the food is pretty far from spicy even if it says that it is, but thats just a personal preference.

This spot is conveniently located in Victoria Gardens so it's perfect for a quick bite between shopping. We came on a weekday afternoon and still had to wait about 15 minutes due to the small dining area with limited seating, so I can only imagine how busy it gets on the weekends. Although the space is tight, the staff was attentive and efficient. We ordered a shrimp XLB, beef roll, spicy pork paste, noodles and garlic butter, shrimp noodles. The XLB and beef roll were delicious and classic. The noodles had a more unique fusion style that felt a bit out of place next to the traditional dim sum items, but they were still delicious. The beef roll was so good that we ended up ordering another one to go. Prices were relatively affordable compared to other dim sum places. Overall, a solid option for a quick dim sum fix in a convenient location.

Chicken dumplings had a good filling to wrapper ratio, but the filling needed way more seasoning. It just tasted like wet, mushy stuff inside, and drowning the dumpling in chili oil barely helped. And the two fried dishes weren't flavorful either--they weren't dredged very well, so they just tasted like oil. This was especially disappointing for the scallion pancake, since it looked nice...but didn't taste of scallions at all. Overall, really disappointing. I might give it a try at a different location if the opportunity comes up, but with the menu being rather small, I'm not even sure it'd be worth the time.

This place can probably fit 40 people, it's so small. We tried a few items such as their beef roll, wonton with chili sauce, their seven grams xlb, , fried mini buns, noodle with scallion oil sauce, and potato string shrimp. Their seven grams xlb was disappointing, the broth and meat inside didn't have any flavor to it IMO. The mini buns were sweet and heavy, and we split one and didn't touch the rest. The noodle with scallion sauce was just okay...again, not much flavor. I didn't like the potato shrimp at all, too doughy and hard. The beef rolls were just okay to me, again kinda bland without dumping it in shoyu and vinegar). The best dish was their spicy wontons. It had a nice kick to it and we saved the sauce to dump everything else we ate in it lol.

I cant justify any of these dishes making me want to consume bowls upon bowls of rice. That's what spicy Szechuan and Hunan food is supposed to do....it should make you awaken your taste buds, with the power of their chilli peppers, Szechuan green & red peppercorns, and the umamis derived from MSG. Nope, I didn't crave the Lazi Chicken...nor the Hot Oil Beef Mix... Not the Cold Noodles, and I left with a $122 receipt in hand for 2 more takeout items on top of the 4 main dishes I've shared.....and I felt pretty empty. Empty in a sense, I could DO BETTER at home mixing my own Szechuan Cold Noodles, with Home Made Chili Oil, Sesame Paste, Sugar. Chicken Bullion, Minced Garlic, Vinegar, and Cilantro.
