This place was okay. Wouldn't be my top choice. Pricey for just okay Ramen. Ordered spicy Ramen and it can be improved. Tasted like powder chili if I'm being honest. First and last time. Side options tasted like they were frozen and not handmade. Plenty of parking. Bathrooms clean.

This place is starting to become my go to for simple and trustworthy Japanese food. It's a very spacious place with quick service. My coworkers and I like to come here during lunch time because of how quick the service is and how high quality the food is. The highlight of the menu is definitely the chicken katsu curry. You just can't go wrong with it. The chicken is perfectly crispy, doused with flavorful umami curry and over a bed of rice. The spicy tonkotsu ramen is also pretty good but not life changing. The portions are also pretty big! I tend to pack up what I can for my next meal and I always look forward to it.

I arrived with a reservation to find they don't accept them - suggested Yelp edit already submitted. The service was terrible. Maybe they were short staffed because everything we ordered took much longer than it should have. Our appetizer (edamame) arrived after our ramen was delivered. Our entire experience was us waiting for items to be delivered. The men's bathroom door had graffiti on it, including a p3nis. Yes the ramen was good in the moment but it definitely messed up my stomach that I didn't trust to eat the left overs.

Came here after a long day of shopping at Ontario Mills and was craving something warm. There were plenty of seats when we arrived; however, it got packed around 7PM. Ordered Tonkotsu Ramen, Spicy Miso Ramen, and Chicken Karaage. I really loved how they provided a generous amount of meat and side ingredients such as eggs, seaweed, wood ear mushrooms, ginger, and green onions. Other places would've charged extra, so honestly, it was quite affordable for what you get. The meat was a bit tough and dry. Both dishes were rich in flavor, but I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever tasted. The Chicken Karaage was delicious. They were very generous with the portion size, and though the batter was a bit on the thicker side, it was crispy, hot, and evenly coated. Overall, I thought this place was a great option for comfort food. The interior could've been a bit more updated and cleaner. The cut of the meat could've been more consistent to prevent dryness. Minor issues in my opinion but still affordable and comforting. Great for large parties. Parking was easy. Staff was quick and nice.

Came here for dinner, which had a convenient location right next to the Ontario Mills, and there was no wait, though the inside area is small. I had the Tonkotsu ramen, and also split the chicken karaage and had a bit of the miso ramen as well. The tonkotsu is not bad, I like that there were four slice of meat, more than many other ramen places. I didnt like that the slab of ginger in there changing the flavor of the soup, or that the half egg's yolk was a bit overdone, but the flavor of the soup and the ramen noodles, and the pork is not bad. Same with the miso soup pork, and I liked how there was a lot of green onions in that one. I also liked how many pieces of chicken were in the chicken karaage. The batter was a bit thick and I wish this one was the one with a bit more ginger flavor, but otherwise not bad. Service is good and prices are decent.

Food was delicious. Hit the spot on a rainy day! Got the popcorn chicken miso ramen spicy (medium) had a god kick to it.

We decided to eat here because our first option has a longer wait. On Sunday 1pm there's no wait at all. Just three tables right now and we were served immediately. We ordered the chicken cutlet curry and kuro ramen. I noticed the flyer for free ice cream if you tag and like this place in IG but I decided not to do. The ramen taste ok and the chicken cutlet curry is good. I think the chicken cutlet was freshly fried which is good. The ramen soup base doesn't have much of flavor. Service is very good. I'll give this experience 3.8

The ramen here is AMAZING! It's so flavorful. The cashier/waiter was very nice and was very attentive. They play good music not too loud but not too low either. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is a Ramen lover

Gone in 60 second. Popcorn chicken ramen.

Absolutely delicious food , ramen and popcorn chicken perfection. We came here quite often . My daughter loves the tonkatsu ramen. Highly recommended. Service is great and great ambiance.

Smells good walking in! Was really craving ramen but the nearest options were ridiculous at $17-$18 a bowl, with reviews talking about skimping out and quality being subpar. I was not taking any chances! Food just doesn't hit like before and quality for the value can be hard to find, but this place gets it. Right when I walked in there was a flavorful aroma that let me know I was in for a treat. The place was empty with 2 other patrons, which was perfect for me. As soon as we sat, we were handed menus and given a moment to make selections. I was set on the Tonkatsu, my kids had the miso and udon selections. Spicy edamame was ordered for appetizer and it was definitely a highlight for the experience. The Udon came with a side of popcorn chicken and it was so flavorful, crispy, and delicious - definitely recommend! The star of the show is obviously the ramen! Just look at that picture - the portions, the color, the variety. I took one sip of the broth and dove right in. Every bite was umami with the perfect amount of green onion and ginger. The textures, the flavors, the warmth of the broth and the heat from the spicy edamame were a whole experience for me. I haven't had a good food experience like this in a long time and I'm just so grateful to have found this gem.

Was craving some ramen since the weather has been a little chilly so decided to try this place. First off, it is a small place and table/seats are close to each other so you can basically hear each other's convos. We ordered the spicy ramen (medium) - one with pork and the other with popcorn chicken. Broth flavor was good and the all blended in together well. Out of both of them, I'd probably prefer the popcorn chicken over the pork because the one we got just basically had nothing but fat on it. We also ordered fried gyoza and spicy edamame. The spicy edamame has got to be one of my favorites out of all sushi places I've tried. Will come back just for that! Service is a little slow and and use some more friendliness.

We were seated pretty quick and I ordered the jalapeño bombs as well as the Tonkotsu Spicy Black ramen. Everything was delicious. The ramen was flavorful and the portion was satisfying. You can selct the spicy level. I got to try both levels 1 and 2. Level 2 is on the spicier side and just on the cusp of being too much. I think 3 would be too spicy to enjoy, imo. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Im glad I got the black garlic addition. It added an extra layer of flavor. I will be checking this place out some more.

One thing to keep in mind is that the bowls don't automatically include the salted egg, so you'll have to shell out a few extra dollars if you want that classic topping. While the meal itself was a hit, the logistics of the meal were a bit more frustrating. The service was fairly lackluster and felt mostly absent; we waited quite a while for attention, and the overall pace was very slow. It's the kind of place where you have to be proactive if you need a refill or the check. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restaurant is a major concern. Everything felt "sticky" from the tables to the floors and the bathrooms were definitely not well-maintained. It's hard to fully enjoy a premium-priced meal when the environment feels a bit neglected. On a brighter note, the location is very convenient. Since it's tucked into a large strip mall, parking is incredibly easy and stress-free, which isn't always the case in Chino Hills. If you are a "food first" person who doesn't mind a bit of grit and slow service, the ramen is worth a try, but the management could definitely step up the cleaning

Yo-Kai has solid ramen for a kiosk in Ontario Airport!…read more I've been curious about this kiosk, as it always pops up as a recommended ramen joint in the Rancho/Ontario area. There is a limited selection of noodle soups ranging from tonkotsu to Taiwanese beef noodle soup to even beef pho! By the time I arrived to the terminal, most of the popular options were sold out, so I opted to get the Japanese shoyu ramen. The broth was well-seasoned, noodles al dente, and pork slices perfectly tender. It came with naruto, corn, woodear mushroom, and bamboo shoots. The kiosk has some sort of steaming function that heats the bowl of soup to scalding temperatures within 45 seconds - my hand was burning from how hot the bowl was, to the point where one of the employees offered to grab paper towels as a makeshift trivet. My only qualm is that there were no utensils/chopsticks/soup spoons! I'd definitely return the next time I'm at ONT!

If you are catching a flight to China, you know it is at very early hours and there is nothing to eat. I have tried almost all of the options this machine has. My favorite has been the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. My second favorite is the Pork Chatsu. After you get the dispensed bowl, do not forget to grab a box of utensils that's available right below the bowl dispenser. Before opening the lid, I usually stick the chopstick in the middle and swir around few times to keep the tempearature even. For rice dishes, I will do the same but wait few extra minutes for the rice to soak up the juice so you do not end up with runny rice dish. Enjoy!

Menu is small but I prefer it that way. We opted for a Tonkatsu Ramen, a Spicy Miso Ramen, and a roll (sorry, I can't remember the name of the roll). Tonkatsu Ramen: classic ramen. Delicious. Broth was flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Spicy Miso Ramen: definitely not too spicy. Broth was good. Noodles were good. Toppings were plentiful. I really liked the way the egg was cooked. Really enjoyed this ramen but I think next time I'll get the non spicy version to really taste the broth. Roll: This was a really delicious roll. It had shrimp, benito flakes, maybe an eel sauce(?). It was a great roll. A good sized roll, perfect for sharing. Overall, this was a great spot for ramen. Left satisfied and full. Service could be friendlier but definitely not a deal breaker.
