My favorite pho restaurant is Pho 555 in Denver CO. Because? They fuse Umami + Fatty Oils from Beef and doesn't matter whether is tripe, or rare steak, or brisket, or equally separated vermicelli noodles with every bite, you taste an alamgamation that is truly unique in the world of Pho and this restaurant Bone & Broth REMINDS me of eating that Bowl of Pho 555 in Denver Colorado in the midst of Winter: Wholesome, Fulfilled, Packed with Umami in the broth, and I guess everything they say is true..this is the best Pho in Ontario CA...probably in the entire San Bernardino County! And I do not challenge this statement! Ambiance: Packed full house dinner service on a Wednesday night. Service: Speed + Attentiveness Food: Deserves a place in the Best Pho Restaurants of the lower 48 states.
Huge bowls of pho! My boyfriend picked me up from an early flight at Ontario Airport, and Bone & Broth was open right at 10 AM luckily. We ordered two bowls of the Pho Dac Biet & Ontario Combination Appetizer plate. Everything was out pretty speedy to the table! The soup hit just right for a morning meal. The portions here are VERY GENEROUS. It had plenty of tasty meat and lots of noodles (cooked a bit al-dente for my taste, but it's different for everyone). I think my boyfriend and I could've honestly shared one bowl and be satisfied. It was not a bad price either for a huge bowl. I might be biased since I love huge portions for an affordable price, but I thought it was a delicious bowl. The appetizers were solid, I would've liked a bit more portion as the egg rolls and shrimp rolls were a skinny. If I lived closer I would probably frequent this place a lot more, but this will probably be the place I go to when I fly out of ONT. Way better than other spots that I've tried in the IE so far.
The good: I got bun combo (vermicelli bowl), rice combo plate (had pork, beef, shrimp) and beef pho. I was psyched that my toddler ate the meat and rice because he rarely eats meat! The meat had fragrant grill flavor. The pho broth was sweet. They had a lot of drink options as well as menu entree options. The interior was nice with a lot of booth-style seats. I really liked the cool presentation of the boat for the bun dish. The host was really friendly and accommodating. I think pho was the standout dish. I liked the shreds of carrot in the fish sauce. The bad: They forgot to give the nuoc mam (fish sauce) for the rice plate. The rice in the rice plate wasn't broken rice. The fish sauce was on the vinegary side and I wish it had a deeper fish sauce flavor. The honeydew smoothie was on the sweet side. The pho broth could've been a bit saltier. The interesting: They brought the bill to our table. Usually at Vietnamese places you pay at the counter (which I think is an option too). The combo rice plate was served in two different plates which was something I've never seen before.
I used to love this place, but I'm not sure if it's inflation or something else, either way, the quality has definitely gone downhill. The noodle portions are noticeably smaller than before, and the beef is now mostly tiny scraps instead of actual slices. I think there were only one or two full pieces in the entire bowl, which was pretty disappointing. The pho came out incredibly fast, but the rest of our dishes took forever to arrive. The egg rolls were another letdown. The filling barely tasted like meat and was mostly floury or starchy in texture. Overall, the food just isn't what it used to be. The only reason I'm giving an extra star is because the service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the decline in food quality means I won't be coming back.
The Filet Mignon House Fries & Rice was absolutely delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries paired really well with the steak, and the vegetables added a nice balance to the dish. It was well-seasoned and satisfying from start to finish. I would definitely order it again. The bone broth and egg rolls were both really good and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the spring rolls were disappointing. The rice paper wrapper was very dry, and there was very little shrimp and pork belly inside, making them taste bland. The customer service was okay. Overall, I'd come back for the pho and egg rolls, but I would skip the spring rolls next time.
Stopped by here on a Monday before heading to the airport. We wanted something quick to eat. Plenty of parking around the restaurant and we got seated right away. We all got different things to try. I got the brisket and meatball pho along with a green thai tea and my friends got the nem nuong cuon, wings, wonton soup, and prawns with rice. Service was fast we waited 10 minutes to get our food. The green thai tea was okay! Not bad but not my favorite either. I wish there was stronger tea flavor. The broth for the pho was good it was definitely needed after a long night. My second favorite was definitely the wonton soup. Not too heavy and has a lot of protein.
4/10/2026 3 1/2 Stars - Reluctant to take away stars, since the service was excellent. However, two of the three items ordered were not great. BONE & BROTH I have seen pictures online before ordering this dish and wow, the bones are massive! Ginormous! I mean there's no polite way to eat this. Lol. The broth had a good beef broth flavor, but a tad bit salty. It comes with thinly sliced onions and cilantro. It was quite a big bowl with two generous portions of meat on bone! There was a good amount of meat, collagen and cartilage. The server offered a small bowl of beef broth at no extra charge. I did add noodles on the side. This is a good dish to share. I would order it again. GRILLED PORK CHOP & RICE There were two options. a) 2 grilled pork chops or b) 1 grilled pork chop, shredded pork skin, pork quiche. I chose option b. This dish was recommended by my server, as he said it's a nostalgic dish for him and I was looking for a new dish to try. Sadly, this dish did not deliver. The pork chop was small, thin and dry. The flavor was good, but it still was not good and some parts of it was burnt. The quiche was so weird and reminded me of tofu, but so rubbery. The shredded pork skin was a little portion on the side and I did not expect it to be pulverized like that. I thought it would be pork skin strips. Having said all that, I would not order that again. The server did offer to change it for something else, but I decided to keep the dish I ordered. Bad choice, but it was that kind of day. BROWN SUGAR BOBA This was okay. It is your typical brown sugar boba flavor, albeit a tad sweet. The boba was overcooked. CUSTOMER SERVICE Excellent customer service, attentive, friendly service and welcoming staff! It's always good to have a good wait staff because good customer service is so hard to find in many restaurants. Bad service means chasing away customers. Given my food experience, except for one good dish, I would not return, but the customer service was excellent and that warrants another try. I'll stick to their popular dishes next time. PARKING They had a large parking lot, even though it was shared with other businesses, there were plenty of parking spots available.
I was really excited to finally try this place after hearing great things from friends and reading so many positive reviews. First impression. It's a surprisingly large pho restaurant, very clean, and I liked the overall layout and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the service was a bit hit or miss. When I first walked in, I stood near the front for a few minutes without being acknowledged, and two of the staff members seemed noticeably annoyed that I was there. Thankfully, one gentleman completely turned that around. He stepped in, got me seated, took my order, and checked in on me throughout my visit. I really appreciated his attentiveness. I ordered my usual: pho tai with meatballs, plus extra basil and jalapeños. The food was decent, but it didn't quite live up to the hype I had built up from all the reviews. It was good overall, just not particularly memorable. I drove about 30 minutes to try this spot, so while I might stop by again if I'm already in the area, it's probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way for.

This time I got a Thai tea too and it was solid. Also got the veggie egg rolls for appetizers and they're perfectly crispy and the sweet chili sauce is delicious. There are TVs inside and they're usually playing sports, which is something I appreciate while I'm eating. There's usually a wait so I recommend joining the Yelp waitlist if you're close enough. Parking lot is usually full as well. Only downside was the restroom, it definitely needed some attention and was a bit of a mess.
I have dined here a handful of times already, and both the quality of food and customer service are consistently superb. While the interior is very modern, the food is very no-frills and exactly what I expect, which is quite a rarity nowadays with the rise of "trendy" Asian-inspired food spots. This time, we got the Vermicelli Boat Special and Ontario Combination Pho. The pho is my go-to: the broth was flavorful but the meat, while plentiful, was on the smaller side. That said, I always find myself wishing it had more noodles since the portion of meats is always quite generous. We got the pork as our choice of protein for the vermicelli dish; the marinade was incredible and the noodles were perfectly al-dente. The egg rolls were delicious but they're always a bit on the skinnier side, even in the appetizer. Overall, Bone & Broth is a gem to Ontario.
Have been coming here since they opened a few years back, and they've been consistently amazing! From their service to the quality of the dishes, always happy with the experience! All of my friends and family that I've brought here have loved it! Today, we came without a reservation and joined the waitlist once we arrived. As it was a Friday night, we did have to wait about 15-30 minutes, but it was worth! Our food was delivered to our table so quickly, while still being fresh and maintaining the flavor profiles! Our waiter was very friendly, even checking on us a few times. All of the other staff were kind and helpful as well Portions were generous, with perfect ratio of noodles to protein to veggies!
Ontario Appetizer Plate: Great dish to get if you're looking to share with a group. Nice variety to share and take the leftovers back home. Spicy Sate Pho: Peanut with pho, it tastes different in a good way. But I mainly prefer my pho broth just to come from beef. Spice lovers the spice is bit more on the slightly spice side but Chicken Pho: Very light pho, refreshing, and hearty dish. I would choose this if you're in a mood for a healthier pho alternative.

Came here on a Monday night with a party of 8. They don't take reservations via Yelp for parties 7 or more so I had to call in. When I got there they told me 20-30 minute wait. Luckily, we only waited 10 minutes. We got seated and ordered within a few minutes. After that service was kind of slow. Food comes out at different times. But at least the food is still hot when it comes out. My family always order the ""bone and broth" which they enjoy. I like the crispy tofu. This time is was nice and crunchy and had that garlicky taste I like. We did stay past closing time, but they were kind enough and let us finish our meal and our chit chat without rushing us. read more

I visited this place on June 18th and I ordered a large #18. I was happily eating my Pho then came across this piece of hair! I didn't make a fuss about it because I wasn't feeling so good that day but this was just unacceptable. I hope they wear hair nets in the kitchen. read more

One of the best, if not the best, Pho in the area! Been going here for years and it never disappoints. I usually order Pho and sometimes with the Beef Marrow, but this time I ordered the Vermicelli dish and it came in a huge boat! So delicious and a great deal- can't wait to be back! read more

We had a fantastic dinner here on a weeknight just before 6pm and were seated right away. I ordered the grilled meat pho with grilled pork, and the beef broth was so rich and flavorful that I didn't even bother adding the fresh herbs or condiments. My husband added the basil, lime, and jalapeño--and promptly declared it the best pho he's ever had. We also shared the garlic noodles with chicken, which were incredibly flavorful and came in very generous portions (we saw lots of people boxing up leftovers--sadly not an option for us since we were traveling!). Our server was attentive and checked in several times, and we were in and out in under an hour. Prices felt very fair for the amount and quality of food. The ambiance was family-friendly, though I personally could've done without the TVs. Overall, a delicious hit--we'd come back in a heartbeat. read more
Great food. Fast service. Plenary of seating. When I'm craving comforting soup, this is where I come. Their shaking beef dish is good too but tend to order the pho here. I do the large 2 protein and brisket and round eye. So basic but so yummy. I'm usually in and out of there pretty quickly which is great because I'm usually there on my lunch break. They do get busy though so try to go early or after the lunch rush. read more
Service was slow during this visit , we waited quite a while for a waiter to stop by to take our order . My girls liked their beef rice plate with shrimps and egg rolls. I unfortunately was not impressed with the nem Nuong spring rolls, the pork rolls were sliced bacon thin and slightly crispy . Our waiter did stop by to ask how was my food. I complained why the nem Nuong were sliced so thin and there are no herbs in the rolls either . He did brought me a side of basil . The chicken wings has a hint of fishy sauce scents, my girls turned their nose . I don't mind the smell , we did agree the chicken was too dry . Ordered to go a pork noodle salad , sadly the pork lacked flavor and my son didn't care too much for it . read more

Food: they are called Bone and Broth for a reason! The pho broth tastes so good! One of the most refreshing and stray one I've ever had. We chose 2 proteins and the amount is good and filling. The fresh spring rolls are quite dry and not giving you that a mouthful of fresh bite with veggie, vermicelli, pork and shrimp as well; not recommended. As for the vermicelli, overall is just okay, the grilled meats and shrimps are too dry. Service: they are very nice and this place is very popular. A wait time of 30 minutes is minimum. Ambiance: casual and clean. Also big group friendly. read more
I've been wanting to try this place for a few months now due to the amount of raving reviews! I finally had a chance to and came by myself. First impressions: super clean restaurant with plenty of parking. The atmosphere is very inviting and perfect for dining alone or bringing a large group. I was super impressed by the large menu and amount of different options, including vegetarian substitutions. My waiter Tony was very welcoming and sat me promptly/answered any questions I had. I ended up ordering the Vermicelli Boat with grilled chicken and no peanuts. The food came out fairly quickly and I was amazed by the freshness and quality. In addition, the portion was huge for the price which I was impressed with. The lettuce and bean sprouts were super crisp and the chicken was delicious. I'm really glad I decided to stop by today because the quality of the food here was amazing. ALSO whoever is in control of the playlist has really good music taste!!! Made my day :) read more

We got seated right away, service was decent, and our food came in quickly. We ordered the Ontario Appetizer Plate, the Ontario Combination Pho, the Spicy Sate Pho, and a Honeydew smoothie. This was my second lunch at Bone & Broth, and it was as good as the first time. This spot is very popular for lunch. It's probably because the staff are nice and the dining room is clean and inviting. The food arrived in a flash. I got 2 spring rolls to start off with. They were large and full of fresh ingredients. Pork and shrimp was the protein, with crunchy sprouts and veggies. Really good Next a bowl with huge soup bones. The #26, bone broth soup. This is for people who like to naw on the tendons and connective tissue of knuckle bones My serving had 2 large bones with plenty of meat and tendon still on it. The broth is rich and well seasoned. So good Staff stopped ny amd checked on me regularly and I was able to get in and out with a full belly in my hour lunch break no problem. I'll be back soon. read more
This is my favorite pho place. The service here is always great and efficient and the food is beyond amazing. Make sure to try any of the grilled meat items (soooo good) and the Thai tea (both green and regular) are bomb. Com as well. Ambiance is super chill. Nothing too fancy but clean and comfy. You're in Pho' a Real Treat! I stopped into Bone and Broth while in the in Ontario Area. After wandering around Ontario Mills for a few hours shopping and looking for deals, I was famished and in the mood for Pho! Bone and Broth is a highly recommended place for classic Vietnamese food, and they have their own take on many classic dishes. My server suggested I try the Iced Green Thai Tea, which was actually better than I thought it would be. For my meal, I ordered Vietnamese Egg Rolls, which are crispy, fried pork egg rolls. These were really good, and I should have ordered two of them as the two that come with the serving aren't quite enough. My main course was, of course, Pho, and I ordered the 'Ontario' Combination Pho with Beef rounds, beef meatballs, beef brisket and loaded with tripe. This is a great take on classic pho and the perfect serving size as it wasn't too great a portion and it wasn't too small either, it was just the right-sized portion. Thank goodness for Yelp queue because the wait was 40 something minutes long! Came here for dinner after a full day of shopping at Ontario Mills. We were seated at the very back of a hallway, and I was worried we wouldn't get good service here. I was right to worry, but not for us. The table in front of us kept trying to get the attention of servers to place an order to no avail. After the gentleman angrily walked up to someone, they were finally attended to. The employee was very apologetic and offered a free menu item for them, but I guess they refused, because at the end of the meal, the employee let them know half their meal was on the house due to the wait. Good on them for fixing an issue like that! Now, onto the food! Spicy pho sate: 4.5/5 -not too spicy, not oily, still had the same depth as their regular broth. Came with 3 shrimp, some fried fish ball, imitation crab, beef ball, and some beef slices. not enough beef, but had a lot of imitation crab. Overall a very solid bowl! read more

Getting on the Yelp waitlist was quick and easy, which made the whole experience start off smoothly. The space was clean and welcoming, and I really appreciated that it did not have that lingering pho smell that usually follows you home on your hair and clothes. We ordered the appetizer platter, plain pho for the kids, two meat pho, grilled beef pho, chicken roti, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The service was good throughout the meal, attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out at a nice pace. The real standout was the broth. It was rich and flavorful without being overly salty, which is not always easy to pull off. The noodles had a great texture and were not overly soft or chewy. The meats were tender, flavorful, and easy to enjoy in every bite. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also a nice pairing with the meal. My only small critique was the spring roll, which had a bit more lettuce than I personally like, so the balance felt a little off for me. My boyfriend and I come to this spot every other week! We have tried many pho spots, but they don't beat this place. Highly recommend joining the waitlist before coming, there's almost always a wait but it's worth it. The service is pretty quick once you're seated. We always order the filet mignon pho and either shrimp springrolls, or the chicken wings, or the salt & pepper shrimp. The pho is super flavorful, the broth overpowers the noodles & protein, but also keeps a balance of flavor. The portions are perfectly filling, and makes a quite enjoyable meal. Quick seating. Basic ambience but appreciated all the televisions for game watching. I had tofu noodle soup in beef broth. 4/4 Rich broth, fried tofu and plenty of fresh veggies. Hubs enjoyed the combo plate- excellent bbq pork. Server included small bowl of broth. Hubs never gets broth and thoroughly enjoyed this one. 4/4 Unfortunately the spring roll appetizer was a disappointment with beef consistency similar to shoe leather and tasteless. 0/4 We live too far to frequent regularly but will def return when in the area. Food: We got beef pho a few days ago with a side of vegetables. And it was so good. The one thing that kinda sucked was the pho came out and the vegetables took a while to come. But other than that it was so good. We've been here before and the food has always been good! And the portions are big so we always have leftovers! Service: The service is good, they are very attentive and respectful! Inside: they have a lot of seats inside. I'd suggest you reserve a table before you go because the wait CAN be long time. We got the bone & broth, the pork rice plate, and the combo pho. All were very yummy and pretty authentic. The bone & broth was definitely more of a "for the table" dish and definitely not as soemthing to eat on your own (unless you really enjoy collagen). As a first-timer, I have to say the pho here completely won me over. The broth was rich, flavorful, and comforting--exactly what I hoped for and more. I also tried the pork spring rolls, and they were fantastic: fresh, savory, and the perfect complement to the pho. Even though the restaurant is quite large and was busy when I went, the service was impressively quick and very friendly but overall a very peaceful and social ambiance! The staff made me feel welcome right away, which really added to the experience. Next time, I'll definitely use the Yelp waitlist to get seated faster since this place is clearly popular. But overall, Bone and Broth Pho is absolutely worth the visit, and I'll be coming back soon!! read more

What am excellent experience from walking in the door, being greeted with a smile, immediately after sitting at my table the host/server immediately took my drink order. The menu is easy to read and the ingredients are clearly explained. My food came out quickly, even though it was lunch rush. The food was tasty, well seasoned and the egg roll... I wish I had 10 of them. Plenty on the boat, I didn't finish. Easily tapped to pay on their table side thingy and I was out in under 30 minutes. Will be back!! Soon!! read more
